Worst teacher I've ever had. I was more lost after taking the class than I was when I went in. She admits to the class that she doesn't know how to do the problems and has had to have a student stay after class to help her with a problem in Chapter two. I highly advise anyone to take someone else.

I believe that she does not know how to teach she goes extremely to fast and is not helpful

She was a very nice teacher who gave a lot of extra credit, but her teaching style wasn't that good.

This last semester she taught 23 credits and it shows. She was disorganized constantly tired got through what she had to get through as quickly as possible with litte regard to whether the class really understood the material or not. Online portion of the course was dumb and that was mostly what you dealt with. Choose someone else, not worth it.

We correct her in class daily. we kind of made it a game. but if you have never taken calculus before, do NOT take her. She doesn't teach it at all!

Literally the worst experience I have had in a math class. All online homework, professor does not know the material, constantly makes mistakes, tests are weighed too heavily. AVOID.

Honestly a sad excuse for a teacher. She barely knows the material and needed to be corrected by students multiple times every class. She cancelled a total two whole weeks of class during the semester. The only reason I did an exceptional job in the class was because I had a calc class in high school. She's not suitable to teach at a high level.

Terrible experience.

Usually doesn't know what she's teaching and students will correct her. The tests are heavily graded and if you fail one or two, it'll be difficult to get an A or B. She does let you use a cheat sheet on the test though.

Homework is super easy because it is online and you do not know how to do it to get an A. Tests are really hard though because I really don't think she knows what she is doing. She'll get a problem wrong and try to justify it and teach it wrong until a student corrects her. You better know calc going in or else you teach yourself.

I never really struggled with math until this class. She assigned us papers that did not have to do with math. She gave us tests, which were not online for an online class, and they were difficult. Also the tests had to be completed and turned in exactly how she told us. She did let us decide which chapters we preferred to complete.

You get 5 skips before failing. You have constant hw between webassign and paper hw and never submits grades. It's the end of the semester and the only grades in are chapters 1 and 2 and we're on chapter 6. Just does problems on her tablet all class. 10 question hw assignments are literally worth 100 points. You can have a cheat sheet on tests.

Please don't take her. Take anyone else. I would do the right thing on the test and there wouldn't be enough work for her and she would mark it wrong. I hated this class.

Took this class online. She waited until the end of the course to grade most of the assignments, leaving me unaware of my grade throughout the semester. Assigned a lot of homework and projects that did not have much clear direction. Often needed to give extensions because there was no way to get all of the work done on time.

OMG DROP HER CLASS. Dont even try.. you will not pass. Shes the most awful professor at RMU. She refuses to stand in class and cant write on the board. She cancelled class once a week. We were able to have a cheat sheet for the exams and I still failed. She assigns 10 hours of my math lab every week.

She is the worst professor I've ever had. She canceled class more times than you are allowed to miss to fail the class. She would consistently do problems wrong and I would correct her. If you ask for clarification, she can't even explain her own work. I took Calc for two years in HS and she still couldn't teach anything. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS.

This was the only class that I have failed. The class schedule was never the same from week to week and we had weird 6am due dates mixed with 11:59pm due dates. The class was so disorganized that I had no idea what was due when because stuff was either not posted when it was supposed to be or poor communication.

Descriptive statistics is very easy , but the course gets much harder when inferential statistics is introduced. The professor is willing to answer questions, but never uploads assignments on time and takes forever to grade them. A majority of the graded material consists of 3 large exams and a confusing excel project. A "C+" is not typical for me.

She is the worse professor ever! I had a B 4 weeks into the class then it dropped to a F and never came back up. I met with her each week so she could try to teach me stuff and didn't just wrote it down and expected to know why things are the way they are. The excel project sucked because I don't know how to use it and she didn't know them either.

This class is challenging. I didn't expect my life to revolve around statistics, but it did. The amount of homework required per week was 20+ hours (no exaggeration) in addition to 2-3 quizzes, written tests every 2 weeks, and multiple projects. No online lectures, Q&A sessions 2x week which were useless. Get ready to teach yourself. Misery.

Just really irritating

She grades a lot of assignments very late, so whatever your grade is throughout the semester is probably not what you will end up with by the end of the semester. Normally have 10 webassigns a week, a quiz for each chapter, written assignments and some paper tests. The workload for this class is A LOT compared to other classes.

Please do not take this class unless you want to fail. She does not grade anything, and when she does she does not give feedback. You can do the problems correctly, but if you do not do it her way you are screwed. Please take any other professor, because I used to do great in math until this. Even took stats in high school and got an A...

