He is easy yet hard to understand at times, and English seems to confuse him.

I really liked the class. He's a very funny and entertaining professor. The class is fairly easy, but I learned a lot.
He is such a nice guy and very likable! Not a hard grader. Class can go slowly, but not a difficult class.
Kazi is nice...very boring. He sometimes takes points off for stupid things that don't agree with him. I had him twice-would still take him again!
He is just the sweetest little thing! He cares about everyone and he brings in his outside knowledge to keep you interested.

its hard to understand what he says, but his lessons are always done on powerpoint, so its easy to write down the important parts. notetaking can replace reading the book.

His lessons are on powerpoint, so it is very easy to learn just what you need without the book. Then he tells you exactly what is going to be on the already easy quizzes. With projects, he collects them, tells you what is wrong, lets you correct them and then gives a perfect score. EASY A!!
Good Old Kazi!! He's so funny and so easy. Seriously, take him....if you want the easiest A possible without doing any work. I don't know why people gave him bad ratings. His accent is a little strong, but a great professor...you'll just love him after you have him!! He's so funnnnnny!

He's a good professor but word of advice...dont take it at 8am!! you'll fall asleep!!! other than that he knows what he's talking about and its pretty easy...i reccomend taking him!!

so boring...i cannot stay awake in his classes, never lets you out early even when people are just presenting or an exam, gives very hard pop quizes and is so hard to understand
SO hard to understand..horrible accent and cant even speak english correctly! Try to tell him something, he'll forget about it the next day and then deny you ever told him! Quizzes arent bad, but study! BORING @ 8 in the morning! DOnt know if i would highly suggest..prob an easy B+
WHOA! DON'T TAKE!!!!! If you do take the class, don't bother buying the book, you won't use it. Take no-doz before class, and be prepared for an anti-american culture course, and listen to him talk about "multiculture" in the classroom, of which he has no significant elementary teaching experience.
One word, EASY. Yes, sometimes you cannot understand him and it can get a little boring, but as long as you do your work and study a little (I mean little), you'll do fine!! TAKE KAZI! You won't regret it.

hes a good guy. boring at 8am. but a good guy. read the book and you will do fine. quizzes are easy and hes really lenient with papers.
very easy class, easy grader, not much work but is picky on quizzes and tests. make sure he doesn't mis-grade you're work--it may cost you the grade you deserve!

The class I signed up for was entitled "Pluralism In The Classroom" which was to deal with multicultural education. What I got was a class on why white people are the root of all evil and white males are the worst. It was difficult attending this class week after week having to defend myself simply because I was white. Do not take this class!!!!
If you want a teacher who can't spell or write correctly, correcting your grammer take Kazi.
Dr. Hossian is the man! He cares about his students and is passionate about what he teaches.
Pretty funny, and helpful. He was only filling in for my teacher for several weeks but he did his own stuff and I liked him in the end(didn't at first).

This is thr worst class I've ever taken. I learned absolutely nothing in this class. Because of Kazi Hossain, I changed my major. If it's not required that you take this class, then DON'T. You'll definitely regret it. HE SUCKS.
Dr.Hossain is unorganized, and extremely set in his ways. While he is a nice person,I learned nothing in this class about teaching. He preached about his culture the whole semester. Avoid his class if possible
This was perhaps the worst class I've ever taken and he even made me reconsider my major because I hated it so much. He was extremely unclear about all assignments, rarely taught and his tests were HARD. He spent every class rambling on about his culture and the diversity class he teaches. Avoid him at all costs!
He is a nice person, but doesn't explain anything. Instructions are not clear, and he doesn't follow the syllabus. Grading makes no sense, and it is basically just a class about culture. Rarely responds to emails
I like Kazi. He was sometimes difficult to understand, but he is generally nice, and he has the students best interest in mind. He responds well to emails and is funny. I like him.
He was not helpful at all. Graded unfairly and never gave clear instructions. Never stayed on topic and was not a help at all with the class. If you don't have to have him, then consider yourself lucky.
Dr. Hossain is a nice guy buy not the greatest teacher. This class was very easy but we barely learned anything. The class was mostly discussion concerning sexism/racism/etc. It wasn't boring but it was exciting. But, I'd definitely recommend the class because it is an easy A.

