Sarcastic, confusing sometimes, but has 10 minitests instead of exams

Look up ambiguity in the dictionary you'll see his picture!

Horrible teacher. Worst teacher I have ever had. Bad work ethics. How come the university let him teach here?
Girls stay away from him.
Yes, this is a middle eastern man who love american chicks.
Girls,Run!

I don't think he know the subject well enough to teach at a college level. Has the school checked his autenticity of his diploma?
Horrible professor! Horrible experience!
I don't agree with the other posts - but I did take him in the summer. We didn't have to do the huge project that fall/spring semesters have. He gives 9 easy mini tests and then a final. He was a good professor and I would recommend him.
A mean teacher. Unfriendly. Not willing to help at all!
I totally disagree with the other posts. He's a perfectly nice guy. The subject matter is very difficult, therefore, people need a scapegoat-- why not blame Kashi?
Khazeh just expects you to learn the material and to not have forgotten what you've supposedly already learned. I thought he was an easy professor, but I took him for grad.
he was tough. I had him for a summer class and I did finance all the time. if you have a job then dont take him but if you have the time to put in to the class then you will learn alot.
Ridicilous grader. He takes half the points away for no reason even if u answered the question.
My one problem with Dr. Khazeh is he assumes too much. He is very unclear with his teaching and since he knows the material well he assumes you do too. He also makes you feel like an idiot if you ask questions in class which I felt was very frustrating.
I dont' kno what everyone else is talking about, I got an A. Yes, he's a hard prof but you have to understand that FINANCE is hard regardless of what prof you have. Great guy and is genuinely nice
Very difficult teacher. Tests weren't too bad. However, he was very unreasonable with project. Gave majority of our class Incomplete's. Failed me and my partner after 4 attempts, and blamed me for missing classes. Seemed to favor some students.
Khazeh is the most ridiculous grader. He also likes to lecture the class on how stupid he thinks we are. Also have trouble understanding his poor English.
He's a horrible teacher. You have to teach yourself everything if you want to understand. He'll also take a long time every class lecturing on the "code of conduct." He's a huge pain in the ass to have. Get Sean Reid if you have the chance.
Absolutely horrible. He wasted time telling us life lessons and about the Code of Conduct. He was very unclear with directions and would change his mind constantly. Seriously, he should retire.
I took him during the winter and thought he was easy. When the exam was hard, he was reasonable and didn't count the workout part. Does a lot of problems in class. There were no projects though. I don't know what others are saying but he really cares about his students. His English is GOOD too.
The material is easy, however, he makes it look hard. he is a very bad teacher in class, i didn't feel that he knew much about International Finance. His exams requires a lot of memorization.
Khazeh is a great guy. I had him for 311 over the Winter and now international. He gives quizzes after every 2 chapters are covered which are fairly easy MC. He is very receptive to his students so if you have a question or need to go over something again, ask. His light humor makes class fun too.:)
Khazeh is a horrible instructor for international finance. He teaches from ppt slides and expects everyone to read and understand the material prior to coming to class. His accent is hard to understand, and he is not clear on what he expects out for the group project on international currencies. His test don't reflect what he teaches! Avoid him

He's a hardass but he knows his****. I learned alot.
Great teacher! Extremely helpful. Can't be lazy in this class - work hard and you'll do fine.
Mr Khazeh, Please learn your material before coming to class. It's funny we had an old guy who actually helped Khazeh explain finance. Sorry, Khazeh you are really a lousy teacher

Dr. Khazeh was my professor for this required course for my business degree I received in '93. I took it during Winter session. For every hour we had class, I would study 4 hours. We had class everyday so I studied for 8 hours every night. I also went to his office every day too to clarify problems. He was always there and always ready to help.
Khazeh sucks!
He has an accent that is difficult to understand and causes a lot of confusion on what to do on assignments. Material is not too difficult. He tries to help but he confuses you more because of the language barrier. Class was pretty easy. Two exams and a project make up almost all of your grade.
