Although a bit flighty is very easy to pass due to extra credit and simple project assignments. Class gets a little boring and drawn out.

Easy, easy, easy. Do the extra credit and you won't have to do the project or take the final. Make flashcards for the mid-term and it's no big deal.

Study for the midterm and do the extra credit. That's it and you'll have an A and not even have to take the final. She's a sweetheart!

Easiest class on campus. She gives you so many chances to do extra credit, that its so easy to get an A. Study for the midterm and go to class. Her goal is to have a class where no one takes her final... How awesome! Easy UP!

Kathy is the most down to earth understanding teacher to have. If you don't get an A in her class i wonder how you even got into college. Not full of ****. She's tight.

Easiest class I ever had. Make sure to do the extra credit, and study for the midterm. Also, keep track of what you turned in. She sometimes forgets to mark down what you handed in.

super easy class.....she offers so much easy extra credit and gives you full credit for all the other assignments, so there is no reason why you shouldnt get an A

Easy easy class, you get extra credit opportunities and you don't have to take a final. PLUS, you get full credit on all papers because it there is anything wrong she makes you fix it and turn it back in. Can't fail this class unless you try.

TAKE THIS COURSE WITH HER...i have never gotten 100% in any of my classes...this class it's pretty much a sure deal...tons of EC..i could even get 150% if i wanted to or higher...SUPER EASY...midterm is memorizing slides (only exam)...no final...

Class attendance is a must. Don't miss more than three. One midterm that's easy, no final. EC is important (Go look at a piece of art and write a 250 wrd piece on it, 6 required) Watch students talk about a piece of art for most the semester with speakers

Super easy class. If you put in the effort you'll forsure get an A. Even though its really easy you still can learn alot. Attendance is important.

Class is extremely easy. If you do all your extra credit you won't have to take a final! This class can be very boring, but don't miss cuz attendance is worth alot of your grade.

Nice lady, stickler for attendence though. don't buy the book, there is no HW, quizes, or tests so you don't have do anything. just do ec and get at least a 100% there is a midterm, but that is just memorizing some slides.

Kathy is such a warm and caring person, I loved going to her class. She's open and friendly, and puts time into her class. Definitely a sweetheart. Amazing artist as well. Make sure you don't buy the book though, you won't use it.

easiest class i've ever taken.Gives u the answers to quizzes right before u take them. Midterm isjust memorizing slides,dont wait till last minute!Term paper, observing art out of classroom(3) all so easy,2 are xtracredit. Please take her, its so easy,shes funny cuz she cant work the overhead.

Very easy A. Take this class with her. She gives quizzes that are like 20 points but they are usually one word answers and she gives you the answer before you take the quiz.Lectures are interesting. Don't buy the book, you wont need it! I can't tell you enough how easy this class is take it with her

What everyone else said and this. Her artwork inspired me to paint. That is how great she is. Go to class, listen, you will learn alot. Bet class this semester. Hope you can appreciate her since she deserves it :)

Easy class. As long as you go, you will get most of the points. It gets really boring, but it's not so bad, becasue Mrs. Jones is really passionate about art.

You do NOT need to buy the book. She provides you with study guides and everything on them is also on the exam. Get her talking about her personal life, she is so funny. Attendance does not count. There are also opportunities to receive extra credit. Easy "A"

Don't buy the book. She is a fun prof who knows her stuff. LEctures get old but you need to go to class for quizzes, etc. You'll enjoy having her.

If you dont get an A in this class you either a) didn't do any of the homework... or b) didn't show up to class. She is the sweetest lady ever and the class is an easy A... i would love to take that class again.

Her goal is to give everyone an A. You do learn about design, but even if you suck can get a good grade. Shares alot of interesting stories, and is very easy going. everyone should take her

She is the best teacher you could possibly have at this University. ALl I can say is that no one will every be able to fill her shoes! If you get the chance take her and only her for ART 126. You will be very pleased, believe me!

Kathy is the best! This class is an easy A. She WANTS to give A's; in fact, I've gotten full points on everything (with very little actual work). Plus, I had no interest whatsoever in this class, but wound up totally enjoying it. Definitely take Kathy Jones as much as you can!!!

