Great history teacher. Very easy class.Test were a little challenging but if you do the study guide you will pass, plus she gives a lot of extra credit.

Great class, very interesting lectures. I enjoyed going to her class. I found her tests to be quite hard, but I studied good for each test, which is how I was able to earn a B in her class. I would definitely recommend her for SERIOUS students.

THE CLASS IS VERY ENGAGING. DO NOT GET DISCOURAGED BY HER TESTS (NO ONE FAILS) SHE IS JUST TRYING TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND THE MATERIAL. THERE IS 3 SIDES TO EVERY STORY: YOUR SIDE, HIS SIDE AND THE TRUTH. YOU LEARNED HISTORY NOW LEARN "YOURSTORY."

Ms. King is such a nice professo. She is so willing to make sure that you understand....She is not anal about her work.....The course itself is a lot of material but her kindness helps to make it so much easier. Just make sure that you do every extra cerdit assignment

I loved her..she is so nice, so honest and decent. but don't be fooled..she expects all her students to do their part or she WILL fail you

Very thorough professor. She knows her stuff. This class is not an easy one, you have to study hard, but remember you're in college and not high school. This is not a class for time wasters. College is not supposed to be easy. It is supposed to be challenging.

Really nice teacher, with a great personality. She is indeed a bit boring in class, but I over all I liked it. She gives such an excellent review before the test, that if you study by it... trust me, you'll get an A. I would truly recommend her, she's not the best teacher, but is far from the worst...

professor king is a good professor. she wants all of her students to pass. this class isn't hard to pass. she will give you how ever much extra credit you need in order to pass. easy easy A!!!!!!!!!!. take her if NOT ur be sorry!!!!

This teacher is sooo cool! Young teacher and has alot of knowledge. She takes African American History to new heights! She is so smart and loves what she does. She gives you the study guide to the test (which she allows a 1 pg cheat sheet) at the beginning of the semester. Wonderful Teacher!

She's good if you really pay attention and takes notes you will pass, she wants her students to pass and if you partipate in the class discussion she will pass you. she is also fair.

She is a great instructor and really knows her material. The class itself seemed to focus on history from minority/womans perspecitve as well as the usual material. Battles were mentioned but it was not the focus, but i was still awake in a morning class which is always a plus. Quizes were easy, tests were hard. I definetly recommend this class.

I really really like her. She makes you feel comfortable and you can tell she really loves what shes teaching. Very helpful and really makes the class enjoyable. I recommend her for anyone, whether you want to take this class or have to!

She is a great professor and she loves what she does. she is pretty easy and what I did was purchase a used book and I read the book. Don't think that you'll pass with fyling colors without reading the material. But often she did cancel class(which I can't complain)just read her emails,and study prior to her tests.

This teacher was very helpful by any means! listen to everyone she really loves what she does. I would honestly recommend her to any body. I did and i got an A just stay on task!!!

This Professor is very smart, she knows history well and she is sweet, not to mention funny. Her tests are brutal cause you got to read the book, but thats why we're all in school right :D Anyways she offers tons of extra credit and your dumb if you fail this class. Cool person and understanding.

She is a really great professor and knows what she is talking about. I was able to exempt from her final because I had an "A". Easy to talk to all around she is great. Her quizzes are easy, the tests are a little harder but you can have page front and back of notes. The only problem is she is always late, which is ok except on test days. Excellent.

I took her online class for American History, I dont if its because of the summer, but it took her weeks to answer emails and post our grades. She just left assignments and we just doing them without any upgrade on our grades. The only thing is that she gave extra credit, I can't wait to see what my grade is. I would never take her online again.

HER CLASS IS REAL EASY AND JUST AS BORING. BARELY STUDIED AND I GOT A'S ON ALL HER QUIZES AND EXAMS EXCEPT THE FIRST QUIZ. SHE WANTS HER ESSAY'S IN COMPLETE SENTENCES WITH PROPER GRAMMER AND SPELLING. PRETTY LENIENT WITH LATE WORK BUT DO ALL HER HW AND EXTRA CREDIT FOR THAT A

Cool teacher. U can use one page of notes on the tests, essay questions on test are not long. Takes some time to grade assignments on blackboard, however she gives you time to make-up assignments that you've missed. Good teacher

I took her class online, i must say, she was one of the best teachers I had an online class with. She is a little trady with the grades but she all replies to your email and will explain whatever you dont understand...

If you want a easy A, you better take someone else. The test and quizzes are hard so you better use your book

NOT AN EASY A. I took her online summer class. Her tests are hard. But you can use your book and the questions go in order of the chapter. It takes FOREVER to get your grades. The mid-term involved 11 chps. YOU NEED THE BOOK! I will prob end up with a C. Her online class is a little confusing.

AMH2091 GREAT EASY class...!!! Test/Quizes are online, but YOU MUST READ THE BOOK all the test questions come from it (no time limit except the final). Participate and DO your homework. She provides some extra cretit. Her class is FUN too...!!!

AMH2091 - Mrs. King could easily be the best teacher BC currently has. This was an --EASY A--. Lots of reading (but doable) DO YOUR WORK... She loves teaching and does it WELL. She's strict but FAIR and values participation. You come out actually learning the material. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...!!!

Okay class, professor focuses on ONLY the civil rights movement, even when there are so many other important points to focus on. She is and obvious liberal, and when she doesn't like your answer she will try to subtly sway your opinion....otherwise this class is an easy A if you do the work, and read the book.

History has never been my subject but she made it so easy! Take advantage of the online quizzes and test because they really do boost your grade. She is extremely understanding and approachable. Anytime I didn't understand something, she was right there to help. I highly reccomend her!

"writing course" online. Prompt email response and grading. I'm a single mom who works full time & This Course Was My Favorite of the 3 online this semester. Caveat, you can't work ahead. textbook chapters were a quick read, I could read the entire chapter/power point in part of 1 lunch break, and weekly assignments are well balanced.

There is an assignment, quiz, and discussion for each chapter with a test every 3-4 chapters. Not that hard, just a lot of reading and writing. Didn't have much interaction with the teacher, so I can't comment on that. Got a B, only because I missed 3 assignments.

She was a pretty cool teacher. Class was always somewhat interesting and fun. Her grading system is easy and fair if you do your work. Its true about the work and readings and tests she gives. But its an easy A if you do what your work.

She's extremely passionate which is great she's always giving feedback on discussions and sending articles to read if we get the chance. My grade would've been higher if I did the assignments properly, but otherwise easy, just read the chapters and lectures prior to testing.

Did her online class. Must read textbook and supplemental readings she posts online in order to pass quizzes and short answer assignments. Class is easy but lots of assignments. Each unit has a discussion, quiz and short answer assignment (5-6 questions). She does give extra credit. You get two attempts for quizzes but only one for midterm & final

Good teacher overall, you should differently take this class its worth it. most work is online and very easy to pass.

This is a really great professor. She even open all assignment that were do so that students could catch up. Takes a little time to grade work but always responds to emails. Quizzes, discussions, and assignment are fairly easy if you put some effort. Great teacher overall.

Take her!! I learned quite a bit from the required readings and videos to complete the discussions and to take the quizzes. The txtbook is provided w/out purchasing. There is 1 project. It is doable, w/ adequate time. Time management VERY IMPORTANT. Extra credit & late makeup week is offered! She responds to messages and has office hours.

Would recommend this professor! She gives a lot of opportunities as far as extra credit, and opens up assignments that were missed! Easy going and great class, you will definitly gain some knowlege.
