My favourite prof this year! Content can be a lot but she explains things really well and does review questions in class as well as posts practice questions for each topic. If you do those, you're guaranteed to do really well on the quizzes. Lecture slides don't contain all the info and she elaborates a lot more, important to actually go to class

Awesome prof! Truly brilliant and teaches extremely well. The amount of detail she gives also requires you to know them and incorporate them into quizzes and exams. Lab was hell, though. The lab quizzes were ridiculous and brought people's marks down. The lab was not under her, though, so you should be fine for the lecture component!!!

I don't typically rate my professors but I really enjoyed the way that this prof went about teaching her course. She made it very enjoyable and she's an easy person to listen which is good for people who get distracted easily, like me. I will say this, to do good on her midterms you have to write your own notes or rewatch the lecture videos on 2x.

She is an amazing prof! The way she teaches is enlightening, she's descriptive, explains thoroughly when confused, and encourages questions! The course can be tough as it is memorization/understanding based, but once you get it, it's smooth sailing. Definitely attend class, her positive energy and work environment made the course enjoyable!

A kind and well-meaning professor. Truly a delight to have her as a professor, handed out chocolate to the class for answers responded to in class. Always made sure to take class feedback and make sure that students understood well. Love Gilmour, Gilmour the Goat!

Her door is always open and she is always always happy to give you feedback on your work so that you can succeed. I've never had such a caring bio professor her class was a breath of fresh air for me. Genuinely one of the sweetest professors you will find at uottawa. Never tries to trick you and just wants you to do well and learn in her class.

She is a good prof. Has in-class practise so make sure you do them and understand the answer. Look for past midterms/final and practise them too.

She was a great prof and I would 100% take her again. She has opportunities for bonus marks, fair midterms and exam, provides lots of practice problems in class and posts past tests to practice with. The only negative thing about this course is the GOD AWFUL lab that's worth 40% of your grade, but that's nothing against her. GO TO CLASS

Very sweet lady! Always answers absolutely any question, gives candy out for answering her lecture questions, provides a ton of practice problems for each unit and old midterms + exams. Super well structured! That being said, the class is not easy, and the lab component is TERRIBLE!!! Worst time ever, but thats not her fault. She made it bearable.

Lectures had a lot of content but she explains everything well and in a way that you know what to focus on for studying. Her exams are fair and reflective of lecture content as well as the practice tests. The course would be perfect if not for the miserable lab, a teacher like her has no business associating with such an awful lab coordinator.

Very sweet professor and is clearly very passionate about her course. Participation and attendance aren't mandatory, but she'll pass out candy for answering questions and attendance counts for extra credit. Practice midterms and questions done in class are very similar to her tests; no tricks. The labs were fine, the final exam is difficult-ish.

SO NICE. class itself is hard, very content heavy, but she explains concepts so well and her lectures are engaging. GO TO CLASS! i think my grade is 20% higher just because I went to class consistently and was able to learn from the questions she reviews from the previous lecture. also very approachable + encourages u to ask for help whenever