Never in my life have I taken a more scattered class. Half the classes were canceled or moved to an online setting that was incredibly inconvenient for me and my peers. We were also required to complete online lessons and quizzes in addition to regular class material, which felt more like I was taking two stats classes that did not match at all.

Please never take this professor ever. I have spent hours each day completing her assignments and tests and I am not majoring in anything related to math. Her class makes my blood boil.

Goes weeks on end without posting anything to blackboard and expects us to know random due dates when nothing was mentioned about them and were never assigned in the first place. Lost my assignments and try to blame my ability to use technology. Even thought I have the receipts and time stamps to prove my work. I would never take her again-

Never met a professor that disappears for weeks on end and expects students to keep up with sudden due dates, random tests on material covered weeks prior, and confusing assignments. The workload is ridiculous. The online homework takes at least 8+ hours a week to complete (not an exaggeration). Never answers her emails either if you need help.

She sucks.

Does not line up class lectures with online assignments, does not truly teach, just does problems and assumes you get it. Terrible teacher and communication skills. Does not explain anything well at all, just assumes you get it. Awful, never taking again.

She doesn't put in grades EVER. Tests are random. You will do a billion math xls and not get a grade for them. If you submit a written assignment as a pdf and there is a sliver of a table in the background you get a 0. She's a nice lady but a horrendous teacher.

Has to be one of the worst professors that I have had this semester. Forgets to post things at times and randomly posts assignments and changes due date without making an announcement to the class. Terrible with communication and never responds to emails in a reasonable time. It usually takes her multiple days to respond to an email.

DON'T TAKE HER CLASS! I took calc in hs, so I already knew a lot of the material, but her inability to communicate makes her class so frustrating. Everyone is failing and she refuses to curve. The tests are difficult and she doesn't tell you what will be on them. She "gets sick" for weeks at a time and expects you to know the material. 0/10.

Horrible, changes test dates halfway through the day they are scheduled for and does not allow students to take the test on the scheduled date. The worst professor I have EVER had in terms of communication. Clearly does not care about the students.

SO MANY ALEKS ASSIGNMENTS. Grades hard. Doesn't give feedback. Also only puts grades in at midterms and then finals. You will not know your actual grade in the course unless its right after midterms or your finalized grade.

Don't take!

Don't take her. So much homework that takes hours to complete. Due dates for homework and online quizzes change frequently and has caused me to complete them late. Theres only two tests (20% of grade) and a final (25% of grade). I finished applied calculus with an A, I'll be lucky to have finished this one with a C.

An utter sadness to witness. Grades are not viewable until midterms/finals. Even graded assignments intended for review/instruction are not returned, making them completely pointless. ALEKS is terrible, she only uses this for homework (which can exceed 3 hours per week). Only 2 exams + the final. No review problems, frequent mistakes on blackboard.

Way too many Aleks assignments that aren't helpful at all. Takes too long to grade things. She acts like her course is the only course you're taking. Awful professor. Cancels class often

She assigns so many written assignments, as well as online ones that is enough to be its own online class.Cancels class frequently with little/no warning.The worst part is that she does not put a single grade in until midterms and still only grades a couple things.Overall I will avoid her at all costs.

Absolutely horrible. Do not take an 8-week math course with this instructor. First week of class she claimed to have trouble accessing WebAssign. Around the 5th week of class, she was missing for an entire week. Very lazy grading. Changed the way she graded assignments and screws students over. Excessive amount of work, very few things are graded.

Ms. Donoghue is a great teacher and a fun person but one class period she started rambling on about feet and eventually it got physical and he started sucking the toe nail polish off of one of her student's feet! L Professor!

She picks on indian people bruh.

She needs to retire. She's nice as a person, but absolutely horrible as a professor. She only teaches using Aleks, cancels class regularly, picks on random people, refuses to curve, and weights her tests like crazy. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS! You think you'll be fine, but you won't.

Hands down the worst professor I've ever had. Very senile, thinks highly of herself, picks favorites and unfavorites in class, disregards students' disability accommodations, loses her train of thought, straight-up cancelled classes while we were supposed to learn the material our final was about. I've never seen someone who needs to retire more.

Very nice lady but horrible professor. It is currently the week of finals and I have yet to receive grades from beginning of October. Rarely responds to emails. Cancels class A LOT. The blackboard shell is a mess. ALEKS assignments sometimes took me hours. Due dates change often. Tests are very hard.
