Great instructor, She cared alot about the students, it was like a mother/instructor kind of thing. Extremely easy final, she indirectly gives the answers to the final on the study guide. Do the homeworks, class activities, GO TO CLASS, ask her questions, listen to the digital tutors and you'll get an A (the quizzes weren't helpful).

Difficult material but Professor Partridge makes it understandable. She really cares if the students understand or not. You have to do the homework and come to class or you will be lost. Also, the TA sessions help a lot.

This is the third time that I have taken this class and Professor Partridge is the best teacher so far. She cares whether you inderstand the material and breaks it down. The TA sessions are very helpful. But, you have to go to class to understand the material and the class is at 8:00, yawn! This is a required class for a lot of us.

Simply put, it's a tough class for most people. There are those that are the exception and get A's through this journey but 68-73% will get C's. Professor Partridge is wonderful and so willing to help. If I was grading her I would give her an "A"

tough class but she wants everyone to do great and really does care. always offers n suggests ways to help yourself. you must do the HW to understand material and breakout sessions help alot. Either way go to class and to breakout and be prepared to buy a couple printer cartridges for powerpoints. overall acct is hard do your work and go 2 breakout

This is a tough class, but if you come to class and breakout, do the homework and the activities, you can get an A. The lecture slides are detailed and are posted before the lectures. Professor Partridge really seems to care how you do in the class. This is the second time that I have taken a class from her and I will take her again if I can.

Very tough class and somewhat boring if you don't care about Accounting. You HAVE to attend because there is graded homework and quizzes. Professor Partridge gives detailed lectures and reviews all homework in detail. If you go to class, you'll understand the material.I recommend taking her.She'll answer all of your questions.

This professor is very good. She explains things well and provides detailed notes which are very helpful. The only problem is that even though attendance is not mandatory, you really have to attend class, otherwise you lose points. Belive me, you need all of the points that you can get.

Professor Partridge is EASY! Her tests are extremely easy! Everyone keeps saying "this class is tough." Professor Partridge presents the material in a crystal clear fashion. Every lecture prepares you DIRECTLY for the test! If you want to do well in Acct 2102, and be rewarded for studying, then take her. If you study and go to class you will pass!

This is a really hard class. The problem is that you have non-accouting majors in the class who don't care about learning the accounting. Then the accounting majors who need to learn. There's so much material. Professor Partridge explains things well, but can go into too much detail for my taste. She knows her stuff and expects you to know it.

This class is great for accoutning majors, but too hard for non-accounting majors. Partridge's lectures are very detailed and you have to go to class and study really hard to pass the class. You will learn a lot but you have to work hard. I would take her again.She cares how you do and will help you when you need extra help.

Nice Professor, She knows her subject well and have plenty of real world examples; however she can go into too many details. NO EXTRA CREDIT but she will drop a few Homework and class activities points help out. Overall it was an interesting class but if you are planning to pass with an A or B, get ready to study a lot!

Partridge is a great teacher for a difficult subject. She clears up the material from the textbook to make it understandable. Very nice and helpful too.

I don't think anyone likes this class. It's a GPA killer. The grading system is totally ridiculous and she gives a comprehensive final (double jeopardy). I hate the Acct department.

Professor Partridge is a very kind and caring teacher. She has expectations for the students, but we ARE in college. Reading the chapter prior to lectures are a must if you want to fully understand the material. It's not a devastating class nor an easy 'A'. It all depends on what effort and mindset you put into it.

I hate Acct but Professor Partridge is the best teacher. She truly cares how you are doing and will go out of her way to help. She comes to class early every day and helps answers questions for students who can't make it to office hours. You have to work very hard she won't just give you a good grade. One of the best!

If you are an Accounting major, Partridge is your best bet. She knows the material and has tons of real world experience. I wish she taught some of the higher level classes. The problem with this class is that there are to many people in it who don't want to be there. I wanted to be there and really learned a lot. Tough exams.

She's like having your mama teach you accounting. She knows the material inside & out, she's the coordinator for the program so she writes the tests, and shes very understanding. The key to both ACCT 2101 & 2102 is do your homework & take the online quizzes to study for tests. Show up every now for the other pts & you'll be fine

ACCT 2102 is easier than 2101 and the professor is great. Prepare to study hard, and you can get an A.

Tough but fair and you learn a lot. Partridge cares how her students do and will help you pass the class. I highly recommend her and wish she taught more classes. Be prepared to work hard though.

