Knows the subject well. Hard class BUT Prof is super helpful. Do this class if you want to learn. Do not miss class, you will fail - she goes through everything in class; if you miss, you won't do well. Grades fair, gives good exams, and you will learn a lot. Take her!!!

Very informative instructor, she makes the material very easy to understand, in what is otherwise not an easy subject. Textbook use is very little, I barely read the book and learned much more from her lectures. Her exams arent too hard as long as you take notes and study.

I had Campbell for Econ 1 and loved her so much I made sure I had her for Econ 2. Next semester I am taking Econ 10 with her. She is the best Econ professor you can get. She is clear and takes the time to make sure you understand. She is more concerned about you understanding Econ than she is just getting through the class. Get in her Econ classes!

This was an elective History course. Very interesting subject. The teacher was an econ teacher talking about history and it was good! Exams were good, did quizzes but a very expensive text. Very hard to fail this class. The teacher was working hard to make sure everyone passed.

Her class is really easy. She pretty much teaches everything out of this hand-written econ bible she seems to always use. Course is interesting. No book is necessary. In general Econ 2 is very hard, but she makes easy and interesting course for the student. Her notes are very complete and clear because she gives what materials we need for tests and final. Econ 2 is a tough subject. Prof Campbell make it easy to understand. Notes are very clear, book is not necessary. She will let you know exactly what you need to study for exams. Prof. Campbell was honestly my saving grace for Econ 1. The class was really tough but her notes were very clear cut, and her tutor that was attached to my class was also very helpful! She assigns in-class projects and take home projects, 3 exams and some quizzes here and there. If you come to class you can pass just be prepared to STUDY!

I took ECO 1 in winter. Her policy is very effective for 5 weeks course. Mon, Tue, Wed lecture Thu - test. Lecture is very clear. You have to be attentive in her lecture and take 100% note what she writes on the board. The tests are all from class notes and lecture. Needs real understanding to secure A, not that difficult. 100% recommended.

This class can be challenging, but like other classes, you need to put in the work. The exams can but tough with 100-200 questions, but they are similar to the practice quizzes and assignments assigned every week. Professor Campbell also gives many extra credit opportunities. Put in the work and you'll get the grade.

She is really funny and uses great examples to make everything clear and easy. You get three exams and one final, none of which are cumulative. You do have to study hard if this stuff doesn't come naturally to you, but that's all classes.

Campbell is very quick to email you back if you have questions. The class homework and quizzes are very easy, and she gives a lot of extra credit. Only problem is that the midterm and final are NOTHING like the quizzes and the questions are impossible! (coming from someone who got an A on every assignment but got a D on the midterm and final...)

Economics is tough, and its tougher online. But Her grading is clear, and even though she is a tough grader, she does give you opportunities to improve your grades. So be prepared to work super hard to earn that A.

Great professor. Class is graded off of a few discussions, quizzes, and a midterm and final. All of these are easy as long as you keep up with the reading. There have been times where questions on tests were wrong, but she was willing to correct them very fast. She also gives a lot of extra credit. Solid GE choice.

Kaycea is a good teacher. The online class is one you can pass. Read and do all the assignments. Too strict with late policy. Not easy A but if you slack off you wont do well. Exams use a webcam so thats differnt. Solid online option but work.

Prof. Campbell was a super solid professor. She wants you to get an A and lean in the class so she is super engaged with each student. There were quite a few assignments and tests but they're pretty easy if you pay attention and read her feedback. I would definitely take her class again.

She is very knowledgeable and will not accept any work that you only "try" your best on. Meaning it has to correctly follow grading rubric and have the right answer (in depth) to the question. She is very specific but a professor you can ask for help any time! Extremely difficult to get past a 85 on test because of all the material they have.

Amazing teacher!! I took honors macroeconomics with her. I really liked her lectures and teaching style. Learned so much during this semester. There are 4-5 homework assignments each week, including 1 quiz for each chapter. It is easy if you read the materials and listen to her lectures. I would definitely take her again. She is the best.

Bittersweet experience in this class, had an A all semester but did poorly on the 200-point final that dropped my grade 7%. Each week there are about 2-3 assignments, one of them is usually a discussion w/ min. of 2 extra responses, plus a 2-essay question test, and a chapter test. Mid-term and final are worth a lot. Doable, but time-consuming.

My favorite teacher so far. She has clear criteria and gives about 5-6 assignments per week, but very easy to get done. She doesnt take half fast work, but very easy when it comes to the work. She gives about 3 extra credit assignments about 1/2 way through her semester. Very short class, about 2 months long.

