Man, you'd have to be a COMPLETE IDIOT not to like Kathleen Devlin! She's one of the most awesome teachers in the entire school. She's sweet, she's funny, and she's an excellent teacher. Kathleen is one of the few teachers who actually cares about her students. I would take another class with her just because she's so much fun to be around!

Bioinformatics is an easy A. Im not wiz and I did well in her class she gives you all the info you need to know for the 2 test you have in this class and you don't belong in college if you get less then a B- in this class. You only need the book for the 2 easy papers she assigns

She makes this class a complete joke. You will learn the effects of budhist blessing water, that your soul has a weight, that you can make a computer perform with thought. The class is easy and a waste of time. Don't buy the textbook. It is just the slideshow on her website.

Absolutely the best. Hilarious, intelligent, and lovable. She knows a lot about a lot of things, and makes the most boring topics funny, which helps you to learn. She gets frustrated with students who don't try their best, so put forth all your effort! Do everything you can to get her anatomy lab!

Professor Devlin was great!! A very simple class, she has in class discussions that help to boost up your grade...don't miss those. Also don't be late for a test! Very simple material, although kind of strange material. Great professor though!!

I took this class right before she found out that she was going to be a mommy:) Haha, so anyway my learning experience at CSUSB was most memorable when I took her for lab. She had the uncanny ability to make everything seem so easy and fun. Before and after class, I remember feeling motivated to learn and study. She was one of a kind.

Although the class is pretty difficult and requires lots of studying & time I recommend trying to get her as your lab instructor for both Bio 223 and 224. She made that my favorite class at CSUSB!

It's easy to do bad in her class if you don't show up for group discussions. They are worth the most. You don't need to buy the BOOK! Her study guide has everything. Be respectful, ask question, and you will do fine.

This teacher is hilarious. Goes through the information in a very direct way, good powerpoints and good workbook. Tells you exactly what to study for for the 2 exams. I don't understand how anyone could get anything other than an "A" in this class!

Professor Devlin is mad cool. Shes really nice and easy to talk to. The only bad thing i have to say about her is, she talks way to fast. Like shes high or something. But shes the only professor i know that basically gives out the test in a study guide. Show up, and you get an A. Point blank.

She was my lab teacher for BIO 100 and she was extremely helpful. She made the lab feel really easy and the way she helped us everyday on memorizing the material helped for lecture as well. I had fun doing the labs and hope she is my lab teacher again for another BIO course. I would recommend you take care. She is not hard.

OMG this professor is the best. Every lecture taught is very good, she is very funny and she tries to give examples of things. Midterm and Finals are very simple, she lets you know what will be on the exam. You do have to be there on time when its the midterm and final!

SUPER easy. attendance isnt mandatory only on group discussion days. Go review for midterm and final she gives ALL the answers. Book is only $11.00. She's down to earth and cool. DO NOT be late to an exam by any means!!! You will not take it!So dont even bother sweeting talking her.

Easy class, she tells you everything you need to know for her tests in a clear easily understandable way. She is a bit sarcastic though and rude to students at times. Also she stressed to us that if we were late to the midterm by even a minute we wouldn't be able to take it no excuses, then when it came she showed up 10 min late with starbucks.

EXTREMELY helpful and will respond to your emails in a timely manner. Biology of chordates is a tough course, but she is very helpful in the laboratory portion of the class and will only expect things that are extremely important, such as function. She will fight for fairness for students (like on lab practicals). Would definitely recommend.

I also had her for computer science and microbiology,she is an awesome teacher, one of the best at this school. I highly recommend her.

This was a fairly easy class, if you fail just blame yourself, she tells you what's on the tests, the day prior to the exam, fun teacher, highly recommended, only reason I got a B- was my own fault for not studying sufficiently, but if you take her class you wont regret it, its easy!

Probably the best (AND HOTTEST!) professor I've EVER had. Very easy going and crystal clear when explaining course material. You will not regret taking her! I had a hard time paying attention in class because I was distracted by her beauty! Take her. You won't regret it.

Took the online class this summer. Very easy class She set it up where you could literally finish the whole class within like 3 weeks. You need the book for the Midterm and Final and there are 5 fun-fact quizzes. I needed 2 units to be full time in the Summer and this class was beyond perfect

Best professor on campus, Funny and teaches you how to pass any test, then tells all the answers to her test, only need to show up day before test and in class grading days but is fun to just go listen to.

