Professor Jegdic is an outstanding instructor and extremely gifted in mathematics. She may appear to some to be to smart to be teaching here at UHD, but most students are not exposed to instructors who could easily be teaching at MIT, Yale, or Harvard. She's a hottie, plus a cute butt.

Guys and gals, take this instructor. Dr. Jegdic makes statistics easier to understand and she's lenient on grading. She may be a bit fast, but she knows her stuff. Don't be an idiot, if you need STAT 3309 take professor Jegdic. The line starts forming outside, get your spot now!!!

I RECOMMNED her class. I enjoyed it. she is very helpful, very CONSISTENT and very METHODICAL. She TEACHES and that is what I wanted. Katarina is a great professor. Yes her class is fast and you will need to take lots of notes, but you will do good as long as you attend and study your notes for the test. Don't be afraid to ask questions in class, if you don't she will assume everyone understands the lectures. She is available for help when you needed it. I took her for STAT an A. If you need to take STAT or any other class that she teaches I recommend her. Very nice person.

Great Teacher. Go to class and take notes and you will make an A. Easy homework but time consuming. She drops your lowest test. tells you exactly whats on test. Has review the day before the exam. Very easy as long as you go to class.

taking her for Summer I 2010 and she is amazing. I am a rock when it comes to math but if you come to class and take notes you will do fine. She gives a review and thoroughly goes over the material in class. The book is for minimal use, just 3 homework assignments. test come directly from her notes. Great teacher. Has lots of notes, but they are all useful. Make sure to go to class each day. She is willing to answer questions about the homework in class if you are running on schedule. Very organized. Has lots of availability. Have found her in her office on Friday willing to answer questions.

I had trouble with a question on one of her reviews and wasn't able to get to her until an hour before the test. Dr Jegdic took her time to explain the solution to the question and answered every other question i had. She is one of my Favorite professors at UHD.

She does all notes during class. If you copy all the notes and do the homework, easy A. She is hardcore and straight forward but fair and makes the material understandable for anyone. Follow her directions and syllabus and you will make an A

I took College Algebra with this professor and she was the BEST. She's very helpful and replies to all emails in a timely manner. Even if you don't pass the test, there are many extra credit assignments. You do take notes ALL CLASS, but it is an easy A as long as you keep up with the work.

This is the best online class I ever took in my whole entire LIFE. This teacher is truly crystal clear with her instructions. She has reviews for her tests, and she clearly explains how to do problems. Didn't use the book because there was an e-textbook with your purchase of mymathlab session. I LOVE THIS. I took her hybrid and I have to say she is one of the best professors. She teaches the material step by step and always asks if there are any questions before she moves on!She gives test reviews with solutions worked step by step and writes explanations of the steps, so you never have to wonder how she got from one step to the next!

I took her online class, and it's pretty basic and simple. She gives homework problems from the book due the same day as the test. There are 3 tests & 3 homework assignments, plus a final. It's very easy concepts and open book everything, so getting an A or B is very easy. I'm really glad I took her for this class.

I hate math, and was really worried about taking this class. Best choice for a prof I've made! She is very thorough in explaining the material, gives many examples, is interactive, always willing to answer questions and help with homework, and questions. Take her! You wont regret it! I enjoyed attending her hybrid class bc I learned and passed!

Professor Jegdic was awesome, she taught the class with such ease, the class was half hybrid and half in-class so some of the test were online. If you follow her reviews you'll pass the class. The final was pretty tough but that was because I was expecting her test. But over all you can make a great grade in this class!!!

Online Class, May minimester. 3 tests & 3 homework & final in 3 weeks. She drops 1 test grade, so if you do ok on the first 2, then you should pass. The third test is very difficult but if you do well on the 1st two then you don't have to take the 3rd (hard) test! Taking Stats in 3 weeks is awesome, but you do need excel skills; I recommend her.

I was so worried with about this class because I really struggle in math. But if you want to pass you have to do the hw! Its a lot of hw, but she's always in her office happy to answer any questions. The way I made a B was to study like crazy, do the hw, ask her for help, and I got a tutor. It may sound like a lot, but just try and don't drop!

OMG, this professor is FREAKING AMAZING!!!!!!!! Dr. Jegdic is the best teacher that I have ever had. Her lectures in statistics are so easy to understand. She lays in out in a very detailed and organized manner that almost follows the book format but it is so easy to understand. Seriously, take notes and you will do fine.

Took this class while working 50 hours a week after attempting this course and 1301 thrice before. I passed with a C, the class is very doable but you have to do your homework, a lot of it is teaching it to yourself but the textbook videos help tremendously. You have all the tools to pass you just have to commit yourself as it is an undertaking.

