Similar to the post above. He does tend to move around a lot like hes always nervous. I havent had an exam yet so I can respond on that but overall he seems nice and seems like an easy class to pass.

Dr. Keith Happaney is God's gift to Lehman College. All my girlfriends and I love him. It's true that he sweats, but this is due to his amazing Burberry wardrobe. Da playa got it goin on. He is a genius -- don't let his mooncalf expressions fool you. When his course is over, you will feel you are cybernetically enhanced with a $6bil brain.

Very kind, caring, and a fair grader. I had taken this class before with a different professor and wound up withdrawing from it, but he makes little jokes and attempts to make the material interesting. He is very smart and is willing to stay after class and go over material with you until you understand it. I'd definitely recommend taking his class

I got a low grade in his class and it was because i didnt read the chapters. He gives easy tests if you actually read the chapters. He's funny and very good looking and extremely helpful! A+

He's great, but you cant slide by. You have to read the text before you go to class. He makes the material interesting though. And he's cute in an awkward, twitchy kinda way.. lol

The best psychology professor. Very funny and love his exams because he gives bonus points from quizzes, which adds up for the exam. I tried to take him for other Psych courses, but looks like he doesn't teach any other besides this. Would love to take him anytime. Read the textbook, and the slides are usually from the book.

i took this professor during the winter session, so there was a lot of reading. the class was interesting and i got alot out of it, he is awesome the best professor i've ever had, and he is very funny! you learn alot without realizing it!

Dr. Happaney is a wonderful professor at Lehman. He is intelligent and makes the information very practical and relates it to every day life. He is also very helpful and gives great advice as an academic advisor. Don't read any more...just take the class. You will learn and be entertained all at the same time.

The best professor at Lehman's psych dept. Makes class very interesting & entertaining. You do, however, have to be able to understand & analyze the material in order to pass his tests & quizzes, and he's great at simplifying hard to grasp ideas. I would highly recommend taking his class.

I LOVE DR. HAPPANEY. He is my favorite professor at Lehman. I love everything about him. I took Soc. & Emotional Development just because he teaches it. He's entertaining, gives clear lectures, and wants his students to do well. Honestly, you can't NOT do well on his exams because he's very through with reviews. STRONGLY recommend.

Professor Happaney is absolutely AMAZING! I took the honors intro course as well as Evolutionary Psych with him. It's no surprise that he got professor of the year for 2011, and he only teaches a couple of classes so that says a lot there. The classes were very interesting, you will learn a lot. You won't regret taking his class!

He is great! Drops the lowest grade. Is very clear and to the point and doesn;t stress you! You'll do good if you read the book and pay attention in class.

Professor Keith is a very remarkeable teacher. He is very passionate about psychology and it shows in his lectures. He gives three exams throughout the semester and various quizzes about every two weeks. The book is very important for his class because you will need to read them in order to do good int he exams and quizzes.

The textbook is "needed" but I got by without it. I know some people that needed it but seriously everyting you need are in the powerpoints. He gives you the power points to study from. The easiness is me not him.

He's super funny. I personally did not enjoy the class,3 test, 6 quizzes, & 4 mini papers. Btw his test are super hard.

Rarely do you find a Professor here as passionate as he is. But his passion will definitely effect you. Yes he can be forgetful, but it doesn't effect your grade. As long as you read the book, print his notes and really listen to him, you'll understand the material. He's funny, even when he tells stories it's about the material. He's a must to take

Professor Happeny was one of the best professors I had at Lehman. He makes jokes and tries to ease the pressure. You must read the text and his notes because the exams are tricky. If you attend class and study you will do great.

Definitely would take again, Happaney is funny and engaging. He makes things very clear and easy to understand. I took him for Intro to psych, and social and emotional development. Great both times.

Prof Happaney is adorable and makes lecture enjoyable. You honestly cannot fail this class if you do everything you need to . Asks short response questions before exams, offers a study session before the FINAL (even gives out a study sheet). He's super helpful and wants his students to do really well. He explains the material until you get it.