If your major is science, then the class should not be a problem for you, should study the minimum. If science is not your major, then you may have to spend more time on it. The only reason you need to show up are the in class participation and week before midterm cause she tells you exactly what you need to study. Overall, its ok

She taught my "Creating Web Pages with HTML" at Chaffey College. I enjoyed this class a lot. It started out being extremely simple, but definitely increased in difficulty towards the end. Overall, this class is easyfun, so long as you read and do all of the assigned work. And yes, she is very attractive and smart, so that's certainly a plus!

I took this class for a GE requirement & I didn't know what to expect. This class is super easy, just show up for lectures & listen. She's hilarious so it's easy to listen. There are 5 in class assignments, 1 Midterm, and 1 final. I only showed up and listened and studied 15 minutes before the exam and I got a B+. Put in effort & you can get an A.

Class was actually fun and informative but her tests weren't very clear I went into both tests having memorized most of everything but her phrasing really threw me off and walking out of class almost everyone I'd talk to felt the same way. She was actually a really good teacher despite the tests however

Professor Devlin was so great! She's funny and very blunt. She is pretty tough though, her homeworks are not the easiest and her tests are not easy either. But just based off her personality I would take her again.

Long lectures, occassionally ends early. ATTEND class when there are discussions on the syllabus! and do not leave early. Pretty funny and chill. Tests are straight forward.

Online class, extremely accessible. Each week she sent out an email with the class progress, along with inspiration to get the class done. Buy the course pack for her class, only $14. She even says you can finish her entire class in a day. 4 quizzes, 1 midterm, and 1 final.

Homework is straight-forward, answers from her lecture slides. Review very specific slides for exams, NOT every single slide. Provides points if mistakes were found in exam or homework. Attending is optional, but you get a good laugh and understand the material better. Would take again for another class if she teaches it.

When she said you could finish everything in the class in two days, she really meant it! Very easy, just pay attention to the quizzes and readings you do and you'll get an easy W on the final. Take one weekend to complete it all. She is also interesting in person.

(CSE 129) Professor made lecture entertaining with her personality and teaching. "textbook" (copies of slides for the quarter ) is purchased off campus for 13$ roughly. zero homework. exams (midterm and final) based off lectures and given a study guide the lecture before the exam. final non cumulative. down to earth professor.

Come to class for the whole lecture on discussion days. Get the cheap powerpoint book from copy+ and it's basically the test. She's very straightforward and tells you what to study. You only need to come on discussion days and can quick read through the powerpoint book to pass.

Her online class is easy to pass as long as you do the work. It can be done in a couple days time if you sit down and do it. She does weekly check-ins throughout the quarter to remind students to finish the class. Honestly the only way to not pass the class is not do the little work there is.

Professor Devlin is truly amazing for the reason that she is super cool . She is truly funny, caring, and tells it like it is. Show up to her class for the five in class discussions which is used to help your grade. Study for the midterm and final exam and you will pass easily with a satisfactory grade. Examinations are multiple choice.

You have to buy the notes from Copy Plus, which is like $20. You can take the quizes and tests throughout the course. The only thing I didn't like was the midterm and final, which make up most of your grade, but it is based on the notes. So study the notes and then take the test.

Truly an amazing professor that is passionate about her craft. Will answer any question that you have. She also saves you money as she has you get a packet from CopyPlus for $15, instead of buying a book from the bookstore for +$90. Would take her again in a heartbeat. I loved this class and I'm not even a natural science fan. She makes the class fun and interesting. There are 2 midterms and a final. Homework is done through blackboard (really easy). She gives you study guides and gives you a list of pages in the lectures that is pretty much in your exams. I highly recommend her and would love to take her again!

Was told this class was an easy A, but I had to work for it a lil. Still ended with an A somehow thankfully. She gave extra credit once by taking attendance one time randomly. Her study guide doesn't contain all the test material so show up to the review day. Great professor and makes class tolerable. Interesting topics.

I took her class during my winter quarter and she is such a great professor, raise your hand and actually participate to get your easy participation points. The textbook is free (PDF) but the book that she makes you get in the the CopyPlus spot are all of her slides and she tells you what will be in the midterm and final with it.

Just listen to her lectures and you're good. Look at a few quizlet cards and easy A . She's very tough on grades so don't come in expecting extra credit and make ups. If you keep up you'll cruise through the quarter

Devlin was great. The class consists of 5 EASY quizzes in which she gives you the link to the answers for each quiz, a midterm and a final (which was online). Class was only 1 day a week and I only went once to class and just showed up to the midterm and still ended the class with an A! Says its required to buy the book but honestly I didn't use it

Very easy A class and I really enjoyed her lectures too! Buy the course pack which doesn't even cost that much because she will tell you exactly which slides she wants you to know. Although attendance isn't mandatory you still may want to come to class since she will do a few drawing that you have to know for the exam.

