Excellent Teacher, Very helpful, Makes learning statsitics easier
Good teacher, but doesnt curve anything
She is the best! She made the material so interesting, and she will always help!
Great teacher! She's out to help the students not herself.
She is really nice, and she tries to help out as much as possible. she doesnt make you fall asleep either.

nice lady, helps in any way possible, lets you use cheat sheet on tests, good teacher
Easy A. This class requires no brain.
She is a very helpful and easy teacher to understand. I highly recommend taking her if you need to take Statistical Methods.
Excellent teacher, not too easy but she made learning statistics fun and interesting.Genuinely cares about the students, lets you use 3x5 cards on the tests. No extra credit, that kinda sucked.
Not too hard but boring as anything. You get to use an 8.5x11 sheet (front and back) for notes on the test...big time PLUS. Make sure you get all the notes, very useful!
I think statistics is really hard, but I was able to get an A in her class b/c I came to class and did the homework (which isn't required). When I didn't do well on the exams I would go to her office hours and she was very helpful. Very good teacher!!!
Easy easy class, get notes and stuff. Hot teacher too.
I thought statistics was going to be hard as hell but she made it easy as cake. Lecture notes were clear and precise. If you needed help, she more than willing. Go with Suchora!
Awesome, very easy. Just pay attn. get notes, practice hw, go to lab. Notes page is awesome. I'd recommend her to everyone!
Easy class. I had trouble in class, but passed with a B. Extremely helpful. you can use cheat sheets on tests.
Great teacher, easy class. She goes out of her way to help you. She also gives formula sheets for every test and you can use a 3 x 5 notecard as well.
Excellent professor and very helpful. I was dreading taking this course, but she made the material relevant and easy to comprehend. Be prepared to do some extra work, but just follow her advice and you should do very well.
Very good teacher. Her notes were very good and there was nothing unexpected on her tests. I took her in a six week summer session and was still able to understand the information.
Pretty easy if you attend all classes, only grades are 4 tests and lab grade, final is optional.
The lady is strict. Her notes are good, but the tests are still kind of hard. You get to use a notecard on the test, along with a provided formula sheet. Go to class and pay attention and you should do ok.
A sucky subject but she tries to make it as easy as possible. Lets you bring a page of notes on test days and the test are a little hard just because its math but if you go to class and do the homework its not that bad.
Easy as ****, though tests are a bit confusing. Haven't opened the book once this year, still getting an A. She allows you to use a full (both sides) 8.5x11 sheet of paper per test, where you can fit ALL your notes. Final is optional. Labs are easy as hel
Very Easy class..I havent opened the book once and i've gotten 2 A's so far on the test..You use a sheet of paper front and back filled with notes! I recommend it to ne one..
Wonderful teacher! Very nice and seems approachable making it easy to go to her for help. I've never opened the book and am doing fine. Allowed an 8 1/2*11 piece of paper front and back w/ stuff for exams! Easy! :)
Hot hot hot, easy easy easy
Mrs. Suchora, will you marry me?
She is a great teacher.
She is a very nice lady, who genuinely cares about her students doing well.
Easy class. Allows notes on exams and final only mandatory if u miss one of the other tests.
This is a great teacher. She is very helpful, and is easy to get a hold of. Her exams are really easy...but son't get me wrong, you do have to study. I think she does a great job for having 300 kids per class.
Hard class but go to class, take good notes and relax you get a formulas sheet and a note card for her tests.
Her tests are quite easy and she teaches at a good pace. Do not make stupid mistakes on tests.
Please learn to teach, and explain better, and stop movng over the notes so fast and make us underdstannd better
I am not a math person, but she made this class understandable. The formula sheets for the class are very helpful- if you write small you can fit every formula on it, and then you are set for the tests. She made statistics as easy as it can be!
She's a very easy teacher and her tests are not that difficult. She allows a cheat sheet for every test and even the final it makes no sense to get less than a "B" in this class
Great teacher. Makes it easy to understand. The notes sheet on test really help. Labs are easy too.
