I have postponed finsishing my psych requirements because I work full-time now and he doesn't have any evening classes. That is how good of a teacher he is. I would leave his class everyday somehow feeling better about myself.

He was awarded teacher of the year in 2002 at Columbus State, and it is very true - ALL HIS STUDENTS LOVE HIS CLASS!

Karsten is awesome! If you're in his class on Halloween, you'll see him dancing, dressed up in a silly costume, and throwing candy at his students. He sings, gets up on tables, plays music, and performs martial arts to keep the energy up! Great teacher!

Carson is the best instructor I've had, he made a somewhat boring subject, fun and exciting. I never wanted to miss class becouse I was afraid Id miss somthing. Most of Columbus State instructors could use Carsons help.

Does Karsten teach any other coures at Columbus State? I take classes at both CSCC and OSU and he is by far the best teacher I have had. Pysch could be so much more boring but he makes it fun. I wish he taught some upper level pysch classes I could take next quarter.

Amazing teacher! Come prepared to be entertained! This guy even brings his guitar to class and makes up hilarious songs to go along with the material he's trying to get us to learn. You'll love his class even if you have no interest in Psych!

I absolutely loved Karsten's class. He always has a case study or story to present with the information to help you remember. I think he may have missed his calling in music though. ;) I haven't heard anybody say they didn't love his class. I highly recommend it.

Everyone has said it all before, so I will just keep it simple. Take a class with Look. It will be the best class you take at Columbus State, trust me! I went to Columbus State for 4 years, and I took a lot of classes. His classes were by far the best. You can't go wrong with him.

Good teacher but a little full of himself. I am one of very few republicans at CSCC and he constantly made fun of republican views and my President. He created an overhead game about Bush. Liberal or Republican, I don't care who they are making fun of, such jokes about these things aren't appropriate. It made me very uncomfortable and small.

Karsen is the best psych. professor at cscc. Yes, his class consists of some work, but as long as you attend class regular and do what is required for his class, trust me, you will get an A. His examples and teaching methods are very helpful in understanding the text.

As mentioned in 82 other reviews, he is an excellent teacher to say the least. Doesn't require the text and teaches all that is needed for your notes during class. Gives an exam review before the exam, and is also a fair grader on written assignements. Excellent examples for class and very comedic; makes class fun and interesting: 10/10.

Karston is awesome! I look forward to his class each week, I laugh my ass off the entire class. He played a clip for L7's Bite the Wax Tadpole, come on, AWESOME! The class got over an 84% and he "played with himself" infront of us (GUITAR!!!). I can't say enough good things about him. He's easy to talk to and his projects are fun and exciting.

This class is the easiest class i ever have in CSCC. He is Fun. I recommended taking his class. His Clarity not really clear because he talks too fast. Make sure you get file from other classes that taken with him and you'll come out with an A. If not, it'll be harder for you to take the test. At last it is an EASY A.

Best prof ever. You'll remember everything he says and it's all relevant and applicable to everyday life. About 1/3 of my class has had him before and signed up for him again this quarter. Classes are information packed though, attendance is important. You'll want to be there anyway, he's awesome. Plays guitar in class sometimes.

Karsten was my favorite professor of the 2010-2011 school year. The class was very fun. He even sang a song about anti-depressants once. It's also an easy class, if you pay attention. I missed two classes due to illness, and hardly studied (in fact, I didn't study at all for one of the exams), and got A's on everything.

Karsten is seriously one of the best teachers I have ever had! He makes the subject, which is already pretty interesting, fun and understandable. He uses a lot of multimedia in his lectures as well as the occasional musical performance from himself. He is super laid-back and really funny but you will still learn a lot. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Look is the best professor I've had so far. He puts effort in his lectures and makes class an enjoyable learning experience. Such a great professor! He is so much fun and makes learning simple. Every class is important since he uses powerpoints with all the information that will be on the tests!

Karsten is fantastic! He makes learning fun & interesting. I remembered important things because of how funny & awesome his class was. I looked forward to going to class, which never happens. His tests can be hard if you do not study & take good notescompare with friends. I was sick one time & my makeup test was like 2 wks later & such an EASY A!

Karsten was such an amazing teacher, i tried looking for him in another psych class, but have not saw him these last few semesters i hope he did not leave, he is 1 of the beat professors i have ever had, and going to class was an enjoyment for once, must take him if you can find him.

Karsten is absolutely the best instructor that I have ever taken a college course from. It's really a shame that he is no longer at CSCC. He is extremely knowledgeable, articulate and most of all hilarious. More than anything else, he truly cares about his students. I'm in a graduate program in psychology, and I owe all to him.
