Shes awesome! Very funny and keeps things interesting. Practice practice practice, she'll beat things into your brain but it helps!

Great professor. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I learned a lot from her lectures. I only wish I had her for BI 121 as well, I would have learned so much more.

She is very nice and will help you if you have any questions. All of the test questions come from her notes, and the book is never used. I take studying seriously, and received 83% on the first test. She asks ridiculous questions. If you want a professor that asks textbook-recall type of questions, this is not the professor for you.

Kate is an amazingly gifted professor! She teaches unlike any other - she lats info out in logical steps that bring you to the answers, and Kate has silly ways to beat information into your brain - very effective! Tests are very hard, but only if you don't pay attention. Provides notes to class, which are used on tests. Excellent exerience!

I had her just for lab & she mostly let us work on our own while she walked around & helped us. It was nice to work at my own pace, but had to do a lot of looking things up on my own at home. She is really enthusiastic and was good at giving individual help as needed in class

Kate was an awesome teacher. I will say I failed the firsttest but she was understanding and helpful. I ended up with an A-. I underestimated how much I had to study but If you stick to her notes and know that info you will get an A. I only used the book for pictures so that was quite a waste of money. Don't waste your time reading every chapter.

BEST prof I've ever had. Makes difficult concepts a breeze to comprehend with her wonderful and quirky explanations. She's a tiny Asian lady with a personality tipple her size. Funny. Happy. Passionate. Helpful. Has answers to almost any question. ALL of the exam questions are taken from her typed lecture notes, and all you have to do is STUDY.

Kate is an example of what all teachers should be! I was genuinely excited to go to class and enjoyed her constant humor. The content is very difficult and you are wasting your blessing of having Kate teach it to you if you don't put your time in to study it. Book is NOT used, just her lecture outlines. (Very helpful!)

Kate was the best teacher I've had so far. She is willing to sit down and help anyone who is struggling and wants the help. She makes things clear as to what she's expecting and her tests stick to what was learned in class. Best teacher if you have the chance to be in her class don't pass it up!!

This was my absolute favorite class out of my two years at GRCC. She was so passionate about what she teaches and made it very interesting and comical. Her tests were on her notes and she gives HUGE hints on what the majority of the exam will be on. FANTASTIC PROFESSOR I recommend her to everyone! She also loves to make fun of cats.

A&P is a tough subject but with Prof. Kryger you actually LEARN material and won't just memorize. Makes things easy to understand & is hilarious. Purchase a good quality voice recorder to use during class & study a little everyday. Doing this, I managed to get 100% on every exam (final too!) while working FT & raising kids. Will take again!

Kate is a GREAT teacher. By far my favorite teacher. It's a hard class, but if you study her notes than you will be fine. This was my second time taking the class and I passed with ease. She is a fair grader and will work with you if you need help. But you have to study.

I had her for Lab and she was awesome! The material is tough, so you have to study. But, she takes time to answer your questions and wants you to do well!

Wow! Prof Kate is amazing! Just had her this summer for a 10 week course (Mon-Fri). The class wasn't easy and I had to study. But, micro was my best and most favorite class thus far; and it's because prof. kate motivated me and individually worked with me to be successful in the course. I absolutely loved going to class everyday. I will miss it!

Proff kate is wonderful! She does everything she can do to make class more interesting amd and i reallly appreciate her jokes and her efforts. Professor Kryger is a phenomenal teacher, one of the best I've had! She very much teaches in a way that helps you logic through the material (and use common sense) instead of just memorizing terms. Her lecture outlines are gold, that's what she tests off (I didn't use the book at all). She's very fair and wants her students to succeed!

Professor Kate Kryger was simply amazing. I took her for Microbiology in the summer and she really made the few weeks worthwhile. She is clear and concise about what you need to know. Her lectures are wonderful, there is never a dull moment. Her exams are based straight from the notes that she gives you. I found her humor very cute and quirky. :)

This is a study heavy course. It just is. Kate is down to earth, honest, and genuinely cares about whether her students understand the material. She did a great job of connecting different subjects in ways that made sense, and is full of useful study tips. FOLLOW HER OUTLINES! Most if not all the material on her exams can be found there.

