He was a really down to earth professor. We didn't really do much paper wise. We wrote 3 papers at the end of the semester and a couple of essays throught the course. He tells a lot of stories. I really enjoyed his class.

Best teacher i've ever had, he really makes sure your essays are rich with personal interest. He draws you into the world of stories and makes writing the essays fun. he doesnt take attendance but your severely missing out on fun and very helpful class time if your absent.

I couldn't be more fortunate! Professor Hunter was my inspiration, i was so afraid to write that i considered dropping the class. However, he make sure that i enjoy and see the beauty of writing. He cares about your education and make sure that you take advantage of his knowledge. I will recommend him no doubt. Go to class and do your Best :)

I can honestly say that Prof Hunter has been my favorite. He's full of wisdom and life experience which makes for a great story teller. His charisma captures your attention and you're entertained the whole semester. I would recommend his class to everyone.

Probably one of the best teachers I've had so far. He is such a good story teller and his stories are crazy; I was expecting him on the last day of classes to say that they were all false, but no. Throughout the whole semester, I only had to write about 4 essays and was never bored in class. Deffinatly recommend him.

Great teacher - overall a fun guy. A lot of stories but he keeps you interested and in the end it all ties together. He is very smart and although he doesn't mandate you attend his class, you most definitely should!

He was an amazing professor truly help you out in anything and everything you needed. Wonderful stories to which helped you write your papers. Very personable and I would for sure take him again! Always kept a smile on the classes face!

I'm still enrolled in the class, but for those of you signing up for classes now, I highly recommend him. His stories are both entertaining & helpful. Every time I leave that class I always feel inspired. Hes such a nice person and will help with anything. We have no tests or quizzes. We only have 3 essays due at the end of the semester. TAKE HIM!

Took him for Comp 1 and 2. I highly reccomend him. Tells lots of stories but they have meanings. Longest paper I wrote was 5 pages. He lets you keep correcting your papers until you get it right. Very helpful. He takes about 2 weeks to get your papers back to you during a regular semester. You don't need any kind of text book. Great guy

I took Prof. Hunter for Comp. 1. THIS IS A REALLY EASY CLASS. You work on papers, and they are easy, He is very nice and is a funny man. The problem is I didn't feel like I learned anything new. If you are looking for EASY, Attendance that is not required to get an A, and a class where you don't have to show up to get an A. this is for you.

This is by far the best teacher I have ever had. EASY really CARES about teaching, rather than just giving tests. You have more than one chance to turn in essays...No midterm and no final no tests..TAKE HIM

I dont know what the ones below are talking about.He might not come to class all the time but is a great professor.You have 4 essays to do.No test, no final.A portfolio is due at the end.In the essays he will help you, revise as many times and tell you what you need to add or not.He explains each essay and they are only 500 words.

The BEST professor ever! He tells great stories and really help u think about what your writing about. The class is really EASY. No quizzes or tests. The final is a portfolio. I took his class for Spring 2012 and got an A. I recommend everyone to take his class its really EASY. Textbook not required.

i had hunter spring 2012 and he was awesome. he was thorough, clear, thoughtful and funny. he always made time before, after, or even during class to help me with my writing. he's not like other teachers. it's not all about a test and a grade for him. he cares about you becoming a better writer. but you have to do it. he won't do it for you.

he goes out of his way to help you and if you are running behind with a paper he is willing to help you with an extension. His lectures are always interesting and the whole class gives their a opinion. he even lets you pick majority of the topics to write about

He is a great teacher. By far the best professor I have encountered in my short college experience. I recommend him to anybody.

the best teacher ever! he's funny, he cares, he tells great stories, and he understands when things go wrong for you. i didn't think he was easy but he was fair and always willing to help me do better. i wish he would teach comp 2.

Professor Hunter is great. He doesn't use the book eventhough the book store says it's required. He DOES take attendance, dont think he's not. He tells great stories, VERY helpful and is a nice, down to earth guy. Pay attention, show up, turn in papers before they are due and you will do great in his class.

I'm not the biggest fan of writing essays, but when I wanted my essay to be better than the last, he'd help me as much as he needed to so I'd understand what I should do in order to improve my essays. He's a pretty funny guy and tells great stories to keep his class alive. If I can, I plan to take his class again for Comp II.

Great Professor. I would recommend him to anyone who has a desire to succeed. He will give you many chance to make corrections and is very helpful. He makes class very interesting. I was NEVER bored.

