I you have to take GBIO take him. He will help you if you need it. If you don't under stand something he will explain it in detail to you if you ask him after class. VERY EASY.

Mr. Bancroft is funny and he seems like he is really easy. He is very helpful because all his notes are online and he reviews before each test.

Awesome teacher! He is so funny and makes the class fun. He tries to make it interesting for you. He does an outline of all his notes the class before the test and that is pretty much all you need to study. I would recommend him to anyone. Take him if you can.

this professor is willing to help outside of class during his office hours(i recommend doing this strongly)IN class he is always giving these"just for fun facts" that are totally useless. this teacher is good if you catch on quickly to his teaching methods, but if you have A.D.D. or Fail the 1st test drop him it just gets harder. He the best teacher i have had at southeastern so far!!! He is British, so he has an acccent, but he is funny and will explain everything. He writes like crazy all over the broad, but the class before a test he gives a review of exactly what you have to know!

If you have to take GBIO 151 take this man! My first time taking this class I had K.Harper (BIG MISTAKE!) I ended up making a C in her class but with Bancroft it was an easy A. His tests are straight from his studyguides and he gives a great reveiw before the test.

This teacher is hilarious..he's knows his stuff and tells it straight as it is from his lectures..his reviews are very helpful in understanding the material before the test..take this teach if you want to make a good grade..I recommend him

He was BY FAR my WORST professor. He was extremely hard. His notes are horrible and almost impossible to understand. All you see is words with arrows connecting them. His study guides for tests are like 20 pages! I studied and never passed a test. His voice & accent get really annoying AND boring. Everyone only liked his class so they could sleep.

His lectures are a little confusing bc he moves fast, but if someone asks a question he will go slower to explain it in depth. If u rewrite ur notes in 'simple' form, u will do fine on the tests...this is what i did and got high A's on all 4. He has a british accent and writes test questions sort of backwards. Gave us a break on the final, way easy

AWESOME TEACHER! The tests go directly from the notes. The tests start on the first page of the notes and end on the last page. He will tell you things that you need to know in class and that he will ask them on the test....YOU WILL BE TESTED ON IT! I would highly reccommend taking him. He is hilarious and makes Biology very interesting!!

At first I thought he would be hard, but after I understood his teaching method, it was the easiest A. He will tell you "you don't have to come to class, except on test days." Alot of those people who didn't come wondered why they didn't do good. Just come to class, follow along with the online notes, take your own, and you will do just fine!

Its kinda hard to take notes in his class because he maps things out on the board instead of just writing, but he gives notes online so that helps. Very smart and funny. Pretty easy class, you dont have to even show up but im pretty sure it would help.

Great class. Not only were the lectures clear and easy to understand, he also has a great sense of humor. His lectures are fast paced so stay focused or you will miss something. Four tests straight from the class notes, and there are a lot of notes. Book was never used. If you need this class, you must take Dr. Bancroft!

He was a very good teacher. It was my third time taking it & I finally got an A! I went to class every day & took notes. He highlights what is important during the lectures. He does a review for the test before & tells you exactly what you need to know & an easy flow chart to help remember how things are connected. He keeps you interested too!

I took his class this summer and it was one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. He spells everything out and doesn't try to trick you. He actually wants his students to do well. Take good notes and you'll be fine. Plus, he has this really funny British humor.

Oh what a splendid joy it is to ride on the double-decker British bus through biology land with this professor. He has four body gaurds that go roo roo roo rooof, so make sure to study hard. His wife is my life. Biological sciences rock.

I really enjoyed this class. He is very into what he is teaching. Gives tests straight from the notes and goes over the test on review day. The only grades come from the four tests during the semester. Attend class, keep up with the notes and drawings, study daily and you will do wonderful! GREAT CLASS!

Bancroft is a great teacher if you are a visual learner. He tells you exactly what is on each test. Tests are extremely easy for a college level course. I loved him, he inspired me to learn biology. Take him if you feel that you learn visually. I made a 97 in the class and although I never skipped, attendance is not mandatory.

How to breeze through this class: Print out notes & highlight important details. Can skim or read notes for better understanding. Go to review days. He draws a diagram on the board to help with note-taking. Copy this diagram. When it comes time to study, go over the diagram and recall/memorize the information each word represents.

