Kathy is a great person, and very nice out of the classroom. However in a large lecture class of freshmen/sophomores, she easily loses her temper and can be very nit-picky. Probably would teach better in a smaller class of more dedicated students.

If you don't like Saunders, you're an idiot. She's one of the few profs on campus who will tell it like it is and -- gasp! -- expect something out of you. Wake up kids, you ain't in high school anymore. You don't need a visual aid to get through class. You're supposed to communicate and be part of a dialogue. Saunders is AWESOME. She is very engaging, and is very clear in her teaching. The tests come straight from the lectures and the reading. I'd recommend doing the reading from Miller before lecture, since it gives context and makes it easier to understand what she's talking about. She's really funny and engaging, so I enjoyed going to class.
