Hi, I took her during Summer. Her Tests are horribly hard. Tests are IN-CLASS, NOT ONLINE (She lied on the Syllabus). There were only few questions on Test which came from her lecture like who wrote D of I?. She takes Off from college often so she completed the lectures last minute. I recommend her for people who already knows History of America.

I took this class on summer II, 4 test (20 quest. 60 min limit)4 discussion board with many questions but discussions only counted 25 points each. Not a bad class to take online, good professor! no essays, no term paper no research. great class, crystal clear syllabus and power points available for every chapter.

I took her for both 1408 (winter semester) and 1409(spring 2016). 1408 you have 4 discussion boards and 4 test that are easy and multiple choice. 1409 3 discussion boards and 3 test essay format that is timed, I didn't like that at all. Overall, I made a A in both classes.

I took Katherine for HIST 1302. There are three modules that have to be done and she give about a month to read and answer question on the Discussion. There are three Tests and they are all based on what you read so take notes and answer the discussion questions and you will pass the class. The last module was graded the hardest. Good luck!

Professor Reguero was truly passionate about history and the current events that affect people's rights. Her lectures were funny and really insightful. I took her Maymester and we did 3 test and 3 essays along with some group involvement work. I would really suggest her if your into civil rights and protesting.

Professor Reguero is an excellent professor. I took History 1302 that emphasizes in Mexican American history. It requires LOTS of reading, three discussion boards, and three essay tests. Each assignment must be essay length, easy A if you read. Very easy online course, I ended up finishing a week and a half early. She is great!

I LOVED Professor Kat! I learned so much about Mexican Americans and their contribution to the US. Yes, she is political, however she lets you form your own opinions. She is a fair grader and gives great lectures. She taught me so much I didnt know. Take her! Shes fun and knowledgeable. Never boring!

Professor Kat was an amazing professor and i learned a lot in her 8 week hybrid class. You do have to do your work or else you will not get a good grade in this class but most is easy and well directed. Nothing too terribly difficult. I strongly recommend you taking her for History! Very interesting class.

Shes such a sweet teacher. I took her online course, and I passed with an 98! Just make sure to do every assignment how she asks, and you will definitely pass. Youd have to really really hard to fail. She responds with emails and checks in with us. Please take her class if you need a HIST credit

One of the best history professors I have ever taken! I took her 1301 and 1302 and have never regretted it! Her lectures are amazing, you always come out of the class learning new things. She does voice her opinions (which I love), so if you're sensitive like the negative comments below don't even bother wasting her time! AMAZING Professor!

I took Dr. Kat for May semester and didn't have a hard time. She posted everything on eCampus in the first day of class so I could advance in the classwork. I'm glad I rented the book for this class; I had to read 7 chapters, complete 9 posts (4 paragraphs each with 5 sentences long), 3 exams, 2 quizzes , and 1 film critique (2-3 page essay).

Opens up all of the assignments before the semester starts so you can get as much completed as possible at your own pace. There are 3 modules, each module has 3 discussion boards where 4 paragraphs are required at 5 sentences a piece minimum, a reading test and an essay with a core essay at the end. It's easy to get an A. So much writing though.

I was afraid to take this class because some said it was a lot of writing and English is my second language, writing is not my strongest, but Professor Reguero is amazing and values authenticity. She knew I wrote everything and graded me for my content, not my writing skills. Plus she responds all your questions and her material is incredible.

She is amazing ! Really organized & straight forward . Her online class was self paced, you were welcome to complete all the work ( modules ) at once . Each module had a due date but they were reasonable and the module would only take a couple hours to complete. I would take her again, she is awesome .

Professor Kat is literally amazing! I took her online class this past month and I'm excited to take her again for 1302! She has a schedule, is organized, she replies to emails promptly, and you can work ahead if you like! There is a lot of &quot;writing&quot; aka typing so be ready for that. Also you should know that her tests/midterm/final exams are essays!

I took HIST 1301 and HIST1302 online with Prof. Kat over the summer. Both her courses have a decent amount of work. There are about 9 discussion boards, 2 tests, 3 quizzes and one final CORE essay. I liked everything about the course structure and the concepts. The only complaint I have is that her grading criteria/ syllabus wasn't very clear.

i just completed 1302 history with mexican emphasis. u still get history credit but the regular class was full so i took this. her instructions are clear and repetitive but also can be hard to keep up with her updated instructions as the outdated ones are the ones u see while doing the assignment. u needa type many essays but she grades easy

I just finished her class last week. She is great with communication for those taking this course online. Everything is laid out and let's you work ahead if needed. The class is interesting since it has Mexican emphasis which something I've never had in a history class so I had fun learning everything from a different viewpoint. Passed with a an A.

She's a great professor, cancel's class a few times for the smallest things, she sometimes just grades assignments for completion. Easy class, she funny and gives good lectures.

Professor Kat is hands-down my favorite history teacher. Her online class feels like you're there in person and is packed full of useful information and tools. She has easy assignments, simple test essays, clear instructions, and extra credit. She responds quickly if you have questions, and sometimes even grades on completion!

Took Professor Kat online as a flex term class and it was so easy! No textbook required and as long as you do the work on time and show effort you will get an A. She will not offer extensions but does let you do all your work at once if you want to. Really doable, it was only discussion posts, a midterm and final essay, and reading quizzes.

Two chapters of reading per week, it took me a little less than an hour to read one chapter. She is just so amazing. I would rate her a 15 if I could. She is literally the best professor Ive ever had. She cares about her students and wants everyone to learn a lot and to succeed. Do the work, pay attention, participate and youll do great.

This professor cares about you as a person and wants you to know they are a person too. If you run into any issues you email her and she emails you right back. She's approachable. if you have any issues you reach out and let her know. Some things she can help with and some she can't but she wants to know how you're handling it. SHE CARES!! Loved it

Class was with Mexican-American emphasis with a textbook. Had lots of reading but was very informative. Learned lots about my heritage that was unlike any history learned before.

I took Prof. Reguero online so Im not sure how she is in class but she always responded quick to emails. Tests are in essay format but not hard at all, honestly you just need a basic knowledge of history and youll pass with a high A. Extra credit is simply telling her what she can improve on

I took this as an online 8-week combination course with ENGL 1301 co-taught by Dr. Ali. Prof. Kat was the one I reached out to every time. Very sweet but a very hard class. Lots and lots of writing. I got a 78 (almost perfect) because I didn't have time for the massive project (worth 20%). If you're working and taking multiple classes- watch out.

If youre looking for a history class at Eastfield College I highly recommend taking from Prof. Kat. The class is really easy if you do the reading and take good notes. You will make a good grade is you do every assignment. She is awesome with a great sense of humor!

Professor Kat was a great teacher and easy to communicate with. If you take this class, you will have to do the reading and watch the assigned videos to get a good grade. I took Prof Kat's history class Fall 2020 and came out with a B! I didn't find the class interesting and had a hard time getting into it but she gives a lot of different assignments to where I was able to pick out the easier ones. She was also very interactive during the semester.

I really enjoyed this class, I basically worked at my own pace and finished the course 2 weeks early! If you follow the instructions, you will pass. The work is pretty long, but worth it!

This professor was very helpful at times. Make sure to turn in your work on time because she doesn't accept late work. However, she isn't a hard grader as long as you work on your assignments and turn them in you should pass. I would recommend this class.

I have to say she is an outstanding teacher. She is incredibly responsive, always ready to answer questions and provide guidance. While you will have to write papers, it's nothing out of the ordinary for a college course. The key is to stay ahead as much as possible.
