She is really great. She is very helpful if you have a problem, she gives you make up quizzes. If you make an attempt, she'll help you. The only thing is, attendence is important and you get easy quizzes everyday. NO EARLY CLASSES!!

She is so good at explaining everything in a simple way. She answers questions and puts examples on the board until you understand. She offers outside help, and really wants her students to do well. The quizzes are pretty simple because she teaches well!

This woman is the best! You have daily quizzes that are pretty easy (sometimes she gives you the answers), the tests are easy, you don't have to do the homework, if you have a question she's always willing to help, and she makes math seem so easy!

This is an awesome, easy, funny, nice, amazing teacher. Definitely take her class. The notes are on blackboard, you NEVER stay the entire time (at max it's half an hour) and the quizzes are from the homework. Definitely take her!

She is an awesome woman! The class is easy. Everything is on blackboard. She is very clear and answers any questions. Quizzes are straight from the homework and tests are straight from the quizzes. You can't do bad unless you just do nothing. You never stay the whole time (usually 30 mins to an hour.) I recommend her! Wonderful person! :)

AWESOME teacher. i had her from 2-315 on T/TH, we were out of there at 240 on average. You come into class, learn something new, go over the optional homework (pay attention because its the quiz answers) then take a easy quiz, then you're done. quiz every day, then a test that comes directly from the quizzes. Have no fear though, its cake.

She might be the greatest professor ever! You take an easy quiz every class(which she sometimes gives you the answers) and you will always get out of class 30 mins early. She can teach very well, and she is very cooperative and helpful.

Nice lady, she likes to sing words sometimes which is kindof funny. Homework is not mandatory, but questions from the hw are on the quizzes that she gives at the end of every class and also on the tests. The work is mostly review from highschool so overall easy class.

Really easy! We get out of class every day 30-45 minutes early. Quiz at the end of class each day on the homework. They're easy! Material is easy to understand. Tests are from the quizzes and are also easy! Take her! She makes class fun!

Get in her class if you can. If you are not good at math, then I highly recommend taking her class. Homework every night, but she never checks to see you did it. Great teacher to take if your not very good at math. Gives you print out notes, gives homework everynight but is not mandatory, she gives quizzes every class, but the questions come right from the homework, and the test comes right from the quizzes, you MUST go to class, but its not so bad, you always get out early, i highly recomend her

The best math teacher I have ever had. You have quizzes everyday, BUT she only puts them onto your final grade if it benefits. If not, then she dismisses ALL of them. I recommend her the most out of every math teacher I have ever had.

Shes a really nice lady. wants to help. If you have one of her classes you can attend any of her classes any time of the day if you cant make one of them, but attendance is mandatory because everyday you have a quiz. The Math Final at the end is very hard and you must do well on it because it is a large influence on your final grade.

i loved mrs. stanley!! she goes pretty fast and since i'm not the best at math so it was a little difficult because of that, attendence isn't checked off but you have a quiz every class so if you don't go she knows your not there. quizzes aren't tough if you understand her in class and tests are straight from the quizzes! very simple! take her!

I loved Ms. Stanley. Very Organized and will help you with anything. On test days, she will grade the test right in front of you and you know what you got before you leave. She's the best teach ECU has by far! Highly recommended to take. Explains things so you understand them in a hot second.

she doesnt grade homeowork but do it every night because the quizzes r from the homework. just study the quizzes throughly before each test and you can make a 100. the only thing that sucks is the final but she cant really help that because its not hers. best advice is.. take her as a teacher... rock her three tests- youll be golden!

Prof Stanley is a pretty great math teacher. Homework isn't mandatory, but there's a daily quiz which makes attendance pretty mandatory. The quiz uses the exact same problems from the homework. Test questions are from the quizzes. My only complaint is that the final exam is more difficult than her class.

awesome teacher she does it the right way...print ur notes off. go to class do example problems..then optional hw which is the same stuff u just learned that day then at the end of the next class u take a quiz on what u learned just 5 ez questions... thats how she does attendence...great teacher!!!

Really nice lady. I am a awful math student, but if you must take math, shes the teacher to get. Just do the hw every night! If you miss one class or hw assignment, you will really fall behind.

Mrs. Stanley is straight-forward. She gives a quiz every day on the previous night's homework (6 questions)worth 20% of the final grade and 3 tests worth 40% of the final grade which come straight from the quizzes and the homework. I switched into her class after a day of another professor. Take her!

GREAT PROFESSOR! Even if math isnt your thing, she will help you out a lot. Quizzes at the end of each class but they EXACTLY like the test questions. Usually get out of class early. Can be entertaining and actually makes math worth going to. Came out with an A and didnt have to take the final!

I loved her!!! I was skeptical about college algebra, but she was so helpful and is not intimidating at all if you come to her office hours. She's very willing to help. We were also allowed to choose which class time we wanted to go to. I got an A and never missed a class, because i enjoyed it so much. TAKE HER!!!!

Very easy to follow in lecture, and you'll always get out early. Tells you exactly what will be on each exam. Homework and quizzes are done online through MyMathLab, allowing multiple attempts so it's very hard not to do well in her class. Very willing to answer questions. Fair, approachable, and efficient professor. Recommend highly. Go to class!

