She is just about the sweetest thing in the world. She really tries to keep your attention in a very easy subject. I went to nine classes: the first day, four reviews and four exams, and I got a B+. If you go to the class regularly, it's a guaranteed A
She's awesome. Class is easy. I didn't buy the $100 set of books and still got an A+.
She's so cute and sweet! If you just take the pre test a few times before the tests this is a really easy A!
Easy on the eyes. As long as you do your lab hours and go to the test you'll have an A. (To bad she's way out of my league though).
i love this class because it is so easy. i would recommend you take all the pretests so you wont have to do so much timein the lab. just do everything your supposed to and youll have an A.
This is one of the easiest classes out there.
Easy easy easy, too easy really
easiest class ever
I had her for 102, and didn't buy the set of books and still got an A+. I had her for 5th grade math, too, in Tusc. and she was awesome then, too!
Makes you want to come to class.
CS 102 is the easiest class every. Even though Morris didn't really teach since it's a computer class, she was extremely nice and cheerful. I'd definitely recommend her as a teacher.
EASY class...do you assigned minutes and you are good to go. She is really hot too!
The easiest class I have ever taken. Put the hours in each week and you are guaranteed an "A". Morris seems like a pretty descent professor however their are too many students in the class to give her justice.
One word: awesome!
I LOVE THIS LADY! She's so adorable and sweet. You'll love this class, the only thing is it's a long walk to PATY and it is a huge class.
she is AMAZING
the nicest lady ever!!
Take it. End of Discussion. You go to class when you want to, if you want to. The class is amazingly simple, show up once a week to take the pretest, and the test. If you make an 88 on the pretest, only a little bit of lab time. 3 average points for taking pretests. Shes funny and nice. Just don't miss your test or hours.
what everyone else said.
She's very nice and her class is pretty easy! I hate the walk esp. on test mornings, but oh well! She's extremely sweet!
She's very nice, and the class was incredibly easy
Easy class. shes the only teacher but it doesnt really matter because its all on the computer.
This is for the online Microcomputer Applications class. It is easy and flexible. There are 6 modules, with 2 weeks each. For each one, you take a pretest (which isnt graded but counts off if you don't take it), then you have a week and a half to do the lessons, then you take an exit exam. If you don't like your score, retake it. Easy.
The only thing I hated about this class was the location in Paty. That's a LOOOOONG walk! But other than that, she's an awesome teacher. She's very helpful and really nice.
Too easy class.
what everyone else says.
good teacher and very helpful
Class is a joke, but Kathy is really nice and helpful. Again, this class is an absolute joke. Take it if you need an A, and make sure you get her!
You only go to class for the full time once or twice. You do lab hours every other week on your own time. The tests are easy, but you definitely have to study a little outside of lab hours to make an A. She seems nice but we never really needed to talk to her! She also gives bonus points for perfect attendance.
She's such a great teacher that I have had ever. Too easy to get an A if you have just 1 hour to study a week. I really recommend to take CS 102 with her.
This is such an easy class. You have to take it! There is no way around it. I am sure all the teachers are very easy, but Mrs. Morris is very kind and understanding. You only have to attend class once a week or every other week depending on how you do on your pretest! Good Luck
Very easy to get an A in the class, as long as you do your lab hours and do the pre tests a few times before the test. She is very understanding and if you miss the test she will let you make it up!!!
Easy Easy Easy. And Morris is really nice. If you do your lab hours and tests, you're all good. I definitely recommend this class. Half the time you don't even have to go if you get a good pre-test score.
Oh my gosh, if you don't get an A in this class, you are a idiot. It's basically Pre-test (which helps out with lab time),Lab hours, and test. You don't even have to go to class everyday also.If you're computer literate then you can definitely make an A.Go to class and do your lab hours and take your test, I can't reiterate this anymore.
Great teacher and great class!! So easy if you just do the lessons and pre-tests. If you do 85% of all the lessons, you get extra points, and if you do all of your lab time, you get more extra points!
Very Easy, just do the Pre-Test, go though the lab hours and your tests will be mucho mucho easy.
You only have to go to class half the time, which is great! The class is pretty easy, just make sure you do all of your lab time. Actually study for the exams, though. Unless you already know all there is to know about computers, you will NOT be able to just breeze through some of the tests without preparation.
