Salmeron does a very good job of handling ridiculous amounts of material in a short time. She breaks topics down so they are easily understood, never moves forward without checking students' understanding, and is clear about what you need to know. Do not just skim your notes! She often latches onto very specific topics for several exam questions.
Cannot say enough good things about this professor. It was her first year teaching and she killed it. Incredibly sweet, funny, and understanding. She gets through a lot of material in a short amount of time, but still explains everything in so much detail and at a good pace. One of the hardest classes I have taken, but she makes it so much easier.
I had to take this class for my major, and I have to say that I won't be following up with ANA 110 with her. Her tests are quite hard and she will speed through the powerpoint. You must pay attention in class and study right after as to not lose what you learned. I was recommended to take it online so as to save my time and gpa.
Exams were very different than study guides and things she talked about during class. Many people didnt do good in her class and averages on exams could be anywhere from a 55 to a 70.
This is definitely the most difficult class I have ever taken. I think that the professor does a pretty good job, but she will often zoom through the material in the 50 minute time period to get as far as she can. It's very fast paced, but as long as you watch the echoes to study and go to office hours, you'll be just fine.
She is a nice lady, but her class is definitely challenging don't get me wrong. I would rewatch the lectures, do quizlets, and all the work and still struggle with the exams. STUDY a lot. Pay close attention to some things she says during lecture, little things she says will show up on exams so try not to miss anything. my quizlet: maddyjacoby
Dr. Salmeron is an excellent professor, especially considering this was her first semester. She did a great job of thoroughly explaining a ton of material in a short amount of time. I started studying a week in advance for the exams and got A's on all of them.
Dr. Salmeron is sweet, but unorganized/ unclear. Her powerpoints vs things said aloud are often contradicting (misinformation). Sometimes she'll say we don't need to know something but still put it on the exam. Exams are worded weird and very application based. It's a tough course, but an A is manageable if you put the work in. (ANA109/110)
The absolute worst. Her exams are super difficult and asks material on the exam that she very breifly mentions in class and does not put on the lecture notes.
Very difficult class, her tests are so hard and theres little to no extra credit so your grades are based on what you get on the test. Some book work helps your grade but its very difficult
Salmeron does an excellent job at tackling a giant lecture filled with many students who don't show up but still expect an A. There is a lot of material in this course no matter who teaches it, and Salmeron does a great job at giving information as clearly and concisely as possible, with clear exam criteria. Do homework and go to class.
Salmeron is a very good professor. She does not choose what material is included in the course, and she does a great job managing the content. Grades are clearly explained and are based on exams, homework, and labs. Exams are built directly from study objectives given. Yes, you will have to work. Go to class, pay attention, and let her help you.
Good professor. It's a hard class, but she does everything she can to help students. Lots of material, so it's important to pay attention in class. Exams are made from study objectives she gives for each unit and everything is from the lecture, either written or spoken. Grades are clear and are from exams, homework, and labs.
I'm a freshman and Dr. Salmeron was one of my favorite professors this past year. I took ana 109 and 110, and she did amazing in both especially since this was her first year teaching. She does everything she can to help her students, and make sure you're truly grasping the material. Is the class tough? Yes, but so is nursing, so she prepares you.
Dr. Salmeron is by far the best professor I've ever had. A kind individual who's caring and understanding while also knowing what she's talking about. She's really down to earth and I would take this class again. The class isn't easy but as long as you study efficiently, you can easily get an A or B. Nothing bad to say except the book is expensive
Seriously don't let the few bad comments scare you into not taking this class. Dr. Salmeron is the best professor and she's human and takes criticism very well. As long as you actually study, you can absolutely get an A or B in the class. The lectures are really interesting and the tests require a bit of critical thinking. Dr. Salmeron is the best
as long as you properly study, critically think and put two and two together, you can absolutely get a good grade in this class. Dr. Salmeron is truly the best professor Ive had and she is always open to communicate and discuss anything. This isnt a class where you can skim over notes, cram, and end up with a good grade. You have to put the work in
Anatomy is hard no matter which way you cut it. ANA 109 is definitely a little more difficult than 110. You have to work for your grade. But Dr. Sal (and the TAs) do everything they can to help you. They WANT you to succeed. All you have to do is show up, study, do your hw, and ask for help when you need it.
