Kouadio is a very hard teacher, but he will make you really learn organic chemistry. He does have a strong accent but its easier to get used to. He is so far my favorite chem teacher. I highly recommend him!

Took his winter term chemistry 1405 class...He is somewhat of a tough professor, but he tries his best to make sure everyone understands the material. His tests are difficult and studying his online notes or required text is highly necessary. Overall, if your not allergic to studying and cracking open your book once and a while you'll do fine.

U MUST ATTEND CLASS OR U WILL BE SCREWED! he uses his own lecture book and we filled in info as he went along. he is very clear, and uses many analogies. many people seemed to think he went too fast, but that's probably because they werent paying attention. I missed a few classes and still made a decent grade. Friendly prof!

He is the reason why I like chemistry now. He do not yell at you if you are late or not answering any question. Best Chem teacher so far!

I LOVE HIM! He's understanding, extremely kind and funny. He has an accent which may be hard to understand at first. But he's a wonderful professor and person. I highly recommend him. I have taken gen chem and the first part of o chem with Dr.Kouadio. He is the best professor at North Lake. He is very much dedicated to his students. His lectures are very clear,and easy to follow along. He is an excellent professor. I will be taking the second part of Ochem with him.

Professor Kuoadio is very dedicated to his students. He tries to keep things interesting. His notes are very helpful. He curves his test. Only bad thing is he doesn't like when you ask for your grade. I would recommend this teacher.

Dr. Kouadio is a very knowledgeable proffesor. He has awesome notes that you have to print out and fill-in in class. All you have to do is study the notes for the test to make an A. I didn't even buy the textbook.

I had Dr Kouadio for 1411 1412 2423 2425. His notes for Gen Chem were very helpful and a fair price. Printing the OCHEM notes was great. He is a very kind man personally and actually quite sensitive. You can do very well in his classes but you will have to study. Otherwise you will make it harder on youself. Dont blame him if you dont do well

he is the best chem teacher at northlake, he knows his stuff and makes it easy to understand, ochem is hard anyway so if u really wanna learn s.thing and make a good grade take his class .just show up and study his notes. Just like some of the students, personally didn't like him at first. Felt like he was shouting at us. Changed professors for 1412, and how much I regret that. Couldn't find same quality out there. Definitely a good professor, if you want to learn, get your money's worth, not have to teach yourself, he is the guy. I'm taking him for Org I & II.

Great professor, I took him his 1405 maymester class. Definitely interesting and smart, however I can see how some people might be annoyed by him. Just show up to class and getting an A or at least a B should be easy.

He's hilarious and amazingly brilliant. Anyone dumb enough to not take his class is a complete moron. So what he's a native african . I'm not gonn a lie yah hes pretty strict about cheating and asking dumb questions like "can you move the test to another day" or "personal questions". I don't know why you would ask that. He's AWESOME HE WANTS EVERYONE TO get A's... multiple choice tests!!! in the testing lab once a week for summer class... and he "secretly" curves all the test! you will be fine! TAKE HIM NOW!! Easiest OChem prof ever. MC tests and are curved. Not completely blow off class so know your material. Online HW is super hard but are not on the tests. Test is based on the template that he makes so you don't need the book unless your chem background isn't that good. Labs are long. Make sure he knows you and you'll do fine.

Very tough subject and a very intelligent teacher. His obviously thick african accent can be off putting to some, but he is very helpful and a very fun guy. I took CHEM 1411 the 1st time w/ a different professor & ended up dropping the class. After feeling discouraged, I decided to take it again w/ Dr. Kouadio..BEST experience & decision ever made. Proudly, I have just completed CHEM 1411 & 1412 w/ understanding & full appreciation. You can also succeed in this course by your INPUT & determination.

I took a fast track OChem 2423/2425 with him and I highly recommend him. He's very helpful and is very clear when he lectures.Very punctual on time. Tests are easy if you study. Just focus on his book and lectures. And go through the end of chapter summary b/c some questions come from there.You do these things,you'll get an A.Highly recommended!!!!

he repeats as many times as possible so you remember it in exam. he does most of the numerical and he has his own book, which make the course more easy.

