He is the best teacher that I ever had. Yes, he makes you work for your grade. But, he is always availble and willing to help. He is always prepared and his lectures have lots of visual aids.

He is the best teacher I have ever had. Don't expect and easy grades though, he makes you work for your grade. He assings some difficult projects but if you put in enough time you will get through them. If you are scare of Calc classes sign up with him. He is always ready to help!

Awsome guy and great teacher. Writes things very clear on the board and explains things in the easiest possible way. I could've done better but I always left in between breaks and i still managed a good grade.

A good teacher who explains his points clearly. I feel he could be a bit more energetic in his teaching though. Often times he seems to become monotone and almost as though he is talking at you and not to you. Overall a good teacher but lacking passion... and maple sucks don't pay any attention to it...

Nabb is the man. If you plan on going on in math or physics, he'll help you out. I'm at Iowa now, and there are no teachers that care more about your success than a guy like Nabb. Take him and work hard to succeed.

No doubt he's a good teacher...but I found his exams and extra credit to be very hard. If you're a math major...take him to actually LEARN the material. If you're not a math major...find an alternative professor.

He is a helpful teacher, but very hard. His grading system was too strict. The whole grade was based on 3 tests and a project. Even if you are in class every day and do your work, you can still fail the class. Don't take him if you're looking for a blow off class

Easy teacher and not hard at all if you like Math. Explains everything clearly and thoroughly. If you ever have a math class take him. Homework is optional and he drops your lowest test grade. BEST teacher in the department.

Mr Nabb is not a crab, nor does he make us do a lab. Mr. Nabb is quite the fellow, he does not whisper nor does he bellow. No, for real though, he is truly awesome. favorite teacher of all time. You're will learn in this class..period. If you do not have strong math skills or dont want to try tho, dont take him. He is the kinda teacher I want to be tho. I'd recommend him one thousand times over to anyone who wanted to truly learn calculus at any level

This was my second time trying to pass pre-calc. Keith's strategies were great and very helpful. I am so horrible at Math but I did decent in his class. Gives extra credit and is clear and to the point. Tests are general and he doesn't try to screw you over. I needed to pass to get into my major at my university and I did. He's the best calc teache

i took his online calc class this summer. Great teacher, real nice and helpful. I haven't taken a math class in 5 years and he really does a great job of breaking down the material and communicating it in a way a lay person can understand. he should write a book, he's that good

One of The best math teacher in MVCC. he makes math kind of easy by organizing his materials. helpfull, gives extra credit, no quizes, one nice project, attendance is not mandatory, exams are kind of fair (if you study you do will on them). got A in the class for about 10-12 hours of studing day before the exams. hope this helpfull.

Took him for online Calc 1. I've taken 6 semesters of math at Moraine now and he's the best math teacher I've had so far. His tests were extremely fair, no curve balls, but made sure u knew the material. I wish he taught Calc 2, but I still use his resources even though I have a different teacher! Take him 100%! He's the best and so are his notes!

Nabb is awesome. Totally recommend him. He's there for help, plus has his own website for extra help (previous tests are online examples. follows exactly whats on the practice exam). He's got a good sense of humor. Totally take him.

The class is SO hard! He's not a bad teacher, the whole trig thing is just hard to grasp. Math was one of my strengths till I went to that class. Nabb is too nice, and he can be boring, and it's going to be hard to pass. Definitely a risk to take this class

Amazing teacher, his website is valuable-examples of old exams, study help, & Maple Software incredible (is on all MVCC computers), he will tutor you individually if you need additional help. I had to drop the course, I was working full time & attending graduate school full time. I am taking him next semester and can hardly wait! Yeah Calculus I.

Fantastic teacher. Very knowledgable on the subject, and will clearly demonstrate proofs of topics for initiated students. Exams are very forgiving, free of surprises, and focus more on general concepts, rather than mind-bender problems. Keith is an unbelievable asset, particularly for a community college.

Calculus is not the easiest class in the world (i failed it the first time I took it with another teacher) but professor Nabb makes it relatively easy. You do have to study a lot, though. Do the homework problems and study his sample tests and you'll do great

I took and struggled with calc in highschool and barely got a B both semesters but Nabb is a PHENOMENAL teacher!!! Takes time to answer questions and really cares to see you do well in the class! Super knowledgeable teacher. Puts great effort in making Calc understandable and thoroughly explains each and every detail. Always eager to assist students during office hours. Fair grader and super neat on the white board, which really is unbelievably helpful in a math class. No complaints. I'd highly recommend signing up for any of his classes.