Salmeron is such an amazing professor. If you talk to her about what youre struggling with she will go above and beyond to catch you up and to help you better understand ! Anatomy is a tough class to follow but she makes sure you really know the material. Overall amazing professor! Hilarious, sweet, and devoted !
Dr. Sal is an amazing professor. She really cares about her students and knows what shes talking about. You have to study and know the material or you wont pass. You really get what you put into the class. My second year taking this class and its going a whole lot better the second time around
Dr. S was an exceptionally great teacher. She really cares about her students and has always been great at giving out the most she can for her students. She has students hours that help a lot for studying for tests and also gives and extra credit point when there is new content. I highly recommend Dr. S and would take her class again.
Dr. S is the best teacher I have ever had. She really cares about her students. She provides extra credit and is very kind. I love talking to her. Its Important to understand your note packet and take time to study. If you like science (chem/bio) and how the body works you will love this class! I have an A+.
I took her ANA 109 and 110 class for my required nursing credits. She is the BEST! I would take classes from her a lot. She gives note packets to fill out and has lots of student hours. Always provides study guides and study materials. Exams are somewhat difficult and prepare to be tested every other week. But she is always available for questions
Dr. Salmeron is amazing! This class is very difficult but she does a wonderful job of teaching the content to her students. She is always willing to help explain something if you don't understand it! If you're taking ANA109, I highly recommend that you go to every office hours session that she has. She also offers extra credit for each unit!
Dr. Sal did a great job teaching this course online! Make sure to redo the homework assignments to get the best score possible- it can help your grade and do every extra credit opportunity! The exams can be tough, so my advice is to start studying the material early so you don't have so much to get through the night before the exam.
Dr. Salmeron has by far been my favorite professor of my freshman year. She is more than happy to answer any questions, and to help you throughout this course. Especially with COVID she has been very understanding, and is always happy to elaborate more on material. Her tests are harder but she gives you great lectures, all you have to do is try!
This women is the absolute SWEETEST. If you have to option to take her class, do it! She is extremely caring and understanding. The tests are difficult, so make sure you study a lot, but she is a great instructor and actually wants you to succeed. She is also very friendly and personable. 10/10 experience.
Dr. Salmeron has been my favorite professor ever! She is so understanding and cares so much about her students. Tests can be hard, but as long as you take all of lecture notes and study in advance you will do well. I also recommend going to the SI and TA sessions, they help a lot! You have a smartbook, 6 lectures, a lab and homework a week!
There's an online lab every week with unlimited attempts and 2 open note lab practical exams. Overall, a super easy A and a great supplement to ANA209.
Such a sweet prof. Her class includes a lot of information, but she is incredible about making sure everyone understands what she is explaining. This is not an easy A class, but if you put in time and effort, you will be successful.
I had Dr. Sal for 1.5 yrs. She is relatable, kind & cares about students learning then applying the content taught. I've had her when she did & didn't use guided notes for her lectures, so her effort to help students succeed is genuine. But the content of this class, and especially the exams, are excruciating at times. Expect to be challenged.
Best professor I have had so far. She makes the class extremely interesting and is super helpful, however, you HAVE to study for this class a lot in order to get a good grade.
literally the best professor i had first semester. she was very supportive and always available for help. i ended up with an A in the class. i did have to work really hard, but the content is easy to understand and very interesting. listen in class and review your notes and youll be good!