Great professor. I took finite math online. Everything is on mymathlab and is easy to navigate. She is responsive to any questions you have and answered my emails quickly. The coursework isn't bad; it is self-taught and you have to read the textbook. It was my first online class so I slacked a little bit and ended up with a B. Take her!

She is honestly one of the best math professors I have ever taken. Exams are not multiple choice and you cannot use your graphic calculator during exam, gives lots of homework but I enjoyed her lectures. She does give extra credit .If you work really hard and remember the rules and formulas you'll do fine.

I took her for Linear Algebra and Probability & Statistics. Her lectures and notes are very clear to understand and helpful. She does assign a lot of HW but it's for your benefit as it helps with understanding the material. I took Linear algebra with another teacher before and failed it was night and day with Prof. Jegdic.

Took her for stats 3309, her lectures are so clear! Study the review and you are for sure to pass the exams! (3 exams she drops the lowest grade). She also offers alot of extra credit, one of the best math professors ever. TAKE HER!!!

Her lessons are clear & to the point. Study the exam material she posts on Blackboard & do StatsLab hw for your benefit. There is also a Stats Lab in academic bldg if you need extra help. She does go over material pretty fast, so get there on time & take notes. She is willing to meet you during office hours if you need help. Good reputation!

I took College Algebra while on vacation in Italy... which was probably a mistake but I still ended up passing the class. Very good Professor overall. She was timely in her responses back to me regarding any questions I had. She also provided a good review for the final exam.

She's amazing and possibly the best Math professor at UHD. Extremely nice, helpful and truly cares about her students. Her lecture is very clear with step-by-step explanations. I was a Math major but had to change to Business because the other Math professors at UHD didn't keep me interested. I wish she was at UHD sooner. TAKE HER IF YOU CAN!!!

Jedgic is nice and answered my questions quickly and efficiently. There is hw for each chapter and a quiz 3 tests but the lowest is dropped. I suggest doing the study plan questions bc they are what the tests are made of. She does offer extra credit if you ask her. Overall she is a good professor that wants you to pass. There is also a final review

Take her! I had her for Math 1306 and her lectures are easy to follow she knows her stuff very well! she gives extra credit on exams and of course you have homework on my math lab. If you know you struggle with math I highly recommend her.

Took her for STAT3309. The only thing I did not like about this class was you have to pass the final with a 50+ to PASS THE CLASS, otherwise you have to take an extra course. She responds back so quickly. Also posts videos and goes over some of the problems similar to the homework. Would definitely take her again if I could.

Took summer class online. Lots of HW, as expected from Stats. She is a great professor, responds to emails quickly, and very helpful. The min grade of 50 on final is Stat Department policy, NOT her policy. 3 exams plus final. If you Ace all other exams and get 50 on final you will pass with a B or higher. I would take her again and I do recommend.

Took her for Summer III. 3 tests and hw on MyStat Lab. She posts a video for the final review which helped a lot. Learn the calculator tricks on how to do the hw and apply yourself and this c lass will be easy! Must get a 50 or higher on final to pass class. Ace your tests and hw and pass final with at least a 50 and you'll be good!

I have had this professor before for business calc so I honestly believe she is one of the best and would take her again. A lot of homework due every week. If you know how to use a TI-84, this class should be an easy A. MAKE SURE you dedicate some time to this class. Can't do all the work in one day. 30 question final.

shes very patient and her lectures are clear. If you do the exam reviews you shouldnt have any issues on the test. Some of the problems are repeated. Homework on my math lab. Study a lot and take good notes. She gives you feedback if you ask her. She welcomes questions and participation.

Professor Jegdic makes sure you understand, shell ask students if they have any questions. There are 3 tests of 15 questions each and a Final. Homework is on my math lab, easy 100 if you follow the examples. Plenty of opportunities for extra credit too. She always replied to my emails in a timely manner. Definitely recommend her.

I love this professor! Show up to class and pay attention, math can be a tough subject but if you practice your notes you should be ok. She posts exam reviews which are non mandatory but the tests are very similar. Very manageable class if you listen and study.

Dr. Jegdic does not get enough credit! She is kind and cares about her students. Homework is on my math lab, not a lot of sections and 3 tests + 1 final. She gave extra credit before every test. Shes very acessible outside of class.

The class is simple, she organizes it well and is a real team player. Lots of homework so it takes a little time but tests are easy. The only "difficult" part is that you have to make at least a 50 on the final to pass the class but I mean... come on now. If you can't make a 50 on an exam then I don't know what to tell you.

I'm terrible at math, but managed to get an A in this class (first A i've ever received in any math course). I worked really hard and spent hours completing the HW. Definitely get Chegg , it really helps and attend SI session! As long as you do well on the exams and final (on pearson no lockdown browser). Also the professor is super helpful!