Very straightforward! 5 quizzes pretty easy turn them on time! Midterm & Final straightforward study and you'll do good! Go to class you will learn a lot and its an interesting class. She funny too lol

She is a really good prof. Her class is straight forward, you need to buy a booklet with all the slides you'll be going over throughout the quarter. There are 5 quizzes online which are pretty easy if you read what is required. I really recommend her, it was an easy A if you do ALL the work.

She is so funny I highly recommend taking her class. It is such a straight forward class, she has you buy a 15 dollar course pack instead of a $49835738 dollar textbook lol. As long as you do the 5 quizzes and review quizlets for midterm and final you're good.

She was awesome. Although you do have to put effort in the midterm and final but it is an essay course. Course pack was mandatory but is was basically her lecture on paper.

I took her online class during Summer 2019. A textbook is recommended, but really you can go get a course pack, and the lecture notes are there for you. She gives you a file where you can go to the links available to use in that file for quizzes and the final. Easy A if you know what you're doing in the class. Definitely recommend this online class

You want a low maintenance class with an easy A? this is definitely the class and prof for you. No final or midterms, just weekly quizzes and hw assignments every now and then. Records lecture and posts powerpoints. Lectures are interesting but not needed since everything on BB. Best class for quarantine. She does offer extra credit.

She can get distracted, but she is always willing to explain difficult concepts. If you attend her lectures, you may have to read a little to answer some questions from the test. It is a nice class to take.

Best professor yet! I highly recommend taking she is very motivational and talks about a lot of real life circumstances that made me realize what career I want to take. Over all lectures are great and she keeps students engaged and does not get boring at all! Work is okay not to much work something you can handle!

Love this woman. Take her class and have fun and I promise the only way you can fail is if you don't pay attention or don't show up. She's like the superhero of astrobio and she really makes me want to change my degree path.

She is a very funny and outgoing professor, which makes you want to keep attending the class. Not only that but she has no exams!! Just homework and lecture tests which are easy if you attend or watch recorded lectures. Great professor

Professor Devlin was very easy to reach. If you have trouble with assignments, she has many different forms of contact and does get back to you quickly! She is very detailed in her zoom sessions and is frankly quite friendly! Just do your textbook homework and submit your assignments on time. She may accept late work but don't quote me on that.

Professor Devlin cares about her students. I took her class online recently. Her online class works like this; Read the book, watch the videos, participate in discussions and complete your assignments. Everything is fairly straightforward. She responds to her email, usually within 24 hours or so. She engages with her students and helps you! A Plus!

Professor Devlin is amazing! Her lectures are very interesting and she is not boring even when the topics are a bit dry. Homework and quizzes were easy and right from her Powerpoints.

She was a great professor, gives good and understanding lectures. Keeps the class active and engaged. Offers few extra credit opportunities, but overall not a hard class. Quizzes were based off lecture so pay attention to what she says.

Professor Devlin was one of my favorite professors to have. Her lectures are quick and to the point. She is very knowledgeable in the field and has a great way of teaching you the subject. There are no exams and a couple of easy quizzes in her class that you can easily pass if you read the chapter. The final project of the class was very fun to do.

Pretty reasonable class. Lectures were also pretty entertaining! She actually made at home learning enjoyable. I'd recommend her to anyone.

Prof Devlin made her own eBook for the course and it is super helpful. The homework assignments are easy and she takes off the lowest one! I had her for the 4-week summer course and we had to read practically everyday, but it was doable! Tests are hard if you don't read her eBook + PPs. I still recommend her 100%.

Professor Devlin is hilarious, she makes her lectures interesting and is open to answering any questions. Take her you will not regret it. She provides the text needed for class and is easy to download.

She is very a very straight forward professor and WILL say what she thinks. Her lectures are very interesting and she does try to make them not boring. Overall her class is very easy to pass if you pay attention.

Devlin is a really fun professor and it was fun watching the lecture! BUT you don't have to attend to pass the class. The lectures she gives are already in an ebook she tells you to buy and the exams are strictly on the ebook. Very easy A for GE class.

HW assignments are based on YouTube videos (Open transcripts and find answer). Exams are based on PowerPoints she provide ( Control + F to find answers). Attendance was optional between in person or zoom. Passed her class only attending one time in person. She overall is an ok professor. Her work is not hard but she is disorganized.