One of the most wonderful professors I've ever had! She's incredible and very kind! The content is challenging, but she is excellent at bringing you to other resources for help! She is available after class and is always up for a conversation!
shes a great teacher!!! just make sure to thoroughly study your notes for the tests, and you should do fine. shes very understanding as well, and if you go to her after hours, she may give you points back and tell you what you got wrong.
Dr. Sal is an amazing professor. It is a tough course, and you definitely have to work hard to get a good grade, but if you put in the effort you will be okay! She is so knowledgeable and I learned so much in the class. Be prepared to study a lot though... it's not an easy A.
Teacher is tough and gives assignments right before test dates that affect study time. Would not recommend
This professor is the worst, avoid.
Dr. Sal is the best, most understanding professor Ive had in my college career. Shes expects respect, academic integrity, and effort. Its the hardest class Ive taken but if you put in all of your effort and a ton of time you will do well. Dont expect to do well if youre not all in.
Dr. Salmeron is seriously the best professor ever. It is very apparent how much she cares for her students. Her lectures are recorded so you don't have to attend, but her lectures are extremely informative. The course is definitely difficult, but if you put the work and effort into the class you'll do just fine. She is always willing to help.
Any negative review is false. She is hands down the most understanding professor I've had. The class is very difficult but she makes it as easy as she can and gives lots of extra credit chances. She easily will allow you to push back exams if you need it because she is THAT understanding. TAKE HER! Very funny, relatable, and loved her students
this is a four-credit class so PREPARE to work for those credits. her class is very fast-paced but make sure to always do your notes and study for the exams. She's so understanding and always wants the best for her students. I really suggest going over your exams with her because you learn a lot more and is always wanting to help out
Dr. Sal is the BEST! She is seriously one of the best professors I have ever had. She makes her lectures so much fun and genuinely makes me laugh in every single class. You can tell how passionate she is about teaching and what she teaches! You can get a good grade in this class if you put the work in, she is reasonable and will help you succeed!
I would give my left kidney for this woman. She is an amazing teacher and an even better person. Lectures are enjoyable and you learn a lot. Everything you're tested on is in the notes taken in class. would take her again for any class she offers.
She tries her best to make topics easier to learn and even remember important information by making impromptu scenes involving students to act the topic. She is very caring and understanding, she will postpone exams or reschedule it if the circumstance is necessary. She's one of my fav professor and will totally recommend even with the 8 am sched.
Dr. Salmeron is always willing to help you if you put in the effort. She spends the time to make sure everyone is understanding even though there are many people in the class. She will make time to make sure you succeed if you need help or reach out. If you put in the effort you will do well.
She's the best!
Dr. S is a fantastic educator. Her class is challenging, and you earn the grade you deserve, but she offers extra credit, and as long as you put in the work, you should have no problem doing well in this class. The people that struggle tend to lack effort. Dr. S is always willing to go over things or backtrack during lectures if people are confused
My Favorite Professor!!!!!!!!
Dr. Salmeron is a great teacher and cares about her students. She doesn't take attendance, but going to class is going to be the best way to understand the material. Tests are usually every 2-3 weeks but material only comes from the notes taken in class. She offers extra credit opportunities and 3 weekly assignments to keep grades afloat.
Dr.Salmeron is great professor. She is passionate about teaching ANA 109 in the class. Very helpful professor and I like ANA 109 because this class has many opportunities and extra credits that I can boost up my grade. I got an A in midterm. It was very hard to get an A, but I think was worth it. But hard thing was there are so many tests. Total: 6
I really enjoyed ANA 109 class but I spent so much time studying ANA 109 to prepare other classes. But it is great that there are many extra credits and smartbook assignments and homeworks (labs) to improve the grade. One of my favorite favorite class^^. Tests grades are managable if we study really hard. But the tests aren't easy. Average: 69~76
Attendance is not required so you can always watch the Echo 365 video but go to class might be helpful than learn in the video. You can choose. Here is my concern. I have some concerns that this class is good but especially CHE 103 & ANA 109, there are so many students take in both class. I feel like UK has to stop admitting many student.