Prof Hunter was a great teacher and was extremly helpful. i had him in the spring of 2013 and it was an evening class, and he had no problems staying late after class ended at 8:45 to help with anything. funny stories and he makes you think. great teacher. at end of class i really knew my puncuation. no problem getting an A if you work hard.

He was the best professor I have taken a course with. Literally helped me every step of the way, even after class. He won't hold your hand, but will steer you in the right direction. Listen to his stories, they are meant to inspire your storytelling. This is not a class for the lazy and thoughtless. Thank you Professor Hunter.

Professor Hunter is great!!!! All of those people who say he doesn't tell you how to write your essay; he will help you, all you have to do is ask him!!! If you write your papers and do somewhat okay on the grammar test you will pass. I wish he taught Comp 2.

I hate writing, but Hunter made me love my essays and made class interesting and relevant. He has a lot of spunk. MUST TAKE HIS CLASS. I wish he taught Comp 2.

Great Teacher Awesome guy

If you want to be challenged with your writing, then this is the class for you. His topics.. I found then weird, but the made me think harder than I ever have before. He will talk your ear off all class about god knows what, and then a week later when your trying to write your paper... it all makes sense. He kind of missed class a lot.

It's tough to say, he's a cool guy, unquestionably easy - and you CAN learn a lot if you pay attention. This is a good teacher for people who already know how to write a good essay. He will help you when you ask, but other then that most class periods you'll be sitting there listening to his stories that all somehow revert back to the main topic.

In his class, we learn about syntax. We're writing a couple of essays but that's about it. He is a very nice teacher and he values his students.

Take this class if you're already a great writer. He's an amazing professor! He knows how to explain difficult concepts to his students. I will warn you though that towards the end you will have to put in a lot of work. He assigned 2 essays and they were due back to back (one Monday the other Wednesday). Again if you're a good writer have fun!

Professor Hunter is the coolest guy you will ever meet. I tried to get him for my Comp 2 class but he was already full. He tells these stories about himself every class and they some how always relate back to the lesson at hand. I am a dual enrollment student and he helped me after class with application essays for other colleges. Super nice!!

Very entertaining class! Stories told are awesome. Wrote three papers total for his summer course. highly recommended!

Made class super fun with stories (he has a really interestingfunny past)! He assigned us about 3-4 papers that weren't hard, just follow his basic rules and criteria on what he wants and that's it! No midterm or final. He doesn't really post grades online but does give back graded papers in person that may or may not be in a timely manner.

I took the ENC1102 as a mini summer session. The class was abbreviated so the assignment due dates weren't really spaced. He does give class time to work on assignments though and gives you feedback as you work. As long as you you do the assignments and listen to his feedback, you'll get a good grade. He is also laid back and understanding.

I am terrible at English. This Professor is amazing and helped me so much through the semester. If you want feedback and class cut short, TAKE HIM!!!! Plus he's funny and easy going!

The only thing I didn't like about his class was that he doesn't put in grades. He grades fairly and getting an A is not hard unless you don't do the work. I recommend him, light work, and puts the chapter of the text book on canvas so you won't have to buy the textbook.

He is a very helpful professor, i enjoyed my time in his class, he is somewhat a though grader.

Hunter is a great person! He cares about his students and lets you ask questions. Goes around the room and helps each student! And his stories are great too.

I love Prof. Hunter! He is my favorite professor. I wish I could take all my classes w him. For those who say he doesn't teach or care; you are so wrong. He is always available to explain things so that you get it. I was very intimidated by writing but he really made me feel confident. I had him for 2 classes & I got an A in both.

Keith makes sure you understand the material, and will put it into a way you can understand it if you don't. He is very funny and easy-going. If you have any suggestions or questions, or a way you want to do something with your paper, he will make sure it stays yours and won'the shape it too much.

Hands down best teacher ever. He doesn't use canvas so keep everything he grades. If you show up, come prepared, and stay off your phone, you get an A. Super sarcastic, super funny

I kinda makes me sad that all these people hating on Keith. By far one of my favorite professors I have gotten so far. I had only 4 assignments the whole semester and they where all fairly easy with no turn in date. If you fail his class it is because you never showed up and did the papers.

Professor Hunter is a bit difficult to get used to at first, but a true connection and understanding of the reading will get you very far in his course. He gives wonderful feedback, and helped me turn my papers into pieces of writing I could be proud of. I couldn't have asked for a better English professor for my first semester of college.