Pretty easy class if you go and pay attention. She lets you take a notes pages into all exams for like examples and formulas and it helps! Also she is helpful and a really nice professor.
Even if you are a good math student, YOU CANNOT SKIP A CLASS. The way her tests are structured, if you miss one concept, your grade is screwed! It happened to me TWICE! Heed my advice.
The best teacher I've had at UCF. She is a great teacher and wonderful at explaining concepts. Go to class, take notes and pay attention because she lets you use a note page on the exams.
EASYEASYEASYEASYEASYEASYEASYEASYEASYEASYEASYEASYEASYEASYEASYEASYEASYEASY I can't say it enough. Go to lab and don't ****off your TA. You'll do more than fine. Lets you use and 8 1/2 x 11 paper front and back with notes and formulas! EASYEASYEASYEASYEASYEA
Go to class, you'll be fine.
Extremely easy. Presents material well, review for exams is direct, labs easy. Easy A if you go to class and do homework.
Just go to labs and its an easy 100 pts. Did not need to study just used the 1 page of notes for test and got an A
If you put a little effort, you should be able to ace this class. Clear, concise teaching. Let's you have an 8x11 study notes sheet for each exam. Excellent professor!
her class is very easy, but i really dont like her teaching style, she talks way too much, and is somtimes unclear, somtimes it appears as though she is not in reality. if you you go to class you should get an A
AWESOME TEACHER! An amazing math teacher! Although she has some strict policies, I have never been to a more clearly defined math class.
She is very clear. Labs are extremely easy, she tells you step by step directions and you should get 10s on all of them. All labs equal to one test grade, so if u have 10s you have a 100! Go to class and do HW and you'll get an A.
really easy lady. just go to class!
EASY and very reasonable!
She was an EXCELLENT teacher. She is very clear and is one of the BEST professors I've ever had! :)
This class is not that hard. She will try and scare you the first day telling you how hard it is, but it's really not. Three tests and a final. She lets you take a note card to the test with whatever you want written on it.
i didn't really go to class which resulted in a lot of bad test grades. However, find a smart lab buddy and you'll get 100 points towards your grade (its like a free test grade). That's the only way I survived.
I was very skeptical about taking stat and she made it much easier than I thought it would be. If you do the "homework" problems and study you should do well on the tests. Lets you use an index card and gives you a formula sheet for tests
go to lab and class and make your cheatsheets, and it'll be an easy A
AWESOME TEACHER, AWESOME CLASS. Some strict policies( if a phone goes of in a test, that person is kicked out with a 0), but a very nice lady, with very fair exams. Plus she's hot for an older woman.
Do the homework problems, make your cheat sheet, go to lab, and there won't be a problem! She doesn't expect you to be mathematicians - just to know what you have to know for an intro stats course. GREAT professor - TAKE THIS CLASS!
Not the easiest teacher but she is very helpful. Go to class, get the workthroughs for the practice problems and make your cheat sheet/notecard and you will do fine in the class. She provides all necessary formula sheets. Hot for an older lady too ;-)
this class made me want to kill myself. shes soo much easier with her sta 1016 class or w/e, but not the 2023. she goes so fast and her tests are impossible. i HATED this class more than anything!!
I've taken this class twice, the other time with Schott and I think Suchora is much better. Although, I came out of each test thinking I aced it, when I went to speak with her she explained everything. Do the homework, practice tests, and make notecards.
She's a good teacher, and a nice lady. She explains everything, and you can use notes on the tests.
If you have to take 2023, take this one! Excellent professor, very clear explaining concepts. Each class, she tells you exactly what you need to know in the simplest way. Go to class, do homework, make your notecards...you'll get an A.

Awesome professor. She lets you use all cheat sheets from the sem on the final (which is optional). She's probably one of the most understanding and helpful professors i've known.
She was a nice lady, but a horrible teacher. She went way too fast and her tests were tricky. I hated this class and you will too if you take it.