Agree with the previous comments. There are so many Pre-Nursing student who take ANA 109 & CHE 103 for the fall semester. I really like ANA 109 class but there are many people in one class. I can't imagine that 500 students are taking Pre-Nursing this year. BTW, Dr.Salmeron is wonderful professor! One of the best professors I've meet in Pre-Nursing
the BEST professor hands down. so accommodating, explains things super well, cares about her students, jokes during class, is a great person to talk to. the class has a heavy workload but she does her best to help us comprehend it all
Good professor and good class but this class has a lots of homework, tests which can impact most of the time studying, putting an effort. I really liked extra credit opportunities in ANA 109. Difficulty was to take 6 exams total in 1 semester and the exam goes by 2 weeks.
I really like to say Dr.Salmeorn is truly the best professor I've ever seen. She is very helpful, nice and kind to the ANA 109 classmates and she also understands each students situation or difficulties. Dr.Salmeron tries to help students to find many options and ways to lead students to become more successful way to achieve ANA 109. Best of Best:)
Dr.Salmeron is a very nice professor and was great to have for ANA 109. If you miss a class, all of the lectures are live-recorded, but going to class helps. This is NOT an easy class though. If you don't study ALL the time you will fail.
Class is good, professors and TA's are kind, however the test is very difficult. Sometiems the test is based off of the lecture. Other than that, it's okay. Worth to take it. But this class is 4 credit which is really big credit so be prepared to study to get at least minimum C. Try to get an A or B in this class. But getting an A is very difficult

BE PREPARED To STUDY to get an A. This is More challenging class and you should probably have to study outside of the class.more and more Like as CHE 103 but this class is so much better than CHE103. Must do the extra credit. MUST so you can either get A or B. Study and review EVERY DAY so you can safely go to college of nursing.
Dr.Salmeron is okay for professor but one thing I want to say is that Dr.Salmeron sometimes goes lecture too fast. Too fast to take a note during the lecture. I hope Dr.Salmeron goes little bit slower to give students a time to take a note. And for the exam, It is good but too much, and too hard. Espcially Idk why the exams are out of the material.
So fast during the lecture. I can't write down the note. Exam is very difficult. Usually when I take the exam, the test questions are coming from outside of the material that we covered in class. Sometimes I feel like I want to give up and change pre-nursing to other major. But it's not yet to give up. The only reason I come to uk is bc of nurising
Fast, fast, fast. A Little Slow tempo needed.
I like the professors and TA's in both ANA 109 and ANA 110 but actually I don't like this class. The most stressful thing for studying in ANA 109 and 110 is not about the difficulty of the course but "4 credits". Especially entering before nursing school as a pre-nursing course is somehow very difficult for me. I always thought myself to give up.
Not an easy class. Not all the students will be dropped this course or che 103 and also changing their major but the reason "WHY" many people changing their major is proabably because of the much more "difficulty" of the course including ANA 109, ANA 110 and plus CHE 103. I do not want to say more but people already dropped out. Nursing isn't easy
Yes....... I actually agree with the previous reviews. 4 credit is such a big amount of credit that can impact the GPA in transcript. Even if it is 1 credit or 3 credit like nursing 101, uk 101, art, biology 103 and CIS 110,111... it doesn't impact much but 4 credits like chemistry 103, anatomy 109 & 110 those subjects are very very stressful!
I can't give full rate of 5 for ANA 210. 99% are great but tiny tiny little 1% isn't good enough. Lack of 1%. Covering 1% will be a full 5.0 quality in this class.
Having total 6 exams including final in 1 semester is likely to say tired. Almost stayed late until 4 am putting my ANA 109 everytime before exam comes at Willy T library.
My recommendation is study Anatomy and Physiology and also biology and chemistry right NOW if you got accepted into UK College of Nursing. You'll first start pre-nursing bc it is not an direct program. Study earlier for anatomy, chemistry, biology before you go to start pre-nursing.
