Wow! What a class! The teacher was so nice and you can really connect with her. Lectures and test are easy. She gives lots of extra credit. But that doesnt mean you're just gona slack off! If you want an "A" better work on it!

Mrs. Coder is a wonderful teacher, she gives her students something to think about and she knows her stuff! You do have to study for the test, but she makes it easier for you by going over the review. Taking notes is also a must in her class unless you have a photographic memory. Class and bookwork pertains to what you need to learn. Doesn't give you an unnecessary amount of bookwork, and makes it a lot of fun while she's at it. A lot of class discussion/group activities.

Took her online course and it was easy! Just make sure you check in to ecampus for assignments and due dates. Very helpful and wants you to be successful in the course. Do the review sheet for tests and scan through the text and you'll do great! If you keep up with due dates and answer all the discussion board questions clearly you will do great!

This class was easy! i have an A. mixed w quizzes and DB, even if you miss some u can still make up with extra credit. Not recommended though :)text book was rarely used but helpful for quizzes. it is needed to understand some DB! Highly recommended if you need sociology!!

One of the greatest professors on campus, she loves and cares about her students. She wants you to get an A, but through hard work. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER. She has 3 test, after test 1, if you did not do well, she will give you an extra credit paper that replaces your first/ second test grade. You can also earn extra credit by attending workshops.

I don't know what to say she is a sweet lady but her class is so confusing. She has everything scattered everywhere it takes a long while to understand where the information is located. Her discussions require you to do 3 different phases and will be so disorganized that you will totally forget which phase you are on.

TAKE HER CLASS, she's so nice & a great professor! Total of 12 discussion boards (which are interesting so they aren't that bad) & 6 quizzes (which are the exams- 30 questions). There is a short essay assignment as well & a few opportunities for extra credit. I took it online in 8 weeks & it was very interactive even though it was online, LOVED IT!

Never did I think sociology would have an impact as it did. Professor Coder is just an amazing human and she has so much knowledge to offer. I think everyone should be required to take this class as it is an eye opener. Kay Coder is truly the BEST. She loves what she does and you cant fail this class unless you really dont try.

She was incredibly helpful. It was a lot of work but as long as you do most of it its easy to pass. Always available to help, you can tell she really cares about her students. I took it in the spring so both in person and online she was great. A lot of assignments but she doesn't grade hard and most of the tests are multiple choice.

This class was very easy if you keep up with due dates. There aren't too many discussion boards but make sure you remember to post and reply. The tests aren't so hard if you view the PowerPoints. The quizzes are extra credit and super easy. All you have to do is write about the discussion boards in that unit. TAKE HER FOR AN EASY A!

Professor Coder goes above and beyond. This is the best online class I have taken. Instructions are very clear and questions are encouraged. Assignments are mostly discussion boards, but they are all pretty interesting. You can tell how much she cares about teaching and her students. Class is optional and all sessions are recorded if you miss.

Professor Coder is very caring towards her students. You can tell she is passionate in what she teaches and actually wants you to learn. She also helps you with any questions you may have outside of class. Her grading criteria is very clear and as long as you show up to class, do your work, and participate in group projects you will pass her class.

I would take this teacher again! She is super sweet and gives ton of extra credit I didn't have to do a few assignments since I already had an A+ in the class. Definitely recommend!

Professor Coder was so nice and her assignments were very helpful in learning the material. She gives you many opportunities for extra credit. Be prepared to read a book of instructions before you start your assignments, other than that this professor is an easy A.

One of the best Professors Ive ever had. Shes very engaged and gives so many of her personal life experiences where we can easily relate to the material that is being taught. A very respectful and understanding Professor and very funny too. If youre taking Sociology 1301, take her! You wont regret it.

This class was such a great experience to me! She gives great feedback in our discussion boards. The way I interreacted with my classmates, you couldn't tell we were an online class and I mean that in a great way! Stay on top of your assignments due dates and do the discussion boards, you will do great. I recommend everyone to take her class.

One of my favorite professors yet. Clearly loves her students and the subject she teaches. Lectures are always fun, she uses personal/real world examples to help explain concepts better. Attendance is important because of 10 participation activities that are counted for a grade throughout the semester. Also lots of extra credit opportunities.

She is very sweet and down to earth. I took her online class so I never got to meet her, but her presence was felt. She gave great feedback and great opportunities to get a high grade in this class. As long as you do your work properly you should have no problems at all.

Professor Kay is awesome. She was my first in-person class because of COVID, and I couldn't have had a better professor. You can tell she genuinely cares and wants you to learn. Professor Coder really cares about her students. She gives extra credit, so it is to your advantage to do the extra credits especially if it makes a difference in your letter grade. When doing your assignments always use spell check and grammar check. I would definitely recommend this Professor.

Absolutely wonderful professor and an amazing person. Her encouragement of participation made me wary at first, but with good classmates it honestly makes it really fun and she does make you feel like you're all a mini family. Nice professor! Be sure to reach out if any issues arise. Class consists of 8 Discussion Boards, 6 Quizzes, 1 Essay. LOTS of extra credit, I ended with 107%. Quizzes are not proctored and are 30 questions in 60 minutes. 1 or 2 Discussion Boards every week. TAKE HER

I love professor Coder she is my goat. SO sweet and inspirational and funny. She has an interesting life story and is just all around amazing. Her in class participation is so much fun and made being in class enjoyable - coming from someone who hates going in person to classes.
