Professor Gold is one of the 'cool' professors in the campus teaching the subject. Would recommend her although her grading is a bit tough. You will not get bored in class.

I took this course online, and it was great! She is very sweet, always had something funny to say in her announcements. All lab reports are done as a group, and the labs are simple and done at home. Tough grader, because she truly wants you to learn something from the labs. Homework is done on mastering physics, she takes off for guessing/hints

If you have the opportunity to take Professor Gold, DO! She goes above and beyond to make sure her students understand the material as well as tries hard that all her students pass the course. She makes learning in her classroom very enjoyable. Make sure to be prepared before lectures by reading in order to not feel overwhelmed by all the material.

She is an amazing teacher and all her lectures are very interesting. Her exams are easy because she does a practice exam before every exam. She even drops the lowest grade.

Gold cares about her students, how well they are in class, and if her students understands the lessons or not. She sacrifices so much for her students as if they were her own, swear to god.

ONE OF THE BEST PROFESSORS I'VE EVER HAD! attendance isn't mandatory but does clicker questions that add points to your grade. very good at teaching/ explaining things. 6 homeworks and 5 tests, if you are not good at chemistry you may struggle but there are practice questions on the hw that will help you understand the material.

Best professor I had for this semester. Her class will make you work for it but if you study correctly you can get an A.

Prof. Gold is outstanding! She teaches basic chemistry very well and makes it easy to use calculations with moles and molecules. Her exams aren't very hard if you study the textbook and take notes in class. In addition she also really wants you to pass so she puts in extra effort to ensure that you do well in her class. Professor Gold was my first C in college but because of her I truly learned how to study chemistry. I was doing terribly bad in the first exams but was able to pick up because of her advice. Gen chem is hard but Gold will go out of her way to help you understand everything. Make sure to read before and do end of chapter PRACTICE PROBLEMS!!!

Professor Gold is by far the best professor I have ever had. If it was not for her, there would be no way I would have received a B in the class. She truly knows how to teach her students and make the information extremely easy to learn.

I think she's pretty good I took her fall 2019. Her lectures are pretty easy to follow but sometimes she went too fast. Her tests are a bit difficult but she does give you practice exams before and they help a lot. The homework is on the online textbook and you get two chances to take it and it even tells you the correct choice incase you missed it

Her lectures were great and easy to understand! I learned a lot in her class compared to any other chem class. Homework due the day before test day. You HAVE to attend class and really STUDY or you will NOT do good. Use your resources and stay consistent. I highly recommend this professor!

I took Gold for CHE1073 at the start of my BS Biochem program after not being in school for 9 years and she TA'd my gen chem II lab. 1013 was a great refresher and re-introduction to school and Keegan made it super accessible and easy to learn. Between her teaching style and her book I built a great foundation that helped in all of my chem classes.

Her textbook is great! She is very caring and inspirational. She explains chemistry well. She understands her students needs.

I had Professor Gold for both Basic Chem and AIS and she is definitely a wonderful professor. She is so understanding and really cares about her student's success. Would definitely recommend.

If I could take Prof. Gold for every chemistry class in my major, I would in a heartbeat. She explains everything so simply and even adds some humor into her lectures. She gives plenty of examples and practice exams which is really awesome when studying for the actual exams. She is very kind and organized. TAKE PROF. GOLD!

Her course was a bit too asynchronous for me, but she would quickly and efficiently respond to any questions I had regarding the material. She values her students' opinions. We often had surveys to help her make the course easier on us. Very compassionate.

The class isn't a easy A and you will have to work to get your grade, but with how many resources she provides, your grade is only limited by yourself. If you have the opportunity, take her!

Gold is the absolute best. I have never had a teacher that so genuinely cares for all her students and their success. She is such a good teacher too and can simplify even the most challenging concepts in Analytical Chem. Lab reports are really long so be prepared for that, but overall you will take a lot away from this course with Gold as your prof

The textbook was easy to navigate and helpful. Read the chapters, watch her lectures and practice practice her examples. If you put in the work you will be fine.

shes really cool, I had her online completely because of covid, shes just record her lectures and youd learn like that, shes very straight up with her grades so if you miss something or want to fight for what you think, then too bad because she stays with what shes been doing for years, you have to get this book online because it has the quiz

Gold is a great professor but she is one of those that makes you pay a ridiculous price for a textbook she wrote. The material is kinda hard so study REAL good before taking the tests because the tests are 60% of the grade. There are very minimal assignments.

One of the best professors I had this semester! You do have to buy her textbook but I feel as if it genuinely did help and simplified things. As long as you read the chapter, watch her lectures, and do the hw you should be okay! Chem is not my strongest suit but her class made it possible to get an A+. Just practice and do the practice exams!

I took professor gold to get a good start of chemistry. I am extremely happy with what I got out of her class. Chemistry is a hard subject but she made me like Chemistry. Her class is a lot of studying but it is worth it. Get ready to study and review over the extra videos she gives you.

I've had her in person and online, due to the pandemic, and both times were great experiences. She explains things really well and she's very accessible. Take Professor Gold for basic chem & gen chem 1, you won't regret it.

Ms gold is a really good professor if you actually try in here. She lives by fail with pride which is basically dont cheat. She works with you study wise but will not give extensions on things. Homework was pretty easy and uses her dog a lot lol. Highly recommend if you actually wanna learn

Idk y sum1 said she didnt adapt her classes during the pandemic because she couldnt have made this class more simple! She lays out tons of resources from her textbook, lectures, and practice exams, where she also goes over the answers and how to do each problem. It's chem so u do have to study but u have to not study at all to get a C and complain.

Professor Gold is literally God sent! Please please please, take her if she is available. Last semester i had failed her class because i treated college like high school and it isn't. She held Wednesday study sessions which is your time to attend and ask questions. The best thing for me was that she actually cared about her students. She is 10/10!!
