First days I was happy b/c she is down to earth and clear. Good choice for stats, but then I start to notice she seems to get moody when asked questions and towards end of class likes to rush through. Makes you feel on edge with her.

shes very nice- really takes her time out to help anyone and makes meetings. very lenient marker. her tests are very fair if you study you do well.

She is a great teacher. Very helpful, makes statistics understandable. She is a Drstudent and has a baby at home and still took time out to give extra help. I wish she gave more classes so I could take her again for something else next semester.

She is an easy one for this, and she is nice, however after taking 213 I realized Kathy didnt offer good explanations for all the stats. She jus went though em kinda fast. She teaches easier than alot, since its hard course, but check out your other choices if u want to know what u are doing.

Kathie is a nice teacher, she is a fair grader and she always make time for her students. I am glad that I took this class with her. Just do your home work and also she gives alot of handouts.she makes an effort for her students to learn, the material and her exams are easy once you study her notes.

i suck at math!!! so when i walked into this class i thought that i would fail it. however she is a good teacher who makes time for her students. she gives out a lot of handouts which are helpful. some of her quizes are open book and so was the final. she is a fair grader.

Kathy is extremely dedicated and the best teacher you will have at QC.She is approachable and will stay after class to make sure you understand all the material.Kathy likes students to be prepared and to participate and she reflects that in your grade. Try not to miss class and do the homework. It is a very hard class but she makes it interesting.

First, she is very helpful to ALL students. She wont leave until you understand the material, and she is one of the best professors at QC. Second, I know for a fact, that the so called "kiss-up" got the grade that his test scores JUSTLY gave him. First off, Kathie is the sweetest professor on earth. I've taken her before and she is awesome. There is a work load in this class but she gives you plenty of time to do it. Study from the text book and highlight the articles. That really helps when you write the papers. She is an amazing professor. I still speak to her!

She is one of the greatest teachers QC could have. She is more than willing to work with you to get you the grade you need/want, but you must work for it. She is always willing to help you even outside of classwork. I've had her a couple of times and would take her again and again. Even her jokes are fun but not always that funny :).

By far the BEST professor I have had at QC (and I'm a senior)! Her lectures are clear, she emphasizes main points, and provides analysis of coursework (experiments, articles). Exams are very fair and students have many opportunities to achieve desired grade. Coursework is heavy but manageable and USEFUL! Highly recommended!!! A++++!

Super teacher. I took this class over winter semester and I have a short attention span and still did well in the course. She makes the dryest material at least bearable. I'm sure that with any other professor I would have been napping all class.

You cant expect Exp.psych to be easy especially in the summer but she made the class very manageable. She was a great professor, though she was far from easy. If you stay on top of this class, no one should have any issues. Overall, great professor!

Dr. M is amazing!! Her lectures are crystal clear, tests are easy, she is so sweet, and a pleasure to have as a teacher. Tests are 2 parts: multiple choice is closed book, problems are open book and notes, which is GREAT! Definitely take her!!

Took her for Psych 107 during summer session and received an A+. She is an amazing professor- very dedicated, knowledgable and teaches the material well. The course itself is difficult and you have to attend to understand the content and know which material you'll be tested on. Three exams, Aplia, and optional textbook hw. Best 107 prof!!

Dr. M was my professor for 107 also. Having her for 213W made my advanced experimental course a breeze and an easy A. She's a bit tough, but she does everything in her power to help you while also being very warm and welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend taking both 107 and 213W with her !

There is a reason I am taking Professor M for a second semester in a row. She genuinely loves teaching, but even more so she loves her students. She helps us with every step, and is always available to give us extra help when needed, and yet I still feel like I will come out of this course independent and with the skills to write a paper. TAKE HER!

Dr.M is an outstanding professor , you have to work hard for your grade. But she really loves to see her students do well. She's willing to help you outside the class . Test are hard but if you pay attention in class you'll do fine. Don't miss a class because you'll be lost. Aplia sucks really this is what i didn't like about the class.