This isnt just the best professor in moraine valley- this is the best professor in the USA. They should clone him. Hes amazing at teaching but his tests are still very challenging. Usually everyone likes a professor because theyre easy- but everyone likes this professor because hes fair, nice, and explains everything perfectly. Not because hes easy

AMAZING! He made even honors calc seem easy. Go the day before the test and you'll do great. Lots of extra credit available too.

The only downside to Nabb is that he blindsides you on the tests.. I always used to study the problems that were never on the test and thosewhere the ones he told us to study!!

Mr. Nabb is a very nice professor, he explains materials very clear. Personally I am not a big fan of Maths, but Mr. Nabb makes things interesting and fun! He is always so helpful and willing to spend time with students after class. As long as you ask, he will definitely explain to you until you fully get it! Take him!

To put this simply Mr. Nabb is the man. His board work is super clean. Class is extremely interesting and he does lots of problems in class that are really challenging. His tests are as he puts it "middle of the road" problems. In other words the homework that you are assigned is the test, he is not like other teachers that give impossible problems

Mr. Nabb is a wonderful teacher. He is the epitome of niceness. His teaching style is interactive and lectures are never boring. Questions are best asked in office hours and he is genuinely interested in his students. Exams are can be bit hard, however, they are only worth 25% and include extra credit. Take either Nabb or Hennessy for calculus.

There is no reason to not take his class. You have to work for it but if you do the A is achievable. Encourages you to think beyond whats on the board and to incorporate calc into solutions for everyday problems. You will learn more than math from this class. It is also not a cakewalk so be sure to stay on top or you will drop fast. Fair Grading

If your major is engineering , medical, or chemistry take Nabb. He is brilliants, practice exams on his website, he care about you the student to be successful, tutors during office hours. I wish he taught MTH 151 & 152

After taking Nabb for MTH-151 i realized that my MTH-150 professor missed so much!. Nabb made me love calculus , in fact I am taking MTH-153 in fall. Take Nabb!!!!

Dr. Nabb, has his own free helpfuly website with practice and sample exams, links to MIT etc. YOU have to study. if YOU don't YOU will fail. Nabb makes it super easy to study and pass if YOU do the work. Nabb is the best! Teacher of the year 2012

Last dude makes a good point. This class is no walk in the park but you will leave with an understanding of calculus. That is what is important to Nabb. Study and work hard!

Dr. Nabb, is wonderful. his online website with examples of older exams, helpful website links. His office hours are either before or after class. Wish he taught MTH-152. Going to IIT in Fall 2014. Thanks Nabb for being hard on us, I got into IIT because of it ( Engineering )

Nabb, an excellent teacher. gives extra credit on exams,and tells you what's gonna be on the exams. I see a lot of negative emphasis put on the difficulty level of this class. Ofc it's gonna be hard - it's freaking Calculus 1 & 2. This class is like a part-time job. If you want A study at least 2h every day.

He is an awesome teacher. Its Calculus; it will be freaking hard no matter with whom you take it with. You NEED to do the hw for every section. Its not mandatory for him or a grade but this is the only way to practice. PRACTICE PRACTICE! you cant get past any Calc class without practicing. Nabb rocks. He is very clear and understandable

I took his online class. It's actual really good. Theres notes, videos, discussion, etc. It is very well structured and organized. The important thing is not to fall behind. Stay on the suggested schedule and you will learn a lot.

This teacher is really good. He teaches very clearly and will answer any question you have. He set up his office time right after my class with him and you can go there for extended help if you need it! Great teacher, but don't miss a class because he goes over a lot of material every day.

My math skills improve because of him. He is a very good teacher. He explains things well and deeply. I am sure you will have some deep comprehension after taking Calculus with him. I wish he teaches CAL III. Sometimes he does, but he often teach CAL I and CAL II. I recommend you should take him if you are aimed to major in Engineering. Good Luck!

Loved this class. He gives lots of time and space to solve problems and we talk about them once someone in the class has solved it. You truly learn the stuff by doing problems. Unlike other math classes I've taken. Gives a take home midterm too and participations counts for a ton of your grade. Really like this class.

I had him for Calc 1. Yeh hes tough but it's calculus. He met with me a few times outside of office hours ('cause the other times didn't work). Without that, I wouldn't have done so well. He really helps but you cant be a sloth. Ask for help. I got a B but worked for it!

Great professor! You have to explain what is going on, you work with a group on really tough problems. I'll admit, didn't like it at first but the homework is a BREEZE after sitting in his class. You learn a ton but you may not realize this at first. Not a typical class at all. Why all math isn't taught this way is beyond me.

This class will kick your butt but you'll be ready for math and engineering wherever you go after Moraine. He is extrememly accessible outside of class.
