This professor is a lot of fun. She really takes the time to get to know her students and she will walk you through any concept untill you get it. The class as a whole didn't do well on her tests, but if you do the work she assigns, and study even just a little, you will pass. She grades on the curve. I always thought I was throughing her curve off

professor oses is the BOMB!!!!! the class was mad easy. the quizzes are take home and she give a study guides for every test that you have to take. if you have a 85 by the end of the semester you will not have to take the final. take her if you can i took her and i have a 96%. i wish all the professor at vcc were like her.

Fun class. Take this class if you want an easy A. Tests are curved and she gives you a take home review which is the same as the test. I would highly recommend her to anyone trying to raise their GPA.

EASY class. Psychology is an interesting subject already, but Prof. Oses makes it really interactive. She is a really nice teacher and is always willing to help. Her tests are easy if you do the study guides, and even easier if you pay attention in class. Very easy A, and a lot.

SERIOUSLY EASY A. she gives enormous curves on the test. if your just taking your preq. then take her but if you are majoring in psy dont you will be so lost in your future classes...

Very Hard to Fail this class. she gives study guides for tests and curves the grades so that you pass.just try to laugh at her jokes;it makes her feel better.Not very thoruogh when it comes to teaching material.Learned everything from reading the book.

I took the 3hr class on fridays. There is a test every week 20Q. She e-mails you study guide and will review before test. Then 1 short 2-3pg essay on what you choose.

Professor Oses is really nice. I had her 1:45pm to 3:45pm on Fridays & it was the easiest class I had in the Fall of 09. I loved it. It was once a week, which gave me a lot of time to get all of her work done. She's great. Take her. There's no way you could fail. Just do your work. It's that simple. I wholeheartedly recommend her!

I am currently taking this class on fridays.. Professor Oses is amazing i love her and i would highly recommend taking her class. there is a test every week.. she gives study guides and the test comes directly from the study guides no suprises.. there is one paper and if you have a B or better in the class you don't have to take the final!! TAKE HE

This teavher was GREAT! she made the class fun because she was funny always making jokes! she was far from boring! i learned a lot from this class those who said they didnt learn ..fell asleep or didnt pay attention but the material was very clear! She an awesome teacher i highly reccommend her!

Easiest class ever. She is very laid back and flexible. There is just one paper due which is extremely easy and she gives study guides for the test. If you do the study guides you will get an A. She doesn't care about absences and she lets you out early all the time. She is the best. I would recommend her if you want to get an easy A.

I personally would recommend talking Dr. Oses. Easy class. Met on Fridays from 1-3:45. test every week you will ace the test if you do the study guides. She gives you an hour or so to complete the test then she lectures for another 45 minutes and then we are done! There is also 1 3-4 page paper due! fairly simple and you get to chose the topic.

Easy teacher, understands everyone works and is busy. Any effort what so ever, you will have an A. Very knowledgeable.

LOVED this professor! Highly recommend her! She only checks attendance the first few classes and then you can pretty much attend or not attend. She gives you study guides which you have to find the answers to but they are super easy to find. And if you can't or have a question she answers it or (sometimes, not always) gives you the answer. :)

She's really nice & her class is REALLY easy. She's funny, but she's also boring. I didn't learn anything. Just study the study guide every day & you will be fine. Very nice as well.

Easy class! Tests are easy because she gives you the power point and a study guide! Only downside is there is a paper. Only one though. Keep a B or above and you dont take the final! I recommend 100%!

EASIEST PSYCHOLOGY PROFESSOR AT VALENCIA! In fact she's so easy I didn't enjoy the class. As long as you memorized your study you were good. We watched powerpoints all day in class & class was only 35 mins long when it was suppose to be 1 hr & 15 mins. I wish it was more interactive. I felt like I learned nothing. I just memorized to get by.

This class was so incredibly easy! All she does is go over powerpoints and lets the class out early. All you need to do is the study guides and you'll pass the tests. I felt like I didn't learn anything, but at least it was an easy class. She's a nice person too.

Super easy and helpful. She realizes her classes are mostly a requirement for many majors so she just tries to give you an overview. I am a psych major and really wish she taught more classes because she really knows her S***!