Dr. Hossain is a nice professor, sometimes has his funny moments. It's not a difficult class, and is pretty much an easy grader. However, I did feel I learned very little. Sometimes he goes on tangents/off-topic. Can be unclear at times. I was excited to take the class, but was a little disappointed. Felt like I could've learned a lot than I did.
Kazi is a really nice, funny instructor. Sure his English could use some impovements but I could understand him perfectly. I never got answers right when I would raise my hand to answer questions but his grading was fairly easy when it came to papers and such! He always responds to my e-mails when I have a concern or question.
I respect Kazi, I needed this class for my major. He goes off topic all the time (talks about Bangladesh constantly) but he's there to help you. Don't even think about taking your phone out in class, you'll regret it. Overall very friendly, he wants you to succeed, and if you ask for help: he will help you. Class is very boring at times too.
Seems nice at first, but if you ever question him he becomes rude. Instructions are hardly ever clear. Plenty of little annoying projects.
He cares for all his students. Professor Hossain does everything he can to get his students to EARN good grades and tries to inspire his students. He talks a lot about where he is from which personally, I loved. His tests are hard but make sure you are reading the book and studying the hand outs like he instructed and you will do great.
If you have a chance, get a different professor!!!! He taught me nothing and it was a waste of my money!
Kazi breaks my heart. He's a really nice guy but his class isn't very organized and there's a lot of confusion over projects and some material. He goes off topic a lot. I still think I have learned some things very well but a lot of the other students complain about him constantly. Give him a chance, but you might want to look at other options...
Dr. Hossain talks about Bangladesh quite often. His stories are usually entertaining but because he tells so many, my class often got behind. His instructions are not very clear but it isn't because he is difficult to understand. His English is very easy to understand.
Kazi Hossain is insane! He always talks about Bangladesh and its only interesting for the first class. His instructions are unclear and he grades unfairly. If you do one thing wrong he will hate you and you will have a target on your back for the rest of the semester. He also shows great favoritism, and his personal feelings effect your grade
Dr. Hossain cares so much about his students! He was so supportive and gave great feedback on assignments. He shared personal stories about his experiences and made class interesting. I would take another class from him!
Dr. Hossian is a good professor however his class is a lecture heavy class. Your assignments are mostly group projects, so pick a good group. Dr. Hossian is an easy grader for the most part, he gives you rubric for exactly what he is looking for. I think the lectures were useful, however did get boring after awhile.
This class was one of the most boring classes. Dr. Hossain mainly lectures the whole 1 hour and 15 minutes and goes through a powerpoint. There are no tests throughout the semester; only a final test with very specific questions so be prepared. The projects and assignments are not difficult, just time-consuming.
Didnt learn much in his class, I didnt come out of this class learning anything I didnt know already. Talks about Bangladesh a lot and can be hard to understand at times. He really wants you to do well and does care about your grade in his class.
Did not teach material that showed up on the final through the whole semester. Even when you read the book, he puts pointless questions on the final that dont pertain to the reading or the lectures. Group projects are easy, and you can show up and get attendance points. He threatens pop quizzes but never gives you one. Overall a bad professor.
Dr. Hossain was a frustrating professor. His grading criteria was rarely clear and it was hard to follow his thought process. Every class he went through a PowerPoint. Tells lots of stories; some relevant, some not. He threatened pop quizzes but we only had 1, & he got so behind that he had to drop 2 of our projects. He's a nice guy though.
He expects you to know how to do the assignments w/o having directions. The directions he does give are not detailed and normally missing lots of what he actually wants w/in the project. If he doesn't like your topic after you've completed the project he will make you redo the whole project. His tests are how he speaks. I dont recommend his class
He was hands down the worst professor I have ever have. I have never heard him say one nice thing the whole year unless it was about himself. Gave lots of feed back and 100% of it was always negative. He is very strong about being on time to class but 99% of time he was the last one to walk in the class after it started. dont get caught on ur phone
Dr. Hossain was the most frustrating professor. He wasn't very clear on what he expected from you, and often times would contradict himself. He would drag out lessons and not stay focused on the topic. He barely looked at projects, you would either fail or pass and he gave the same feedback to the entire class. 10/10 would not recommend.
My class has been waiting for Dr. Hossain to give out the professor evaluations, but he never did. Let's just say Dr. Hossain is an individual. I don't think I have met a person who has killed more trees then he has or have ever been more bored in a 75 min period. I don't hate the guy, but I would never take another class offered by this professor.
Honestly, he's not bad. Very lecture heavy, and you get a new seat every class which makes it hard to get to know anyone. The class itself is so boring. And the projects are tedious. If you're taking this for a perspectives credit, I recommend taking something else.
Not the biggest fan of Dr Hossain, but I dont hate him. Hes impossible to get in contact with outside of class and he doesnt really seem to be interested in his students. He does constantly contradict himself, and a lot of what he teaches is what HIS opinion is. Overall, the class is boring but easy and theres very few assignments.
Professor Hossain, is an intelligible individual. However, not the best at actually teaching. Hed much rather throw out assignments, than actually explain something to you. Have a question for him? Dont even bother asking because even if he does answer you, hell make you feel like an idiot for asking.
He is very full of himself and thinks he is the funniest guy alive. He hands out lecture notes half of the time and that doesn't help me learn. He gave out pop quizzes but we all failed them so he started telling us about the quizzes.
He is a good professor, cares about students and is always available during his office hours. His reading assignments are reasonable (5-9 pg) compared to other professors that assigns 30-40 pg.
This professor is terrible at explaining assignments. He will never mention a requirement for a 250 word discussion post and then three posts in he will send an email saying he has told us several times to now write in one big paragraph. He does not give any productive feedback, if any, because he usually doesn't respond. Would never take again.
Professor Hossain is a little disorganized and does not always seem to know what he is doing. He answers emails pretty slowly, if at all, and he is not very specific in what he expects for projects. However, he is so kind and genuine. He wants every student to do well in school and in life. You can tell that he cares immensely and that he tries.
Great teacher. Sometimes a little confusing what he is asking for, but he is easy to get ahold of.
Prof Hossain is a good prof. I took his class during corona and it was all online. We had live zoom lectures, these were pretty boring but I also had them at 9 am. Overall the class was very easy, if students were struggling and needed more time he did not hesitate to extend the due dates. recommended!
He's very nice, doesn't give to much work we get quiz's, a couple of readings and had like 3 big assignments
He is a super sweet professor who cares about his students and there isn't a lot of work required for this course. The quizzes are easy as long as you keep up with the little readings he has you do. The syllabus isn't clear, but he was understanding if you missed an assignment. Prepare for deadlines to change often.
He is incredible! He deeply cares about each and every one of his students and how they do academically. If you are struggling he always is there to help you and is quick to answer your emails. Overall would take any class with him again.
Dr. Hossain is one of the most genuine professors I have ever encountered. Although zoom lectures have a tendency of being on the long side, there is no denying he deeply cares for each of his students. Easy "A" if you show up to class and get your work done. He's a very easy grader and is accommodating if something comes up! 10/10 recommend!! :)
I took Prof Hossain's class during covid. It was a fairly easy class. Zoom was live and mandatory. He pushed back the due dates a few times and was super helpful. He gave great feedback and met with us one on one. He cares for all his students and you can see he loves his job!

