Katie is a good teacher, but seems to sort of coast through the class, with hardly any effort. She has a lot of "work days" for students, but enforces strict attendance guidelines. It takes her a long time to grade papers, but she does grade fairly. She is very good about answering questions and helps any student that asks.

Katy was great! She tells you again and again at the beginning of the semester that attendance matters. BELIEVE HER! She tells you what she expects, but if you aren't there to hear it, and try to wing it, you will hurt yourself. I blew an A by part-timing it and missing crucial instructions. She worked with me when I needed it though.

Katy was a fantastic teacher. She will always help you with writing and gives very specific instructions so you know what you need to write. Compared to other professors, you will write A LOT in this class, but thats to be expected. The nice thing is she gives a lot of in class work time so if you stay on track you won't have any homework.

I enjoyed her class! You do have to show up but its really not that hard, hardly had any homework because of all the in class work days. She respects her students time. The assignments were interesting. Would totally take it again!

Professor Leber is very genuine and passionate about teaching, it shows in her teaching style.

I took it in the summer, so everything was condensed and there was a TON of writing. But, she's always there if you're stuck, plus gives you the tools you need to write a good paper. The class wasn't easy but she's the best teacher i've ever had hands down. She definitely cares about her students, and her love for English is reflected in her class

Katie is a good teacher. Expect to write a lot, but since it is an english class, you should already be prepared for that. You get plenty of time in class to get your writing done, so that's helpful. She's a tough, but fair grader. I would have no problems recommending her to fellow students.

Gives pop quizs for not reading texbookt! She is clear in what she expects and if you listen to her you will get a good grade. She is very strict on formatting for MLA. Not on ciations and work cited page. She made it very clear that she will give you a zero on your paper if everything is not formatted correctly. She takes quite a while to grade.

This is my second semester taking an English Course, I am in ENG121 and Katie Leber is my teacher. She's very positive and if you don't understand something she will put it in a different way so that you do understand it.

I enjoyed taking ENG 121 with Mrs. Leber she was very helpful and was easy to work with on better understanding the goals we needed to accomplish. She also structured our class really well, we got the hard stuff out of the way first and then got to do the lighter work last. This made it easier and doesn't wipe you out by the end of the year!

In my time here as a student at Front Range Community College I have only been inspired by one teacher, Mrs. Leber. Not only did I not think that I would not enjoy an English course, I am now looking forward to the next English class with her.

Katie is great. It's hard to get a bad grade in this class as long as you try. You need to show up to EVERY SINGLE class so if you are not prepared for that, don't take Katie. There are NO tests in her class if you show up every day!

If you put in your end of the work, you will be able to achieve an A. She is always there to help and gives good feedback.

Katie is a tough grader but everything she does is to help YOU excel. I always thought I was rubbish at English and it was my least favorite subject. After passing this class I have a whole new set of skills that I didn't think I would ever have. If you want to improve take her class!

Best english teacher that I've ever had! Honestly. She provides you with a ton of essay-building supporting material. That really made the process of starting and piecing together my essays easy. Additionally, it takes away a lot of the intimidation factor of starting an essay. Highly recommended!!!

Absolutely my favorite professor here at Front Range. Super awesome and understanding. When I say attendance is mandatory, it isn't in a way, you get extra credit or skip the final exams if you aren't late and come to all the classes. Class went by super fast, she's easy and fun!

Professor Leber was an amazing teacher! She cared about the success of each and every student in her class. If you are struggling with any assignment, just contact her and you will receive a prompt response. As long as you put the work in, you will do well. She also offered extra credit! If you have the chance to take a course of hers, do it!

Very clear on what your assignments were and when they were due. She grades as much on class discussion and peer review as the hand-in work itself. Responsive to messages and questions, and held chat sessions for those who needed it. Tough grader but gives decent feedback on assignments.

I've taken Professor Leber for two classes now and she's incredible! She's funny and smart, and really walks you through the process of writing the essays for class. She is available outside of class and makes this well known so you can find her if you need her. Her grading is fair and the feedback is helpful. One of my favorite teachers for sure!

Professor Leber was very helpful and understanding with respect to editing and other questions. The class consisted of three papers, a few quizzes, a powerpoint presesentation, and a letter of transmittal. Overall, it wasn't hard, but be sure to stay on top of the schedule, because assignments are broken down into steps with separate due dates.

Leber was a great teacher, one of the best English teachers I have ever had. Strongly recommend her to others. She will actually teach you how to right instead of just giving you a topic and a grade. She respects each student.

Dr. Kathryn Leber is a great teacher very nice and caring for her students. It was great summer semester.