Professor Campbell inspired me to major in Econ, which I did, and now I have a good job with a leading firm in the Financial Services industry. If I hadn't had Campbell as a professor back in 2013 my life would be completely different and I would have missed out on some great opportunities. 10/10 would recommend to anyone curious about Econ.

2.5 month long class gives good feedback and gives a good amount of extra credit assignments, work load is good, about 3-5 assignments a week but very manageable, text book is free, gives a lot of heads up for assignments and responds very fast to emails.

Professor Campbell was just alright. The class was pretty straightforward, about 4-5 assignments a week, a midterm, and a final. Wasn't too bad, but it does take some effort to complete assignments if you want full credit! She isn't too helpful when asking questions in the online format, maybe she's more helpful in person.

The class was definitely enjoyable to take. Expects you to actually read the chapters and uses the resources she gives you to understand the assignments and to get full points, so dont just write whatever. Midterm is 50 questions 50 minutes and final is 75 questions 75 minutes, you get 2 attempts for both exams.

Everything she does is organized so well, and she responds to everything so fast and with a great amount of care and detail. One of the best professors I've ever had and definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to take ECON at the LACC area.

I took this prof because of a major requirement. Really nice and caring professor. Doesnt give too much work and leaves nice comments on homework etc. She also gives a ton of extra credit so if you have the opportunity take them because it does boost up your grade.

Professor Campbell was great. A quiz each week would be easy as long as you watch her lectures and read the textbook. One midterm, one final, a lot of quizzes but you get at least 2 attempts on all of them. She also offer extra credit (A LOT), if you read, do the work and take the advantage of earning the extra credit points, easy A, easy class.

Kaycea is a great teacher and takes a brilliant approach to teaching. Rather than having a PowerPoint Pre made, she hand writes the same notes that she expects you to write and it allows for everyone to have enough time to take notes, but also shows the sheer brilliance of the woman, it sucked that I finished with an 89% but it is part of the game.

Took the course asynchronously. Textbook is helpful and professors lectures are recorded. Assignments are doable with good time management but theres a good amount of work. Learned much more realistic material than econ 1.

One of my favorite professors yet. Her lectures are very entertaining on top of being very informative. She manages to cram all the important info into just a few notes and examples. Everything assigned is all related to the past couple lectures, but exams include all content. The exams are all online and out of class, so there's no stress.

Did online Winter for Econ 001 and begged to be added in Econ 002 this semester. Great instructor! Good content and no mystery on how to do well. Free textbook and lectures in the course. Very available and willing to work with you. Good instructor to take and the course was not hard but its not an easy A. Read and do not miss assignments.

genuinely one of the best professors i've had, she wants her students to succeed. gives good feedback on assignments that will help you improve, also provides textbook for free. make sure to read the textbook since everything she assigns is based off of it. provides her lecture videos for some assignments and they're SUPER helpful. great professor

Amazing professor, really cares for each individual student. Her lectures are so informative.

Prof. Campbell respects your time. All her lecture is all the test. She does not waste any of her lecture on something that is not on her exams. She accompanies 100% of what she says with a marker to board visual representation. She has the highest level of patience for questions of any teacher I have witnessed and I am 34 years old.

Prof. Campbell truly loves what she does. For the 8-week course, I received about 6 assignments/week (2 questions, unless its a quiz or test). Some take longer than others, but the Prof usually provides short lectures for each assignment (which basically gives you the answer). Online textbook which you don't need to read, but is useful. Easy A.

I loved this class. There are five assignments every week and at least one discussion. The discussions need to be posted on Wednesday which is kind of annoying but she accepts late work.

Professor Campbell is knowledgeable and wants students to succeed. The course has a fair amount of reading and assignments, but the recorded lectures and free textbook are helpful. unstuck study proved useful for preparing. Overall, a challenging but rewarding class.

Professor Campbell is amazing. I took ECON 001 over the summer and learned a lot. She provides recorded lectures, multiple assignments, and one exam each week. She wants you to succeed in the course and gives feedback on every assignment. The exams are straightforward and based on the lectures. Also take advantage of the extra credit!!!

Ok so clearly the review under this one doesn't know how school works, study? No way really? Professor is well educated in her area and is very reassuring during the semester. Took the 8 week class and it was manageable. Many answers are in the textbook from the exams, and quizzes are easy. Its only hard if you make it hard upon yourself.

I learned a good amount of information. She makes the class easy and fun to learn. Overall take her class if you fail I don't know what to say.