One of the BEST professors at ECU. Most of the stuff is on MML, you can have multiple chances to take the quizzes, homework is cake, and she even goes over the tests before you even take them! You have to TRY to fail her class! She is very nice, and we ALWAYS finish class like 40 minutes after it starts. TAKE THIS WOMAN! :)

Professor Stanley is great! All of the quizzes are based of off the homework and her tests are based directly on the material covered in the lessons, so there are no surprises. The first unit is very difficult, but if you stick it out, it gets much easier! Just make sure you do the homework and understand the concepts taught.

Best math professor ever! She was great. The homework can take a long time but it is worth doing. There is a quiz almost every class period, but it comes from the homework, and she asks if there are any questions on the homework before the quiz. The tests come from the quizzes. An easy and enjoyable math class I would recommend for anyone.

Class is easy! She doesn't beat around the bush, shows you how to do the problems and you can go. Don't bother getting the book and just get the MyMathLab code. She gives you notes and tells you exactly what questions you'll see on her tests. If you're still confused she'll work 1-on-1 until you get it. If you can use your calculator you can pass.

She FLIES through material, but if you can manage to follow along for 50 minutes then it will be worth it. She's awesome and can be pretty funny sometimes. She makes you work for your grade, but she's such a great professor that it shouldn't be too hard

Math 1065 sucks anyway and compared to the work outside of class, you hardly do anything in the class. You just go over workbook problems which she explains well. She can kinda get snippy and sarcastic sometimes but overall nice and willing to help I'd you need it. Attendance is very mandatory.

I actually enjoyed this class. She makes it really clear and works through problems with you, however, she does NOT accept late work. If she does, savor it. She does these random course pack checks, passing them could mean a letter grade. Overall, she's a good teacher, she's sometimes unclear, but ask her and she'll help. I'd would recommend her.

Ms. Stanley is probably the best math teacher for this class. This class is online and you go to class once a week for 50 minutes. Its pretty much "teach yourself college algebra with 1 lecture a week." If you do all the homework, quizzes, cave hours and DO THE PRACTICE TESTS you will get an A. Very time consuming class!!!!!

Professor Stanley s class was great! She truly cares about her students and will do the best she can to help you. Because most of Math 1065 is through the cave she only sees you once a week, take advantage of that time to ask her questions, she loves them. The key to passing her class is take the practice tests multiple times on mymathlab

The quiz questions are directly off the homework though and there are quizzes every class period. The tests are all questions taken right off of the quizzes. She drops lowest three quizzes. She's awesome take her!!

There is math homework and quizzes each week online. However you can take the quizzes 5 times and the HW as many times as you want. The tests are 25 questions long and come straight from the quizzes online. If you have an A after the 3rd test you are except from the final. Her class never lasted the whole hour and a half or even an hour.

Math 1065 sucks, no matter what, but she is by far one of the better instructors. She will definitely help you, but be prepared to work.

I LOVED this class. Her classes are extremely short, usually lasting no more than 20-25 minutes. Homework and quizzes are due online in a program called My Math Lab that you're required to purchase. She is a very fast talker so be sure to have your notes printed before class to fill them in. Only 2 absences allowed however, which isn't too bad.

I absolutely LOVED Professor Stanley! She's an amazing teacher! After struggling in high school to pass in high school math, I ended up getting a 97 in the class! Really not hard if you show up to class and pay attention. Make an A in the class and you get expect from the final!

She keeps her lectures short and simple and to the point. I had her for an 8am and rarely stayed past 830 for an intended hour and fifteen min class. She provides practice exams which are just like the exams in class so they are extremely helpful. Expected weekly homework and quizzes done on MML but they are super helpful.

Easy A. Just go to all the classes. She gives notes and even though it is an hour and 15 minute class we normally got done in 20 minutes. I passed with a 94 and got exempt.

I was worried about an 8 am math class but she changed my view on math. Such a good professor. No excuse to not get an A; she makes it easy and understandable. Most days we were out by 8:30 if not earlier. Exempt from final if A in the class.

MATH 1065 is basically teaching yourself. She does her part well with working out a couple of problems during the one day you meet a week. We got out of class early every day. Just do your course pack pages and test the practice tests at least 5 times and you'll pass. If you're average is above an 87 after exams you'll be exempt from the cave.

MATH1065 is basically a self-taught online class. You'll only have an actual class once a week where Stanley goes through the problems in the course pack. Going to the cave is mandatory unless you get on Fast Track or Partial Fast Track. Going through the practice tests before taking the test is extremely helpful.

Mrs. Stanley was an absolutely fantastic teacher. She was very knowledgeable about the subject matter and even though Math 1065 is a notoriously difficult class, she helped to get us through it.

Math 1065 is not the easiest class if math isn't your forte since it's mainly a self-taught course. However, Mrs. Stanley was super helpful to me throughout the semester and was always willing to meet with me when I was having trouble with something. Overall, Mrs. Stanley is an excellent professor who really cares about her students.