Teaching style is very boring and monotone. However, her notes are very detailed and good. Just keep up with the homework and quizzes and you will be fine. She is a nice teacher that is willing to help you

This class is extremely hard. If you don't have to take it, don't take it. If you do, take Partridge. She cares how you do and her lectures and notes are the best. Don't expect her to make exceptions, she won't. I would take her again, but gratefully, I don't have to.

Difficult class but mandatory for all business majors. The good thing is that there is a lot of help if you don't understand something, TA's SI, practice quizzes and online tutors. Partridge is fair but won't bend the rules at all. Sticks to the syllabus

Good class, but it was in a large lecture hall, so you didn't really get to know the teacher that well. She still taught very well and clearly, but grades are based on 2 tests, homework, participation points, and a final.

Good at explaining difficult concepts and using real business situations. I recommend taking her for this class.

Great teacher who explains concepts very easily. Remember this is an ACCOUNTING class, it will be very dry and boring, but if you pay attention the class is not that hard.If you have trouble go to tutoring. Good luck!

This is a difficult course but the professor really cares about how you are doing and if you understand the information. It's not the most interesting subject, but Partridge does a good job explaining. If you need to take this class, take her.

The material is hard at first but when you practice it, its really not that bad. Just do the practice problems she does in class, the practice quizzes, and go to the si you will do fine. Class is boring but that's what you expect from accounting. Her tests are fair, but don't cram the night before!

You will learna lot in class. Class is not listed as mandatory, but there are class activities and you'll miss points that you need if you miss class. Partridge goes out of her way to help everyone in the class. She is so nice it's like your mother is teaching you. Take her for this class.

Pofessor Partridge is so nice and such a great teacher. I had her for a night section of 2101 last semester and I am taking her again for 2102 even though I have to attend an 8:00 AM class. The best thing about her is that she really cares how you do in the class. You do have to attend class and do the work. Accounting is a difficult subject.

Partridge and Clark are similar in that they both stick to the rules in the syllabus. If you think you are going to get an exception, forget it. Partridge is very helpful and provides tons of resources to help you with the material. I recommend her and think she does a great job. Plus, she is very nice and cares about how you do in the class.

Partridge does a good job explaining the concepts and she tries to make sure that everyone understands before she moves on to new material. In a class of 300, this is hard and some students never read the book. If you don't go to class you will lose points. This class is tough with tough exams. Go to class to earn participation points and complete the assignments. These are easy points and will help your grade. Also, each exam has 2 free questions which can help your grade. Be prepared to study and don't skip class. With 300 students, you have to go to the Acct lab or SI for help.

I took Professor Partridge for both Accounting 1 and 2 and I wish she taught more Accounting classes. She is so helpful, cares if you understand and is willing to answer lots of questions in class. You have to come to class and she sticks to the syllabus, so you will work for your grade. I got an A and learned a lot.

Accounting is a hard subject but study guides are on point so as long as you study, and do many practice problems, you should do fine. do all homeworks and excel assignments. these little points really do help in the end. tests add up to be 80% of your grade

If you can't pass this class with Professor Partridge, then you can't pass. Not the most interesting topic, but she helps you pass the exams by giving both a study guide and a class review session. Take her. She cares how you do.

Partridge makes up for two hard midterms by giving an easy final exam which is worth 300 points. She gives you a detailed study guide and reviews exam questions during the last class. You definitely have to work for it, but she is fair. I got an A-.

All notes online. Online weekly homework (can retake until its a 100). SI available. She answers all question through D2L and will work them out and send it to you. There's "pop" attendance checks. You can only miss two.

Great teacher! Her powerpoint are so helpful and clear. You have to go to class as she takes attendance, but she drops the 2 lowest attendance grades. Just like other accounting classes the homework is on learnsmart. Her lectures are very clear. I always felt well prepared going into the tests. Review powerpoints and practice quizzes for the tests

Accounting is boring for me, but she made it easier than most people said it would be. She's always available to help you, and she replies to email within 24 hours which is helpful with her Saturday exams. 2 exams and 12 class activities which basically monitor attendance.

I took this class over the summer and i thought it was going to be SUPER hard. Key to success- POWERPOINTS. I got a C, but I did all my Learnsmart & Class activities. I got a C+, F & C on the tests, and came out with a solid C. I did not study for the second test at all (not recommended). but the material is not TOO hard. Acct 2101 was harder.

