She is such a sweet person. Lots of essays, one each week. but lets you re-do them. If she sees you slacking she will go talk to you. I absolutely enjoyed the class. She even helped me on deciding which major to take.

I took her class last spring in 2013, honestly it was a class that I found understanding. The class is easy to understand as long as you show up to class. He class does help you prepare for other higher level classes at JJAY. There are a few papers but she times her papers at the right time so you really do not feel overloaded with work.

To this day, she is one of my favorite professors. She is not only helpful and so clear in explaining what needs to be done, but also lets you re-do your essays if she knows you can do better. She praises your achievements and lets you know what you need to work on to better your writing. Take her, you will not regret it.

Definitely the best English professor I have taken at JJ. Unlike others she is very fair with grading and always keep you updated with how you're doing in class. As far as the work, just show up and follow her essay layouts (which are super easy). She is also willing to write a letter of recommendation which come in handy! (wrote one for me)

Arnoldi is great! One of the most kind and helpful professors I know. The class is relatively easy, you would be a fool to fail. Put effort into the class, do your assignments (not that many) and of course go to class and involve seldomly, at least. Grading is a point system basically so higher the points, higher the grade.

I realized that English may not be an interesting class for many. However, she seeks to make the class more engaging by incorporating global issues into her lectures. Good attendance is a must. She is very sweet. You will receive a very overwhelming looking syllabus for the semester. Just bring your syllabus with you to class and do your work!

Time could be spent a bit better during class time. She assigns mostly papers and barely any tests, nothing intense. Her background is quite interesting, she shared it at the end of the semester and was very inspiring. Over-all an easy class.

For this class you will not need a textbook, maybe a few readings here and there, but other than that you'll be fine. Her whole class leads up to a 10 page research paper. Take the scholarship application essay seriously. I thought that there is no way that I would win anything but I was completely wrong so far I have won 1,000 with Arnoldi's help. I took this class just for my gen ed requirement. But Professor. Arnoldi has a way of teaching that I really enjoy. Although her class is very paper writing heavy, she will let you resubmit papers for the best grade and is pretty understanding with deadlines. Additionally, she is one of the few professor that don't cause a fuss if you take you child to class as long as the class can still learn, really helpful for single mothers who are students.

This is a great professor if you like a straightforward class that is based on just following the given instructions. The course was not too assignment heavy and there were minimal essays. There is an e-digication but she is very liberal with grading. She also pushes you to apply for scholarships which a lot of professors do not.