I thought I sucked at science. Then, I took Prof Kate's class. Kate broke down the words and told us what they meant. She explained the material in a way that was relatable. And she worked one-on-one with me and taught me how to study. Now I love science! And I can't wait to take this prof for BI 122 in the fall.

I went into this class expecting that I would struggle to pass. Kate has changed my entire outlook on science and my own abilities to learn and thrive in the medical field. She is humorous and willing to help you better understand the material. She makes lecture outlines for every unit, so notes are super easy to take. All exams were multiple choice too. Anatomy and Physiology is a tough class in itself, just study a lot and attend lectures, and you'll pass.

She is extremely laid back and both passionate and knowledgeable about her fields of study. The study guides/outlines are extremely helpful for the tests, as all the information assessed is included in the guide. She has really nice powerpoints with tons of examples and lots of great ways to get you to remember the material.

Kate is awesome! She is honestly one of the best professors I have ever had. She explains material clearly and always uses fun examples to help you remember what you're learning. She cares about her students and makes sure that everyone is clear on the subject. She's also hilarious and her outlines/videos are great! I honestly hate missing class.

Kate is the BEST instructor I've had a GRCC. She is organized, clear in expectations, happy, funny, kind, and organized. Totally tests out of her lecture outlines and the information that we learn in class. Don't expect an easy A. She does expect you to sincerely wants you to understand the material. I hope to get her in BI 122 and BI 127.

By far my favorite professor at GRCC. I had her for BI 121 and BI 127 and really enjoyed both classes. She is very specific about what will be on the tests and what will not be on the tests. Very understanding and does not rush. Always willing to help and very easy to talk to. I would definitely 100% recommend this professor for BI 121 or BI 127!

Absolutely wonderful Professor. She makes A P very easy to understand. Most professors crack jokes while I sit in class with a straight face, Professor Kryger will make you laugh no matter what. She drops nearly 8 questions a test and her questions are usually straight in your face obvious. STUDY THE OUTLINES RELIGIOUSLY and it should be an easy A

Just finished the first week of the summer course. The two hour lectures just fly by. I cant believe I actually look forward to coming to a late night lecture. Fantastic instructor!

I was a part of Professor Krygers summer class for BI 121. The only graded things were the 4 exams we took because of it being a 7 week course. Her exams were directly over her lecture outlines and as long as you studied those you are good to go. She is by far my favorite professor so far. Very positive and a great professor!!

Hilarious! A&P isn't an easy class but she makes you want to learn and love it! I love Kate!!!

I didnt appreciate her as much as a I should have until I took BI 122. I was so well prepared for BI 122, that class actually seemed easier. I also appreciate her lecturing style, lecture outlines that were given to us and her approachability.

SHE IS AMAZING. Her lecture outlines are KEY for preparing and doing well on the exams. No need for a book, her outlines provides all the information you need. She also incorporates and helps greatly with any LAB difficulties you may have. I found recording her lectures (sound only) was a HUGE help and made me successful. If you can, TAKE KATE!

Kate was amazing! she took you step by step through the notes instead of throwing everything at you all at once. Very open to questions throughout the lecture and went right from her notes that she lets you print out. 10/10 would definitely recommend her!!

So great! BI 121 is difficult but she makes the class so enjoyable and interesting. She's detailed, organized, caring, and approachable. On top of all of that she's one of the funniest people ever! Study and ask questions, she cares deeply about the subject and student success :)

I thought Id hate micro. But I love it. I have Kate for lecture and lab. Shes funny, fair, very organized, and interesting. Lab is fun, laidback and very hands on. Lecture is surprisingly enjoyable and extremely interesting. You can tell that this prof loves her job. Her enthusiasm for microbes is contagious.

Kate is awesome!! She went out of her way to help me because of the lack of help or instruction I received from my lab prof. She always asked how I was doing and actually took the time to help even when she didnt have to. She is very kind and her lectures are never dull! Shes a gem! She was a phenomenal professor!

