I struggle incredibly in math... noone but Mr. Eddy would have made it possible for me to actually get a B... amazing teacher, HIGHLY reccomended for anyone taking any math class. Hilarious and always willing to help.

He's an incredibly sweet mid 50's man. He makes a long class interesting with his mathematical jokes. He gives partial credit on tests, very flexible, lets you use your cell for class assignments "phone a friend"and respectful. He makes you appreciate Math which is really hard to do. Honestly the best math teacher I've had.

has a dry sense of humor, but its so dry its hilaroius at times lol. Fast pace teaching style. If you like your teachers to sit there and go over the same problems the whole class period, well hes not it. Must be on top of your work. All the homework is easy because it is on mymathlab.com/coursecompass so you can try each question over and over until you get the right answer without it affecting your grade. This was the easiest math class I have ever taken, and I came in with no knowledge of stats. Eddy teaches you only what you need to know to pass. In comparison to other math teachers I've had at COS, he gives less hw and quizzes (his quizzes are in class, not online) and his tests are easy. If you want an easy A in stats, he's the teacher for you.

If you can take Keith math class! Well if your on here to look for easy teachers he's the man! I had drop my 230 class with a W that I took with another math teacher. Got Keith next semester & it was easy! I actually learned a little.Hw online, quiz in class, lets you use your cell durning quiz & exam.I'm now going to take him for stats in summer

He teaches step by step and is very consistent with making sure his students are on track when they truly desire a good grade...dont skip class, do the homework, study your notes & reviews. sk when u need help or get lost... I took him from Math 200 to Math 21 with no regrets or struggle!

Love taking his math class I was scared taking stats in summer but I already knew his teaching style. I put in a lot of work and stuyed. Keith was always willing to help and grades fairly. I'm happy I took his class and recamened you all to take him. He makes it fun with his corny jokes that catch you off gaurd cuz your brain dead from the material

He is a very approachable and nice professor. I enjoyed his class--though I have a feeling he is much easier than many others might be, but ultimately, I feel like I learned from him. Highly recommended for the non math /science major. Also, you don't use the book much at all, you could "share" one easily.

Quizzes are mainly in class for Math 200 and for 230 quizzes are mostly on mymathlab. Attendance is not mandatory, but you will fall behind if you do miss class.

My all time favorite math teacher. He has a sense of humor and doesn't make math boring. He clarify s his steps and makes sure everyone understands. He takes his time in the math tutor to help his students too. I highly recommend him to anyone for a math professor.

mr. Eddy is the best math teacher i have had. Its the first time i am actually doing good in a math class. You will pass his class as long as you attend class and do your homework and ohh yeah pay attention when he goes over test questions before tests as they are exactly similar to the ones on the test.

If I could create a cartoon character that was a math teacher, it would be Professor Eddy. He tells cheesy math jokes, he keeps all of his pens in his pocket, and he is excited about two things; math and baseball. His lectures are very clear and makes math easy to understand. If you attend class and do the homework you will do fine.

Needed an online math code for the book and doing the homework, but the textbook wasn't necessary. Helpful when asked questions. If you go to class and do your homework you should have no problem passing this class.

I've had Eddy for two classes, Math 200 and Math 154 and he is the best math teacher I've ever had at COS. Go to class, do the notes and they will help on your homework (MyMathLab). Exams on every chapter and quizzes occassionally. Very fair grader. He actually wants you to learn and pass. The jokes are icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

Keith Eddy is the best. I took him for math 230, Statistics & Trigonometry and got A's in all. He makes everything very clear and tells you exactly what to study for. Too bad he doesn't teach pre-calc! I highly recommend him. Just take him you won't regret it.

Eddy is an amazing teacher! I always have a hard to time to understand math and it takes me more time than most to understand simple concepts, but Mr. Keith was always ready to help and took the time to explain things to me. Just show up, take notes, and do the homework and your almost guaranteed a passing grade.

Easiest class I ever took

This is my second time taking stats. I passed with an A. Last semester I took john redden, he is the worst math teacher ever. Keith Eddy is hands down the best stats teacher. He is very clear and understandable. Highly recommended. Not much homework and he drops a couple of quizzes and homework. I went to an F to an A.