If you don't get an A in this class, I don't know how. Morris is so nice, and will help you with anything. You don't even need her..simply because you don't go to class if you "test out" for that week. The class is self explainatory. Practice for the tests with the pretest and practice exam a few times and you're bound to Ace all of them.
Easiest class at Bama. If you don't do well, God help you.
alright...this class is really easy, yes, this is true. you only have to go once every 2 weeks unless you need to serve lab time. the lessons are so easy, and there are a lot of fine girls in the class. the thing is, it is EXTREMELY boring! i almost lost my mind staring at the computer screen for 2 hours when i served lab time. also, the second n..
(cont)the second negative is the helpers in the class are not helpful.its because they have so many kids to deal with they sometimes can be dismissive. one guy laughed at me when i had a question and i wanted to hit him. anyway, you can see this class makes you frustrated. its staring at a screen for a long time but its so easy its worth it.
the person below me basically summed it up. the class is very easy, but incredibly boring. I like computers but these lessons were just so stupid. you work on programs like access, word, powerpoint, excel, and windows. i did not like the environemnt: class was always cold and i did not like the helpers too much. easy tho.
CS 102 with her is GREAT. Lots of people have c's and d's but they don't study!! Spend 30 min before each test studying and you will get a 97/100. It's a 3 hour class so it's a big gpa boost. 4 bonus points for completing lessons/lab hours. Also, you don't have to go to class during actual class time except for the test which is every 2 weeks.
easy A and she gives extra credit!!!!she is helpful and really nice!
I took this class online, and it was wonderful. The lessons and tests were super easy, and since the class was online there were no lab hours. Professor Morris was extremely nice and helpful, and gave tons of bonus points as well. Overall a great course, and a super easy A+!
DIVA!
Kathy is great! She makes the class very simple and the requirements for the class are very clear. Very easy A!
Just like somebody said below, she IS a diva! I love her! She's so sweet, and this class is really easy. It's only hard if you get behind. The main thing to remember is you have to do well on the pre-tests or else you have to spend multiple hours a week in the lab. Class is on Microsoft Office and really basic computing skills.
Easy class. go finish your hours and you get bonus points. study the night before the tests and you'll be fine.
Easyeasyeasy class! go to your hours, complete 85% of each section to get bonus points and review the night before for each test and you will without a doubt get an A+. During tests the TA's walking around will sometimes give you the answer :)
Easiest class ever!!!!
literally easiest class on campus. do your lessons before the pretest and study for the pretest and you will never have to go to class. and then you automatically have 4 points added to your final average. if you have minutes just do them. easy A. take this class.
This is a super easy A is you are willing to put forth the least bit of effort. If you look over the material before the pretest for each section, you will not have to come to class all week. Morris is really understanding and helpful is something comes up and you miss class. She is really sweet and always accessible to students.
This teacher seems nice. I never really talked to her because all the work for this class is done on computer and there are computer lab aids so she may never be the one that actually helps you. This is a very easy A!!! No worries.
I cant stress enough that this is the EASIEST CLASS ON CAMPUS. You only go to class to take the exams. There is no final. And if you do all your lessons, you will be guaranteed an A on the exams and you get lots of extra credit points.
This honestly is the EASIEST CLASS ON CAMPUS. You only go to class to take the 6 exams, which are 50 questions, every other week. There is no final. If you do all your lessons, you are pretty much guaranteed an A on the exam and you will get lots of extra points.
TAKE HER! SUPER sweet and helpful!! Only come to class for pretest, then lab (or not if ur pretest is 90% or above) then Test every other week! LOTS of extra credit!! If u don't pass this class.....maybe you shouldn't be in college.....
Easy class. Go to class, do the homework, do a little studying, and you will get an A plus.
easiest class on earth
Professor Morris goes out of her way to help you. She encourages everyone to make good grades. She is a dedicated professor.
Prof. Morris is very willing to help you if you need it. The class was easy and you'll get an A if you do the outside work. This year, it was a hybrid course. You go to class once a week, but you have a lot of busy work outside of class. Practice the lessons and labs a lot and you will be in and out of class within 10 minutes. No midterm, no final.
