She is a bad professor i've ever seen!!!
Nevr take her class!!
Didn't teach well...a lot of reading
Not a bad professor, but can be very mundane. Explains way too much, and likes everyone to agree with her opinion. (so don't you dare take your own stand) If you do the work you are garanteed and A or B.
I do not care how hard she grades. if she was a little prettier and single, I would ask her out. NICE PERSONALITY <REALY NICE PERSONALITY>
she's super nice. i had her for writing one and i'm gonna have her again for wrtg 2.
She is a nice teacher, she helpes her students alot all you need to do is ask her for help. She pretty much maps out how she wants the assignments to be. If you talk to her she is very understanding.
Her last name is actually spelled Ryals. She is very nice and is very articulate and you know what is required of you every class session. If you show up, participate and do the work, you should get at least a B, if not an A. I learned a lot from this class. Thanks professor.
Prepare to do lots of reading! She assigns 60 pages of reading at times. Grades pretty hard and very critical of how you write. I managed to pass with a B. Overall is is not very exciting and makes it difficult to take interest in the readings.
Show up and turn your work in on time. Participation is a good way to guarantee a decent grade. Helpful both in lecture and office hours. Overall a good teacher but you have to go into that class knowing what you are doing.
Easy A. If you tried to talk with her, she will help u alot. international student choce
i guess anything is easy if your good at it. writing sucks for me and compared to past wt. teachers i had, she is not one of my favorites. don't even bother buying the book. her class is really boring and she is not clear about what she wants you to do.
The first humanities professor who is biased!
Her classes aren't hard, but there is definitely A LOT of reading. Lectures are decent but at times boring. Come to class, write 2-3 decent papers and you are guaranteed an A. She is very understanding if you ever need to talk to her. Make sure not to get on her bad side...or else you are screwed! Participation in discussions will get u an A.
Ryals Class is very cut and dry.Read,discuss,tests,paper.We had 3 papers,Midterm,Final, and 2 or 3 quizess, THATS IT.At time lectures got boring, but do the reading and its not that bad.Shes a nice lady and overall it was an okay class.I would take her again for lit 20 if I could, that would be an A for sure but unfortunately cannot. :(
great teacher! she is so nice and has really insightful comments on papers
Dr. Ryals is very very awesome teacher. Her class is kinda slow, and boring, but if u dont miss her class u can get very GOOD essay grades from her.
At first I was intimidated by her, especially with all the reading and writing. But I have to say, without it I wouldn't be the writer that I am today. She may be quiet but she is an amazing professor.
Oh dear god that class is PAINFULLY boring!!
Great teacher. Explains everything, almost too much. Very helpful. Nice and friendly and understanding. Gives essays and reading as homework. Not very difficult if you can write and read.
she was very nice and good on grading papers
It is quite boring, but shes pretty helpfull and tells you exactly what she wants on her papers, you dont do that many papers anyways. Just stay on schedule and its an easy A.
caring and patient. she offers a lot of extra help. just talk to her and enjoy the class.
Extremely nice and caring with immense insight. By far, the best humanity teachet at I.V.C.
Best Proffessor on Ivc. I highly recommand her.Very helpful and caring.
Dr. Ryals is very helpful and she only wants you to write well. Her essays are pretty much spelled out for you and if she feels the class needs more time to work on them then she'll give it. She also spends a lot of time going over the texts which really helps when writing the essays.
During the first two weeks she will drop you if you miss one class, so be there. Her workload is fair and makes sense. Effort is a must. She had us write four papers, and gave one oral presentation. The material read and written on was for the most part boring, now she uses different books, so if your willing to work hard, you will succeed.
Not an easy class, but definitely possible to get through. She can sometimes be boring though because she can be monotoned. She does discuss the readings in class, but it's good to read before-hand that way you can participant in discussions. Do the papers and readings & you'll be fine.