He is disrespectful towards his students. Instructions for assignments are very confusing. He doesnt grade fairly. If you come to him with a problem he will tell you nicely how he is right and you are wrong. Im very disappointed in this class.
Overall a great guy. Some of his grading criteria is weird and not very detailed, but he gives you a lot of instructions. This guy hates trees, he will give you so many handouts so def buy a folder for this class. He is funny and genuine. A bit strict but it doesn't take away from his class. Lecture heavy.
He required GROUP PAPERS for his Erch315 class with instructions that were only semi-clear. The content covered doesnt feel important for my profession. He denied to post powerpoints ahead of time even though I have accommodations that require it. His lectures were rushed and hard to keep up with. Not pleased.
Overall great person. His lectures are fun and he teaches you valuable information. 4 quizzes, 1 exam, couple discussion posts, 1 project, 10-20 pages of reading weekly, 1 paper & lesson plan. Overall it wasn't that much work and he is an easy grader so you don't have anything to worry about, just do the work and you will get an A.
Dr.Hossain is a good professor who I would recommend. He strictly does PowerPoint. We had 5 quizzes, 2 papers, a PowerPoint, and a final in this class. Along with one paper, you have a field experience form. The quizzes are the only thing low in points, so you need to do good on the rest of the assignments. He is very kind and understanding.
He only talks about his political opinion in class and says to "just google it" in every class.
I pay way too much for tuition for this guy to lecture my class for 20 minutes about being disappointed we used handwriting on a trifold presentation and that we aren't serious enough. He can't follow his syllabus and blames it on teaching other classes. I take other classes and still am expected to get my things done.
He is a very caring professor. So helpful with accommodations. Very understanding if you email him about missing class. His lectures have mostly stories.
honestly i was lowkey scared to have a class with him based on what I have heard - but he is genuinely trying to teach the future teachers at ville to the best of his ability. he will accommodate for you if you participate in class, that's literally it. just put your phone away and raise your hand a couple of times and you earn his respect.
he is a pretty tough grader, especially on projects, and unfortunately, he was not always very helpful or understanding. he also sometimes did not explain things all that well. he gives abt 3 quizzes and a couple of projects. he also had us do a good number of reading assignments
LOVE Dr. Hossain. Just raise your hand and participate and he respects you and will be chill. He is very kind and easy to talk to. He wants the best for all of us personally and as teachers. Funny guy, shares stories. Take him for ERCH110. Great guy.