The material was hard but she was a good teacher and very helpful. I was in her office constantly and she always seemed interested. Great teacher, horrible subject. you cant blame her
Had her for 2023 and got an A. Not a hard class if you do the homework every night. Very helpful if you go to office hours. She moves quick so dont get behind. Takes test questions from the homework and class notes just changes the number. I you dont try you will fail,JUST DO THE HOMEWORK
Professor is pretty nice, she drives from Tampa everyday so you know she loves what she does. The only negative thing is the labs are mandatory but helpful if you need it.
Very nice lady. Lectures are very clear. Lets you use a notes page on the exams. So far I've enjoyed the class. She explains things very well, and I have yet to be confused on anything. Great teacher. Highly recommend.
She's a really pretty lady, very clear and very easy to understand. As long as you are able to read and follow directions you'll be fine. I think she's more then fair and genuinely wants students to do well.
Great professor! Definitely go to class, although it isn't mandatory. She tells you exactly what to study for the tests and allows you to use a notes page for them. Final is optional. Lab is mandatory but is really helpful! Would definitely recommend Professor Suchora!
Great teacher! Very good at explaining things. Def one of my best professors yet. Tests follow the lectures and the labs, so I recommend you go. As long as you go you should do really good. I def had no interest in stats and I dredded taking the course, but she was so great I actually enjoyed the class and I got an "A"!
Very nice. The book is almost useless, if your really good at Stats you don't need it. Her tests are pretty straightforward, however she throws in some problems that she didn't tell about in the review. Attend the labs, it counts as a test grade. optional final
If u go to class u'll do great on ur exams. Open note tests which is awesome. Attending the labs not only counts as a test grade, but u get a lot of the same questions that will be on the tests in there. She's very clear and is really great about answering questions in class even tho it's a huge lecture.
GO TO CLASS! She really cares about her students, and explains things in such an easy way, and you can earn a definite A as long as you attend all her lectures. I made the mistake of missing a few, and that dropped my grade a lot, but she drops the lowest test grade at the end of the semester. Great Professor!
She actually made stats understandable, unlike Cutchins...plenty of tests and some wiggle room without being too easy on us. Recomendable definitely.
Really good teacher. I enjoyed the class, but i do like math. She has many resources for you if you need help. There are only 4 test for her stats 2023 course. Make sure to go to every lecture or you'll get behind and do the homework, because the exam look similar to the homework.
Really good professor, if you show up to her classes it will reflect what she asks on the test because she goes over a lot of examples. Personally I would not get the textbook, only need it for the problems which you can get from a classmate. Allows you to put ANYTHING on an 8X11 paper for the test.
She's such a sweet lady. She tells you exactly what will be on the tests. Because this class has a lab attached, she goes over the instructions step by step with visuals so you can write it down and know what you're doing. I would 10/10 recommend this class and professor.
She doesn't take attendance, but you HAVE to go to class. She is the nicest person and will sit with you and explain things over and over again if you need it. She genuinely cares about her students. She also gives 4 exams and an optional final; lets you drop one exam grade. And you can use an 8x11 notes page on exams! 10/10 would recommend
TAKE HER. She is a great lecturer. Go to every single class and do not skip. All of the material and examples she goes over in class is exactly what is on the test and what you need to study. I never opened the book and got an A. She lets you have a 8x11 paper to write anything you want. For the final you can have five 8x11 papers to write whatever
She was the best math professor I've had. She really cares about her students and the subject. Shes a great lecturer, goes over all the steps to the problems and has powerpoint examples you can print out and follow along in class. Don't miss a class or you'll be behind, the homework isn't mandatory but it is helpful.
She's my favorite professor I've had so far, she really cares about her students and actually wants them to pass. The concepts are difficult but going to her office hours help so much. She's super nice and genuinely wants to make sure you understand the class.
Professor Suchora was amazing. I loved how she taught the class. You have to attend class for the notes, none are online. You can get the textbook, but don't need it. I found it helpful to get it to do the optional homework as practice. She is incredibly nice and wants everyone to do well. Go to her office hours for any questions or review tests.