Dr K was a great Prof for Ochem I&II. I made a B in both. The subject material is challenging but Dr K is compassionate and wants to help you learn. With a good attitude and legit effort, you'll do well in this class. Study the lecture templates.

I took his class 2423 and 2425 for both Summer 1 &2 and I got both high A. The material is really challenging, the lab is extremely long, and the online homework is horrible but if u try your best, you'll be fine

I had Dr. K over twenty years ago when he was just a TA at URI and he was the best teacher and person that I had ever had the pleasure of knowing. I was a poor student at that time, but he never gave up on me. Although I never made it through URI, I later graduated from NU w/ BS in Pharmacy. Owe "K" many thanks!

The type of professor you will remember when you're 80 years old. Dr. K has made me love and enjoy Organic Chemistry. This guy is the human embodiment of yoda. He runs the classroom like a dang Jedi. He is very quick at spotting potholes in your understanding, and he comically makes you focus in class. If you have an attention disorder this is the best teacher especially since Ochem requires a lot of attention to detail.

II took Dr. Kouadio this summer at TCC South East Campus. He is the best chemistry professor in DFW. He makes chemistry idiot proof. He covers entire book and you have to study hard to pass his class. Dr. Kouadio is very generous - he always gives extra point. If you pay attention to his letcutre – you will do fine.

Overall, students like him. He's very passionate and has a great attitude. I sometimes feel that he dumbs things down so much that I lose track of the big picture. He likes to tell stories and deviate from class, which I find refreshing, and often, interesting! My only complain is the hmk, it's long, tedious, hard. and worth 10% of grade.

Dr. Kouadio is really such a great teacher. I took ochem at A&M and it was impossible to understand so I dropped it, but when I took Dr. Kouadio's class he made it so easy to learn. He could be annoying at times, but also really funny. I really miss him!

Dr. Kauodio is a good professor, he is very passionate about Chemistry and is really funny in a goofy way. You have to buy his lecture notes but it's a great alternative from buying a 200$ book. The only thing I didn't like doing was the online homework but other than that he's a great professor.

There is no ambiguity in his class. Gives a very fair test and his class notes are concise. To anyone who say's he isn't fair, they are just lazy. Like any science class it will require a little more work than Art 1301.

He can come on strong with his humor and loudness. He is very old school in how he views questions; he believes there should not be any. Book needed to pass.

Doctor Kouadio is the reason why I find chemistry interesting! I'm for sure taking up to organic2 with him. His template is awesome and is all you need for class( including mastering chem). He expects to be respected by his students and he dislikes when someone acts silly in lec. You have to study because he likes active students in his class.

After despising high school chemistry, Dr. Kouadio was my first college chemistry professor. He instilled such a love and appreciation for chemistry (and science overall) that my minor area of concentration for my PhD is in Biochemistry. Take him for a class and work with him as hard as you can; he is a treasure to learning! It's "what to do"!

So Dr. K, as I call him is pretty clear cut. He expects you to study and know the material. He is very, very blunt about students not putting in the required work/studying. He's not tolerant of questions that indicate you have not studied. Come to him during office hours, he is much more understanding. He is lax about test dates, lax on HW.

Dr. Kouadio was by far my favorite and most helpful professor in undergrad. He is a very intelligent person and truly cares about his students. Dr. K will work you and expect you to give your full effort but it is very worth it. I can honestly say without him, I don't know if I would have been accepted to medical school. Took him Summer1 Chem 1411. Made a B, but thats all i was looking for. Hes a great teacher who brings humor to the class, BUT some people get offended sometimes. He's a funny guy who will mispronounce your name a couple dozen times. Just do his Take home quizzes and practice problems. Curves on 2 tests. Also, remember "UH HELLO" & "YOU'RE GOOD"

I loved this professor - he made Organic Chemistry so easy to understand and apply. Sit in the front row, he'll get to know you and you'll excel in the class. He's not about office hours, at least not in the summer, so it's best to ask questions before and after class. You have to try very hard to fail this class.