Great lectures. Class consists of learning new topics about coding and doing example problems. There are 1-3 programming labs that are due every other week online, which are not hard, along with an online quiz. He reviews for the midterm and final in class and both tests are not hard at all. Mr. Eddy is a great professor and is very helpful and fun

Taking him again for stats I failed algebra 2 the first time but he really does try to help and stays after class for questions great teacher

Absolutely loved taking his class! Comes in teaches what we need to know makes funny jokes then leaves! Most definitely need to be there as well as do My STAT Lab. Other doing the homework taking the tests and showing up its super easy A!

Fantastic and hilarious teacher. His jokes are more like dad jokes, but theyre pretty funny. He does every problem literally step by step and if youre confused about something and ask him about it, he wont let you go until you understand it. Quite a bit of homework, but its all pretty easy. Would DEFINITELY take him again.

Mr Eddy made math 230 a breeze always struggled until I had him prepared you only for what will be on the quizzes and exams you must do hw everday although there is a set date to turn in everything passed with an A wish that he taught trig :(

Homework is online and has tools to help you through it and you can redo questions till you get 100% on the homework section of the class and that alone should help you on the tests and quizzes. 32 Homework assignments, 5 quizzes(one take home), 5 tests(one take home)and 1 final(its accumulative) and my semester was finished. Good Luck

He drops the lowest exam, quiz and three homework scores so it really helps out your grade. Just listen in class and ask questions and do all the homework. He doesn't ask for much and he is approachable. Definitely would recommend.

Ehh I enjoyed his class for the most part. His jokes rather bland but ehh at least it put a smile on my face. Really cares for his students and class is not as difficult. Personally he made it easier than Algebra 2, so take this class for an easy A.

I took this class over the summer and it was super easy! He gives multiple examples of what will be on the test so as long as your paying attention and keeping up, you will do great. There is an online portion where you do homework, quizzes, and tests, so be prepared to work outside of class.

By saying this, I am not trying to say he is an easy A because as all math professors he is not; However he does is a Possible A. conclusion, seat in front ask when you don' understand, clear your doubts, and this will be another A or your first A. Seriously passed this class with flying colors! He is such a good professor, I would highly recommend him! Must show up to class to understand the material, but even if you dont its not hard to catch up. Tests are less then 15 questions and he makes you understand the material so well that the tests are a piece of cake!

THE GOAT!!! Mr. Eddy was one of the best teachers i've ever had. I took his 7 am 4 days a week class and missed a lot of days of his class due to sleeping and i still passed easily. The class is extremely easy and i enjoyed his class. He makes class fun with his jokes and makes math better for everyone. Indiana Eddy lives on.

Mr. Eddy is an excellent professor! Class may seem a bit slow at times, but that is because he wants to make sure everyone understands the material. Even if math is not your strong suit, you will still succeed in his class.

He is an awesome professor! This class was crazy easy, he was a good teacher and he taught things in a way anyone can understand it. Most of the math is done using the computer so it makes it even easier. There is a lot of homework but it really helps prepare for the tests.

He was an awesome teacher. Everything on the tests were from his lecture/notes. All homework is done online & is due at the end of the semester. Most tests are done on paper though. Definitely would take him again!

He's super awkward, but in a really funny way. His lectures aren't great, they're pretty similar day to day but they're really easy to follow. He uses a program called statcrunch which does all the work for you! You just need to keep up when he shows you the steps to get the answer!

Went into this class knowing nothing about computers. All you have to do is pay attention during lectures, and the labs will be easier. He is not too strict on assignment due dates or attendance, and he is always available outside of class if you need help with labs. It is important you go to class for the labs.

He was an amazing professor. He knew his stuff and really engaged students. Don't be afraid to ask questions; he is happy to help and wants his students to pass. He is HILARIOUS and I always left his class in a good mood. All homework was due at the end of the semester (and online!) so you could learn at your own pace. A great class for freshmen.

Amazing math teacher goes slow and reteaches if need be. He will answer your question until it is clear you get it. With COVID he did awesome in making the class still accessible in learning even when we went online. Lectures are slow and monotoned to understand concepts. I wish he taught every single math class, so I can take it with him.