Notes were not posted online, but lecture was paced so that everyone had time to copy all the in-class notes. It feels a little slow, but she makes everything super clear before moving on since most of the content builds upon itself. If you don't make it to class, she allows you to copy her notes and her solutions to the homework. Very accessible!
Very easy class yet east to fail. Your grade is determined by 5 test, 1 being the final. Regular test 20 Q's each while Final is 40, and THAT'S IT. However, she teaches material very clearly, super helpful office hours, and the concepts are very easy once you get a grasp on them. I would say this class is easy, but slipping up on tests are easy too
4 exams and a final. THATS IT. She's a wonderful professor, I really liked her. But it was frustrating to know the material perfectly, yet barely pull B's on exams because she made them so difficult. The exams are 20 q's and mostly concept questions. She does assign hw but doesn't grade it. I know I would have gotten an A had I taken another prof
Dr. Suchora is an AMAZING professor! 4 tests and a final, very fair, allows you to have a cheat sheet to write whatever you want. I just went to class, paid attention, reviewed + wrote all my notes on the cheat sheet the night before and got an A! Pay attention to specific wordings to avoid getting tricked! Go to class for sure!! Good luck :)
Very willing to help outside of class, but tests are the only grades and none are dropped. Not a hard class if you apply yourself
Literally the best math teacher I've had at UCF. She doesn't go too fast when covering material and is very clear on tests. Homework is optional and tests and labs basically make up the grade. Not hard at all to pass. She is also the sweetest lady basically ever.
Professor Suchora makes her class very easy. She gives you a full 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper for a "cheat sheet" for every test, so as long as you go to class and take notes you'll be fine. One downside is that she does not post her notes online, so if you miss class you have to see a TA, or her to get the notes (which are needed for exams).
Professor Suchora is amazing, best math teacher I've had by far. Your grade is based on 4 exams and the final, so make sure to study for every exam. Homework is optional but really helps in preparing for exams. You're allowed a full sheet of paper, front and back, for every exam. So memorizing formulas isn't necessary. Overall great class!
Class seemed difficult at first because I didn't study right for the first test and failed. I figured it out and passed the class with a B. Just show up, do the labs and study enough for the tests. She's nice and willing to help. Optional final. The grad students were way worse than she was.
She's the best professor I have ever had at UCF. If you didn't understand something, she took her time to explain. I recommend taking this class during summer. It may seem like it is rushed, but there is no cumulative final and she skips through a lot. Lets you use a full piece of paper for each exam. 4 exams (100pts) and a few pop quizzes (25pts)
Very good teacher, did not get angry at anyone, and was fair to all students. STA2023H structured very well, book homework after every class but not much, ended up learning the material very well. Think I liked this class the most this semester since STA2023H not too complex and straightforward, would def take her again, even in regular sections.
She is the person who cares and loves what she is doing. It is not too hard overall, but she is helpful and caring. Sometimes she can be funny also. Overall all you need to do is the suggested homework. She will be happy to clarify anything if needed.
Great Professor. Only has 4 Exams and Final. Class doesn't have a curve or extra credit, and she doesn't drop any exam grades. Homework is not collected. Class is challenging but not impossible. If you aren't going to completely apply yourself don't take this class!!
Great professor herself but she doesn't have any drop tests so if you mess up you're pretty much stuck. However she lets you use formula sheets on tests and provides homework, reviews, and solid lecture notes to know test material! This class isn't an easy A! You're gonna have to work for it but she is way better than any other Stat teacher!
Your grades consists of 4 exams and the final. Homework is not graded. She does not post her lecture ppts online, you would need to seek a GTA to get missed notes or get it from a friend. Tests are not difficult, I was able to receive one 104 and three 90s by reading notes bc I would just write notes without paying attention. Extra credit on tests.
Granted, I had some knowledge of statistics before taking this class, but I found her to be an amazing professor. She doesn't post notes online but she is very helpful if you talk to her after class or during office hours. Her tests follow the notes and homework and she allows you to use a formula sheet. Overall, a great class!