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. Took her online course for summer 1. Got an A in the class. Every assignment and test is located on mymathlab/pearson so that makes things extremely convenient. There's no way you should fail this class. Around 17 assignments/homework, 3 exams, 1 final.

As long as you study and do all of the assignments given, you should get an A. She gives out a bunch of resources in blackboard to be successful!

class is easy. uses mystatlab. post videos on blackboard and are well explained so you don't really need to read the textbook online. exams are not too difficult.

Online class w/hw on MSL & recorded lecture in BB. Lectures are extremely helpful. Math online can be hard, but Prof Jegdic is informative & focuses on getting the main concepts down. HW on MSL allows for explanations & multiple tries. 2 Exams, 1 Final (cum), 1 Excel Proj. The class material was not designed to be difficult, so don't over think.

She provides a calendar for due dates. Dont miss it. There are no make ups or late work accepted. Everything is in BB and my stat lab for hw and exam. One excel project. Hw is multiple tries and she has recorded lectures that are helpful.

only bad thing is the millions of homeworks on pearson. the rest is easy 30% hW 30% (3tests) 30% final(which you have to pass with 50% or above to pass the class, 10% project(easy)she has videos explaining problems. she recycles ?s from HW to tests to final. Easy A just dnt fall behind on HW.

Hands down the best lecture videos in statistics, she made it clear and easy to understand. Statistics is definitely a lot of work no matter who you take, but Professor Jegdic is a great teacher, she really tries to make sure you understand the material.

Awesome professor. Highly recommended! Lectures are easy to understand and homework is pretty toned down, but not light. Although she does grade tough, she gives a lot of partial credit if you get the process right.

It is alot of information to learn in her class, from the first minute to the last minute of constant teaching and explaining. She loves questions and explains very well. Her test grading is very different so just practice and show your work so she knows you get the concept.

Words cannot explain how incredibly AMAZING this teacher is! I was very nervous about taking calculus, because prior to this class, I was not very strong in calculus. Dr. Jegdic teaches and explains the content so thoroughly in such a way that makes it easy to grasp the concepts. She is kind, caring, and readily available to answer questions. A+!

Professor Jegdic was great. She was organized, helpful, and responsive. We had homework each week through mathlab w/ Pearson and we had three exams, and one final. Overall, class was great and not too difficult. Please be sure to study for her final exam, as you do need to make at least a 50 to pass the whole class even if all other grades are A's.

Attend all lectures, pay attention and DO THE WORK ! i missed out on these 3 aspects for the first 3 weeks and i was failing, i asked the professor if i can change this and she did really help out through the class extra credits and Exams. Make sure you practice your MATH !

Easiest online class I've taken! 2-3 mystatlab assignments each week but would extend the due date sometimes. Open note tests (10 questions), except for the final which needs to be taken at a testing center. She posted very helpful lectures (some are an hour long) but she explained everything clearly.

Solid professor, class structure very organized. She often gives extensions on homework so don't be afraid to ask. She has good lectures and the tests are honestly pretty easy compared to the homework. It's like the homework is more difficult than the tests.

Best professor in UHD by far. I took Cal 1 with her. She made Calculus looks easy. She's very organized and explains lectures very well. She also gives out extra credit for every exams. Even if you missed the hws, just email her and she will extend the deadline. The only downside is she doesn't allow calculators in exams.

Just make sure that you attend all her classes, you will get an A if you listen the classes.

If a course is being offered by her, just take it!!

Awesome & excellent professor. Her enthusiasm for the topic and teaching is inspiring. The course contents are taught in depth and cover all fundamentals along with highlights on many advanced concepts in machine learning. She encourages active participation. Decent online stat class. Professor's videos are lengthy but very clear. Lots of homework, but manageable with Unstuck AI to supplement study prep. Final exam is crucial, so be sure to prepare well.

Her lectures are amazing. Participate and ask questions and she will take time to answer them. Review questions are the same as on the exam. Very caring and passionate professor. There is a homework assignment during each unit (ex. 4.1HW 4.2HW). She will go over similar questions on the HW during class. I highly recommend her.

Dr, Jegdic is an amazing professor! The in-class lectures could not be more straight foward. She uses a white board to go over concepts of what the section will be about and proceeds to work through homework problems on the board. She is always open to answer questions in-class, encourages students to email her for extra help.

Class uses Pearson and is straightforward. Took her in summer do at least one assignment a day or you'll fall behind (if doing summer session we covered 3-4 chapters a week). Lecture videos are a bit long since she explains in detail. Very helpful and responds to emails quickly. Stay consistent and you'll do well! Final exam is important!
