She is really easy. Easy in a way that does not mean, do not go to the class and get 'A's. Study at least an hout a day and you will be fine.Assignments, Tests, and everything else are reasonable and her class is enjoyable and avtice. She is young and understands us better.

She is young, but extremly understanding, kind, clear, knowledgable, active, reasonable, and HOT. Unlike most HCC's instructors, she consideres us as adults and you will be very comfortable in her class. Tests, assignments and etc are standard and easy upon spending an average effort. She is not easy, but extremly helpful.

Her lectures are realistic & interesting. She is nice & treats everyone equal. The essays are extremely easy, just answering about 15 questions instead of the traditional 400 or so words. She rocks.

Great Class! EVERYTHING you need for the course is online. Syllabus, Study guides, powerpoints, final project..its all there. just print it out, grab your textbook, and go. A lot of information is given, but if you take notes right on the power points and use the given study guides you'll ace the class. Attendance doesn't count. Excellent Class!

I had her my first sem. @ HCC and she made coming to class worth while. I missed an exam and still got a C+, bc her reviews are amazing. She is young and brilliant. If you have the chance to take her, DO IT!

There are 4 tests in her class, but u can drop the lowest score, 3 essays ( 3 questions on the essays, so u have to answer all the question and turn it to 3 paragraph)... very easy to do. She is also a fun teacher, her explanation are clear and helpful. Highly recomment for everyone...

LOVE Kelly. She is so cool and interesting and talks in a way that makes you understand everything she says. Really relates to the students. Also one of my easiest classes because she makes sure you know what you need to for the tests. All you have to do is study whats on the study guide and you will get an A. Highly recommended.

Kelly is a great teacher! She drops your lowest test score, so if you have done well on all of your test you can actually skip the last test. There is a short essay every test day. But they are pretty easy. If you look at the power point that she posts online all the answers are there. You don't really need the book since she makes a power point.

Extremely clear...no falling asleep here. Paper was easy summation of information from book & research article on self picked topic, 2-3 pages req, no spef.word req. Uses power points for lectures, easy to print & take notes right on. Drops lowest of 4 tests. Extremely, fair (& fast)grader & great personality...loves to use son & family as examps!

this is really one of the best teachers i have had at htis school. not only does shehave a sense of humor but she can relate her lectures to everyday life. she will give you examples and you never leave class confused. her paper was very simple she tells you her guidleines and as long as you follow them, its a simple A.

The only thing that I personally had trouble with was studying for the class because, she gave out a study guide for every test, but sometimes there was more on the test than what was on the study guide. Overall she's a great instructor. She gives lots of personal examples to help you understand the material.

She's an amazing teacher, but I never received a good grade on my journals no matter how hard I tried I always got something wrong even though my answers were out of the book, it was hard to understand what she wanted. You can't make up any missed worksheets done in class so it's best to just be in class. But overall she's a great teacher.

She is so far my favorite teacher at HCC, great personality, very funny and entertaining. Online quizzes may get little annoying, but she gives extra credit and her study guides for the mid&final exams are extremely helpful. Loved herr !

Her class is extremely fun she cracks so many jokes. It's not an easy A, but that is only because the material is too much. Take notes and study ahead of time and you should be fine. Again! it is not an easy A but its not impossible to get one. It is by far my most fun class this semester.

Only 2 in class tests (mid term & final) Online quizzes are easy with notes and your book. There are also 2 gordon rule essays but she makes them simple! TAKE HER , you'll love the class! If you miss, you will miss a clicker quiz and this could affect your grade at the end if your not careful. Do this and whatever little stuff she gives you. IF she gives you a final, look over her guide. KNOW THE POWERPOINTS. Best teacher.

She is absolutely outstanding. She took a little bit to grade everything but as long as you turn it all in you shouldn't even need to worry. All chapter tests are open book with a midterm and final that are not open book. Her class was honestly my favorite because it isn't like a regular college class, you get to learn a lot about yourself.

Dr. Kelley is by far the best teacher I've had! She's so funny (cusses a lot too), out-going, and helpful all the time. Participation and attendence ar important. Always bring your textbook as many assignments are from it. Expect powerpoints but nothing too long to bore you. Lectures are comprehensible, relatable, and clarified for you. Easy class!

The book is free online, the answers for the quiz and tests are right in the book so use the book to your advantage. she didnt give any type of lectures. she drops 2 quizes, a test, a reflection journal, and a discussion. The class was pretty easy and she was very active. Shes very sweet and karing, I wish I could have taken her in class.

Kelley has a very likable personality... shes a gem! Seven tests and six 500-1000 word essay assignments. No extra credit (you shouldn't need it) and no final exam! Show up to lecture regularly to get an A.

Kelley! She is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! Loves her job too. 12 quizzes, 4 unit tests, 3 reflection journals. She will drop 2 of your lowest quiz grades, 1 unit test, and makes your 3rd reflection journal optional if you got 100's in the first two. No final exam. Brownie points for super entertaining lectures. Makes me laugh till I cry. NO JOKE!

This class consisted of chapter tests and discussion boards. Make sure to follow the guidelines for the assignments and you'll do well. The material was interesting and the textbook is free. Do all 3 attempts for each of the quizzes, and use those to study for the unit tests.