Easily one of my favorite prof. at Lehman College. He is very easy going. Prof. Happaney provides more than enough extra credit to ensure you pass his class with an A. You have pleanty of time to complete the other assignments he gives you, however, they can be a bit long to read if you procrastinate. Really approchable if you have any questions.

I never had so much fun learning! Dr. Happaney knows how to engage his students, and he's very intelligent. Would definately take again.

Funny guy, but since I'm a slacker I had an okay grade. Still didn't fail any tests tho. Just pay attention in class, its easy to do so because he's entertaining, take some notes and study, then the tests and quizzes you get will be fine. READ THE TEXTBOOK, there's a summary in the back so its easy. and follow the syllabus, he follows it to a T.

I took this class as a freshman and I loved it. I suggest you study for the tests, they were all multiple choice and i think some short answers but still cannot wing it. Overall, very good professor, he is charismatic, and is corny at times.

Enjoyed his class. He was very funny & made the class interesting. The power-points were super helpful. Exams consisted of multiple choice and 2 or 3 short answers. Don't take the exams lightly though, they aren't easy. Does give a 10 M.C. question test almost every week @ the beginning of class, so don't be late! Makes good review sheets to study.

Great professor! Funny, clear on all points and prepares you very well for quizzes/exams. His slides are enough to understand and study the material so don't bother with the textbook. Definitely worth taking, easy A!

Happaney is a tough grader, not in the sense that he gives you hell when grading but his exams become more difficult through out the semester. Three exams. 10 quizzes BUT written part of exam is given in advance so you KNOW whats the right answer ahead and some quizzes are "Practice quizzes", so you get FULL credit regardless of your answers.

Dr. Happaney is a fun professor to have. He's very funny and a great story-teller. His lectures are witty and easy to remember, which makes tests and assignments much easier! I learned a lot in his class, but did not feel over-burdened with work.

He's very laid back and has a good sense of humor. I took him for the 5 week session over the summer. There's 3 exams, the lowest one is dropped; same goes for the homework and quizzes. The powerpoints are also very helpful, too.

Its better to buy the textbook, because the answer to one of the quiz questions will be from the book not lecture. I would definitely take him again. Hes a good intro to psychology.

He is the best Professor I have taken for a psychology class. Professor Happeney made class fun and interesting with his sense of humor. We are graded on 3 exams, some quizzes and 2-3 short assignments. Unless you are a slacker, it should be impossible to fail his class. I wish he had taught other psychology courses.

I wish I took more of his classes. I took his summer course which had to be crunched because of time, but I wish I got to experience a real full semester. Great professor, very engaging, funny and I highly recommend. Take notes and show up.

He is clear on expectations, makes this subject interesting, is funny/sweet/smart/respectful, & my only criticism is how some other students were clearly lazy but acted like the professor was at fault/rude when they didnt complete assignments. The reality is he is one of the best professors & as long as you do your part you will pass/enjoy class.

If you pay attention, write notes, and study for his quizzes and exams you will do well. But if you are lazy & expect an easy A, then this class isn't for you. Best professor. He was my Evolutionary Psychology professor. It was tough for me keeping up due to Statistics as well this term, but he was a very good professor. He has PowerPoint and recordings of lecture as well. There are essay questions he will give you and articles, including a YouTube video "The Animal Kingdom". He uses SafeAssign for all tests /assignments

I don't say this often, but I love this professor. He's very simple and had me laughing the entire semester with his small jokes. He gives the answers to the short answer questions before the test so just pay attention. He doesn't take attendance often, just study for his tests and you'll be fine. Ask questions if you need help, he's really cool!

I honestly enjoyed the class, he is a very understanding professor. His lectures are funny but educational. READ THE TEXTBOOK there are 5 quizzes all on the textbook. Overall, the class is pretty laidback you just have to pay attention.

I took him for Psych 305 and wow what an amazing professor. He's hilarious, you can't help but laugh in his lectures. Test and final 37 multiple choice questions that if you study you should pass with an A. He makes sure to explain the topics in such an easy and fun way to understand. Just don't abuse his caring nature cuz this guy is amazing!