Dr. Leber graded tough and fair the exact type of professor this institution needs. I enjoyed writing the essay. Her feed back was instrumental to a high academic grade. Easy to follow she also gave exact instructions how to do well on each paper.

Dr. Leber is a highly organized and caring professor. She will provide all the tools needed to understand the material. Come to class prepared and you should be fine.

Dr. Leber is the best teacher that Front Range has. She cares deeply about students and will make every effort to help them understand the material. Obviously there are papers, but she gives more time to complete them than any of my instructors and she will help whenever needed. She is a realistic teacher who won't waste your time. TAKE HER CLASS!

She is a good professor, wants her student to succeed. The workload was reasonable, not too bad even for a summer class -- but more than other proffs. Her feedback is sometimes not complete though and leaves you wondering. My other major issue was grading, she took FOREVER to grade work, resulting in feedback about an essay after it was due etc.

Professor Leber is hands down AMAZING!! I took her AP Lang and Comp class my sophomore year of HS and that was by far the best decision I ever made. She's a very tough teacher, but she is still caring, and she imparts so much wisdom on all of her students. She is the reason that I decided to major in English with an emphasis in professional writing

Leber was a great teacher. I had her online and she is a pretty easy grader! There were only 3 essays and she gave plenty of time to work on them. She really wants you to succeed and become a good writer. Individually gave students help and gave free PDF for textbooks! Also extra credit opp at the end of the class. I would highly recommend her!

Professor Kathryn Leber is an amazing teacher. She has showed me how to become a much better writer, and enjoy writing more than I ever have before. Her lectures are easy to understand, and she makes them feel very relatable. I would 100% have her again as a teacher.

One of my favorite teachers! I took her course in the Fall 2021 semester. She answers emails in a reasonable time frame, is caring and understanding. In order to do well in her classes, follow the rubric (I did that and ended the class with an 98%).

This class was easy to comprehend because of her in depth lectures, in class discussions and activities. There were a multitude of different writing styles in this class which helped me expand on my abilities for each.

This was a great class, it definitely takes effort but Leber is very supportive & assignments are all manageable. Everything like rubrics/criteria is very clear, she'll even talk through assignments in class to answer any questions. I'd definitely take classes instructed by her if they were part of my degree. No late work accepted tho, kinda sucks.

Dr. Leber was a great teacher throughout the semester. She is very accommodating to people's lives. She allows one-on-one time to ask questions if needed which can be a huge help. All of her powerpoints are online which was helpful if you missed a class. She by far has been one of my favorite professors that I have had.

She was very clear with every paper's guidelines, where and when to turn them in, would offer guidance if needed, and gave back good and positive feedback. She kept the class atmosphere light and enjoyable with a fantastic sense of humor. Her rules are strict but few in number. I highly recommend her classes.

She has a great sense of humor that went incredibly underappreciated so if you are a fan of "slightly exhaling out of your nose" laughing then take her class. Her final was so damn easy. Dr. Leber is one of the best professors I have had. She gives a decent amount of homework, but with in class work time and easy to follow lectures and instructions it didn't ever feel like I was overworked. She is super helpful and will take time with each student to help write and review assignments. I would absolutely take her class again.

Awesome professor, she really cares about you improving as a writer. As someone who does not write all that much, this was an outstanding class. Dr. Leber is very responsive if you have questions. The class moves fast so it feels like a lot of writing in a short amount of time. But if you pace yourself and don't procrastinate you'll get an A.

Chill class with three essays and smaller projects throughout. She gave good feedback and made the material approachable by walking us through the expectations. Very clear rubrics. It's clear she wants her students to do well and cares a lot about teaching.

She's a great person and clearly cares about her student's. Sometimes I felt like she graded me down on things just for the sake of it (for example she'd take off points for things and the feedback would cite a problem that didn't exist). I enjoyed the papers and projects and appreciated the freedom to decide what to write about for the most part.

Awesome Professor. I went into the class not liking writing but after taking Dr. Lebers' class I felt encouraged to try writing outside of a school setting. Might even try to write a book now! Gives gold stars every once in a while which is a funny way to reward students. Great teacher.

Dr. Leber has been my favorite professor to this day. I've taken eng comp 1 and 2 from her and she is without fail a pleasant, kind, funny and engaging teacher. She wants to see you get it right and she does so in such a loving way. We LOVE her!!

Dr. Leber is the most wonderful English professor ever! Assignments were rigorous but not overwhelming, but the directions were clear and she made sure we had the skills to do each assignment. Every class was interesting, informative, and funny. Her attendance incentive is free extra credit, and she really cares about her students. Take her class!
