Kat is one of the funner teachers in the school. She makes you feel comfortable and her assignments are a bit unusual compared to what you might be used to. One of which requires you to get up in front of the class, while a number are group-oriented.

By far Kat is one of the best teachers at OCC! This is a teacher who actually wants to come into class have fun and teach students. The work is simple and quick, the lectures are invloving and fun, and the notes/tests are very simple. Overall one of the best classes taken because of the instructor!

this class was really fun and i learned so much about myself. kat is AWESOME but the only bad thing about this class is you have to speak a lot in class. if you don't you can't get an A. other than that i recommend kat to anyone.

This was my 2nd class with Kat and she is just the greatest teacher ever! She is so different from other teachers and she just really cares about her students. Her class is easy.I have gotten A's both semesters... and all you need to do to get an A is get at least C's for all tests and do all the homework and have good attendance!

She is just great, no other word for it. Just take the class, it will be a joy to go to. Just get started on the final project early so you won't get jammed with it at the end of the semester.

Textbooks: Don't buy either. Get book from library photocopy the HW. HW is assigned once a week most of the times but not all 16 weeks. Grading Scale: A - Talk twice per 1.5 hours of class. Miss no more than 3 hours of lecture. Miss 1 HW allowed (late never accepted). Pass all 3 tests; 70% is considered passing, doing better does not matter

Kat Carroll is super sweet and super informative in her lectures. They're long and a bit complicated sometimes but they're very interesting as well.