If you are not studying before you go to UK, then you'll probably be too late to get a satisfied grade in pre-nursing.
If you are not reviewing and study, then you'll fail.
Not the best or worst. It is fun class. But the more fun thing in this class is that you definitely have to "pass" this course. That is more fun than enjoying class. That's all you know~
This class is the first and also the last class.
209 is much more difficult than 109,110
It is hard because this is an entry course before going to Nursing School. I sometimes feel like Pre-Nursing is like a medical school.
ANA 109, ANA 110 is somehow also named All Nippon Airways flight 109,110 but in UKY, it is called ANATOMY.
I don't think Dr.Salmeron is the BEST professor teaching Anatomy in University of KY, Lectures are too fast every time, tests are a lot, too heavy and very tough. Every time when I see the test questions, some questions come from outside of the material. Too much and too difficult. And these made people very stressful to get a grade at some point.
Passed this course so it's lucky for me somehow but just not satisfied with the grade. I think many people are taking ANA 109, ANA 110 but 209 and 210 is very very harder. But the truth is not 109 & 110 are also difficult to achieve the grade.
We really don't have to be perfect because it is difficult course. Also we really don't have to get all A. Why? Because we are not the same people who have the same ability. And it's not the end of the world. The only thing for success in the class is not to get an A but just PASS the course.
Almost likely to say ANA 109,110 is very similar like CHE 103. Hard to get a grade, 4 credits which is really stressful to see your grade in transcript, difficult to achieve. I don't think there's a much big difference between those 3. People just hate chemistry course for somewhat reason but I think anatomy, chemistry they're just same. PSY worst.
Wow....wasn't easy. I'm not sure if only 1 professor teaches Anatomy at University of Kentucky.
Dr.S is just an average professor. Not too bad but she is in the middle line.
Not good. When she said the announcement recently in canvas about the homework deadlines. I realized how it is quite unfair for many students. Because the professor extended the deadline for many students who submitted work late and many of them already have many A's at this point and this is kind of very very disappointing.
I really don't know why Dr.Salmeron extends the late assignment. Pretty unfair for sure. And I can't understand she did that last semester. But the most misunderstanding thing is that why she posted the announcement this semester not last semester? Then definitely other students think it's really unfair and not equal for all to get a grade.
I didn't realize this thing happened in our class until Dr.S sent the announcement to all about homwork deadlines but when she posted the announcement and saw it, I was just upset. The reason is because normally, late homework is not acceptable but she already did it to extend students deadline in the last semester because of the "first year".
The things people have to know is that there are some students who are keeping the homework deadline and completed earlier, trying to study hard no matter what grade they receive in the anatomy class. Don't make students feel disappointing again. Especially late assignment = unacceptable. This has to be a reasonable thing why student submit hw late
This is just an entry course but both ANA 109 and ANA 110 they are so hard. Study almost over 10 hours every day. I'm literally so tired and sleepy. I want some 7 hours sleep. LOL
Really have to study and review every day after class is done and it's a lot important for both ANA 109 & ANA 110. But this class isn't that easy. College Anatomy is way much harder and challenging than the high school anatomy material you learn. So my recommendation is to study College Anatomy and Physiology materials and that will be much helpful
Extra credit opportunities are great however, it's just a small tinny tiny point to boost your grade so it is not worth for B and C grade students. The only benefit for extra credit opportunities is A grade students. Yes for sure. I'm NOT kidding. And well, you can try to get an A in this class but it is NOT very EASY to achieve in this class.
Tests can make your grade go up or go down. Not an easy class for sure. And don't be surprised that there are over 636 pre-nursing student are now in pre-nursing at Uof KY but when it gets closer to the 2nd semester, you'll see that many people will drop and change courses or even change their major. Average is usually 60~70 in ANA 109/110.