Easiest class ever, only have to come once a week. She is super lenient about makeups and is always available to help.
Easy, easy class. Go once a week, do your work for 20 minutes, leave. Unless you're really computer savvy, it takes a little bit of out of class work, but she's so understanding, so nice and southern. Absolutely love her! Not bad to look at either.
This class is super easy. It is all online. Make sure you attend your class (it is only once a week), read the board and check your class site, and complete all of the assignments on time. Mrs. Morris is very nice, but you will probably not even talk to her much only if you need to. Study the online lessons and you will be fine for exams/projects.
The class is online and relatively easy. You have to complete lengthy lessons based on different components of Microsoft (i.e. word, PowerPoint) and a test on each one. With a little practice, the tests are easy. The class is easily passable.
I think it is easy to get a high grade.
This is a very easy class! If you're wanting to receive an easy A then this is the class to take. She is very helpful and on time to class. This is a GO TO!!
Super easy class if you need computer science credit. Just do the modules on time and you'll be fine. She puts up practice tests and projects that are exactly like the actual tests, so if you do them it's almost impossible not to get an A in the class.
such an easy class. just make sure you do all the lessons and are prepared for the exit exams and you'll get an easy A.
I LOVE THIS LADY! She is the nicest professor I've had at UA. If you don't take her then you are out of your mind.
Very nice teacher and as long as you do the lessons and practice tests you should get a good grade. She also offers a lot of extra credit!
Mrs.Morris is wonderful! She puts up practice tests that are exactly like the tests will be, so as long as you do the lessons and practice tests you'll make an A in the class. She is very nice and I enjoyed the class.
Easy class, do the work assigned (which isn't a lot) and you'll get an easy A.
its a really easy class, just do the homework and take a few practice tests and you'll make an A on the tests
Easiest class ever. The assignments take very little time, and you're pretty much guaranteed an A. Cathy Morris is very sweet and to the point. Class is supposed to last 50 minutes, but I was never there more than 20. Great class.
Easy class if you do a little practice for each project and test. In and out of class within 20 minutes everyday.
Easy class. Show up for twenty minutes, take a test, and leave. Only once a week. If you complete the lessons you will get an A.
Do your work and you will make an A. She is very easy to get in contact with.
Do the assignments and go to class and its a super easy A. Class only for tests and projects and takes no time at all. If you do the practice test/project then the actual test/project are the exact same. Easy class.
Go to class, do the assignments. Basically, an easy A.
I took the online course and it was very easy. Don't use a Mac to complete the projects (use the lab in Paty). A lot of bonus point available. If you don't make an A in this class you need to reconsider if college is right for you.
CS 102 with Morris is extraordinarily easy to get an A+ in if you try. I didn't try and missed several assignments. Even often forgot when tests and quizzes were and studied right beforehand. I still managed to get an A somehow. It's boring and you might learn a but but not much if you already know how to use a PC and MS Office.
Tests are easy if you complete the practice tests before you take them.
She is terrible!!! She messed our grades up all the way until the end of the semester and didn't say anything about it. I noticed my grade dropped a full letter grade at the very end of the semester. Then she caught an attitude when I emailed her about it. She is rude, uncaring, and a straight female dog. JUST TAKE THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE SMH
Best teacher ever!
Very friendly and easy. Make sure you practice online and the exit exams/ projects will be easy A's. If you do not miss any classes she gives you 2 bonus points to your grade.
EASY A - she gives you the lab assignments to practice a week before it's due. Perfect attendance will get you bonus points.
EASY A
TIME CONSUMING BUT EASY A! MAKE SURE U ATTEND EVERY CLASS SO YOU CAN GET THE STUDENT BONUS POINT THEY REALLY MAKE AN DIFFERENCE!
Super easy. You have unlimited chances to practice exams before you take the real ones. Real exams are EXACTLY like the practice exams, so there is no reason one can't make A's on every one of them. Course is over about a month before the semester is over. Also, no final. I recommend this class
You'll make a good grade if you just take the practice tests until you consistently make an A. Ms. Morris is very helpful if you contact her via email. If you do the work, you'll do well. The time you spend doing the practice assignments will reflect your final grade.