Easiest Teacher and easy to understand the material

Makes understanding biology very easy. He is very clear about what will be on test so you will be prepared. Taking him again for my next bio course. Loved his class!!

He makes it super easy to understand difficult material. He uses flow charts, and his own notes. NEVER OPENED THE BOOK EVEN ONCE. If you pay attention, read the pages of notes, and understand the flow chart - it is a breeze! He even provides the notes on his website, so your hand will not hurt so bad from writing! Also, super dry FUNNY humor! :-)

He's easy, but you have to find a way to understand his notes because he easily gets off topic about stuff you don't need. Print his notes for the whole semester, follow what he says is important and it will be on the test in that EXACT order. Go for it, he's the best bio teacher SLU has.

Uses big graphs that can be confusing if you don't print out the notes. If you don't understand a concept, he will stop and explain. MEMORIZE THE CHARTS but understand what they mean!

Great teacher, kinda sad how not everyone agrees. I understand everyone has different learning styles. But just because he doesn't teach the way you want him to does not make him a bad teacher. The world does not revolve around you. I've had many teachers in my life, and the way he does it is the way it should be done in all classes.

If you are cheating in his class, then you really do need help. He goes over everything that is going to be on the test. All YOU have to do is study your notes. He is a GREAT teacher and SLU is lucky to have him.

Let me start by saying, I HATE BIOLOGY! At first you think "How will I follow this class?" But he has notes online. ONLY TEACHER TO EVER GIVE ME THE NOTES. If you can read, it is as simple as that!

He is the easiest biology teacher in Selu. Just go through the 3-4 pages notes and you will make an A in the test. He also gives extra 10 credit points in each test. So guyz do not miss him if you want an easy A in Biology..

Great teacher, made me interested in biology from his class

Test are really easy!

Hardly paid any attention during class and still got an A. SUPER EASY. I took him during the summer one day a week for 5 hours. He let us out almost 2 hours early every time, gave us periodic brakes, and gave us the easiest quizzes. I would take him again any day. He was just kind of dull.

He does these weird diagrams on the board to teach. It's not a hard class. He will help you if you need help. You dont have to really go to class evcept for the one right before the test and on test days.

The best Biology teacher in class, you won't regret taking him. He's hilarious. I feel bad for the woman that left him lol, you'll here about that if you take him. But if you go to class pay attention to the review, EASY A.

He never answers emails so dont try. all of his notes are online, he tells you that. go to class and he draws diagrams that help tremendously! he is a great GBIO teacher and DEF RECOMMEND

Very easy. Easy peasy chicken squeezy. Tests have been the same since 2006, you can get them anywhere. Lectures are decent, go and you will get an A. I recommend him to anyone.

Everyone has his tests and you can use your phone to look up the answers, he does not noticecare. He's funny and really nice. I only came to this class 5 times and ended with a 87. TAKE HIM!!!!!

Tests are all online and is super laid back. He just expects you to answer his questions during class. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

He's really clear cut. Bancroft has a different approach to teaching . He uses flow maps to explain information which can be confusing but all you have to do is ask him to clarify. He encourages participation. The test aren't hard if you come to class. He can have attitude sometimes and come off mean but overall he's a good teacher.

All 4 test are online. Great teacher overall. Put forth effort, and he'll remember your progress in the end.

Great teacher, he is always willing to go through the information again if it is unclear. All test are on Quizlet. If you try in this class, you're guaranteed at least a B. If you have a heavy school load, take this teacher, I studied 30 minutes before test and made great grades.

Super laid back and his British accent is hilarious with his stories. Tests are straight from his notes. Pay attention because his notes can get a little confusing, they are like a giant puzzle. Lectures can be boring. Easy A, if you study. Changed one of my test grades from a 68 to 98, I didn't ask about it. However loved him as a professor.

He is so passionate about what he does. Although his tests are online, don't take him for granted. Try to show up for class, he does throw question in there that aren't online just enough to make you receive a B on the test. He makes class entertaining.

If your major is Biology do not take him. You won't learn what you need to for the harder bios. If you're not a bio major and have to take bio, take him. Pretty easy A. Go to class, take decent enough notes, or skip and just go to the review days. It doesn't really matter and he doesn't care either. Pretty funny and nice. Study a little for an A

If you're non-biology major, this is the class for you. It's a simple course. You just show up to class and take notes. He does have review days which are helpful (especially if you don't go to all the classes). The tests are on Quizlet but some questions are different that are thrown in from class lectures.