Averages -- Exam 1: 37.5, Exam 2: 76.1, Exam 3: 75.7, Exam 4: 68.2, Exam 5: 74.6, Exam 6: 67.3. The average usually is between 60~70s. Definitely hard. First exam was the exception because exam 1 is just for 50 points. Exam 2~6 are all 100 points worth. That's why exam 1 average shows 37.5. Hard. If you want to succeed, STUDY ALL DAY 24 hours.
For the future nurses, I hope Dr.Salmeron understands student that she does not have to accept late assignment. (No extension for late HW)
I will never take this again. Never.
Most of the people are blaming Dr.soult and the reviews are all focused into blaming Chemistry 103. But you definitely have to know who you really have to blame. Tough grader isn't a big deal most professors aren't that kind and nice also giving grades easily but accepting late homework and extending is definitely truly a bad instructor.
Well, Well, Well. You can actually TRY to get an A, but one thing you'll have to know is that it's NOT AN EASY COURSE!!!!!!
Dr.Salmeron is sweet woman for sure but you definitely have to save your mental health. She is sweet but you'll be contradict with her when you take the exam. You definitely have to be prepared for the big exam. But you also have to prepare your MENTAL. Good Luck
She is just okay. Not that Worst but Not the Best too.
You'll definitely cry someday when you take this class.
This proessor isn't that difficult but what is more difficult is the Exam. I never took 109,110 class because I'm not a pre-nursing major but 209, 210 is very very difficult. Because they are 200 level course. As number goes higher, much difficulty it will be. Anyway, professor helps a lot but exam doesn't help a lot. This class is hard so study.

I think the professor makes to much pressure to us in the class.
Who is more better? Allison Soult? Kathleen Salmeron? Really difficult to answer
Fun class.
110 course is more difficult than ANA 109.
In Chemistry 103 course, the participation so called "Iclicker" is just like as a gift card. In Anatomy class, there is also a gift card provide benefit to students. The gift card is likely to say Smartbook Assignment, Lab and other extra homeworks and plus, tiny tinny little extra credit. So funny and I always laughed a lot in that class bahahahah
I Personally think Dr.Salmeron is really better than any other professors that I've met in Univeristy of Kentucky. Dr.S is the best. She won't let students to be fail in this class. Even though the exam is sort of difficult, she gives lots of opportunities to maintain the grade which is amazing.
Dr. Sal is an amazing teacher. She makes it a lot of fun to come to lectures every day and is relatable, understanding, and downright funny. She even gives extra credit for every exam and midterms and finals aren't cumulative which is really nice. There are usually one or two curves on each test and if you have her, you are in for a great semester.
Just satisfied Just Okay with my last semester midterm and final Anatomy grade. Also, Dr. S is just fine. Just Okay not 100% perfect but you know, she is totally fine :) This class is actually better than the chemistry 103. Take this class with her. Highly recommended. Also for tips, study earlier for anatomy and other science courses.
Kathleen was amazing her lectures were super fun to sit through she is funny but gets the teaching done and effectively.
Average.
This professor is amazing. She gives great lectures and answers every question to the best of her ability. She really cares about her students and wants everyone to succeed.
Was actually better than CHE 103 because this course has some extra credit opportunities and it doesn't have tons of assignment in ANA 110, so the overall experience in this class was great but still it is hard to reach to get an A.
Dr. Sal is AMAZING! She is the best professor I have ever had and is so funny! She is super accommodating and really cares about her students! I would recommend her class to anyone! It is a lot of work but so is nursing! She explains things in way anyone can understand and is just 11/10!
