Whatever you do, take any other professor but this one. Every question is a trick question and don't even bother buying the book. Her lectures seem like they come from some other book (possibly Satan's Biology from Hell edition #666). Syllabus says don't ask for help unless you're studying atleast 10 hrs per week in addition to class and reading.

She is very helpful, she answers any questions posted on WebCT directed to her (and some that aren't that could use clarification). She isn't all that clear in class though. Her tests are a little difficult and very specific -- I find that I often study the wrong things entirely; all from lectures & a lot of material. Good class anyway but tough.

She is very nice and intelligent, but not a good teacher. VERY difficult class. One of those classes where you feel like you do everything to fully prepare and it's somehow still not enough and not what you need for the tests. It's been quite frustrating. It's quite a challenge, that's the best way to simply say it.

I thought she was a great teacher. The class really is not bad at all. The first test was kinda hard, but the rest of the tests haven't been bad at all, and she gives LOTS of extra credit opportunities. Biology is an inherently difficult subject but this professor is good at breaking things down. You can't expect any professor to baby you.

She is a good teacher and teaches the information well, but she expects you to go well beyond what is taught in class. You must be willing to devote easily 10-20 hours just studying for a single test (if not more) because they are insanely hard. In my opinion the best way to do well in the class is to go to every lecture and outline the chapters.