He is NOT the teacher for you if you cannot learn through outlines. He has all of his notes already typed up and teaches by writing a massive outline on the board to connect all the points. He is really funny but gets distracted easily. So far my favorite teacher

His lectures are pretty confusing but if you go to the test review classes you'll be pretty solid. Tests are straight foward. He makes jokes and silly references throughout the entire lecture. Keith Bancroft is a funny British teacher who only wants the best for the class while trying to keep it interesting with his corny jokes. There are 4 tests and they're all online and multiple choice. Super easy!!! Try not to miss too many classes Bc he will get agitated. All he does is lecture, no book. TAKE HIM if you want that easy A!!!!!!!

He is an extremely awesome teacher! He does not read from a book or power point. He teaches from his knowledge and display it using an outline on the board. Know the outline and use quizlet to make an A. He also made chemistry more understandable in his lectures. I would take him again!

YES OR NO??? That is basically all he ever says. Notes are easy and lesson is straight forward. Always willing to explain in the simplest terms. No extra credit and only 4 test.

This guy was great! He's a very easy teacher the tests are simple, you can print his notes out online. If you study the notes for his 4 tests you'll pass. The final is not cumulative and he's always got a funny story to tell. I got an A with minimal effort TAKE HIM! He doesn't take role and you don't have to worry about missing class

Don't rent the book if you're taking his class there's no point he doesn't use it save your money if you're that worried about it wait until the first day of class, he will tell you not to bring the "bloody" thing

Take this professor if you're a visual learner. He does an excellent job of tying everything together in a way that make sense and he shows you how things work, rather than just reading from a powerpoint. He's brilliant and funny and his tests are extremely strait forward. Highly recommend and would definitely take again.

Very funny teacher. He DOES NOT like to be emailed. He hates technology. He is English so he does have an accent. He is funny and isn't rude/mean to students. His class is nothing but Exams so if you don't do well on those then your screwed. Overall he's a great professor and cares ab biology

Dr. Bancroft is one of the best professors at SELU, he genuinely cares that you learn the material instead of just memorizing it for a grade (take that for what you will). You do have to actually attend class and make an effort to study, but as long as you do he's willing to help you

Dr. Bancroft is awesome! He teaches through an outline on the board, which is great for visual learners. You can miss class and still pass, but his lectures are hilarious and filled to the brim with information that you will need for exams. He will also work with you on any problems you may have.

Taking this class was a complete joy. Bancroft knows his stuff! Every class was insightful and easy if you follow along and show up. Posts notes on his website that you can follow along the lecture to. So many jokes and funny stories ! I loved this class. Honestly the best professor I've had in my 3 years of college so far! 100% Will take again!!

Enjoyed this class. He does a great job on teaching a lot of information in a way that's retainable. I wish he was teaching my next BIO.

Took Professor Bancroft and his class was very easy. The tests are on Quizlet and he rarely took attendance. I definitely suggest taking his class if you are not a biology major and looking for an easy class that takes little effort.

Such a sweet man. He genuinely cares about his students. He's also a genius. I wish he taught Microbiology. Also love his accent. British. Funny, kind, extremely smart. Goes on tangents a lot, but it makes him happy and he's so cute when he's happy. He just wants everyone to be happy, and makes a real effort to do so. I love him!

I took his class over the summer and he is my favorite professor so far! He makes learning enjoyable and he only teaches what we need to know for the test. Really good and tells you exactly whats on the test. Towards the end of semester, people stop showing up so he tells the ones that do more information about the questions on test. Show up and listen and youll get atleast a B

Dr. Bancroft is English so be ready for the accent. He for the most part is a good lecturer and all his notes are online. A lot of the former students have all the answers for his test so if you can find an upper classman who had him you will be fine.

He is hilarious and his British accent is so cute. He reminds me of a mad scientist. He doesn't care whether or not you come to class and he almost never takes attendance. About 10-20 students get up and leave class and he says nothing. People barely attend his class unless it is a test day. Most people only pass because ALL his tests are online.