Easy class if you try! I can't stress enough the important of doing the practice lessons. Super nice teacher.
This class is beyond an easy A, it's an easy A+! I spent maybe an hour a week on this class and got a 100 average. As long as you do the work, which isn't bad, the class is ridiculously easy and honestly quite useful if you're not used to computers!
What you put into this class is what you get. If are not good with Microsoft office products this class might not be good for you.
Can't really rate the teacher because you never really see her, but it's an easy class. just do your work and you'll get an A.
Great teacher who is actually concerned with everyone passing. Make a point to meet her and she might help you out some.
Mrs. Morris is one of the nicest teachers I have had at UA. She is always has a smile on her face and is so willing to help. Keep up with your work and the class is easy. TAKE HER CLASS
For this class you do not even need a professor. You basically show up, take a quiz or do a project, get your grade and leave. Dr. Morris is only there if you have a problem with your assignments. Be sure to do the lessons before class, and practice the projects before the test date as they are exactly the same.
You have to put in a little work with this class but when you do, you'll get an A. It's not hard work either! I'm calling the textbook the code where you log on and do assignments. No book but you must have the code.
You really don't ever talk to the teacher unless you have problems, but she was very understanding with doctors excuses and you get one unexcused absence that you can make up at the end of each semester. Really sweet, and I would definitely recommend taking her.
You never really talk to Ms. Morris but if and when you email her with a question, she takes a chunk of time to respond to you. Do the lessons before 12 the night before class, they are extensive and time consuming but tell you everything you need to know for testsprojects. Tons of tests and projects tons of good grades IF you prepare for them.
The online class is just assignments through one program. There aren't any tests, not even a final, and the grading is a straightforward total point average. There's even a built-in grace period for all missed work. She has the class set up so well that you will rarely have any questions, but she responds quickly and clearly when you do.
Even though you won't do much with Mrs. Morris, it's an easy A if you put in any effort at all. She also spends time to e-mail instructions back.
So easy that it would be smarter to take online.
She's a good instructor. Taking CS 102 is all online, you come in once a week to do exams. If you do the online modules and then the practice exams, you will be fine!
Though I never actually laid eyes on her, she is excellent at returning emails. The classes are online and there is one exam a week. Lessons and practice exams can be taken repeatedly. Simnet is your friend. This class is on using MS Office and internet apps. If you have never touched MS Office you will need to study! Extra points for attendance.
I took this special topics class to finish up my minor and I'm glad I took Dr. Morris for it. She was very helpful and was always available for questions. Take her for exploring google!
Easy Credits, as long as you participate and pay attention you are guaranteed a good grade. Everything is self explanatory!
Well of course we use an online homework system, which is difficult for one reason: She does not teach us anything in class. We move so slow because certain football players are in the class and she wont dare go over the hard things in class but the remedial CS stuff. And when I asked her about it in an email she didnt reply.
If you come to class each week you will pass. There is a TON of homework and projects, but they are easy. Getting an A in this class is easy. She doesn't talk much after the first class but if you ever need help or have a question she is quick at responding.
This was an online class and Dr. Morris was so helpful with any questions and very supportive.
BEST TEACHER EVER!!!!
Do your lessons in SIMnet, go to class once a week for tests, and ask Dr. Morris if you have ANY questions, she will respond quickly. Very easy class if you put in about one hour of work a week! Loved it.
Wonderful professor! Do the homework and projects and take her tests once a week and you will have an A. She is very kind, clear, and helpful.
If you're looking for an easy A, take Kathy Morris! She is super clear on what to do, and a great teacher!
In this class, she isn't even important. I'm just giving advice, do NOT slack. There are like 50-75 lessons in one module that you don't want to cram in the night before. You go to class once a week to take the test and that's it. You have 3 major projects and test questions are kinda tricky. Just stay on top of the work and do the practice exams.
CS102 is a breeze as long as you do your modules and practice test at least once. You only go in to class to take the tests and are there for I'd say 25 mins tops. Just do your work and theres no way not to get an A! Would recommend.
The professor you take for this class really doesn't matter at all... Just do the online homework and show up for the tests. You'll get an A.