She really makes Microbiology fun with her good humor and helpful ways to understand the material. Make sure to keep all your notes for the final exam.

Professor Kyger makes BI121 so easy to learn! Her note outlines are the best and makes class so much easier to follow! If u miss class, all the notes are in the outline. But i don't recommend missing class. Shes very smart and makes her lectures fun! I would definitely have her again as a professor! Her grading system is very fair and thought out.

This microbiology class was somewhat difficult, but only because the material was over my head at times. Kate did a really nice job making the class fun and letting us know exactly what we need to know for the tests. She lays out all the information we need to know in her notes and lectures. It's up to the individual to study it. Overall loved her.

I had her for BI127 LEC. She is an excellent professor. I would recommend her to anyone. She is clear and direct about her expectations. Makes the class interesting. Cares about students and will help you if you are struggling. I will definitely be taking her again for other classes if possible. Her notes are very helpful and organized. A+ from me!

Professor Kryger is so good at what she does! Her lectures were always interesting and she teaches straight from her notes, which she uses in place of the book. There is no homework, only tests. She always gave us a little break halfway through the class, and broke down every exam ahead of time so we knew what to focus on while studying. Loved her!

She actually cares the you understand the material, her exams are straight forward and she does great in teaching the concepts that you have to know for the class. Definitely recommend. I actually learned in the class

I wish I would've put more effort into the class because she really does make it easy to get an A. Just pay attention, participate in group activities, and talk to her. She will explain anything you don't get

Downside is you dont get to see your tests at all, so you dont know what you got wrong! My bi-121 prof handed them back for review the very next class. Another downside is you take test 4 with the final! Otherwise shes a great prof!

Im retaking BI 121 this semester. Kate is so much better than my previous instructor. I understand the material way better now. She teaches in a way that relates science to every day life. Also, Kate is absolutely hilarious. You never know what shes going to say.

She's literally one of the best professors you can have. Her tests aren't stressful at all, her notes are easy to understand, and she always makes diagrams to help people better understand processes. I had Forbes for BI121 and it was so hard. I was worried about BI122, but she makes it so much easier. This is how the class should be taught

INCREDIBLE professor. She creates outlines of the notes so that you can follow along during lectures. She uses great analogies and examples and understands that she is teaching info that is new to the students (ie, she will dumb it down for you). If many students struggle with an answer on an exam, she will omit that question. Great professor.

Focuses entirely on her note outlines which are super thorough. Take good notes and pay attention to the videos it's all in there. It took all semester to figure out tests but ended with an A. Questions can be tricky, go with your gut/re read notes before exams. She has great insights, super passionate about the field, and fun real life tie ins. A+

My favorite professor by far. Entertaining lectures and thorough outlines. She's very passionate about what she does and it shows. I was never a fan of science but she makes it understandable for me. Would love to have her again.

Loved Professor Kryger! She brings a lot of humor into her lectures and breaks them up so they aren't as long and gets down to the main points right away. Never had any assignments or quizzes and exams were based all off of notes. Stay on top of notes and study a little each day and you'll be golden!

Prof. Kate was amazing throughout the whole semester. She teaches off of her lectures &the information is clearly presented. The tests &quizzes are all based off what was covered so there's no suprise questions. I know w/ the virus it was a challenge for online classes, but she made it super easy cessable. Would take her for every class if possible

I've had Kate three semesters in a row just because I liked her so much. Took BI121, BI127, and I'm all signed up for her next semester for BI122. Her lectures are pretty much having you fill in the blanks for your study guides. ALOT of information but Kate does what she can to make it engaging. I do really miss her in person classes but she isgood

LOVED Prof. Kryger. Took her BI 122 as well. You absolutely have to work & scrape by for every point but I'd take her for everything if I could. Super engaging, funny, down to earth examples, etc. Definitely need to watch all the lecture videos & pay very close attention to the notes b.c exam questions are very deep - you have to know your stuff!

