Prof Alaimo was one of the kindest professors I've encountered. She's truly a sweetheart and wants every single student to pass; that being said, she's more than willing to help. She is not good at teaching. Lectures are all over the place and fast paced. She gives way too much info that doesn't even show up on the exams. I did well only because I taught myself with the learning objectives and studied them for the exams. Don't take this class if you haven't taken many classes about the human body, I found it somewhat hard.

Accused a bunch of students of "using AI" in a diet assignment. The night before grades, she messed up a bunch of students' grades. Run for your life and do NOT take her class

She accused so many people of AI without reason, then her excuse was "your writing is generic". Is it AI or generic? She emailed saying that she had a list of people that used Ai, but that she wasn't going to tell anyone. We are not mind readers. Her teaching is bad and she should feel bad.

accused a bunch of other students for using ai with no proof. Don't take this class unless it is required for your major because it is a huge waste of time. She was nice-ish but can come off kinda rude. She sped through lectures so I had to teach myself most of the material.

accused like 100 students of using ai because our writing was “generic” and threatened to give everyone an academic dishonesty report. then had us join zoom office hours to talk about it with her and I had to wait 4 hours to even get to my turn. not even joking. put everyone in a stressful situation for something she had no proof of.

Accused me of using AI and many other students for using the simple word “realistically”. I had been waiting on a zoom call to talk to her for over three and a half hours and when I finally had the chance to her talk to her at ten o'clock at night she was nothing but rude. She is so immature and acted like a brat.

Would take again

She's very traditional so she hates technology and AI, BE CAREFUL and do NOT use AI you WILL be in trouble. Tests are somewhat hard because she expects you to know everything taught in lecture. Lectures are boring but mandatory. SO much extra credit, take advantage and you will 4.0. I can see why people didn't 4.0 this class, but it's achievable.

She is very against any technology, if she assumes you use AI you will be in trouble. Poor communicator as well. In class she just lectures which can be hard to follow, on tests she expects you know everything.