Honestly like any college course, the tougher it is the more you will eventually learn. This class itself is tough what did you expect 2+2 and you're done? No, participate, do the readings, practice on your own and you will be fine. She makes herself available to you when possible & responds to her emails with caring words. Just show your efforts!!

Although I suck at math, more professors of psych need to be more like Kathleen. I've tried two different stats professors after not doing well the first time and there is no one like her. If she is open during registration you're in luck. She cares a lot and actually WANTS to help. One of the best professors in the Psych department hands down.

Although she is a fair professor, as in she makes her work challenging, she genuinely wants you to understand and to pass her class. She is always willing to help, she is super funny and sweet. She is like a mom to her students. You really have to study and do the work. Do the aplia and go to lab. She likes people who try their best and she helps.

I was nervous about taking this class bc i suck at math but she is clear, and expects you to do your work because, you're in college duh. she says she's fair and she IS, and she really wants the best for her students. her grading is clear, and unlike other professors, she actually wants to build relationships which is nice. Personally, I felt that this professor taught the lessons very well and was always willing to help people out when they needed it. Math is not my best subject by any means, but I think that if you show up to class frequently enough and take decent notes, you should be alright. Good luck!

Honestly the best professor i've had at queens college. She gives a clear grading criteria. Pretty much show up, participate 2-3 times a class and at least TRY. Loves to make jokes, lectures were long but enjoyable. Def willing to help you if you're struggling. those who didn't like her simply did not show up, pay attention or even try ! TAKE HER!!

Professor Mangiapanello is a great person and excellent at the way she teaches. The course 213w is tough but guess what nothing easy is good !! Be willing to put the extra time in, go to her office hours, and just work hard. She guides the class through the papers and use all the resources. Just finished her 213w and am ready for 311 !

She's a great teacher and is always there for you, but if you need extra help, ask her, don't be shy. Pay attention in class, review the textbook in preparation for tests, and you will do fine. She is kind and considerate. People who usually show up, often do better than those who miss class a lot, so do come to class.

This might sound really biased, but professor Mangiapanello is honestly my favorite professor. I have learned SO MUCH from her classes and she teaches extremely well. What makes her stand out from other professors is that she teaches well, grades fairly, and cares about our grades. This class is not an easy A but if you put in the work, it will be!

Professor Kathleen Mangiapanello is amazing! I'm not good at math and was dreading this class, but she is extremely organized, clear, and teaches you everything you need to know for the exams. 213w is not easy an easy course, it comes along with a lot of hard work. Professor M. is an amazing lecturer, she can give off a mean look but she is the most caring Professors I ever met at QC. I wanted to drop her class cause of the work load and papers , but if you put the work and effort she is there for you. She has a busy schedule so you would have to meet her at her office hours she is really good in explaining stuff.

Dr. M is one of the most amazing professor that teach at QC. Having 213w on a Sunday can be dreadful, I wanted to drop the class but Dr.M gave me the hope to stay. very difficult class but she taught it well. she volunteered to be our professor for 6 hours on a Sunday because the original teacher didn't want to do it. LOTS of papers, grades very harshly but lets you rewrite two papers

I had Dr. M for my psychometric class and I must say that she was a great professor. She gave us mindtap assignments for every chapter. If she didnt go over the material in class then it wont be on the exam. She was fair when it came to grading. I even had a few bumps in the beginning of the semester and she worked with me.

Dr. Mangiapanello is great math teacher. Dr. M breaks down the problems step by step, and I found my notes from class a lot easier to follow than the textbook. Based on this, I would say that attendance is very important. She seems to really want her students to do well, and she gives you all the resources to do so.

213W involved a ton of writing! But Dr.M gave the best feedback comments on each paper. Shes one of the few professors that will fight for students as she saw that 4 papers is a lot for most students who have a full time job and have other classes. She is so funny and always tried to make us laugh. I wish she taught more classes.

This professor is amazing. I took a risk and decided enroll in a summer stats course. Very intense, at one point I thought I was going to fail but prof. M told me to not give up because she saw in me that I cared and I had the power to succeed mind you and I am HORRIBLE at math. but I didn't give up. She TRULY cares. And she's super supportive!!