Dr. Bancroft is awesome! The only grades you have are the 4 tests he gives, so in order to pass his class you need to show up to a majority of the lectures! His British accent makes the class even more enjoyable and he uses real life examples to help his students understand the material.

HIs tests are super easy, but his lectures are scattered and hard to keep up with. He is a good choice for Bio 151.

Biology isn't an easy subject for me but Keith Bancroft made learning biology fun for me. I enjoyed coming to class and he makes class interesting and EASY!!! Test are easy you just have to know what study habit is best for you. He also goes over the material from previous classes to refresh your mind and does a review the class before a test.

I loved this man's class so much, he will never fail to make you laugh. He explains everything in an easy to understand way. Would definitely take again if I could!

He always talks about retiring but he loves his students so much, he's not ready to! Sometimes hard to follow but he's HILARIOUS and I really enjoyed his class! 4 tests & no homework, assignments, or extra credit but if you show up to class every day and he knows who you are, he'll remember that at the end of the semester!

One of my favorite professors at southeastern. He is very funny and will keep you entertained. The notes and everything else you need for the class are online . If I could take him again I would . This is an amazing class to take . Hard to follow sometimes but easy class .

He's hilarious. If you really want to learn biology then don't take him, but if you want an easy A, take him! All of his tests are on quizlet, word for word. He leaves the room while you test. Dr. Keith Bancroft is a unique, witty, and colorful character who presents the course material in way to help you to recall what YOU have studied. ASK QUESTIONS!!! The notes for the class are online and YOU will need to study them. He will cover the material in his lecture and create flowcharts for you to follow the process/breakdown of the topic.

Bancroft acts erratic, goes off on tangents, acts like he doesn't care about anything and anybody. all those are false. He is very lovable and personable and will go the extra step to make sure you succeed in his class. Flow charts, and his own personalized notes your success in his class. He truly loves Biology Take him!

I took Bancroft for a summer course, he was amazing! He let us out early quite a few times and even had some open note tests. Bancroft is the best science teacher I've ever had! He is a bit unorthodox at times, but he makes learning interactive and fun. Sometimes he gets off topic trying to relate concepts to a real world scenario, but other than that, he is awesome! Pay attention to the lectures, and study a few nights before and you'll be good!

Bancroft is a caring teacher. He knows the material he is teaching and teaches it in a funny way. You don't have to show up to pass this class because most of the test are on quizlet, but he remembers the faces of his students. If you need one point to have an A in the class and you don't come to class, he will not give you that one point.

Tough class. He's all over the place with his lectures and randomly goes off on tangents. He's funny though and wants his students to do well. Lectures are long and info-heavy. His method of teaching the material is very specific and doesn't work for everyone. You'll do alright if you really put in the work, but it's definitely not an easy A.

Dr. Bancroft is SO funny and you definitely can tell he cares about his students. He tends to go off onto tangents that have nothing to do with the lecture though. If you struggle in biology I would suggest a different teacher, otherwise he is good. Only grades are 4 tests with no other participation grades to help.

Mr. Bancroft is so funny, I took him in Fall 2019. you do not have to go to class, but I highly suggest it, just because its like watching stand up comedy lol. he is a really great guy and no classwork what so ever. also if you go to class every time and make your face known he often will help you out at the end of the semester if you need it.

Funniest proffesor I have ever had. He makes you want to come to class. You don't NEED to attend class but he gives you hints on what is on the test and gives you some stuff that may not be in the notes. Tests were online bc of the hurricane but if they were not then I am not sure how I would do. I would take him over any other bio profesor though

He provides his notes, so even if you dont go to class you will have the material. I really liked him, he had different ways of teaching and note taking than most other teachers, but in a good way.

I haven't attended his class in about three weeks and just made an A on my test. Is a waste of time going to class honestly unless you're clueless in bio. Even if you are completely lost listening to him go on about nothing for a hour probably won't help. Gets off topic at least 8 times per class, very very very funny tho when he does

Professor Bancroft is great! Overall, he has a great sense of humor and his class is enjoyable. His teaching style is very unique, if you do not take notes in class you will fail. 4 exams determine your grade, and most information is learned in class (not online ppts). Although difficult, he cares and will help you out if you attend his lectures.

He recently changed tests so Quizlet won't help as much as before. Got an 84.8 in this class and he rounded it to a 90. Just ask lots of questions so he knows who youare