She seems to love her job. She wanted everyone else to like to too so she was very enthusiastic. she told us the exact midterm so it was super easy. quizzes were random in class, but all based on opinion, so if you are in class that day you get the points. she was very friendly throughout the whole class.

This class is a lot of work for a UP. She is a funny lady, and shes very nice. You have to go out of class and write papers about pieces of art, do a research paper, art project, quizzes online, and she takes attendence almost everyday. She gave us extra credit one day by calling off everyones name and if you were there you got the points.

TAKE HER IF YOU CAN!!! she is one of the nicest ladies I have ever met. Her class is really easy too. She understands that some of the material is boring so she tries to hurry through it. Homework is simple!

Hmms..well i'm not an art major by any means, and I have an A without taking the final. My point is, there is no reason you won't get an A in this class. Kathy Jones is one of the nicest people I have ever met at CMU! If I could adopt her as a grandma, I would!!!!!!! Such a big heart, and a fun person to be around. :) Take it!

She was energetic and funny. Literally all you have to do to get an A is to just do everything on the syllabus and show up to class. It was an easy A for me.

i took this as a up course. do all the ooocae or whatever she calls them and you'll be fine. midterm is just matching slides with name of artist. if you do ec you won't have to take the final... i didn't and i got an A in the class

EASY class. Come to class, do the easy assignments and you will do fine. If you do it, you're almost guarenteed to get an A on every assignment. She gives you the midterm at the beginning of the semester making it very easy.

This was my favorite class! She is a really down to earth teacher and helps you with any assignments or problems you have.

Kathy is an amazing professor. She explains the resoning behind the art. After her class, you will have a great appreciation for art. Plus, just write the extra paper, listen to her lecture on her art, and you can skip the final!!

You will never use the book. She is so nice and funny and the class is incredibly easy. You don't need to put in any effort. Do what she says and you will get an A, guaranteed.

These tests are very very easy. Mostly multiple choice. The study guide is always simple. She is a bit crazy when there is a guest speaker, just don't let her see you texting. Very easy class.

Awesome lady, very nice. I slept through every single lecture and did not apply myself one bit and got an easy A, over 100%. The difficulty of this class is equivalent to kindergarten. Take her for sure! Don't even need to get the textbook either.

Quite possibly the easiest class ever. I fell asleep almost every day and I still got over a 100% overall in the class. As long as you do the homework, regardless of how bad it is, you'll get an A. She can get anal over people talking during her lectures, and whatever you do, DON'T GET CAUGHT TEXTING DURING CLASS. She'll flip out.

This class is so easy it's kind of sad. Just make sure you print off the notes before each class since the quizzes are open note and fill out the study guides, since all the exam questions are taken word-for-word off the study guide. If you don't get an A in this class, you're just flat out lazy, or stupid.

Prof is very enthusiastic -knows what she is talking about! You NEED to go to class to get points. Usually there will be a little assignment based on her lecture at the end of class. Pay attention, print off the notes, and you'll do fine. Do the study guides, you'll be suprised how much they help! Made art interesting. Easy A if you apply yourself!

This class is easier than ones that I took in junior high. Easy A! Go to class, do the work, and you are guaranteed an A. She lets people redo papers, and turn in late as long as you email her as to why it's late, not matter why. Gives you the entire lecture in notes ahead of time. Gives you the exam beforehand. If you aren't lazy you will do fine.

This class was so easy that I got an A with a zero on my final exam. The tests have little to do with lecture, but she gives a complete study guide and you just look the answers up from there- it's identical to the test. Highly recommend her!

This is the EASIEST class I've ever taken. If you're looking for the UP credit, take this class. I got a 100% on all the exams and didn't even have to try. She gives you the exam, and then just scrambles up the answers on the "real" one. Papers are easy too. Just to them and you'll get 100%

This class is an extremely easy A. The study guides are the tests. Going to class is important because she does 20-50 point notecards at the end of class. Do the extra credit and mostly won't have to take the final. Kathy is very nice and helpful.

Professor Jones is a good professor, very easy class. Before taking this class I dreaded it bad, I hate art history. After taking her class though I learned a lot. Easy A just study for an hour before each test and do the extra credit. I recommend her.

amazing amazing amazing! this class is soooo easy. if you do all the x-credit and get all the points, you get rewarded and don't have to take the final exam. Her tests in general are easy she gives you the study guide which is an exact replica of the exams.. its impossible to fail this class!! take her!