Dr. Ryals is an amazing teacher. She is really helpful and really clear on what she is lookin for in her papers. If you go to her office hours it will help you a lot, i highly recommend you take this professor. Sometimes her lectures can be boring but she is a fair grader and is really nice
GREAT PASSIONATE MODEL TEACHER!! WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FROM A TEACHER!!! SHE MAKES THE SEMESTER GOES BY QUICKER. HOWEVER, YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO WRITE AND WRITE LEGIBLY! I WOULD RECOMMEND HER FOR WRITING. SHE BREAKS THE BARRIER BETWEEN THE PROFFESSOR AND STUDENT. EXAMS ARE GRADED FAIRLY (IF YOU WRITE UNDER THER RULES OF LITERARY TERMS YOU'L BE FINE
she isn't an easy going teacher, she will give you extra time on your paper if the class needs it though. If you aren't doing too well in the class and you ask her for help, she is EXTREMELY discouraging. Seems like she chooses favorites, and if she doesn't like you for whatever reason it may be, you are screwed. So don't get on her bad side.
Don't recommend this teacher. She's not that nice, however will sometimes go out of her way to help a student. She is a fair grader, but she expects way too much from her students, both reading and writing wise. I wouldn't take her again.
I approached her at the beginning of the semester about not being a good writer and she helped me. She gave me plenty of advice and cut me a lot of slack. Show up to class and show that you're trying and you'll get a B.
Difficult teacher, she'll really challenge you especially if you get on her bad side. If you're taking writing 2, you'll have a load of work, but she'll grade you fairly. She MIGHT be kind of bias on suburbia, so you probably won't want to argue against it. Work hard in the class and you'll get a good grade.
She doesn't know how to be nice because when I asked her a question about the homework because she didn't clearly explain it to the class, she YELLED at me and stared at me untill I turned around because I didn't know she was yelling at me. I do not recomend her class at all to anyone and I wish that I dropped her class when I had the chance!
very poor teacher. If you get a bad grade on the first assignment she will not give you any room for improvement. And if you do improve, she will remind you that your work couldn't be that good because you got a bad grade on the first assignment.
I would not recommend this professor, she teaches as if she teaches the same stuff every semester, it is lack luster and boring. You think you are going to get to write about what you want, but then she puts a whole bunch of restrictions on you. She kind of make you feel stupid if you have to ask questions that she may have already answered.
prof ryals hates her job. she hates her students. she says shes not gunna hold your hand cuz it's college but she is really strict in all of her assignments. if you miss a class or two and turn all of your work on time she grades your attendance in your paper and not your skills. she's bias. i would not recommend this class to ANYBODY. not helpful
prof ryals hates her job. she hates her students. she says shes not gunna hold your hand cuz it's college but she is really strict in all of her assignments. if you miss a class or two and turn all of your work on time she grades your attendance in your paper and not your skills. she's bias. i would not recommend this class to ANYBODY. not helpful
Took this class in the summer, not recommended. She's not clear on how she grades. I turned in an assignment that I thought I done well on she said I did poorly. The class moved fast so there was a lot of content and attendance is a MUST. I wasn't able to finish the class due to personal issues. She does mention she teaches the same stuff over
Mrs. Ryals is one of my dearest friends, who I will never forget. I have taken her 3 times. There is alot of reading so BEWARE. She can be a little forgettful at times, but she is really nice. Work hard in her class and you can pass.
She prepared me well for what will be required when I reach the university and I am grateful for her rigorous and inspiring teaching. She also wrote me a letter of recommendation. Students who complain about her just don't want to learn, in my opinion.
Prof Ryals is one of the best Writing professors in IVC. She is very helpful and clear. The assignments might be a little bit vague sometimes, but it's because she's giving you more "freedom" on what to write. As long as you do all the drafts and write the essays with effort, it is pretty much a guaranteed A.
Way too much work for a Writing 2 class. Not and easy A at all if that is what your looking for. Also, has very long and boring lectures.
I hated this class so much. It was impossible for me to relate to anything she had us write about - It was a nightmare. She thinks that because she can relate to the abstract topics she chooses to write about, everyone else should. This teacher sucks!
Took her class in the summer; the pace is quick and you HAVE to go to class for directions and expectations on the essays. If you attend class and make sure you take the responsibility for yourself to clarifications on the topic, an A is very possible. She was very nice with our class: parties, extended due dates, etc. Good teacher overall.
Does not hand back any work. There is only five weeks left in the semester and the class has recieved only one assignment back, so there is no way to judge how she grades or how you are doing in her class.
Professor Ryals is an okay teacher overall. Her lectures beat the dead horse, and she sometimes gets discouraged when the class doesn't participate. Her assignments are vague and not the most fun topics, but she tries to make it easier for you. She is an intelligent person, but she gets boring.
