Good teacher, very accessible.

I took her for intro to computers. It really was an easy class. You will definately need the book. Work is easy just time consuming. She is very helpful if you have any problems. There is no late work in the class however.

Prof made assisments clear. Graded assisments in a timley fair manner. I once had a proplem with my test not going through. I emailed her and she got back to me in a timely manner and gave me helpful instructions on what to do.

Mrs. Burkes was a great teacher. I took her online class, and her instructions are very clear. I was even sick for a week and she gave me extra time to make up my work and do the quizes! I would definitely recommend her! :)

It was an easy class, if you log on regularly and do the assignments (which are pretty easy) you'll make an A. The tests are especially easy becuase they're just like the quizzes. Good class to take.

This class was harder than I thought it would be. Took it online, requires about 5 hours a week.

She was great when she took over the class she did with fire and determinaation and made us feel that we could count on her.

I found this online class useful and convienent considering I work FT late night. Directions for classwork was very clear and when I did hit a snag in my homework she was very helpful. If you follow instructions and can meet on time deadlines for having work turned in I recommend this instructor. She expects you to be punctual but she is fair.

I found the exams to picky for my liking, the program would count my explorations to find the correct answer as 'incorrect', reducing my opportunity to do well.

A wonderful professor! this was an online class. Any questions or emails were promptly and helpful. This class requires a great deal of time to complete the assignments, discussions, etc. I appreciated that Dr. Burkes allowed you to work ahead on all assignments, quizzes, and discussions.

Dr. Burkes gives a full syllabus of requirements at beginning of class so that you know what is due on a weekly basis and you can work ahead if you want. Dr. Burkes is great! She's always helpful and keeps in communication. Be sure to get the work done early and don't wait until the last minute! Some projects are very large. I learned a great deal!

I took her course online it was great. She responds promptly and her instructions are laid out easy and perfectly every time. Easy discussions and step by step what to do in the book. If you can follow directions and turn in your work you can pass no problem!

I took this class online, and it's pretty easy. Each week you have a quiz over the work you did. You have to use the book every week to follow the step by step instructions. Do the work and it's an easy A.

Dr. Burkes provided the most clear-cut syllabus I've seen. It has a very detailed and well-executed schedule of due dates for assignments. There is no way you can misunderstand what is required. The assignments are lengthy, but I learned a lot and an email was generated to the class that explained the week's requirements with help offered always

Class was fairly easy as long as you do the homework, you will pass the class. All homework is straight out of the textbook and you follow the directions word for word.

Dr. Burkes' class was my 1st online class. She definitely gave me a good first impression of online classes. She laid out every detail of the course from the very beginning & everything was very clear in the syllabus! She was great at getting grades in fast & quick to reply to any questions. Loved her! This was my very first online class ever and I was really nervous but Professor Burkes makes her online class really easy to follow. She allows you to work ahead and she's quick to respond to any questions. Just do your work and you will pass! I definitely recommend taking her for CISQ!

Easily one of the best teachers of all time. Clear outline of what's expected of you, not too much homework, and you can learn anywhere from minimal information just to pass to extensive with a desire to know more.

Dr. Burkes is a great professor. I was really worried as I took this as an online class. It's very hands on, but because it was an online class it was up to me to figure things out, although Dr. Burkes was readily available via email which greatly helped. I would definitely take other classes offered by her. Highly recommend.