I was nervous about taking stats over the summer, but I am so glad I did. Dr. M genuinely cares about her students and wants to see them succeed. Statistics can get tedious at times, but she guides you through all the topics step by step, making the really big problems feel very simple. Show her you care about the class, and she'll work with you.

Professor Kat is awesome, she is amazing at what she does and overall she made me love doing stats early in the morning. Her exams are straight forward, 20 mc and 2 math problems. you must come to class because she takes attendance and take really good notes. overall i would take another course with professor Kat bc she makes everything so easy!

Dr Mangiapanello is a real gem. Not only does she answer emails literally the second after you send them, she is so sweet, and explains a tough subject very well. You have to study and work for your grade, but it is not hard to do so if you come to class. Wish she was teaching an undergrad class next sem bc i would take her again in a heartbeat.

She is absolutely amazing, I have taken her twice. First in PSYCH 107 which was relatively easy. Psych 323 was also easy. She grades only on tests but she is very caring and compassionate. There is impossible to fail her class.

I honestly dont think its hard to do well in this class if you show up and pay attention. She is so fair, and by that I mean that the tests are exactly on what we learned in class. No surprises what so ever. She is also very accessible outside of class. Answers emails quicker than lighting!

Professor Mangiapanello made a hard class a hell of a lot easier with how good her teaching is. I had to drop 107 the first time I took it because it was so hard but this semester I was able to do really well. She explains stuff really clearly and gives a lot of extra credit opportunities as well as the chance to retake certain exams.

She also takes time out of her weekends and after class hours to hold review sessions before each exam including the final. She holds review sessions both online and in person to help accommodate all her students.

I have never met a professor as dedicated as Dr. M. There are 5 exams the last being a cumulative final, online homework assignments, and extra credit opportunities. The class itself is a challenge but Dr. M explains the material smoothy. TAKE DETAILED CONCEPTUAL NOTES. Read the textbook and attend Dr. M's review sessions. Tutors make a difference.

The class itself is definitely not easy, however Dr.M explained everything really well. I did find the homework a little pointless though. She offers a lot of extra credit and many zoom review sessions. Make sure you understand your notes as they are critical for exams

Dr. M is very knowledgeable. Attending class is very important, if you miss one lecture you will be clueless the next. She has office hours and offers extra credit. Homework practices were alright, but help understand the conceptual part of this course. This course is heavy, Dr. M does a good job at explaining things but can be fast paced be ready!

She is a good professor and great overall to speak with. But the class overall is super challenging towards the end and the exams was challenging also, I do recommend to take this class seriosuly to get a good grade.

Dr.M is truly a great professor. Math has never been my strong suit but Dr.M explained it which such ease and provided great examples that helped me understand the topics. Make sure to attend review sessions for exams & organize your notes for pt 2 of the exam where its open book. Great professor. She truly cares for her students overall wellbeing.

She makes an effort to learn all her students name & is willing to go over topics again until you understand it. I would take her again if I can. Exams can be a bit hard but if you study each topic well you'll do well.

She truly cares about each student and will do her best to work with each student. She is a very particular grader but gives great feedback.

Caring professor! I took her for lab! The lab manuals are straight forward but I think she is definitely a tough grader. She is great with feedback though and will help you if you ask! She really cares about her students and it shows. This is a tough class so just pay attention !

One of the best professors at queens college. She made stats so fun to learn. I rlly liked how she used to crack some jokes during her lectures and attempt to make the class happy. She did a really good job teaching and helping her students learn. Thank you Dr M for everything you have done. I hope to have you in the future.

She is one of the nicest professors at QC, She teaches at a pace that is easily understandable and she is super helpful if you have questions. She has Zoom sessions before tests to make sure we understand the topic. As long as you keep up, passing this class shouldn't be a problem.

One of the best math teachers I have ever had in my college career. She is very attentive and engaging with her class and makes sure everyone has a chance at passing the class.

she genuinely cares so much about all of the students. and also i am not great at math but she teaches the course in steps and as long as you go to the lectures she will make every effort to make sure you understand the material.