Kay is an awesome teacher. She is very empathetic and is passionate about instilling sound writing skills in her students. She is very detail-oriented, smart, amiable, and negotiable. She's open to meet students during office hours and offers meticulous feedback when grading essays. If you want to learn how to write well, take her!
the class consists of four essay papers. we spent time for peer review and book analysis in class. she posted VERY helpful handouts on BB to help us with structuring and the basics of essays. she also gave individual help to anyone who needed it. all the readings she assigned were interesting. SHE IS A GREAT TEACHER AND SHE CARES FOR HER STUDENTS!
Great teacher. Need to show up for class. Lectures can get pretty boring but speak up and get involved with discussions. We did 4 essays but they were broken down and given lots of time which made them manageable. If you put the work in you will do well. Ryals is very helpful and is always there to help you do your best.
She's the greatest writing teacher I've ever taken! Throughout discussions, she gives you all the clear points you have to know to write an essay. She wants you to be original and clear when you write an essay--which every writing teacehr wants. Essays are not easy to write, but you can do it if you put an effort!
Dr. Ryals was a really good writing instructor. She has that college level professionalism except for the fact that she missed a lot of class. The class felt like it was falling apart because half the class showed up but it affects your grade if you dont. Her essays were vague topics but she tries to help you as much as possible.I recommend her!
Tough, but fair. Despite this, Professor Ryals is the most helpful professor I know of. If you're actively engaged in the reading, as you should be with any literature or humanities course, you'll find the class immensely rewarding.
Tough, but fair. If you listen to the discussion in class you will find out exactly what to write about.
Fair grading. Interesting text choices. Participate in class and ask questions. Attendance is mandatory only because you need to be present for discussions in order to get a thesis that will earn you an A. In-class peer reviews are required for the grade but are meaningless as far as help on your paper.
must show up to class, but lectures dont helpfull. you still scratch your head when you walk out & have no idea what you read or was important in the lecture or not. no writing on boards, no specifics on most important details. totally lost. grades hard, extremely hard. hardly gives back work, & if she does its late. not very approachable either.
This teacher is not helpful and approaches everyone like they do not know anything and she is not helpful and acts like she is being forced to teach us even though she does not want to
Professor Ryals thinks just because she is the head of the honors department that she can be mean to all of her students.
The B>E>S>T Professor ever. If you are willing to work hard, Take her class. You won't regret.
peer reviews are helpful! very kind, approachable teacher!
horrible. too scattered brain to every grade work. harsh to some students as if their stupid. this is not an honors class so don't expect everyone to perform like one. don't take this class!
Terrible....let's just leave it at that.
I enjoyed this class although lots of reading and papers to write (this is college) she knows her stuff. I recommend this class but only if you are a good reader/writer. Her tests are hard too. But she is extremely nice and you will learn a lot.
She may seem intimidating at first. (After all she is the honors chair) But when you go to her office hours, you will find her very nice, humble and helpful. Class could be hard but it is worth it. You will find yourself with much advanced writing skills by the end of the semester if you dedicate your effort.
Best professor I have had so far at IVC. She lectures in a way that is very thought provoking, but also very accessible. There is a lot of work (you have to write 5+ 2 page papers and 1 7+ page paper). The midterms and final are in essay format. She is truly a great professor and I highly recommend taking her class. You must work for your A!
she can be a little challenging cause like shes the honors chair haha but i really enjoyed her class she is funny and shes really nice. as long as you put in the effort to see her during office hours you can do good. if you just sit in class and dont pay attention or ask questions... not the teacher for you
I had a hard time at first when I took Professor Ryals' writing 1 class. However, through her guidance during office hours, I improved a lot. She gives great direction when writing essays and is very patient if you are havng a difficult time. I truly recommend her as a professor!
I have taken a few classes with Professor Ryals and each of those classes have been rewarding and insightful! Professor Ryals really knows how to engage students and will always make time to give students feedback to improve their writing. She's also extremely encouraging and wants all of her students to become better writers.
I took Dr. Ryals Honors Writing 1 class, and she is a great teacher. She is very hardworking, thought-provoking, and cares about her students. Her class requires a lot of work though. An autobiography project (4 parts), a annotated bibliography assignment, and 4 5-8 pg essays. Make sure you go to class the class discussions will help you.
WR1/LIT32: Dr. Ryals may seem a little intimidating at first, but once you get to know her, she is really caring and funny. My advice is to ask her questions when you have them; she is very knowledgeable, helpful with essay/general questions, and really does want her students to succeed. She isn't necessarily easy, but I would still recommend her!