She's a really nice professor, would definitely recommend this professor! Just to let you know this class isn't about astronomy but about how the stars came to be, etc. This class is lecture heavy but can use commF on textbook to understand questions. Will have 2midterms with 1 final! Make sure to note questions answered in lectures or asked.

she was funny and her class is cool. you learn a lot of interesting things in astronomy. She made her own textbook so it can be more simplified. Go to class whether it is online or in person its not mandatory I think but if you just show up and listen and engage then you'll for sure pass the class

She's really great as a person, she calls out people if they're not in line. HW was easy and so were the midterms, you dont need to buy the book it is just an extra resource. Uses iclicker for attendance and participation. she allows you to go in person or on zoom which is super convenient.

All tests/quizzes got multiple attempts, discussions are easy. Very good class and understood everything. Definitely on the easy side but still makes sure you get what the topic is. Textbook is a free online book. Take her class , she a great professor. I went in this class with no knowledge of HTML , came out with 100% more.

Devlin is great! I think it was out of my own laziness I didn't get an A+!!! Be prepared, read, take your time with the quizzes/homework, and take good notes for the exams. I am sure there is a better way to study for her exams (that are timed!!!), but I just couldn't get into that grove!!!!

The $30 textbook is mainly useful for completing assignments, but the PowerPoints can also fill the need. Go to class as you will likely use IClicker. The assignments are not too hard but make sure to brush up on the material before hand. She does let you take the quizzes with her if you go to her office hours. None of the material is too hard.

Professor Devlin is a really cool professor. I took ASTR 3000 with her, and I appreciated her perspective when combining the multiple disciplines covered in the course (biology, etc.) Textbook is free to access, quizzes and tests are online, super easy to follow through. If you need something that isn't too stressful, this is a good course.

Professor Devlin is the BEST professor I have ever had! She is so kind and super funny. I enjoyed every class and learned so much about things that will help me with adulting such as how to complete my own taxes, budget money, move out, etc. She also gives points just for attending class. If you can take this class, I 110% recommend it!

Class is fun, the textbook USB and the pop quiz app she uses are a pain though. Overall it is very easy.

great professor i would 100% take her again. easy A in my opinion and a lot of interesting topics are discussed so i looked forward to going to class a lot of the time. practically zero homework and there's no tests or final or midterm either.

Professor Devlin is simply the BEST. The GOAT. I loved her class; it was easy to succeed, she made it extremely interesting, and she genuinely wanted you to love the class (everyone did). If her class fits in your schedule, TAKE HER!! The class is fascinating and the teaching style top notch. She also drops your lowest test and homework scores.

Definitely recommend this class if you're looking for an easy GED. To get an A, put effort into the assignments and show up to class for participation points. It doesn't matter what major you are, she will teach you so much about adulting such as job interview tips, moving out, etc. She's blunt yet funny and just wants the best for her students.

Simply one of the coolest, most caring professors a student can have! Really simple class of just showing up and doing assignment. No tests, quizzes (Other than the in class participation points), no final, only assignments. Truly one of the easiest GE's and the best time I've had in a class. Please take her if you have the opportunity to!

Professor Devlin is super caring and very funny in my opinion. She does have a strong personality so just beware of that but she's great. This was probably the most easiest GE class I've taken. There were only a handful of assignments that she grades and there are no test, quizzes, or projects. If you can get this class with her take it.

Took this class online over summer. This class was super boring, but it wasn't hard. Lectures are super slow going and she uses the epub and it made everything so difficult to access information you needed. But ultimately we had a handful of hmwk assignments and a few tests. She dropped our lowest Hmwk and Test scores. No projects/papers.

Professor Devlin's ASTR3000 class is intriguing and manageable. The lectures can be dry, but she makes the material engaging. The free textbook and online assessments are convenient. Unstuckstudy ai helped me ace the quizzes. Overall, a solid course.

This was my favorite class, it was interesting and professor Devlin makes learning so fun and relatable. There's homework due every month that's really easy. 4 exams that are open note, but are timed, but even these are easy. and her lectures are fun to listen to. I would highly recommend taking this class if you need credits.

She is an excellent professor, her passion for the material is apparent. She assigns 6 homework's & 4 exams but she drops the lowest for both. She did have 1 extra credit assignment & she is available outside of class. Just remember to study she emphasized that after the first exam people don't study so their grade goes down. But I'd recommend her.

Excellent professor for GE. Do not need to go to class unless you simply want to learn. The assignments and exams are all online. The answers found within the powerpoints and videos she assigns. Very easy and stress-free class.

She also drops the lowest score on these assignments and offers extra credit. I would recommend taking this class due to the interesting content and lectures.

She provides the PowerPoint and everything you'll need for the exams. Coming to class certainly helps, but you could probably pass with the PowerPoint's alone. Super chill class, and she's very transparent as to how the class will go and how grading is evaluated.