I took him twice. I liked him so much on my first class that I took him again. Of course he has an accent, because he's not American. duhh!?! Everybody told me he was difficult, but if you study at home, a little bit, you can easily take an A.
Nothing good to say!
Khazeh can be very nice sometimes if you periodically goes to his office and show that you are serious. BUT he can be very arrogant and can make you hate going to his classes. He needs to improve on the way he treats his students. If you study very well you will do good on exams. If not, dont bother wasting your money. Always be ready for class!!
This Professor is impossible to learn from. He has an awful accent and talks down towards students when a question is asked. Final is cumulative and tests are sporatic because he is so unorganized. DO NOT TAKE HIM

ive taken him twice most people give him a bad rep but he pretty much tells you exactly what he wants, just be detailed on tests, and dont take his attitude to heart cuz he just wants to make sure you know your stuff
Took during the summer session, not too helpful, seems like you waste his time when you need explanations.
Dr. Khazeh is an intelligent person and obviously knows what he is talking about in class. But He will often scold the class for anything (ex. not remembering a term from econ 212) and grades unnecessarily hard. His tests are basic but unless you have his answer word for word, it is considered wrong. He also has his own grading scale.
He wasn't helpful at all out of class. His schedule is very full and if you bother him out of class you will get a rude response back. Do not e-mail him if you have to take him. He also uses the book definitions alot!! powerpoints are useless...
He is a very intelligent man. Sometimes his instruction seemed a little vague, but I think that was done intentionally to get the student to think on their own. It was a tough course, but overall I enjoyed what I learned, which I felt was quite a bit.
The material is definitely easier than 311. Only problem when i took him was, we had exams on about 5 chapters but the exam only had 5 questions. fill in the blanks and problems. other than that pretty cool guy and funny too
he had a 8 point drading scale so an A is 92 or higher. He has 11 short exams one after every chaper but the question are very tricky and come straight from the slides and the harest gorup prject take all all semester.he is a smart ass and always calls out and embarresd students..try to avoid him
Women stay away he is a frustrated man, he needs therapy..
-SmaMost of the reviews on here are ridiculous. Khazeh is possibly one of the most intellegent professors i have had. The material is kind of hard. The exams are hard. Yet he goes over EVERYTHING in class, he will perfectly teach you the material. You choose whether or not to learn it. Easy B if you want it.
Not friendly at all. His accent is hard to understand. We get yelled at for random things that don't pertain to class like how we voted for the President. We're afraid to ask him questions because he is mean and does not want to help. I wish I could have had a different teacher. DO NOT TAKE. DO NOT TAKE.
Khazeh is an incredibly intelligent man. That said, he doesn't have any patience with young people. If he is made to repeat himself, he gets a little rude. You'll get yelled at for seemingly random things, but he WILL teach you the material if you listen. If he sees that you pay attention and try, he isn't so bad.
Khazeh is a highly intelligent professor. He expects you to give this class your best effort, otherwise he won't help you. Definitely a tough guy but its all for the better.
Online he mostly just tells you what to read in the book and gives you normal power points as well as narrated ones . All three of these are helpful and he just awaits emails on issues you are having or asks that you join a virtual session with him. I have heard he is very difficult but online its just a matter of studying the material.
He expects too much out of the students and can trick you on the tests. He can also be very rude. Sometimes he is in a good mood but do not expect it too often. Not the hardest class if you read and try.
If your prepared for class pay attention and participate you will pass. Don't mess around in class and he wont yell at you I found him to be really funny. Favorite teacher hands down
Many people don't like Khazeh but it is most likely because they are lazy. I took Khazeh two years in a row and yes, I had to work extremely hard for my A's but I learned a ton of finance. You will have to read and his tests are difficult, but we're juniors and seniors now, people. It's not always going to be a cake walk. Khazeh cares about us.