Had Doc Ryals for Writing I, and that class was a blast. She definitely cares about her students and surprised us with treats on a few occasions. The essay prompts can be a little vague, but just go to her for help with your essay. She'll point you along the right path. Very friendly, very funny, and very awesome. Shame she doesn't teach Writing 2.
class can be difficult, cancelled class frequently
One of the best professors I've ever had- definitely knows her stuff. Challenges you to really think about and see the material in new ways. Class discussions are fun, and her curriculum is interesting. You'll learn a lot about yourself, and greatly improve your writing if you put in the effort. She wants her students to succeed. Don't be lazy.
Ryals is a challenging teacher! Some people thought she graded hard but I found she grades extremely fairly. She gave a lot of feedback during conferences and if you do exactly what she tells you do you should get an A or B. It requires a lot of work, writing, rewriting & paper! But I got an A. Don't get outside help. She'll call it cheating.
Had her for honors. Was nervous bc I thought shed be tough, but she just pushes you to work hard! Makes class discussion interesting especially if you like to talk. LOTS of writing, but to be fair its a writing class! She breaks essays into chunks so you dont feel overloaded. Topics can be hard but she helps you try to understand them
Ryal's class took me a while to understand. She gives you the topics for essays ahead, so try not to procrastinate because she likes seeing improvement through drafts. She is pretty helpful if you go in for her office hrs, &genuinely cares about her students. Do what she asks, especially when it comes to clear topic sentences&theses &you'll do well
Do not take this class unless you are prepared to do LOTS of reading at a time or you have a very light semester burden. I was absolutely exhausted from the first couple reading assignments and came to the realization that this was going to be a regular thing. Dropped it and I'm glad.
Dr. Ryals takes her time to make sure things are clear are understood, She moves fast through her Powerpoint slides, but she posts them on blackboard so you can look them up at home. She gives ample time to prep for tests, and does detailed in-class prep. Ryals is an incredible interesting teacher who brings new life to what can be a tired subject.
Dr. Ryals is a teacher who cares about her students and tries her best to make them better writers. she requires a lot of reading(4 books+ in 1 sem.)and writing(4 big essays).class discussions&peer reviews often. When writing essays, the essentials: -Thesis statement -Topic&Concluding Sentences body para structure Claim-evidence-analysis
Grade is based on 4 essays you write throughout the semester. Small class size and interesting readingsprompts. You will get a lot of individual attention and really notice yourself becoming a better writer if you put enough time and effort into the assignments.
I highly recommend Dr. Ryals as a WR professor. There's going to be many essays and at least one researchterm paper. Pretty standard for any WR class. If you're shooting for an A, do every single reading and writing assignment. Once you're behind, it's really hard to catch up. Always have either Dr. Ryals or your classmates review your essays.
Professor Ryals is such an amazing teacher. She really cares about her students and goes out of her way to help. The class is seminar like (small) and your grade basically consists of 4 formal essays. I wished that Professor Ryals would teach WR 2 so I could take her again. She looks out for the students who want to excel.
Professor Ryals is a wonderful lady. She's kind, smart and really helpful. You can tell she really cares about you, the student. She's there to help if you're struggling. I definitely recommend.
Dr. Ryals is a wonderful person. As a teacher however, there are some problems. This is a writing class, and every person has their own style of writing, but you will not do well if you don't write the way she wants you to write. That was the worst part. The good thing is that she is always there to help. GO TO HER OFFICE HOURS. That will help you.
Dr. Ryals is amazing! At first she seems really tough, which she is, but she gives you really good and helpful feedback if you go to her during office hours or email her. Her assignments are very complex, but in the long run this has been the best English class I've ever taken. I was pushed more and therefore learned more than any other class.
Professor Ryals is amazing & really cares for her students! You truly learn a lot in this class. Some papers can seem kind of long but most prompts are interesting. As long as you put in good effort, you will get an A! Utilize her office hours & get your papers reviewed before you turn them in. Definitely recommend taking this class with Ryals!
Dr. Ryals is an extremely knowledgeable and nice professor. The biggest tip when it comes to her essays is to use TONS and a VARIETY of evidence from the text and follow up with a good chunk of analysis. She is very helpful and reasonable and really does help her students when asked. I would recommend her and her class. Overall, great professor.