This professor is amazing! I took the online version of her class. She gives great feedback after all the discussions and is responsive through email. You are graded on participation in a discussion and reply and have a test every week. This is the way online classes are supposed to be.

Professor Torregiante's class is pretty straight forward and all you really need to do is the quizzes and the test along with the discussions in order to pass the class with an A. I would definitely recommend!

Professor Torregiante is so awesome! She worked with me during my personal troubles and was a bit behind in my assignments. As long as you communicate with her, you'll survive. Assignments are usually a week apart. Discussions are straightforward, & make sure you're able to bring something to the table. Step out of your shell and you're set!

Easiest online class you can take at HCC. All of the quizzes, tests, and discussions are easy As. If you get anything lower than a A in this class you really didnt try at all.

Very interesting and easy class. The discussion prompts are very easy to write about. A lot of reading but if you read your chapters the quizzes will be very easy. Also no midterm nor final. She does unit tests instead. If you fail this class, then you didn't try. Loved this professor.

I took her online general psychology class. Best online class I have ever taken. There are 8 online discussions(3 responses for each discussion) , 15 quizzes, and 4 unit tests. No final. The discussion topics are very interesting. She gives extra credit assignments. I ended with 100.41%! The textbook has all the answers for the quizzes and tests.

Absolutely Amazing. Must participate in order to pass, very easy interactive discussions (3 responses in a week), No final exam! Easy A if you participate. no makeup is given but Drops 2 lowest discussions, quizzes, and 1 Unit Test (for those people who need to miss a few), very easy to pass tests if you know what I mean. Great class overall!

Torrigiante is great! She cares a lot about the material and is able to explain anything if you dont get it. She lectures a lot but thats every course. You wont regret taking her class!

I took her class online which uses an online book with weekly chapter readings and an open-book quiz for each, plus a total of 4 unit quizzes. There are discussions held usually every other week which require 3 different submissions that must be timely as stated for full credit. She is an attentive teacher and this is not a difficult class.

Great professor and great class! I think everyone should take this class, even if you aren't going for a psychology degree. The class really shows you things that will be beneficial for you throughout class. Overall will definitely recommended taking her.

I took Professor Torregiante for Intro to Psychology online and she is a great teacher! She is engaged with her students and has very clear course guidelines and grades. You can tell she is passionate about teaching Psychology in the way she keeps the discussions lively. Great teacher!

She is very nice and funny. Gives personal anecdotes which adds some insight into life outside of just school. Prepares you for the real world. I recommend everyone take this class because you learn how to properly communicate with people and learn to be self-aware and empathetic to yourself and others. She creates an inclusive atmosphere. Professor Torregiante has been one of my favorite professors I have taken at HCC. This class is super easy and if you do the work you will get a good grade. The assignments are more opinionated type assignments to where there is not a right or wrong answer and I really liked that. She really cares about her students and it is apparent!

Mrs. Kelley was good. The assignments she gives is all commentary. Theyre only 40 points each and its not even an essay it has to be 500-700 words. It doesnt get any easier than that. Shes very engaging with the class and I can tell she loves what she does.

She always gave back some kind of feedback on the assignments which was encouraging and helpful. Theres a weekly quiz with 3 attempts. Theres a couple papers which you can turn in up to a week late for small point deduction. The discussions are like any other discussion lol. No textbook as she gives us a link for the readings

Ms. Torregiante is an absolute pleasure. Took her online course and actually enjoyed it. Learned a lot and the writing topics are very interesting. This class is less about regurgitating information, and more about critical thinking with information to back discussions/papers. She is all about student success and gives frequent feedback.

She's is one of the best teachers I've ever had here at HCC. I took her for Fall of 2021, and she knows how to teach Leadership. You have to do a group project for the class, but you have the whole semester to do it. Her classes show you important skills for personal growth, communication, and job seeking skills. She also gives amazing feedback!

Professor Kelley is super awesome! To have her my first semester in college made everything worthwhile. Since I was in a class of 15 people, she took the opportunity to get to know us and took time to give helpful feedback on our assignments. The workload is super light and there are two presentations at the end of the semester.

I have taken Professor Torregiante before for another class and I am very glad I had her again! She is someone that wants to see you succeed. Her online Psychology class is very manageable. She drops your lowest two quizzes and lowest discussion grade. There was only one Gordon Rule essay too and it is graded very fairly. You won't regret it!

Great Professor, recommended for yall who want to do an online psychology class

This professor is probably the nicest one I've ever had. She gives good feedback on every assignment, has two extra credit opportunities, and takes criticism/feedback. Her discussion posts and reflections show that she genuinely cares about her students. Two quizzes, a discussion, and a reflection each week (6 weeks). No final or midterm.

She is one of my favorite professors, she is so sweet, and her lectures are so interesting and engaging. TAKE HER CLASS-trust me you won't regret it! She makes it so fun and it makes you want to be there not to mention that she is so funny. Definitely will take her again 100/10!

Professor Torregiante is such a caring professor. She provides feedback on assignments and will take feedback on how to make her class better. Various types of assignments make the class interesting and you won't get bored doing the assignments. The assignments aren't stressful at all and there are extra credit opportunities if you need them.