Finance IS NOT AN EASY SUBJECT! regardless of who teaches it. Khazeh does know his stuff very well. Speaks his mind which can be perceived as rudeness. He will call you out and put you on the spot in front of the class. His exams are multiple choice and pretty straight forward if you study. Requires a lot of hard work. Take Arvi if he is available.
Finance is not an easy subject, and this is a difficult class. Khazeh's tests are multiple choice and fairly straightforward if you know what you're doing. Khazeh expects a lot, so come to class prepared, and never skip. Always be on top of the material, and actually try on the homework assignments. Tough course, tough teacher, but you'll survive.
Finance 311 is a hard course regardless, but Khazeh makes it so much harder than it needs to be. Youll learn a thing or two, but you wont enjoy it. Would not take again. Take another professor if theyre available
Khazeh is a very old-schooled serious professor who seems a bit intimidating at first but really he just wants to see you do your best. The class is hard but if you do the mindtab homework and study hard you should pass the class. Take him if you are a finance major as you will learn a lot, but take Arvi instead if you are not a finance major.
Khazeh is a great professor. Most people are salty because by nature finance 311 is a hard class. Thats unavoidable. If youre a decent worker you will be fine in his class. Were in college guys, life isnt a free ride. Earn your keep. Hell make you laugh from time to time too. If you study, youll be fine.
Exams are impossible, and he doesn't take the time to write or grade them. They are on the computer during class, and are all from the textbook. Take this class online and you'll pass. If not, have fun with a C.
He knows his stuff, just not how to teach it. Take any other professor if possible if you want to learn the material.
Worst professor I've taken at SU. He just does not care about his students. Take anyone else if possible.
Recommend 100%, answers any question you have
A lot of reviews talking about how hard the class it is. We're in college, if you can't handle the studying, just drop out now. The classes are only going to get harder. Dr. Khazeh is a great professor who will help you with anything you need if he sees you are a hard worker. This class will require a lot of hours, so don't take short cuts.
Khazeh was by far the worst professor I took at SU. Not because of the lectures, but because he just dismissed trying to help even if you came in during office hours. He does not prepare you well for tests or anything post-graduation. Take ANY other professor.
If I could give a score of 0 I would. By far the worst semester of my life. Dr. Khazeh implored me to switch to Finance, and I initially liked it. After taking his class, I hated finance. I went to his office hours numerous times and he always criticized me for not knowing the material. Do not take Dr. Khazeh.
He is a good lecturer and teaches the subject well but by God, he is one of the most unhelpful and unaccommodating professors at SU. He takes it as a personal affront if you ask him any questions.
Definitely the least helpful professor I had at SU. Doesn't really care if you pass or fail. Not accessible outside of class. Take anyone else if possible.
DO NOT TAKE KHAZEH. He will ridicule you when you try and ask for help and expects you to know everything before he even talks about it. He does not write his own tests or homeworks, and just uses Quizlet questions for exams. Awful professor.
Khazeh made me hate finance, when I initially loved it. Every concept is made so much harder than it needs to be. Avoid him at all costs
DO NOT TAKE THIS ONLINE CLASS. Khazeh has made me officially hate finance and the fact that Salisbury requires non Finance majors to take it. This is such a nonsense class. This professor let students get away with cheating on the first exam with no repercussions or any bonus to students who didn't cheat.
Very condescending and patronizing. Does not write his own tests and makes them off Quizlet. His lectures are pretty terrible and on more than one occasion he realized he made a mistake 15-20 minutes ago that fundamentally changed the whole concept. Once took 15 minutes to try to open up a PowerPoint and still couldn't figure it out.
Professor Khazeh is the worst professor I have had at Salisbury University by far. He does not care at all about the students he teaches. I am in his online class and asked that he open the test window up earlier due to a work conflict, and he replied with a firm no. His policy for missed tests is a comprehensive exam upon return THE NEXT semester.
Worst Professor I've ever had. He does not care about his students. His exams are hard. Does not give extra credit.