She is a very knowledgeable and helpful professor. This writing class has really helped me think deeper about texts and has made writing essays a lot easier. She is a tough grader and her assignments are complex; however, she does everything she can to help. Use a variety of evidence/come up with original ideas and you're good. I recommend her!
A truly amazing teacher. By far the most talented, considerate teacher, that truly cares about her students that I have ever had. It is very unfortunate that other students in my class treated her terrible, as she consistently went out of her way to hold us to the highest standard possible. Thank you,
If you truly have a thirst for learning, Professor Ryals is the way to go. She gives great constructive feedback and I'd imagine her intelligence is off the charts. She seems to really "get it". She would the the few professors I know that seem to truly care. Her class was tough, but I learned a lot.
Great professor, super knowledgeable and really cares about her students. If you ever have questions or difficultly, she is more than ready to help you. Fair grader, but beware that she is particular. For this class she specifically wanted an intro sentence and conclusion sentence for every paragraph so just be sure to follow that stuff!
Would NOT recommend online! SO much work it's super difficult to keep up with. There isn't good feedback from teacher or peers either because it's online.
Dr. Ryals is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough and truly cares about teaching. I enjoyed the books she chose for our course and the variety in our essays. I've heard other classes focused solely on one topic the entire sem and I was really glad we didn't. Since it was online I liked that we got to pick and choose what to respond to. Def recommend!
If u have gotten solid A's in the past on papers, u should do fine in this class. She tells u what she wants and DEFINITELY go see her during office hours to fix your essay, even if you think it's good. 4 essays total, and research project due at the end. Laidback teacher- have pushed back 2 essays due to her unavailability 4 help & missing class.
Ryals is great! She gives really good personal feedback for everyone's essays/work. Lots of peer review in her class, but it really makes you a better writer. Sometimes she gives candy/cookies :). Also doesn't hurt that she's the Honors Program director, so you can ask her questions about HP if you need to.
She's really sweet so make sure you're good to her! Make sure to look at your syllabus and make time to read and annotate. Pay attention to the rubrics and try hard (:
Ryals is a nice and personable professor. She was a bit disorganized though but made up for it by extending deadlines. Her feedback on papers was limited but if you make the effort to ask for more help she'll give it to you no problem. She really wants you to try and talk to her for feedback so you can do better. There's a LOT of reading though.
Very nice lady, her syllabus isn't 100% solidified she occasionally cancels classes so it changes but that's good because she does what's best for the class and its students. She takes a while to input grades, but she gets it done! She offers extra credit opportunities! Her quizzes can be challenging but if you read you should be fine!
Professor Ryals makes you really care about what you are reading. Extremely nice person, very intense, shows an interest in her students, enthusiastic about her area of specialty (American Literature). You HAVE to show some interest to get something out of this class, and you will not do a good job if you skip lectures often. Makes you work for it.
I already love literature, but Prof Ryals brings something special to it. She has really interesting lectures and the class would go by really quickly. I was a little worried that I wouldn't enjoy this class, but by the end of the course I bought the textbook that I had rented. She makes the subject really, really interesting.
I took her online course during the summer and it was one of the hardest classes I have taken. There is reading every night followed by a 300 word post and 300 word reply to each of two classmates. She is very clear with her direction so there is no confusion on her expectations. This was a great class but it requires real dedication and effort.
Professor Ryals is very sensitive and if she doesn't like you personally she will definitely make it known to you and the rest of the class that you are less than them. if you're someone that isn't into kissing ass and being overly friendly to how emotionally demanding she is, she will give you really bad feedback and nothing will satisfy her.
Ryals is very sensitive and if she doesn't like you she will make you and the rest of the class know because she will belittle you in front of all of them and start ignoring your emails. I didn't like her class because she always left negative feedback on things I scored 20/20 on and never gave me good feeback on the things I aced unlike my friends
one time a student came in late and she started shouting at him in front of everyone and completely degraded him which takes away from the time we have for class and shows she has a lot of anger she takes out on us. She would tell me over email to talk to her about smth in class and when I would she'd suddenly ask me to go sit down and not answer m
She is not happy when you are against with her point. She does not take criticism after student gave out opinion about her class. She makes student work harder and grade harder after we said her class is hard and a lot of work. It is because she asked our opinion and so we told her the true. She can't admit that she is wrong. She attacks everyone.