Prof. Kouadio is amazing! He is one of the few professors that actually care about how well you do in the class. Ask for help and he will give it to you. He's a little harsh with people sometimes but he does it for your own good. Do your Hw and study his lecture notes and you will do GREAT!

Professor Kouadio is beyond an amazing professor, from day one he tells you to not give up and that he will make it his priority that everyone succeeds. He keeps his word, gives you multiple chances to pass his class. Drops 2 lowest test grades and replaces lowest with highest test. There is 9 sections of online HW, that part sucks. HighlyRecommend

Dr. Kouadio is an excellent professor. Curves a lot of points on the exams and he's hilarious during lectures. You don't need to buy a textbook for his class but you do need to buy his lecture template and an online access code to do your online home work. All together will cost you about $125. Make sure you come to class or you will make a B.

Dr. Kouadio is the best! He is so funny! If you need an instructor to be there, he's the guy for you! Frankly if you have question for him, ask hindering his office hours! He is super helpful there! I took him for 2423 & now taking 2425. He's a my favorite professor by far and he makes chemistry very easy to understand. He's funny and engaging with the class which makes it interesting. However, studying is definitely needed. His lectures can get heavy so read the textbook & his templates to ensure a good grade. Overall, I highly recommend him!

I hadn't taken any chemistry for 10 years, I took O Chem1 last year w Dr. K and WOW speechless, amazing, understandable, teaches super good I got an A and now in O Chem 2, bc of him I love O chem and preparing for DAT has made it easy! At first I wasn't sure if I liked Dr. Kouadio, but as the semester passed I realized I was wrong and he's great. I took fast track Ochem 1 and 2 in a semester and he explained things so well considering we had to go at a fast pace. He's so nice and funny and makes a boring lecture entertaining. Just make sure to go every day!!!

Dr. Kouadio was my instructor for 4 semesters and I love him! He's very fun and all around kind. He takes teaching chemistry very seriously so in class do take heed and wait for his office hours to ask questions. He's pretty serious and corny but again very fun! I respect him as a chemistry professor and person!

I was terrified of taking organic chemistry in the summer, Dr. kouadio changed all that! The class itself is difficult a lot of memorizing at the last two tests, but overall I thoroughly enjoyed the class.

I finished Organic Chem I and II in the summer. It is a difficult class, but my recommendations are to use his textbook to study for the tests. He is a great teacher and would love to take him again. He is very funny and cares about his students.

He makes it very possible to pass the course but not going to lie, it was a lot of work. We had mastering chem and take home quizzes which were easy A's if you just do them. I feel like if you do what you are supposed to do you will be fine. My friend failed all of there test (barely) and made a B in the class as well. So just do the work!!

By far the best chemistry professor I have ever taken. I've taken chemistry 3 times and I never truly understood anything until I took it with him. Dr. Kouadio is hilarious and he truly cares about his students and their grades. I definitely recommend taking him, he's the reason I don't hate chemistry! What a guy.

Kouadio teaches my Ochem 2 in Fall 2017. It's fairly a tough class but I could see he tried hard to help. I'd definitely take him again but not with more than 12 or 13 credit hours. Good teacher overall

Took Dr. K for gen Chem 2 and fast track organic Chem 1 and 2. While these subjects are hard he does his best to make sure you understand. He calls peoples names while lecturing but that is the way he lectures. Very helpful and wants to make sure his students pass. If you cant pass his class you might as well give up on life

He will instruct you to complete a problem if we didn't have enough time in lecture and it will have a deadline. You as the Student, must "Study." and become familiar with the concepts in his Lecture Templates. Study Professor Kouadio, and he will TEACH YOU!

I took Professor Kouadio for CHEM 1411, 1412, 2423, and 2425. His class is simple. Come to class, follow the lecture, take notes, study for the test. 80 % of the time there's a curve on the test. The only materials you need are his lecture template. The lecture is in there and you just have to take notes in it and then study it. Easy A if you study

Attendance not mandatory but things he says in class are 100% on exams. HW on Sappling. Fairly recommended...