Incredible professor, I had her both online and in person. She translates everything into laymans terms and comes up with hilarious ways to remember things. She only gives 4 exams and no homework. Her exams were well-written multiple choice and she would often give hints in the questions to help you remember the answer.

Kate Kryger is an amazing prof and so funny! I absolutely love the lecture outlines she gives us. SO MUCH BETTER THAN A POWERPOINT LOL. But A&P is ROUGH get ready to study your a-off. Prof Kryger is tough, but fair. This is not an easy class. You have to work hard to succeed. If you put in the work - it is absolutely doable to pass on the first attempt. She breaks her lectures up into smaller segments which keep your attention. She gives outlines from info she takes from the book and tests on that only. Also, she's hilarious.

I had Prof. Kryger for lecture and lab. Her lectures are hilarious and she makes them fun so you remember the content. Only con is that she does not respond quickly or at all to emails. Although, everything is organized well and her lecture content is exactly whats on the exam.

I would advise you take her in person. Online format doesn't seem to be her strong suite as she rarely responds to emails and grades on too little things. I only give her a 4/5 because the only way we got our BI127 lecture grades was through 4 exams and a small tutoring assignment. Otherwise, she's awesome! And hilarious.

Kate is an amazing person, but not so much an amazing online prof. In online 127 it is only graded on 4 exams and a BLC meet. Her class is set up nicely but there is always so much material covered on her 70+ ? exams (all mc ? on lockdown browser). I also had her for BI122 lab and she was an excellent prof in person. Does NOT respond to emails.

Seriously loved this professor! She always had a super encouraging, upbeat attitude and was always willing to help with whatever questions we had. Highly recommend!

Great professor! She is helpful and keeps things interesting throughout the entire semester. She cares a lot about how you're doing and has great ways to help you memorize the content. A lot of the work is group work, she can grade pretty toughly. She's not the greatest at replying to emails, so if you need to reach her it's best to do it in class.

Professor Kryger is an excellent professor! Although the content was challenging, she provided clarity and told us what we needed to study for exams. She frequently asked how we were doing, took the entire class into account, and was always understanding. It's evident she cares about her students and wants them to succeed! I will miss her class.

Love love her. She really understanding and loves her job. Her entire online lecture is graded off 4 exams based on very easy-to-understand video lectures with great outlines to follow, as long as u follow the outline and take notes, it's hard to fail. Also, have her for lab and I've never enjoyed a class more.

She is awesome 10/10 ! Although she throws a lot of information, she truly cares about every student and wants you to pass. She's hilarious and teaching in a fun way. Definitely would recommend to anyone but be prepared for lots of notes to study.

She truly cares about her students success and wants you to succeed. Unlike other courses, I learned so much instead of just memorizing. Grading is very fair as well!

Professor Kryger was truly amazing, she was so kind & she tried her best to make you feel good. Before exams she always reassured us we would be okay & if we did not do well it would be okay too. She was so kind, she really cares about her students & she makes sure that everyone understands she is truly amazing.

She was a really nice professor. Your grade is based on two 5 point assignments at the beginning and then 4 exam grades which are 80-100 questions each. She does give back points for questions bad questions on the exams at the end. She was nice just not much to do to help your grade if you are not doing well. Be ready to study!!!!

Fairly straight forward. professor does a good job explaining the information. Would be hard to get an A without showing up to class, but still probably doable. Exams are based. Study the material and you'll be fine.

Kate is such a great Prof! I had her for lecture online, all of the video's she posted were helpful and easy to understand. In the online course you are only graded on your exams and then maybe one or two other little assignments. Her exams are on lock down browser, she gives points back at end of semester on questions everyone collectively missed.

Professor Kryger is an engaging and caring instructor. She explains complex topics clearly and makes the material enjoyable. Using Unstuck study and the free textbook helped me excel in this challenging yet rewarding course. Definitely take her class if you can!

I can see why she is highly rated. Definitely wants her students to succeed. She's very positive in the classroom. The only reason I did 4 stars and not 5 was because she does not respond to emails and while is happy to answer questions, it's clear she sees the reality that you are here for 3 months and will never be seen again. No relationships.