Dr. Kazeh is a good professor but his interpersonal skills need a lot of work. He is very curt in emails and his personality is very grating in class. He responds very poorly when asked questions. But, he did accommodate me when I had some issues because of the Covid-19 pandemic so I am giving him a 3 when I wanted to give him a 2.
This is only the first week of classes and all I can say is hes very rude. A lot of unnecessary comments when you ask him a question. He doesnt care about students learning he just wants to find a way to take points away. Doesnt clearly state whats wrong, just tells you that something is wrong with your work. Just rude.
Online tests were an actual nightmare. Requires an external webcam that can see your face, the computer screen and the workstation. He has a long list of unnecessary rules, and any small mistake in upholding the rules results in a zero for the test. His lectures are awful. Most of the time he is rude to students who ask for clarification. I rate 0.
This professor takes the cake as the worst that Salisbury University has to offer. Extremely rude to every student I witnessed interaction with and gives awful feedback on grades. Astonishing that Salisbury University keeps this guy around to "educate" the future. What a joke - coming from someone who passed his class with an A.
Now heres a guy that is a decent human outside of the classroom but in the classroom, forget about it. Hell give you a project worth 20% at the end of the semester but has no idea how to do his own project. If you ask any questions hell just make you feel dumb and tell you how wrong you are but wont tell you whats right.
lectures were not helpful he would not go over useful material for exams which account for 75 percent of your final grade don't bother with text book use cengage videos and quizzes for study materials or better yet switch to a new professor don't make the mistake of taking this course with him for any reason
Dr. Khazeh is a very knowledgeable teacher. Each chapter had homework and a quiz associated. He doesn't have great interpersonal skills, so don't expect him to be nice. The group project at the end was a disaster but if you try he rewards it. The tests were based off the lectures, PowerPoints, and end of chapter review, so study those really well.
Khazeh is a great teacher who rewards hard work. Sit in front, answer questions and he will remember you well. This is a tough course but if you put 5-7 hours in a week and go to SI you will pass no problem. All finance courses require work outisde of classroom. There are no shortcuts!
Failed everyone in my class. Already a tenured professor so he does not care about actually helping students. Make sure to switch out if possible.
I took finance 101 and all we did was power points. he would take a 20 slide power point and drag it over 2 hours. switch out asap
Where to start with this guy. Without him the finance major would actually be worth doing. To start, he failed everyone in my finance 311 class and cause he's tenured, he couldn't care less. He never taught a lecture and just spent the entire time on 1 or 2 homework questions (he'd usually get wrong). Avoid Kashi like the plague!
PERDUE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS IF YOU SEE THIS PLEASE FIRE THIS MAN. He skips over entire chapters that are on tests and gives zero instruction for his insanely confusing project. Is never helpful when ask questions and proceeds to get mad at you for not understanding. Rude to all of his students and is almost never available outside of class.
This professor does not teach 70% of the material that is on the exam. He will call out students randomly to see if they're paying attention and if they get a question wrong or are caught off guard he will poke fun at them in front of the entire class. Rude, doesnt explain things well, has confusing projects that he doesnt really explain, monotone.
I took him for FINA 101, the class was super easy and he gave real world examples which were helpful but he talks slowly and is kind of boring
Do not take this guy, he is by far the worst teacher i have ever had. His tests are impossible unless u teach yourself all the info from the book cause he doesn't teach in class. He instead spends class time ridiculing students for being confused. He is overall just rude and obviously has tenure and acts like cause he does not even try to help you
Be prepared to not be taught anything and to be made fun of constantly. He singles out students, has favorites. He makes classes required to attend and then doesn't show up. His project is the most unclear thing in my student career and nobody in the class seemed to understand. The study material is not whats on the exam so Goodluck
Be prepared for extremely had exams that have nothing to do with the content "taught." There is also a final project worth 15% of your grade which he gives no instruction on. No exam review sessions. No study guides. No practice exams. In fact when a student asked how to better prepare for his exams they were told to "read the textbook." RUN