Tough class tough 5 exams. Though all multiple choice and similar to his template book questions. Not easy A but possible. Come to class and take notes then will be fine. Took him only part 2 O Chem 2425

Exams questions are similar to his template book problems and given in every lecture. Prof Kouadio does give curves to help you pass and even get A's if he sees you try. He does give Extra Credits to help your grade. I took his CHEM2425 Fall 2018. Not a tough class at all.

Attendance and textbooks aren't mandatory. Though they helped me a lot on all his exams. His template break down tough concepts in the textbook and made it easier to understand. Lectures are helpful for all exams but little bit boring. Got all 100's for CHEM2423 Fast Track

Dr. K is definitely a personality! He can be very frank at times, but if you participate and show genuine effort he will love you! Chemistry can be difficult, but Kouadio simplifies it and makes it easier to understand. My only complaint is his pacing of the course. A lot of material was crammed in at the end. He dropped our lowest test grade.

Dr. K is one of the best professors that North Lake College has to offer. He gets you ready for your upcoming professional school. Most of his students are interested in future medical fields. He will take care of everything that is covered on the MCAT, DAT and Pharmacy exams. Dr. K writes his own book and it is very useful for future tests as well

Very straight forward to explain the concepts. It is not tough to get an A in his courses. He gives extra credit also. Highly recommend him as a professor.

Won't answer questions directly which can be frustrating. He wants you to think on your own. OChem is just a tough subject, but he does what he can to help you get an A. Many students get As. You'll need to study outside of class, practicing reaction problems is the best way. The online homework program is awful. I did my homework with friends.

Very caring professor. Responds to emails quickly at virtually anytime of day or night. O chem is a tough subject, so look no further. He's a MUST TAKE!!!!

Took him for Ochem1,2. Have to do lab through online(lab flow). no lockdown browser, 5 hours for each test(maximum available time), two day window. Easy A. No recorded or live lectures . You could ask him for 1 hour sections each Tuesday, if you have any questions. Responds to email within 12 hours, always email him twice, so that he replies.

I took Dr.Kouadio for fast track organic chemistry I in Fall 2021. No quizzes or essays, just homework (Smart book) which will help you understand the material and the questions are good practice for the tests. He's not the best at answering questions during lecture so don't expect much help during class but he's accessible before and after.

Dr. Kouadio was an outstanding professor. I learned so much about organic chemistry from him and enjoyed his class. There was a lot of work to be done, but it was all very reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone.

He is a great professor. Very caring and hilarious. If you get a chance, take him, you won't be disappointed! I am so glad I took him for Organic Chemistry. Very doable if you plan your schedule ahead.

Prof Kouadio is a caring instructor who makes organic chemistry doable. Though not great at answering questions in class, he's responsive via email. I found Unstuck ai and the free textbook super helpful for acing this course.

Dr. Kay is very caring and really helps you understand the material. Just practice his template mechanisms and take every work in the course seriously to get an A.

Had Dr. Kouadio for Organic Chemistry II (8 week course 7am). He is passionate about the subject and he loves to connect chemistry with real life applications. He was never late and very understanding towards students with situations outside the classroom. If you want an A, attend his lectures on time and study his lecture book. He was the best.

I took his Gen Chem 1-2 and gen chem 1 was sooo easy, I got an A+. But chem 2 was harder and I barely passed with a C. He was so nice to me the first time I took him and responded to all of my emails, then the second time he was SO rude to me in emails. I'm not sure what changed. He literally sent me so many petty emails. Average teacher.

Dr. Kouadio is the best chemistry professor I have ever had. He has students who went on to teach at UC Berkeley and become doctors, engineers, lawyers. He is kind and easy to get along with.

I took Ochem 1 and Ochem 2 in 8 weeks, both in Fall 2024, and while it was fast, if you put in the work, you will for sure get the grade you want. He is one of the most caring and genuine people you will meet. He will do his best to make sure you understand the material, and he will go at a steady pace. He cares a lot about his class. Great guy.

Took his 1411 class in Fall 2023 and his 1412 class in Spring 2024. He curves the test for in person, and his tests weigh 45% of the actual grade. Very hands-on during the labs and helps you with HW. Very caring; he definitely knows how to teach the material. Just let him teach and participate in class. His tests are all multiple choice.