Awesome teacher, very clear with teaching the subject. No homework but study guides, your not required to do them but it makes sense to do them cause everything thats on there is on the test. Tests are really easy, no homework only one paper (1,000 words) and she drops lowest test grade if you take final. TAKE HER ! :)

She is an amazing teacher! Her tests are fair and she only tests on what she puts on the study guides :) No homework, she teaches by power point and is very patient. She will explain anything in depth as long as you ask :) Take heeerrrr!!

She's awesome. She's aware that many students are there because they have to, not because they are interested in Psychology, so she goes easy on them... ASK QUESTIONS, and she'll go deeper on the subjects. Easy tests, but you have to go over the Study Guide. Easy A, in a very interesting class. Loved it!

This teacher is a great instructor. She does go off the subject at time, but she is extremely knowledgeable on her field. She gives every opportunity to ask questions and she wants to make sure that you understand the material. Tests are right off the study guides.

Professor Oses is great! She seems very knowledgable about the subject. She gives a study guide before each test and the tests are very easy as long as you study. There was only 1 paper about a study of our choice. Her class is very interesting and an easy A!

Great Professor. 5-6 50 questions multiple choice tests. Gives study guides- no need to read chapters, just do study guide. Final exam optional. 1 research paper, pretty straight forward. Watch videos entire class and have no HW. Really Easy Professor, take her and you will actually learn something!

Professor Oses is not a very good professor. Her class is very easy though. She gives a study guide that has the exact terms you need to know for the test. She does not teach, speeds through powerpoints and shows lots of videos. 1 Paper that must talk about 2 different studies. Got an A in the class.

At first I hated this class, but I ended up liking it and I am taking Developmental Psychology next semester. No quizes or homework but 5-6 test. give study guides and one big paper. YOU MUST STUDYUNDERSTAND concepts to past test, but she makes them understandable. The last paper is okay, give plenty of help and time to complete. TAKE HER

For general psychology there are only 5, yes only 5, grades. 4 tests and a paper towards the end on ANY psychology topic you want. Make sure you know APA, and she does give a few extra credit assignments here and there, but mainly focus on the 5 main assignments.

I absolutely loved Professor Oses, she knows exactly what she is teaching and pours herself into her lectures. Each class period is a lecture and tests afterwards, no homework otherwise. One research paper was due for General Psych about any topic of your choice relating. She's funny and loves her job and students, taking her again next semester!

I took Prof. Oses during fall and it was the easiest course ever. Never read the book, opened it only during tests. Every week you finish 1 assignment per chapter and most of the test questions are from these assignments. She has only 3 tests. Psychology is not easy, but her online class is definitely an easy A.

Katherine Oses is a very great teacher. It's a very easy class as long as you read & study for the quizzes and tests. It's a lot of reading! Her online class is very easy and I would recommend it. Just do your weekly assignments and the research paper and I guarantee you will pass the class.

I love Professor Oses! I took her for both general and developmental psychology. Got an A in both. Only 4 tests and a paper in both classes. Do her study guides and you will get an A. Plays interesting and fun videos that engage students almost every class. Take her you wont regret it!

Profesor Oses is extremely likable and knowledgeable in her field. Her class is relatively easy, if you study her study guides you will easily get an A. There is only one paper due in that class and is extremely open and simple. All in All she is extremely funny, and an easy A

She responds to your emails fairly quickly and is an easy grader on discussion posts. Just know that their are a lot of terms to know so reading the textbook is a must. The powerpoints are kind of pointless and you won't pass by just reading the powerpoints. Read thoroughly and use the study modules and you'll be golden.

Took class online & was a pretty easy A. There was a chapter each week with a quiz, and exams were for every 2-3 chapters timed. Only 2 papers! I spent a couple hours each week to read the chapter, complete the assignment, and take the quiz. Reading is mandatory & I did not use PPs at all. Nice lady & responds quickly to emails.

Great teacher. Didn't use textbook once (besides on a short answers question) and still got a B. She posts study guide at beginning which will tell you what terms you should pay attention too when she has her lectures. She goes on tangents sometimes but that keeps the class from getting to boring. Follow the study guide and you should be fine.

She's an awesome teacher! I would definitely recommend to take her, her workload is somewhat lenient so it really allows time to breathe and work on other classes. It was hard for me to communicate with her though, but there isn't much communication needed for her class.