Professor Suchora is a caring & kind professor who does thorough walk throughs of all material in class. Shes very approachable for help as well. Homework is ungraded but serves as supplemental practice to the concepts learned in class. Unfortunately the grade for this class is all test based, if you mess up once itll be hard to raise your grade.
Not worth taking her class for Honors, makes you do a bunch of extra things like projects and pop quizzes on top of giving free response mixed with MC tests unlike her regular classes. She claims to give partial credit on MC but rarely does and doesn't round up grades as well. Overall nice woman, but wouldn't take it again given the chance.
Great professor, really cares about her students and makes what you need to know VERY clear. Doesn't post notes online so you have to show up to lectures to get them, although the info is in the book as well. Very helpful at office hours and easily accessible. Class is graded off of 4 tests + a final (none are dropped)
We had 4 tests and the final as our grades. You can get As on 3/4 of the tests and fail the last one and you grade will tank. She has one extra credit question per test. So not a lot cushion for the grade. She rushes her powerpoints. Only good thing is that she lets you bring formula sheets... but then again, most of the other STA2023 profs do too
She is a great professor and funny at times. She is patient, helpful, and kind.
Professor Suchora does a good job explaining the subject, but does not give many assignments. If you want an A, definitely attend the lectures. She provides optional homework from the textbook, but your entire grade is determined from 5 exams. Attend the lectures, take notes, do a few homework problems, and you'll receive an A
I don't know what some of these people are talking about, this was my easiest freshman class lmfao maybe is just being CS major and taking 4 classes where you actually have to do work LOL. Fair class, nice teacher, lucky for us she's a mother and treated us like her kids, didn't murder us anywhere.
She is such a caring professor. There is homewoek, but not graded. Her lectures are wonderful. She is funny from time to time. Overall a great professor and extremely patient. She will work with you. Test are your only grades.
This class was very difficult. I got 95+ in all of my other classes and a C in stats. If you are not naturally excellent at math, I would recommend taking another professor that has homework or quiz grades for cushion. The grade is just 4 exams and the final, and nothing is dropped. One test can plummet your grade. Suchora is nice though.
If you can physically write and use a calculator, you should get an A in this course. The material itself is just concepts and super basic math. Suchora walks you through every bit of it in class with examples. If you skip, just go grab notes from the grad students who always have office hours. You get a full sheet of paper each exam for notes.
Dr. Suchora is such a nice woman! She does a great job of telling you everything you need to know for the exams. As long as you go to class and take notes, do the homework, and use the 1-page formula sheet she allows you to use on the exam, you will get at least a B. She does everything in her power to make sure everyone understands the material!
She is awesome. I had her for Statistical method 1, but now statistical method 2. There are pop quizzes, so cone to class everyday and do the homework each day after class. She let's you use on equation sheet. Overall good.
Suchora treats her students like her kids. Very caring and always answers every question (even the dumb ones) respectfully. We had 4 tests and the final, which I enjoyed but others didn't. She said she is going to add mandatory HW in the summer so be aware of that. HW for us was optional, but I never did it. Do the practice tests and you'll be fine
Took Suchora for Stats 1 n loved the class. Powerpoints are straightforward and easy to understand. Didnt use textbook, but its good for practice problems. She posts practice exams + answers thatre very similar to her exams. Grade is based off of 3 exams + final. Attendance is mandatory, doesnt post notes online. Can use formula sheet
She is an amazing professor. Very nice and great at explaining the concepts. Attendance is a must, as she does not post the powerpoints online, only goes over it in class. Allows you 1 cheat sheet per 1 of the 4 exams, (5 for final exam). Material is very easy, if you attend class every day. Never studied the material, just had great cheat sheets.
Professor Suchora is a wonderful. She gives clear lectures. She treats us like her kids. Overall a pleasure to have. We do pop quizzes, exams, ungrateful homework, and a mini project. She is considering doing projects instead of quizzes. I learned so much in Statistics.