Less amount of homework, many opportunities which is a tik-tok or non tik-tok extra credit in this course to boost up a grade little percentage and some great TA's. But this class is still not easy to get a A even though you get the extra credit becuase of the exam. Exam takes the large percentage of this class. Except exam, this course is the best
Less pressure than the chemistry 103 course and feeling easier than that class, some extra credit opportunities to maintain or boost up the grade. But this course isn't that easy to get an A. I tried both 109 and 110 class to get an A for both semester, but I got the same grade for both semester. Not bad but it was hard for me to get an A. Goodluck
Easy but terrible class
The class was just So So, and If there was a chance to take other professors in the options of an Anatomy or Chemistry, I would probably not select Kathleen Salmeron or Allison Soult.
best teacher ever. I love her. made the 8am easy to go to
Dr Salmeron is my queen and she makes an extremely hard class really fun. We did have 6 exams in total (including the final) which was kind of a lot. She also gives a decent amount of homework but it never takes long to complete. This class will kick your ass frequently but she does give a good amount of extra credit.
DR. SAL IS AWESOME!! she makes lecture interesting & truly cares about her students. you do not need to get the mcgraw hill workbook, lectures are videotaped, many opportunities for extra credit, etc. definitely make sure to study the study guides because they are just like the exams
LOVE LOVE LOVE her :)))))
Dr. Salmeron is an amazing professor. She truly cares about her students and wants to see everyone succeed. She is super funny and energetic, even at 8am. Her class is not easy, but if you put in the work you will do fine. Definitely would recommend her to anyone!
She doesn't care about her 209 class like she does with her 109 classes. I took her for both and she didn't give extra credit for 209 nor let them retake the test. When her class average dropped in my class she got really mad and blamed us. The exams were like a foreign language and didn't make any sense. My classes average on exams were 30%.
AMAZING
i have had dr. sal for the entire year & she is easily one of the best in the game. she is super knowledgeable, wants all her students to succeed, gives extra credit, is quick to answer emails, etc. DO NOT GET THE WORKBOOK, though, that is my only pet peeve of the class, did not open it
Dr. Salmeron is absolutely my favorite college professor I've ever had!!!!! She is so caring for her student's and is always there for you if you need anything. The class is lecture heavy so make sure you go to class so you don't fall behind. She gives tons of opportunities to get your grade up with giving extra credit every unit.
AWESOME AWESOME PROFESSOR!!! If you have a choice for an anatomy professor, TAKE DR. SAL! The class is difficult whether or not you have a great professor, but Dr. Sal will make the class so much easier. Her analogies made the class so much easier to understand. I cried during the last class knowing I wouldn't have her again. She is awesome!
Extra Credit Opportunities available for every unit in ANA 109 and 110. It is a lecture heavy class and if you're behind in lecture then you WILL be lost. Lectures are recorded and posted so if you miss class you're able to rewatch. Study guides are made for every exam and are very very helpful, an answer key is also posted 2 days before the exam.
Dr. Salmeron is the best professor ever! She makes class super enjoyable and she is so funny. Tests can be hard depending on the content, but she does provide study guides which help a lot. There are a ton of extra credit opportunities to boost your grade. The class is very lecture heavy but they are recorded if you ever feel lost or get behind.
Terrible class
I will never take her again.
Mrs. S was my favorite teacher of the year!
Professor Salmeron is such an amazing professor! She cares about her students and especially if they're going through a tough time. She knows that Anatomy is hard but gives study guide after study guide along with plenty of SI sessions. I would absolutely take her class all over again!
Dr. Sal is by far the BEST professor I have had thus far. She genuinely cares for her students, wanting the best for them. She makes class fun even during not so fun material! Class is hard if you don't put the work in, tons of memorization, but if you go to class, take notes, and study, obtaining an A is easy work.
Dr. Salmeron's class is lecture-heavy but engaging. The exams can be challenging, but the study guides and extra credit opportunities help boost your grade. unstuckstudy was a lifesaver for my test prep.
Dr. Salmeron is an amazing professor! The class is lecture HEAVY, so showing up to class is very important. She gives extra credit opportunities and has assignments that goes along with the unit, so it helps boost your grade. There are also SI sessions that are super helpful, so if you have the chance to go, GO!!!
