She is a good teacher, she is just really really REALLY new. She hasn't gotten into her grove and is very particular. She wants things done perfectly, she sometimes gives very little info on assignments, and she expects a lot of time for homework and preps. Not a hard class but very frustrating and very very time consuming.

She is alright. Go to class and you are fine, doesn't require you to show up, so attendance doesn't count against you, but she always has these participation assignments so she ends up screwing you that way if you just do all of the homework online anyways. Despite how challenging the course may have been, it helped me to understand how much more there is to learn and improve upon. That being said, Mrs.Johnsons is a phenomenal asset to this institution and couldn't have been able to progress so much without her skills and knowledge.

I took Math 221, Biostatistics from Sister Johnson Winter 2023. The workbook we worked through in class was extremely similar to the test questions, so I it really helped. She also had office hours a couple of times a week. She also hosted a review session the night before the test. I missed 3 days of class and it didn't really affect my grade.

She is very willing to work with her students one on one. Class discussions are interactive and there is no shame in getting an answer incorrect. She helps the whole class figure it out. She sections the class into groups as well and that was very helpful for me. Overall, not a stressful class. She is willing to help you!

The Structure of Prof. Johnsons Class is what education has needed for years. She has high expectations for her students to be proactive about leaning while giving opportunities to fail and incentivizes students to go back and learn concepts they missed on the first go around. There's no getting around putting forth effort in her class to succeed.

Sister Johnson is great. The class itself is pretty tough but she gives lots of opportunities for you to better your understanding. One thing that was hard for me was the exams I always thought I did good and then the score was way lower than I thought. They are very finicky with decimal place and does not give you very good explanations.

I'm not going to lie, this class was no cakewalk. I had a bit of a difficult time at first trying to go it alone, but once I started going to office hours, I was able to understand how to write proofs a lot more. She was very caring, patient, and understanding. She would push me just far enough so that I could figure it out for myself.

Sister Johnson was very supportive, genuinely kind, and always willing to meet with me during her office hours. The concepts I learned in this class were mind-blowing, but interesting. The class was not traditionally structured, but it created an environment where we could gain a deep understanding and good foundation.

This class was hard, but the information is important. I had to put in a lot of effort to understand it, but it was worth it. Sister Johnson is willing to take time out of her schedule to help you, and you can tell she cares about her students! If this class is required for your major, make sure you go to tutoring and ask questions in class.

Professor Johnson is a great teacher who is extremely friendly and helpful, but what I appreciated most was how she structured her class. This was the first class that I felt the pace of the class was to help students know the material before moving on to the next concept. If you stick to the class schedule it is very possible to get an A.

We did a lot of practice on the material, pre-quizzes, class, and homework after class. She let us use a little card with formulas for the exams. If you do the work you will be ready for the exams even though they're long and challenging! She is always willing to explain and help you succeed. She was a great teacher. Extra credit opportunity.

Sister Johnson is a very good teacher! I know a lot of students complain about her grading system, but it's not so confusing once you get the hang of it. It's hard to receive an A, but it's a well-earned A instead of a bull-crapped one(an honest A). She's very willing to help when needed and she may seem intense, but she's actually just passionate!

They way she organizes the course is brilliant; if you do 80% of the homework, pass 15 out of 17 of the 5 problem assessments (which you can retake over once per week), and attend 85%, you'll be given an A. It's mastery based, not test based. But, get ready to self teach. Class is only to review what you learned. Helps students outside of classmost

She couldn't teach her way out of a wet paper bag if her life depended on it. You will teach yourself, or you will fail. She is incredibly condescending and talks to you like you are a 5-year old, which makes conversations with her unbearable. Pray you have a good TA, and get ready to watch a lot of YouTube tutorials.

Sister Johnson is INCREDIBLE. I thought I was going to have to retake calculus, because the material is just plain hard and takes a lot of effort outside of class no matter who you take it from. Sister Johnson was so generous and willing to work with me. Her office hours are a great resource. Her grading system helped me end with an A. She is great

The class is a good amount of work but is made entirely managable by Sister Johnson's forgiving policys on assignments. The workload is based on completion as compared to performing well on assignments and test (no test) The structure of due dates can be confusing at first but it's all on the syllabus and the first few class periods it's revisited.

I think that Sister Johnson is a pretty good teacher, but I wish that I had known what her teaching style was like. We learn online and she expects us to come in person and relearn the same thing. Attendance is also required for a grade. I wish it wasn't and because we learn online, I often felt like I was wasting my time coming in person.