She is a good teacher, it was just so much stress only having 4 exams + a final with NOTHING dropped. Yes, she allows 1 cheat sheet per test you can write anything on and that does help. However, time is a bit constricted and she puts answers to trick you or slip you up. While rushing you can easily make a mistake and that answer will be available.
The most important thing to do to pass is just to go to class as lectures are very helpful. Offers full paper front and back for formulas for tests plus the charts she provides and extra credit questions. Do homework problems/practice tests before exams. You don't need the solutions manual for the textbook because she has one she will let you use.
Great professor! Lectures are extremely helpful, homework problems resemble the test questions
I'm poor with tests, so it was a difficult for me, as it was test heavy (hw didn't make a dent). 4 exams, plus a final. Each exam allowed a "cheat sheet" (front and back paper w/ anything written on it). Final exam allowed 5 of them. Attendance not mandatory, but necessary. Notes aren't provided online. She doesn't curve or drop any exams.
don't even think about taking stats with anyone but Professor Suchora, she is amazing. a great teacher, super chill, always open to questions and made the 2:00 pm lecture feel like a breeze. the class is test heavy and attendance is a must if you want to pass, but she explains everything and makes it look easy.
Very clear, straightforward, excellent teacher. The homework always takes longer than you expect. Prof Suchora's exams are exactly as she describes (often with examples from class), she allows for a full cheat sheet. Answers questions clearly and kindly, very respectful.
There are 4 exams (90% of grade), online homework assignments (10% of grade), and a final that is worth a double test grade. If you want an A, you're going to have to put in the effort! An A is 90-100. Lectures are fun to attend and Professor Suchora makes them interesting! You get to make a cheat sheet for each exam + 1 for the final (5 total)
This classes hw is terrible! She makes you do hw and quizzes online that always take much longer than you think. Words cannot describe how atrocious and frustrating the hw is. You can study her notes for hours and still get an F on her quizzes. The hw makes little sense to a normal person. Avoid at all cost to spare yourself from this nightmare!
Easy A, if you just go to class or get the notes from someone. She goes over the information needed for the test the lecture before and lets have a formula/"cheat" sheet for each test and 5 pages for the final. Her tests are MC and the tests are fairly easy if you did the HW and understand the examples in class. Also, do the HW before the quizzes!!
Professor Suchora is a great choice for any statistics course. She does gives pop quizzes, but they are all open note so as long as you take good notes you'll do well. She also reuses homework questions on quizzes but with different numbers, so always do your homework. She allows a formula sheet for every exam (one page front/back), take advantage.
All homework and quizzes were online. The homework questions were identical to those on the quizzes so doing the hw beforehand and taking notes helps. Homework can be a little time consuming but its easy and there are examples. Youre allowed to bring a sheet of paper with whatever you want written on it to each test. Very easy & doable
Homework and quizzes are all online, with 4 in-class exams and a final, allows formula sheet for exams. Coming to class is almost essential; doesn't post her notes online, and its much easier to succeed by taking good notes in class than not going to class and relying on the textbook; she skips a lot of the book things and is easier to understand.
One of the best professors I've ever had. Granted, I took AP statistics in high school, and do very well in her class. However, she gives ample examples and notes. The homework is online using MyLab and Mastering and the quizzes (online as well) are just like the homework questions. You get an formula sheet (8.5 x 11) to use for each exam. Easy A.
Very fair and clear with grading. Exam heavy, but each exam has extra 5%. Good lectures. I didn't take stats ever before, and with her lectures, reading the book and about 3 hours of work per week outside of class, I got an A. Definitely recommend this professor.
She explains the material really well and gives examples that are similar to test questions. Her test reviews are helpful and the quizzes every week online. The homework online takes a long time because it has multiple parts. While it isnt required to attend, she doesnt post power-points online. For every test she allows one cheat sheet.
She is a great professor! Be prepared to put in the work (weekly homework and quizzes) but it is well worth it. She cares about her students, is very fair, and is an incredible teacher.