Dr. Sal is the best!! So sweet, energetic, personable, and knowledgeable. You have to put in a good amount of work outside of class but it is all worth it and you will learn so much!
best professor for such a hard class!! this was the one class i was super stressed about but for as hard as it was she did the best. she could and gave extra credit opportunities. just do all the work outside of class and you will be fine
Dr. Sal is easily one of the best professors I have ever had. She teaches such a hard class but somehow makes it so understandable to her students. You can tell she actually cares about you passing from the first day of classes. She is also very funny and makes all of her lectures entertaining when the content may not be your favorite.
Absolutely amazing professor I would take her for every class if I could. She is so funny and keeps the class engaged. The class itself is a bit difficult but she and the other professors are VERY straightforward on what you need to know for the exam and they provide extra credit opportunities.
She will make you laugh so hard even at an 8:00 class. She always gives real word examples and breaks down content into simple concepts for us. She genuinely wants you to ask questions and to reach out if you need help. The way that she teaches is so memorable and has helped me to understand very complex concepts quite easily.
Easily one of the best professors I have had. She genuinely wants her students to succeed and she cares very much about each student. She is so funny and gives real world examples to try and help you understand the topic better. Highly recommend Dr. Sal.
She is great
She is amazing and really cares about her students. The lectures are hard but she really wants you to succeed.
hard lectures, tests, doesn't explain things great.
Professor Sal was an amazing professor. As a pre-nursing student, she really makes sure her anatomy lectures include applied clinical scenarios. I find that the people who hate her class the most are the people who don't show up to lecture and get behind on work. She is so intelligent and explains the material so well. HIGHLY recommend her class!!!
Professor Sal is an amazing professor; I couldn't recommend enough. I found that the people who hated her class the most were people who didn't show up to the lecture or do the homework. As a pre-nursing major, she always includes clinically based scenarios for each unit that help make sense of the content. She also drops test questions in class!
I honestly believe that if someone is struggling in this class, they're just not studying. It is very easy to make a good grade if you actually put some effort into the material (the tests are easy). As for the professor, she is very caring for her students, makes lectures fun, and does everything in her power to make sure you succeed. Don't Cheat!
I honestly think that if you just study and put some effort into studying, you will do just fine. I have heard people find the pacing to be fast paced, but this was not my personal experience. I may be bias because anatomy is so intresting to me, but this class was really not that bad. Love the professor! Very passionate about teaching!
She is so sweet and respectable, you can tell she really cares about you
This class is pretty difficult as there is a lot of content for a short course. STUDY a lot. Exams are pretty much every other week. She is a great teacher and her lectures are great. There is a lot of homework but it brings your grade up a ton. The textbook is pretty helpful but it is included in the course and online. She offers extra credit too.
Expect a great lecturer who is very funny and provides plenty of insight to her subject. Annotated slides and focus questions are provided for you, so you will know pretty much exactly what to study. With that being said, you will HAVE to study a good amount, this A is an earned one, not a given one. It's not an impossible class, but it is hard.
Good teacher, likable. Lots of exams and homework. This class was honestly just hard to get into the flow of things but once you do it's easier.
Dr Salmeron is genuinely one of the best educators I have ever had the pleasure of having. She is hilarious, and is constantly joking. The course is very heavy and you will have to study nearly everyday but her guided notes always help your understanding. However, she is very hard to reach personally outside of lecture.
Excellent lectures. Lots of exams but gives plenty of homework throughout the course to help buffer your grade. Attendance is not mandatory but if you miss lectures it can be difficult to catch up/pay attention. I think her lectures are well worth attending. Lots of memorization for exams, but her lectures allow for easy understanding.
LOVE Dr. S. My fav professor by far. The class is hard and you have to study but she is a very good person and explains things well.
Dr. S is an amazing professor, probably the best I've had. The course itself and the material are difficult and require copious studying. The exams are of moderate difficulty and there are many homework assignments created as a buffer for your grade. The lectures are always engaging and informative. Utilize SI leaders study sessions for extra help.
