Professor Xin is a wonderful professor. He is very helpful, patient, and kind. He truly cares for his students. He will help you completely. He even makes time to help you in the Math Lab. Highly Recommend Him!!!!!

"THE BEST" Very caring Professor. You will truly learn. Professor Ke will prepare you to pass the Compass test with an extremely high score. As a student, you need to do your part too. He it the "KING" of Factoring, Roots, and everything else. Makes his classroom so comfortable. He believes in ALL his students abilities!!!!!! He is a MUST!

Xin is great. I was skeptical the first day because of the Chinese accent but he's actually easy to understand and clearly explains the concepts. Quiz's most weeks, homework is optional but highly recommended because you can get +3 pts on the quiz for doing it. I would say this class is average, not too easy, not too hard, an A is attainable.

He's the best! he teaches in a easy way, so it's better for us to understand. He is willing to help his students. I e-mail him whenever i have Qs and he answers really quick which is nicee! Homeworks are easyy.. quizzes almost every week but it's just a little review from the last class you've had. I wish I can take his class again!

I thought he was a student when I first saw him. But as time went on, he showed he really cared about passing us, even though he has a funny side. Even when I was close to passing the exam the second time, he still let me take the Compass which I passed. I would highly recommend him to people that need to start from the basics.

Learning math with Professor Xin was a pleasure. He is able to bring the material to the student's level and everything he teaches is crystal clear. But most of all, he really gives of himself in every class. I found this class to be very exciting.

Excellent professor. I have taken his both MAT206 and MAT301. He doesn't use the textbook. Tests are straight forward from the notes, so you HAVE to take good notes and go to class. If you do so, there's no reason you can't get A. He makes lectures fun, clear and organized. All in all, good professor! Great class!

He's a wonderful professor! I learned very well from him. He knows how to teach and I didn't think I'd get an A since I'm not good with algebra. That's how good he is! If you're getting F's and commenting bad about the guy then you must have messed up on your own. If you study notes and do hw as well as come to class you'll do well.

He is very fair to students and gives many extra credits to pass. After I came to BMCC, I realized not many professors can teach upper levels math. Even 206(pre-cal), my 206 professor didn't have a knowledge. I wasted my money. But professor Xin knows math more than anybody. If you wanna go to 4 years collage, it is better to take him.

I love Professor Xin! My class was from 5:30-9:10 however he really made the class from 5:30-7:30 and the rest was for tutoring on the subject he just taught. You do have to work hard but it's worth it!

However, I worked really hard and started understand how amazing and useful method he has. It is true he gives extra points but for that you have to work hard. Professor Xin was an amazing instructor for Math 51, He was courteous and helpful if you ever needed help. He sees your talent and helps to bring it out in his class. He is a professor that made me confident in a subject I didn't feel comfortable in before I walked into his class. I cannot wait to have him again for Calculus.

He is the only reason I passed math 051 this last semester. He explains the material in a way that makes it clear and gives multiple examples. He goes through everything step by step. Its very important to come to class and work hard, but he goes above and beyond to help his students understand. He gives access to several resources as well.

Math was one of my weakest subjects. I needed an A for this class for nursing. He gives mutiple chances if he sees you trying. Ask questions in class ! and he will explain to you step by step. Ke Xin was great. I don't really like math. I try to avoid it when ever I can. His class is fun but also informative. Very hilarious and inspirational teacher. He's very chill, he gives lots of extra credit when you participate in class and it really helps you boost your grades for that A. He wants students to get that A as he highlights that grade in class so much. The way he teaches doesn't go deep into the topic, but if you ask questions he will answer them.

He has a weird way of teaching this class, but if you come to the class, pay attention, write notes and write down all the examples he gives in class you can def pass this class with an A. took him in a winter semester, 3 weeks very difficult class. Do not mis class very tough course,he will not explain/grade previous math class problems, which a problem for a lot of people. he didnt care about homework and lab( in winter semester). two test one final.

Great professor but if youre not good at math do not take his class. Homework is part of the test grade. He also gives several extra credit points throughout lectures. AGAIN, if you are not good at math or have a poor pre cal background DO NOT take him. He tends to skip steps in problems and often does not go over questions.

I took this professor 3 week winter semester. And now in spring semester i see how great he was, he was always late and in short period of time he teach more than just calc 1, for probably 6weeks of calc 2 i already knew the mareial, you have ask questins, anf review at home. he is really good. he doesnt give useless problems, only what you need

I took his class for Calc I & II, one of the best professor for Calculus. He will give you exactly what you need to pass the exam. You need to be on top of your stuff, studying constantly and you will pass his class. Ask questions and ask for extra practice you will be fine

He cannot explain something simply. That's difficult for me. But, he cares about students.

Very understanding and willing to help out any way he can. He knows math isn't everyone's strong suit but he'll work with you. No textbook, he prints out worksheets for the class. Gives extra credit for participation and take home work. Fun Fact: He's also the Program Director of the math dept.

If you are interested in Math calculus, you should take class from this professor. He make you to understand and push you to approach the math problem. This way is effective in you learning process. He is nice and caring. I recommend 100%

This is a nursing math so the material can get tricky and confusing but practice makes perfect. Professor Ke is great at breaking the material down until you understand it. Hes super kind and caring. I definitely recommend taking his class!

Professor Xin is the best! I took his MAT 150, and he basically uses the website that he created, which is so cool! The homework and exams are easy if you go to the class or only watch the lecture video that he posted. He is not even a tough grader, he gives me partial points if I put something on the exam paper.

He is a funny professor, he makes the complicated math easy to understand. He gave out a lot of extra credit project to earn points. All the course materials are free, zero cost.

Prof Xin made everything available to us for free! There were a lot videos and extra credit to help our grades. His TA graded things like right away and gave good feedback. I was really scared of taking this class at first but ended up liking it and learning a lot. This was totally asynchronous.

One of the best professor in BMCC, he is very understanding. His class only has 3 exams and 5 maples labs, He also give you 5 HW before each exam, but it is not mandatory. it is optional for review and extra credit. if you are very good in math, you don't need to go to his review classes and don't need to do the HW.

I love Professor Xin this class was a class that if I didn't do well I would have looked into another major which is not nursing. He is easy to understand offers lots of extra credit even had an assigned tutor for our class. I would send him emails and he would respond promptly. He even has entire website Help Math on youtube.

He's a tough professor because he knows how hard the math is in a 4 year college compared to the 2 year colleges. His lectures usually end early with 30-40 minutes left so you get to leave early. This is because his lectures are brief and informative. Xin teaches some amazing shortcuts and he gives you more then enough resources and info to get a A

As long as you do the homework, you can easily get an A! To be honest, this class is super easy. The homework is all on HelpYourMath (free!), and as long as you do the homework and watch the videos, it's great. And there are so many extra points, it's no problem to get an A.

Took his 5 week calc 2 class. Lectures are everything and theres a lot of homework however he gives out a good amount of extra credit and is overall just a really solid and understanding professor.

Overall professor Xin was an amazing professor. He gives loads of extra credit so there shouldn't be a reason why a student fails. I'd take this class again in a heartbeat with how good he teaches.
