She sure knows her stuff. I wish that she gave some assignments to do for a grade so that our final grade didn't only rely on exams. She goes kind of fast so if you are the type to copy word by word, take someone else or start shortening your notes.

Very good teacher, learned a lot, but the class isn't easy by any means. Tests are the only grades you get, so if you do poorly on one it can ruin your grade. Formula sheets for tests are a big plus.

Professor Jasen is an awesome professor! The material isn't easy (especially for non-engineers/math majors) but she presents it in a very easy to understand manner. Difficult class, but she makes lectures interesting and fun! Awesome, sweet professor who is genuinely interested in helping you. Don't take her angelic looks for granted though, her tests are HARD! Professor Jasen is the best! Clear notes from the powerpoints with random inserts of pop culture- she used Jlo's breakup with M.A. as one of our examples. Only 3 tests, and a quiz grade. Don't be dumb and miss class! Class is easy. Buy the book because she'll give you direct pages to look at if you need help. She's awesome! take her!!

Love her! Since she's young, all of her example are relevant and most of the time funny. For tests you get to make formula sheet front and back of anything you want. Labs are usually super-easy too. Class is an easy A.

Took the honors section if this class. I struggled a bit but not because of Kelcey, she's a great teacher. You don't need to buy a textbook, everything comes from her lectures. She's incredibly helpful if you go to her office. She also makes a lot of funny pop culture references in her notes/quizzes/exams.

Very easy and fun! Kelcey is a really great teacher. She gives you fill-in-the-blank notes and uses pop culture (Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Katy Perry etc) in her examples. I'm taking her again for STA2014 because I enjoyed her class so much. Easy tests. Labs are easy, but her TAs don't know much so don't rely on them.

Very simple class, easy GPA booster. she posts a template for notes and its just fill in the blank. The labs are fairly easy but just ask the TA's to confirm your answer because its easy to lose points. 4 Tests and final is optional. Highly Recommend!!!

Class was very easy. We spent a week learning mode, median and range. Labs were extremely easy as some of them were done in groups. Tests were easy and simple. A notecard is allowed which helps even more. The outline print out notes is key to earning an easy A in the class.

She's very sweet, funny,helpful and explains the material very clear.HOWEVER, her exams AND quizzes are HARD.Don't underestimate her.Open notes for quizzes but you only get about 15 minutes to complete them.Sweet girl, but I'd take Schott over her.The way she words her exam questions can confuse you big time.

Kelsey stays very motivated to ensure he class does well. She's willing to adjust grades based on class test performance, and offers alternative options to work up your grade. Her quizzes and tests can be challenging, but always closely follow in class examples and homework problems. Keep up and you'll do fine.

OH MY Gosh!! I just took her class for summer C and i hate math. HATE but she really knows her stuff and will do anything to help you pass! Lots of quizzes, hw helps. Dont miss her classes and ask question and you will be fine! She helped me a lot this semester!!! TAKE HER especially if your not a math person. Wont regret!

I went into her class having failed stats twice before. finally passed after taking her. She teaches the way teachers should in 2012. Uses examples about things we can relate to very helpful and funny. Her test are average. Gives a quiz every class (GRADE BOOSTER) and a project so even if you are horrible at test you still have a shot at passing!

For Stats, I recommend her. I'm terrible with numbers, but she works with you in her office if you make an appointment. You are allowed a sheet of paper with homemade notes for the tests and they're 20 questions (pending on the time of your class). I finished with a C; though I blame myself, not her. She gives some easy EC opportunities as well.

She is hilarious and will keep your attention the entire class. She goes through everything step by step and will go over anything you didn't understand. I took her Statistics honors class and she is a great and very funny teacher! She's really helpful and tries her best to make sure students pass her class. She drops the lowest quiz grade which you can use your notes for and assigns online hw, both help boost your grade. Tests are reasonable and you can use a formula sheet. I recommend her!

Her teaching style, to me, is awful. Had a hard time following her. Don't bother buying the book because she records the homework problems online and doesn't even follow it with her notes. Labs were torturous and so pointless but mandatory.

I took this course (in Fall 2011) and it was pretty challenging. I am not a math or stats kind of person so I had to go into her office hours at least once every two weeks to work on word problems with her and practice before the tests. When she sees that you are trying to learn, she'll really help you. She was very helpful and very, very patient.

Homework is based on examples in class and very tedious, and test questions are usually the same as the exampleshomework with different numbers. Easy A. Study her modules, watch her videos, do her easy HW's n assignments, ask questions, she responds quickly, and STUDY!!! The only reason why I got a B on her class is because I could only study 2 days before each exam and didn't read her instructions that she clearly post weeks before the assignments are due. I wish I could marry her!

Awesome professor. Likes to explain concepts from a more intuitive standpoint rather than a mathematical standpoint, which most people will probably prefer. Let us use a 5" x 8" notecard (both sides) on tests, so if you review problems in the note packets, there is no reason not to get an A on all tests. Never opened textbook.