I took Dr. Oses for Spring and she's funny and open with her class and her opinions. As long as you show up to class for a majority of the time she doesn't really care if you show up but it's recommended that you do for the four tests you have, study and you'll pass. Only 2 papers and you'll pretty much breeze through with her study guides as well

Come to class , listen, study and youll pass . Never any class assignments . Only two homework assignments

Dr. Oses is an amazing professor. Her lectures are PowerPoint based which can be accessed at home also. Tests are difficult if you don't study as much as you should. Overall her class is great and extra credit opportunities are also available, so take advantage of all of them. It will all pay off at the end.

Prof. Oses is definitely a little crazy, but in the best way possible. She drinks coffee like most people drink water so she can be a little intense in the AM, but I still had a blast. She does review days that tell you almost word for word what's going to be on the test. If you show up to class and study, you will pass this class easily.

Very easy to pass this class. She gives study guides that coincide with her tests. Make flashcards and you'll get an A. Passed with 105.

No actual homework assignments just quizzes and exams just study and youll pass.

She hilarious and the ONLY way to fail this class is to not study. The grades are only the 4 exams and a written paper. she has like five different options for extra credit and she literally gives you the questions on the exams by going over the study guide The answers for exams are stright from the textbook. SO EASY. i got a 99% in this class.

okay to be honest, during her 2:30 class she tended to go on VERY LONG tangents about absolutely nothing which made you not want to show up. however, her class is so easy. just show up for free points. four exams, no homework, one written online paper. dont even need the book, she posts powerpoints.

also she goes over the study guides for each test which is basically the answers and a bunch of opportunities for extra credit.

her class is pretty easy. there were no assignments just the 4 exams and 1 500 word paper. If u do well teaching yourself then I'd say go for her. her lectures are okay most of the time she has an endless conversation about something that has nothing to do with the work. but tests are easy and straight from her powerpoints. NO BOOK needed.

YOU DO NOT NEED THE BOOK. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. She has powerpoints and if you take her in person, just bring a flash drive to download the book as a pdf!

Super easy. Took online class. You just do the "flashcard" assignment (which is basically a study guide for the quizzes and exams), a quiz, and exam for each chapter. The exams usually combine like 2 chapters. Super easy A and she is very nice! you get multiple attemps for quizzes and i think 2 attempts for the exams if im not mistaken.

This class is an easy A, I took it online for the fall semester and barely did much for the class and still received an A!

In her online format, Professor Oses steps back and lets you work at your pace (and the assignments are really easy, too). I found this awesome. During the pandemic this year she sent tons of words of affirmation which was super sweet! She is available all the time and I disagree with anyone who says she takes forever to get back to you.

An experienced teacher. As far as the course is concerned, she provides the foundation on which the students build. In order words, she helps the students navigate the difficult and challenging aspects of the course, then set the students on sail. A very benign teacher with a cheerful demeanor. Professor Oses made her exams very cut and dry. If you complete the study guide and use that, you will definitely pass the class. There is no homework and one paper. Overall, she makes the class very easy and she is experienced in what she teaches. She makes lectures interesting and gives extra credit.

TAKE HER, ALL of her assignments are worth a lot 100-600, so you can literally fail 3 tests in a row & still pull your grade way up with her next 2-3 assignments she does't give lots of work so its manageable The quiz's, exams & smart books all have the same ?'s for the same chapter assignments, most quiz questions are out the textbook. Easy "A"!

The assignments prep you for the quiz and exams they have the same questions The work she gives you is very little & what need to pass her easy test that are straight forward Only 1 final which is a 500 word essay. All assignments are high on her grade scale so dont worry if you fail a few tests! Take her you will pass. great for a heavy class load

I took this class online over the summer. I must admit it is a lot of work cramped together over the summer, but she is a very approachable professor! She listened to us and extended our testing time, she extended due dates for the entire class, and she made herself available when we were concerned and asked for a meeting via zoom. She is great

One writing assignment. Textbook provided highlighted text and smart-flashcard assignment to help you learn. Tests were easy after using the flashcard system and reading the chapter through once. Professor is available and offered one extra credit opportunity. No busywork.