Do the practice problems in the book and also read the book. Reading and practicing can make up for anything.

This professor is very accessible and always willing to help. The problem is that this course is easy for accounting majors but tough for the rest of us. Go to every class and earn all activity and Learnsmart points. This can really help your grade. I would take Partridge again and wish she taught more courses.

This professor basically spoon feeds you the information including a review before every class and a detailed study guide. All through the semester she'll make comments about what you should know for exams. Take good notes, listen to what she says during class and the reviews and you'll make an easy A.

Partridge teaches to the non-accounting majors since that is the majority of the class. This makes the class really easy for accounting majors and a little boring. She has a good teaching style and tries to answer all questions in class. She is very approachable and willing to talk to you regarding your career. I wish she taught upper level class

Mrs. Partridge is AMAZING!!!!! I took her class twice, and yes I missed the cutoff by 10 points. I took her again and I definitely made a better grade. I really enjoyed her class both times. You do need to pay attention, and she is there to help you. She really does stick to her syllabus, and goes by it. Definitely take her you won't regret it.

Professor Partridge is awesome. She cares about the students and works hard to make sure everyone understands the material. She answers all questions and provides lots of resources if you need them. I don't like accounting but I loved this class. I highly recommend you take her if you have to take Acct 2102.

If you have to take this class, take Partridge. She's awesome. I wish she taught more classes. The class is hard, you may not be interested in accounting, but you will learn something about business. She worked in industry for a long time.

If you have have to take this course, take Partridge. She's the main professor at GSU for this course and makes up the exams. It's not the most exciting class you will take, but she tries to make sure everyone understands the material. She gives a study guide and review for each exam. She's good, you won't regret taking her. I would take her again.

She's the best. She really cares about the students in her class and is helpful both in class and outside of class. She even brought me the required list of accounting courses that I would take to get an accounting degree. The course is tough, but if you need to take it, I recommend Partridge.

Partridge's class is pretty tough. I'm not going to lie. Accounting is a pretty challenging subject on its own. However, not impossible. Doing practice problems and reading the text extensively will definitely help your grade. Her power points are super clear and explains concepts pretty easily. She sticks to the syllabus. This was my second time taking the class. The material was the same as the last semester. Do the examples she presents in class and practice them over and over again. I also attended her office hours for extra help, she is very helpful. There is online homework every week. Do all the assignments and review the activites!!!!!!

Partridge tries her best in a class of over 300 students. Accounting is a tough subject and she knows her stuff, but the way the university has the class set up puts students at a disadvantage. Accounting is a subject that needs more individualized attention for students, teaching it in a lecture hall isn't effective for this subject.

Is it weird how I grew to like accounting after taking her class? She is so sweet and takes her time to teach. Go to class and do the examples, because they really do help when it comes exam time. Practice those examples from class and the textbook and you'll do well. Take good notes on those examples too! She gives out helpful hints.

We had 2 exams, 1 final, 10 homework assignments, and 10 in-class assignments. The second exam is the most difficult test out of the three. Make sure you understand the information. The professor does her best at trying to explain the material, but Accounting is a hard subject to comprehend. Overall, she is a great professor.

Accounting was hard for me. This class is not an easy A, but its not hard to pass. There are 2 tests and a final. The first test was the easiest to me, the second test was the hardest, and the final was ok. She wants you to get full credit for homework and the quizzes so go to class.

If you are a business major you have to take this class. Even though I am not an accounting major, I could see the connection to other business majors and actually enjoyed the class. You do have to go to class because there are unscheduled activity grades. Partridge came out of the business and does a good job related the material to real world.

Regardless of your professor, Accounting 2 will most likely be the hardest class you'll take for your core curriculum. While she has a very mono-tone voice, Partridge does a good job at attempting to make extremely boring material interesting. Your overall grade consists of two tests & the final, with barely any weight for homework. STUDY UP!

Monotone voice, but super nice. I could have easily gotten an A if I bothered to put in any effort. PowerPoint were always posted online and she gave practice tests and rewiews.

As a non-accounting major, I was worried about this class. I found it interesting, particularly how Professor Partridge relates the class to the real business world and current topics in business. You have to work and she follows the rules of the syllabus, but she is very fair. Also, I found her very helpful and caring, when you go to her office.

A great professor for a 3 week course. incredible detail and makes you feel as if she really wants you to pass. Very refreshing teaching style since i have been here at Georgia States.