Easy A class if you know Microsoft Access. You do have to go if you want participation (upload to UA Box what was done in class). Lecture can be slow at times. Offers extra credit if needed, but really if you attend, do your work, you probably can make an A+ without even doing the extra credit.
Sweetest lady always there to help. not much hard work in class a lot is done online and you just show up to do your test once a week easy A if you pay attention.
The class is essentially all online. The only time you go to the specified lecture time is to take the exams, which is every week for each new lesson. I thought it was very easy, and that if you did the homework, the tests were easy to pass. No midterm or final, only make up exams during those weeks.... Would definitely take her again!
This should be an online class because you only show up to take the weekly test and there is no interaction with the professor unless you go to her for help. With that being said I got a 100% and never needed help. If you can change fonts and themes in word and powerpoint, you'll be fine. Warning: don't cheat. It's so easy and you'll get caught
Professor Morris is really kind and understanding. The material is pretty basic and easy, but there is so much of it. I took this class over the summer in a shortened semester period. If you are not the greatest at time management or getting lots of work done in a short amount of time, take this class over a normal length semester.
This class is pretty basic. It's an introduction to Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The weekly homework is very easy but also very long. You don't have to put much effort into the class to do well. The class period is only for taking the exam. Most days I was done in 5-10 minutes. Very easy A.
Class was online so never actually saw her. Always responded to emails and clearly told us days she would not be able to respond to emails. Software always messed up but she was always an email away and very easy to work with. This class didn't require much work for her but she was very helpful when there were software issues.
All you have to do is complete the lessons and projects and show up for the weekly test. This is a very easy class that you go to once a week and it usually takes about 25 minutes to complete the assessment; then you leave. You get two bonus points added to your grade if you attend every class.
OMG I LOVE Dr. MORRIS!!! such an easy class as long as you do all the modules !! highly recommend doing the practice exams also because they're exactly like the tests!! definitly would take this class again!!
You don't even communicate with the teacher unless it's the first day or if you have questions throughout the year. you can get extra points added to your average based on attendance so show up. Do the practice tests cause they're almost identical to the assessments in class. A few of the computer modules are difficult but everything else is easy.
You don't communicate with the teacher. Do the practice tests because they're identical to the weekly assessments in class. Get to know Dr. Morris, she really cares about her students.
CS 102 was super easy with her. The grading criteria was very clear and offered extra credit for not missing any classes. You only attend class to do tests once a week and all the homework is done online.
She was always in a positive mood and very approachable if you needed her help. She was respectful and always had updates on BlackBoard. Her class was easy if you do the hw and practice tests. Easy teacher and class.
Projects in each group do not reflect stuff learned in lesson sets.
I took an online class with her so we did not communicate much, but I was in the hospital at the beginning of the semester and she extended my deadline for my work. She was very nice and understanding, just keep in touch with her and don't wait until the last minute to contact her if you need anything.
Dr. Morris is so fun and helpful. CS 102 is a super easy class if you can handle doing not a lot of work each week self paced. Definitely recommend as a useful elective or computer foreign language credit!
This class was honestly a breeze, you have to try to fail this class. If you do your assignments you will definitely pass. I never had to communicate or reach out to her because everything was so straight forward. Start your work ahead of time, don't procrastinate. If you wait until the last minute you will be rushing to finish and hurt your grade.
This class was fairly easy but you MUST work for the grade. Theres so much unnecessary work but its such an easy class
Very easy class but the teacher is basically non-existent. I tried to reach out to her multiple times during the course and she was not accessible even in ways that she posted on her syllabus. Class was an easy A but this teacher was maddening.
I thought this class was super easy, but you will have to spend a little bit of time practicing for exams. The work load is not too much either, definitely recommend this class.
Dr. Morris is a great professor but if you take it during the summer it could be a lot of work, but she is very understanding.
Mrs. Morris is very helpful and understanding when you have questions. CS 102 is easy and I highly recommend her as a professor.
Pretty easy to follow online class. Clear instructions for assignments. Morris was accessible outside of class if needed.
Everything is online except 3 tests and no final. You have homework/projects due every week at 8am. Do it all in one day and you'll be fine. She always reminds you about everything. Super easy but do the practice tests and you'll be fine. A lot of "busy work" as the main grades besides the tests.