Tests are 80%, and none are dropped. Cumulative final as well. Homework and quizzes are time-consuming and mostly unnecessary. I took this with Anatomy and Organic Chem 1 and it was a mistake, this class takes a lot of time. The material itself isn't hard. Just a lot of busy work
Pretty decent lectures with pretty easy A. 80% of the grade comes from the tests, which are basically open notes. She allows you to take an entire cheat sheet into each test and 5 of them into the final. You should be guaranteed a 100 on each homework assignment, even though they take long. Quizzes are just like the homework as well.
Suchora does a great job of answering questions students have and making the material easy to understand. There is a lot of work but, it helps make the concepts easier to understand. There are 4 to 5 bonus points on every test and nothing is dropped.
Prof. Suchora is amazing! Her lectures are easily to follow along and she gives enough time to take notes. Attendance isn't mandatory and her GTA's come to class and take notes, but I'd recommend going to class anyways. The formula sheets are a lifesaver! The exams usually have a few extra credit question and the quizzes/hw aren't too bad.
One cheat sheet was allowed for every exam and there was one extra credit question on each test. Nothing is dropped and there are no curves. She gives tons of examples in class on how to solve each problem but they are not similar to the test questions. The HW is tedious and there are online quizzes every week with multiple parts for each question.
If you do all the homework and quizzes AND actually understand how to do the problems, you will get at least a B in this class. She is super nice and very straightfoward on what you need to know and how to do it. She goes through tons of examples but doesn't post powerpoints so I would go to class if you take her.
She teaches very well as long as you actually pay attention in class and do your homework. She rounds grades out by two decimals so an 89.99 is a B folks. But all in all pretty decent for stats. Boring but she gets the job done. Just for real do your homework before quizzes. OH and she lets you have cheat sheets for tests and final so thats GREAT.
Course has four major tests, every week one quiz opens on Thursday through Friday and homework due Monday nights.
5 tests including the final, homework every week but she'll drop the lowest quiz grade. Attendance not mandatory but STRONGLY suggest it as all powerpoints are only in class and you won't know the lesson without it. A lot of homework but it teaches you the concepts. If you actually study you should do decently.
Professor Suchora was awesome. There were 5 exams including the final & she allowed us to have a full sheet of paper, front & back of notes, formulas & examples (1 for each test) and then we can use all of them on the final. Our homework & quizzes were online & straight forward. Make sure to go to class because she doesn't post the slides online!
Had to do a late add for this course which took ages, but prof gave me plenty of time to catch up on missing work. The best prof I've ever had hands down. Dropped a quiz, allowed notes on all exams including final. She posts practice questions with answers which are very similar to the real exams. Lectures were easy to follow. Get her if u can
If you're not good at stats, you're going to feel like she's speaking another language. HOWEVER, her lectures are all very straightforward. As long as you do your HW, you'll catch on really quickly. I hadn't done Stats 1 in 3 years and I managed to pass with an A by attending every class and doing all the HW. I found her classes fun toward the end.
Allows formula sheets for exams, pop-quizzes in class are open-note w/ questions similar to the HW, also gives bonus quizzes. Tests are long response/some multiple choice. Cares a lot about her students being able to learn the material and tries her best to be accessible, always uses multiple examples to try and convey material the best she can.
Prof. Suchora is great. If you complain about her then you are the problem. You will not have to pay for any materials except for textbook (cheap to rent). Working on in-class problems and homework is important because the test is heavily based on those. No worries! You study X, she will give you X on the exam. Not Y or Z unlike other professors.
Take Prof. Suchora, you wont regret it. Although lectures were not mandatory, it is essential to go as she doesn't upload her pp to canvas, you take the notes in class. Her lectures are pretty straightforward. The hw was horrible. Lots of problems that took forever to do but at the end it does help for the tests. Her tests are easy if you study
Great Teacher. Fair grading, does a great job teaching, no complaints. Make sure you get Mrs. Suchora as your Precalculus/ AP Statistics Teacher at Pine View High School.