This class wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The textbook is very thick. Your exams will be timed so just study. There wasn't a huge need to ever contact the professor. All of your work will be on Mcgraw Hill Connect. All of this is coming from a Dual enrollment student. Its honestly an easy A. There arent any discussions. Good Luck

I received a 98 in her class and I really enjoyed it. The workload is pretty light, you get a PowerPoint that summarizes the chapter and flashcards activity that are completion grades and help you prepare for the weekly quiz. The quizzes you have you get unlimited attempts on and the exams cover 1-3 chapters and are timed(1 attempt).

Overall she was a good professor! She was nice but you wont really have much communication with her- all of the work is directly done on mcgrawhill. It is all very easy and comes straight from the book and the homework is a guaranteed 100% because you can keep doing it until you get 100- as well as read the chapter if needed. Access Code required!

Take her class! All of her assignments are through Mcgrawhill and it's a textbook assignment and one quiz each week and you have unlimited attempts on the quizzes. The workload is super manageable. Easy A. I definity recommend Professor Oses!

Every week is a smartbook assignment and quiz (30 questions) with unlimited attempts and 4 total exams. All work is done on McGraw-Hill connect and very straightforward. Overall, course has light workload and is very manageable.

learn everything yourself. calendar given by her and thats all the interaction youll have. quizzes with unlimited attempts and hw with around 100 qs on mcgrawgill. no honorlock. take her if you want an easy a but not if youre interested in psych cuz youll only have the textbook to learn from. very doable class just a little boring,

Amazing class!

You have to pay for the textbook and you get quizzes and exams. It's an easy A but you won't learn. The online textbook does have video but barely. Smartbook you will get 100%, quizzes unlimited Attempts but there's 2-3 written questions, so try to understand the concept. Exams 1 attempt and 2-3 written answers and the rest Multi choice.

I took her for 2 psych classes and I loved every second of both of them. Very nice Professor, assignments are insanely easy and the exams are a breeze because she actually teaches. If you have the opportunity take her!

She's is extremely laid back and understanding. Her class is really easy and you take the exams at home. Attendance is not mandatory and her lectures are really chill and straightforward. The assignments are also pretty long but simple to figure out.

All assignments in textbook. Sometimes questions get marked wrong so just email her. Barely talked to her but so easy just do the assignments. About 2 assignments a week that took me 30 minutes max.

Oses' class is a manageable, textbook-based online course. The workload is light, with weekly quizzes and assignments on McGraw-Hill. Unstuck AI was super helpful for quiz prep. An easy A, but limited interaction.

You should take this professor. The professor was nice and helpful. The assignments, while they may seem long, its very easy to do. You have 2-3 homework assignments, 2-3 quizzes, and 1 exam for four sections, but she gives you a month to do each assignment. You also learn a lot about psychology too.

Suuuuper easy course! Make sure to follow the assignment calendar provided and not the order the assignments are placed on canvas. Would definitely take again!

Professor Oses is amazing. The exams are a big part of your grade but not too hard if you pay attention to what is being lectured. The rest of the work has unlimited attempts so it is impossible to fail unless you just don't want to do work. Showing up to class is part of the percentage of your grade. You actually enjoy the class and psychology.

A very easy, self-taught course without Honorlock. In the 6 week summer course, there was two to three chapters a week, an assignment and quiz per chapter, and an exam for that week's chapters. There were notes provided, but I'd recommend reading the book at the same time to get all the material. Very self-taught.

Easy class. All online, self-taught, and manageable. Expect to dedicate a few hours a week to this class; each assignment can take up to an hour. It is all on McGraw-Hill and self-guided. The professor just uses to online resources provided through the textbook and sends a weekly email out. One extra credit opportunity provided.

This class uses McGraw-Hill, which those no Honorlock for those who care, but I wouldn't take her again only because of the group project. With me, it's hard to get my teammates to actually do anything. You'll most likely do a SmartBook (which can take a while) and a quiz every week. Don't take if you actually wanna learn anything, all self-taught

Overall she was an easy professor. If you just need to take the class and are not actually interested in PSY, take her class. All the assignments are easy. There is a group project; I personally didn't like it. Other than that, it was an easy grade and not a difficult class.
