The Greatest Teacher I Ever Had

She talks allot! come prepare knowing the material.. If you like reading you will surely love her class. She's a great Engligh professor. Born to teach Lit!!

Very hard grader, but very nice and understanding. Just listen to her in class, and repeat all her statements in your essays. Skim through the books to find some quotes to put in your writings. Cliff Notes have limited help.

She is the best English professor that I had ever had. She is very helpful and clarifies everything in detail. The course is not easy, but has a lot of reading and research. Strongly recommended to all students at Pace!

very difficult but I learned so much from her. she is very fair and is full of knowledge! I loved her and I really enjoyed her class, but you can breeze through!

Shes a sweet, knowledgable woman. Though, she can tend to bore u out. One thing to consider is, what gets u an A in high school may not exactly get u an A in college, or atleast her class. She is technical and she looks for deth so be sure to include detail, clearity, and knowledge in ur papers.

She is very smart and knows a lot about a lot of subjects. She can be a great help if you ask her. She may be a little boring but if you have a good class and participate in what shes talking about, it can be a really good class. Shes a sweetheart. Take her.

She is the sweetest lady ever. She is very funny even with her cat noises she makes to wake you up if you fall asleep. She is a little repetitive but her goal is to make you pass her class. She really likes to help her students so just talk to her if you ever have problems. She is a great professor though.

She was okay but very crtical of everything. She explained papers one way and when you would do it that way, she'll say it was wrong. Confusing at times but very helpful.

I really enjoyed Pr. Griffin this semester, but I did my work and handed it in on time, therefore she gave me good grades. Just hand everything early, always ask for extra help and you will have no problems. It was those who did not hand their work in on time that had problems with her. She grades hard, but no harder than she should.

Nice lady, but her classes are so boring. Tough grader, if you have any interest in course work prior to class you wont after taking her.

Professor Griffin doesn't give grades, you EARN them! It is possible to earn an A in her class - I did. Do what she asks of you; if that means reading the books, turning in papers on time, or sending outlines. In the long run YOU'LL be the one benefiting from it. Take her - you'll survive.

Grade range A to F for 18 students, but average grade B. Likes students to arrive on time, talk a lot on topic in class. Very hard to fail, except for no attendance, no work (NO penalty for late work). Lots of revisions to up grades. Demands books in class, so buy/borrow or die! Likes cats, miaows if exasperated.

Although she may be difficult in the begining, she turned out to be such a sweet lady. She gives you a lot of help when you ask for it and definitely wants students to pass her class. Just read, participate and revise your papers, and you'll be fine. Most importantly, DO NOT BE LATE! She'll give you the glare..but overall she's a great professor!

These people that have been complaining are probably the ones I watched sleep or backtalk the entire time she taught. Look, she's a very simple woman. She likes what she likes, and doesn't like crap. She literally tells you what to write in your essays. She's not very organized, but neither was I, so it worked out.

Lets get this out of the way, you will do a lot of reading! Since taking her, I have come to enjoy reading ones more. Now that I've just graduated, I can truthfully say that, she is probably my 2nd favorite professor at Pace! ( I am not even an English major, I am a Finance Major)! Great professor who LOVES what she does.