Professor Jones is the best!! She is understanding and very helpful. wasn't that interested in learning about the history of art all that much, however she really opens your eyes to a new world and makes her class really worth paying attention. If you happen to forget an assignment let her know and she'll let you turn it in late with no points lost

TAKE THIS CLASS! go to every class period (she always lets you out early) to take the easy 20 point quiz. do the extra credit when available, so if you want to miss the class (OR THE FINAL!) you can. very helpful when you have a question. Also, make sure you print the notes off when you go to class. TAKE THIS CLASS FOR YOUR UP!

LOVED this class. Best prof ever. Kathy is the sweetest lady . Class is usually interesting, but you HAVE to go. Points everyday. The exams are a breeze. She gives you the exact, multiple choice Q and A to study. Take this UP with her.

Extremely easy class! Kathy is kind of crazy but she is really nice. The exams couldn't be easier. Classes are pretty boring but you have to go, there is a "quiz" every day.

I loved this class! Kathy is a wonderful professor. I found that it was very easy to pay attention during her lectures, because you can tell that she's very passionate about the subject she's teacher. And along the way she had some random, but hilarious stories, or side words. I definitely recommend this class. If you pay attention it's very easy.

Kathy loves art and you can tell as she teaches it. Basically to get an A you just need to show up. She gives you four assignments outside of class to do and three are papers they are so easy but definitely just show up and do the note cards at the end of class and you will get an A. She also gets speakers. By far easyiest best class to take for UP.

Kathy is a very cool lady! She has such a crazy sense of humor. This was such an easy class to pass, just be there and do the notecards every class. I used to book for the study guides and thats it. She will give you the test to study before the test so just memorize it and you can pass no problem. Good UP class to take. P.S. she hates cell phones!

If there is any class I'm going to miss, it will be ART 126, tests are the study guide questions, just mixed around. The quizzes aren't hard, use her powerpoint notes, Papers are easy, follow her directions, word by word, and you'll get an A. Overall, best class I've taken at CMU. If I could retake any class, it would be this one.

Shes not hard @ all, just go to class b/c each day u go u get 20 pts(its adds up trust me!) Her exams r the study guides, just the Qs arent in the same order. Her projects/papers r eazy peazy. She never keeps u more than 1 hour, so going 2 class isnt hard. She can be funny sometimes 2! Just go 2 class, do the h/w, study guides & youll do fine =)

This class is an easy A. Go to class, quizzes at the end about the lecture, very easy. Exams are the study guides, just in a different order. You will only use the book to do the study guide, but it'll make you ace the exams! She can be funny at times, otherwise kinda boring class. I recommend this class for a UP for sure!

Easiest class in the world, just have to go to class. She'll try to scare you and tell you she's the hardest professor, but she's not. I got an A and didn't even need to take the final because I didn't need the points. Easy easy easy U.P. take the class!

Easiest class ever! Her tests are exactly word for word off of her study guides. Only a 3 papers to write the whole semester that are very easy. I would recommend this class to any one who is looking for an easy A. A first grader could honestly take her exams.

What a crazy lady, but in a funny way. Sometimes get flustered with technology. GO TO CLASS! You get points for going, bring other work to do though or else you'll fall asleep. Tests are super easy, gives a study guide all the answers are in the book and easy to find. Few small papers, easy grader.

She is a crazy old lady but is more than willing to help out with any questions you have. You have to write a total of 3 papers and she is a super easy grader! She gives you the exam questions and all you have to do is find the answers in the book. She also gives you the notes on BB. Attendance is worth points. Easiest UP ever! Take it!

Easy class! 3 papers total with optional extra credits. Make sure if you have a question just to ask her, she's pretty helpful. 20+ points for going every class period! Just be careful, sometimes what she says in class is different on Bb. And exams are straight from the book!

She has been my favorite professor and class so far at CMU. I loved her and her class was super easy, I got 90%+ on every exam, a ton of extra credit, and actually interesting, even though art is not at all my subject. I would recommend to anybody for an UP!
