I Absolutley looovveee this Professor. She is very helpful with assignments and understands that her class is not the most important one we are taking for the semester. She gives plenty of helpful hints for upcoming quizzes and exams and makes every class period the most enjoyable i have ever had in my whole college experience. I HIGHLY recommend:)

This class was awesome, I really enjoyed it. She is a wonderful professor. If you try, you'll do fine in her class. I pulled out a B and honestly didn't try very hard. She has unannounced writing assignments over your book, if you want to good on these you need to read, but its still not mandatory. Definitely recommended!!

Best professor in my entire college career! I've taken her for I know at least 5 or more classes. You learn so much from her classes and she's the reason I want to get into the field of Criminology. As far as the violent crime class, midterm and a final. They are both essay style but go to class and you will do great! I got an A!

Professor Christopher is the best professor in the CRIM department, because of her I now have changed my major to SOCI and my minor to CRIM. She grades fairly. Midterm and final are eassy. No attendance policy but it is helpful for the essay style questions because she hates minimalist.

Overall great professor!! Class total 200 points. One midterm and one final. Both essay style. Attendance not mandatory but those who come get more information for essay styled questions.

Best prof ever!.I have been to colleges in Nigeria,Canada,&USA.Thats more than half way across the earth globe,and all thru the Atlantic ocean.I would say this is the best prof that ever lived on earth. i took this class in 2010.If you cnt get at least a B in this class,you got real problems.

Great Professor !! i have taken a few classes with her and she is by far one of the best teachers i have ever encountered. her classes were so interesting and insightful i changed my major from psychology to criminology.

Love her. This class was an easy summer class. I think there were 8-10 assignments. She gave a topic and we wrote 1-2 pages about it. She's an easy grader as well, not obsessed with punctuation. Her lectures are great. She has THE best personality. Sometimes shows sick/gruesome videos in class and has great stories. By far my favorite professor.

Love her so much. Relatable and funny, tells how it is not what society says. Tests are easy (she gives you the answers). She takes 10 points off your final grade if you come in late, but no attendance policy. Really passionate and all around awesome. Take her and you will not regret it, if you make a B you just need to drop out of college.

I plan on taking her courses again. Extremely clear expectations, valuable feedback, excellent participation. Hard to find online teachers that can keep up with short term courses, and she excels. Respectful and positive. This is the professor to take if you are or want to remain excited in the field of sociology or criminology.

Love this professor! She is hilarious and very real. If profanity bothers you don't taker her because she does curse, but she's an amazing professor and passionate about criminology. She tells the class real life stories related to the topics and is really easy to pass, you just gotta be there for lectures which are never boring.

My favorite criminology at the school and really knows what she is teaching about. Makes the average college student actually want to go to class. The class discussions and opinions really makes you involved and makes you form your own ideas. Took her 3 times throughout college and would take her again anytime i had a chance to.

This is the second time I have had her as a professor, she is amazing and she knows it. I love her class and I love her. She basically hands you the exam and gives plenty of time to study. Her stories are hilarious and she is there for you when you need her. She will email you at 1:00 am lol, she helped me through a lot personally and school wise.

I took this class online, so I can't comment on what lectures are like in this class. However, Professor Christopher was very helpful and responds to emails pretty quickly. The workload in this class was moderately heavy, and the exam is tough. But overall, if you work hard and study, she'll give you an A.

Lectures are fun and interesting. She really tries to help students understand and relate material to current society. She shows videos to help that. The only complaint I have is her tear-out assignments are pretty difficult.

Best professor ever! She's very precise and clear on her expectations. She comes through on her part and she expects you to do the same as well. I love the fact that she relates her life to her students because she has once been where we are and she keeps it real. She does her job and go, no extras! You rock Kelley!

The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that she gave no powerpoints or anything to go by. She gave plenty of quizzes which were ok, I just wish she would have had power points or something. She is very passinate and honest. I loved taking her and hope to take her again. The only thing that I didn't enjoy was having to buy her book. You can't rent it because the worksheets in them are tunred in (which she grades harshly).Take notes because they will help on your tests. Show up to class because she may give extra credit. She is so funny! She gives GREAT feedback and awesome lectures. She is really helpful in class. Her tests are super easy if you just show up and take notes.

You only needed the books for tests and study guides are always given. However, we never talked about in depth was going on in the books so when study guides came around you didn't know what was on it. But test questions were taken from the end of each chapters. The final was super easy. Her directions are not specific.

I love Professor Christopher, seriously cannot say that enough. She is just an awesome person and professor. No bs type of attitude, but love it. I write a review every time I have her. She definitely deserves a 5.0 here!!

Professor Kelley has been one of my favorite ones, she is awesome and genuinely cares about all of her students. Even though attendance is not mandatory, you can easily make an A in her class if you come everyday and put in the work. She loves helping all of her students out and is great with office hours. She makes class fun & tells great stories!

An excellent online class to take, clear grading criteria regarding tests, and only three essays. Participation in discussion posts matter, so pay attention and do not skip them. I enjoyed the material greatly. She did not have too much of an online presence, but everything was graded promptly, and she responded to emails promptly as well.

Best class I have ever taken. She truly makes students WANT to come to class. She is absolutely hilarious. I laughed the entirety of the semester along with learning and acing the class. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Theres a medium level of homework, not a lot, but it helps with tests. Get study guide good bit in advance, sometimes they match test material, sometimes not, but thats what the textbooks for. Favorite teacher ever. Shes your teacher first, but she wont deny friendship as a whole which is a good trait because shes helpful and caring.

Professor Kelley is great! I took her as an incoming freshman course CRIM2000 and I am taken her for another course CRIM4280. She keep it real throughout all of her lectures. She makes you feel welcomed and makes all of her students comfortable with expressing their opinions. Little to no homework,3 test which are easy! Oh yeah come to class always

Professor KC was the BEST professor I have ever gotten the pleasure of having! She is genuinely kind and cares about her students. She responds quick to emails, and is very understanding when it comes to late-work. I would recommend her 1000 times over! Fingers-crossed I get her again for a few other CJUS classes!

She is very realistic, the only problem is that we are in two books throughout the majority of the semester and we don't really talk about the one that contains online quizzes (with access code). Her study guides are straight forward just study those and you should pass with at least a B

Hands down the BEST professor I've taken. Brings such good energy to the class and creates an atmosphere that makes me excited to go to class. There is a required book (w/ access code $100ish) with chapter quizzes so be prepared to read if you want to make good grades! Exams are easy and she gives extra credit for doing the study guides!

Professor Christopher is a nice and kind professor. This is the second time I have had her and this semester she seemed to be checked out compared to my last class with her. I think she is working on an academic project, so her focus was lacking this semester. Expect to read and write summaries after each section. She is also a slow grader.