Professor Ryals was probably my favorite professor this semester. She is very kind and gives good feedback in and outside of class. Her prompts and essays are as difficult as any other class would be, but she give students many opportunities to improve. There are peer reviews and audio feedback that help a lot.
Professor Ryals is a good professor, but she makes you work for your grade. I took her online WR1 and there was a lot of reading, discussion posts, peer responses/reviews on the daily. She was considerate towards her students and lowered the word count on discussion peer reviews, and gave really helpful feedback on essays. Fair grader.
Professor Ryals is overall a great professor. She can be a little clumsy in regards to sensitive matters like race issues, as we read a lot of colonizer literature. You can see that she doesn't have mal intent though, and is quite open to honest dialogues. Homework is easy, just READ the stuff. Her midterm wasn't hard, and the class itself was fun!
EASY A. You can find the extra credit in quiz feedback, essay prompt, and class hand-out.... So read everything she provides early cause some extra credit is first come first serve... there are four essays and she gives great feedback on the draft, and she gives full credit as long as you did the discussion, quiz. weekly discussion and quiz.
bad schedule and you have to check canvas every second. You are completely on your own with no assistance from her; you must read a lot of material and combine it with other material; you must always have an opinion; it was more like psych and political debate; you will not receive grades until the very last minute!
Lots of meaningless readings. useless feedback. No patience. Not really care about the students.
So messy. Assignments, quizzes, discussions are scattered everywhere. She grades pretty tough and her comments sometimes don't make sense. You can tell she is really strict on stuff and by stuff I mean everything, so if you like writing and are passionate about it sure taker her but prepare to work for an A...
Dr Ryals is a very experienced prof as she grades fairly. However, she focuses more on how you cite evidence and formate the paper more than the paper quality itself. Highly recommend going to her OH the week a paper is due so you can get ample feedback. Read the actual texts given, she will check on thorough comprehension of those. Great prof
Pretty easy class. I sometimes I turned in essays thinking "this is kinda trash" but I get good scores back. Just make sure you READ the material. I took this online course in the summary and one thing I did not like is how fast paced it was. We had an essay due every week and a half.
Professor. Ryals grades hard, so make sure you spend time working on your essay multiple times before submission. She is nice and supportive, so make sure you use office hour to ask questions and have her take a look at your essay. Overall, pretty hard grader, but you will enhance your writing skill.
Professor Ryals was so amazing; I absolutely loved her. She was funny on zoom, telling us random stories during her lectures. For material, as long as you read, listen to her lectures, and review her slides, you should do good on her exams. When it came to my personal issues, she was really understanding; be sure to reach out if anything happens.
She was super sweet and understanding. I joined her office hours and got a lot of good feedback; she acknowledged my effort of going to her O.H. and gave me an 100 on my essay. Only like one discussion post, peer reviews, and reading quiz per week. Light reading (Book: Outliers). If you don't like reading you could just research a summary.
took this as an online course in the summer. Standard writing class, you need to read and write essays. Had a total of 3 essays and one final assignment, but since it was summer course it felt like an essay draft was due week after week. But she graded essays leniently. You just have to read the book and put in the effort to write your best.
As long as you follow the prompts and instructions, you will receive an A. She mainly cares about the format of your essay. Be wary of due dates as they don't always pop up on the to-do lists so it is easy to forget. Overall a very average, standard writing class. She also does not answer emails very quickly.
Hi everyone, please make sure to read throughly. This professor is near filth and i would give a 0 if possible. I wouldn't recommend taking this at all and please choose any other professor. She grades terrible and never lets you retake. She has a attitude and gets mad and accuses you of CHATGPT even when you didn't. Worst experience ever.
Not at all professional and doesn't care if you succeed or pass this class. I let her know multiple times this was my 3rd time taking this class and she didn't seem to care. She said its unfortunate that you can't pass and its all on you. Worst experience ever DO NOT TAKE
Professor Ryals runs a standard writing class - focus on format over quality. Make sure to read the textbook and attend office hours for feedback. unstuck AI can help with essay prep. Overall, an average experience.
She's a tough grader. Or at the very least, a subjective grader. Half the criticism on my papers have been against my political stance. If you are fairly liberal, don't let her know that & honestly play up a conventional republican character for brownie points. My papers were genuinely well written, dm me if you doubt it @shakmusix Instagram.
