No matter what you do, take Klutz for CJ100. She is by far the worst professor I've had here and now my GPA will suffer... She should be fired.

I was excited to take this course because I thought it would be interesting. However, we spent the entire first semester reviewing the basics of APA format. She doesnt take attendance but gives random assignments that you cannot make up if you miss the class. She grades rough drafts and the final papers extremely hard. Would not recommend!!

Professor Treadway was one of the worst writing teachers I've ever had she canceled class and would not respond to emails before paper were due. She is a very hard grader and will take off a lot of points for small mistakes even if you make them once. She is not accessible outside class and cancels office hours a lot. I would NOT TAKE.

Mrs. Treadway was kind of all over the place. There were inconsistencies in what qualified as the correct answer, across seemingly every question on each test. Every test review ended with half the class asking her why they didn't recieve credit for answers she said were acceptable. Took weeks to get grades back. Doesn't post slides.

Kellin is a okay professor. She's a very hard grader when it comes to our papers. She's inconsistent when it comes to grading papers. When we do workshops for papers the students only give each other feedback on our paper as if we know what she wants on the paper. She grades a copy of your rough draft for the paper and doesn't give you feedback.

under no circumstances should you take this professor unless you want to get graded harder on papers than a graduate level English class

Please save yourself the nightmare of dealing with Kellin Treadway! Very inconsistent exams which she is terrible at grading. Will make your class 10x more difficult than any other professor. She trys to make the class seem better with all of the extra credit but really all of it only totals to about 30/1000 points. Absolutely AVOID Treadway!

Do not take any of her classes if you do not have to. She is absolutely no help. She's very lazy and will simply tell you "check the syllabus" when the information you need is nowhere to be found. Easy class. Lazy, unmotivated, and simply miserable professor. Take it only if you have to.

Dropped the class after week 1, she told us we should expect to not do well on the first essay as we wouldn't know what to expect yet. There are muchhhhh better professors for this class and I should have listened to Rate My Professor!

I have never met a professor as unorganized as this woman. She overcomplicates EVERYTHING! Had her for an A/V class due to COVID and we met a total of 5 times the entire semester. All the work is busy work. I have learned NOTHING! I not only wasted my time but my money. Take this class with someone else if you can. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

She's a super harsh grader and puts a whole lot of weight on just a couple of papers. She's not very clear about what she's looking for until she's grading it and then she's super specific. Our GroupMe is constantly confused and if you get a poor grade on any one part of a paper, you're in danger of failing the class :/

I cannot stress this enough: Kellin Treadway is a horrible professor. I am the type of person that always gives professors the benefit of the doubt and assume that if someone does not like the professor it is because they are a bad student. That is not the case with Treadway. She is condescending and completely inaccessible outside of class.

This was by far the most disorganized class I have ever taken in my life. When I signed up for an online class, I was expecting zoom lectures not Discord? Incredibly confusing. Will say all the info she teaches is what is on the test. Mostly packback discussion questions + easy quizzes. Group project blows and is really confusing because it is APA.

this class is so easy, assignments every 3 or so weeks that take a couple hours, and you get multiple tries on quizzes and tests. packback is where I hate this prof. weekly posts to a discussion board, and one due with each assignment. her midterm grading doesn't include drops, and she doesn't explain the class in the beginning, just the syllabus

Awful professor!!! Hard to access outside of class. Uses multiple platforms of communication which gets confusing. I never knew what was going on in this class even though I attended every class meeting . Tests were harder than need be.

THE WORST PROF I HAVE HAD EVERRR!!! Sooooo unorganized. Does not care about her students. Very condescending! Do not expect to get in contact with her outside of class. Can not believe I payed so much money for a class that was done all through stupid Discord.

Treadway was not available ever. She never responded to questions, so we as a group had to figure everything out. There are multiple quizzes and exams with no clear answer.

Not a good professor at all. Her class is very unorganized and she is never clear with her instructions or due dates. Her lectures are not very engaging. I feel like I have not learned anything in this class.

As a senior, Treadway is top 3 worst professors I've had. If you want to learn, hate pointless busy work, and wasting class time- don't take her. She only communicates through GroupMe and didn't show up to class regularly. Her TA would "lead" the class. The most frustrating, pointless class i've taken. Was an easy A but take it with someone else.

treadway is nice but a horrible professor. she is unorganized and scattered. she changes assignments the week of, takes forever to grade, and does not give thorough feedback. 304 is one semester long lit review and she does not give any tips or guidance. she is so hard to get in touch with, triple books her advising appts and never answers emails.

This has to be the most unorganized professor ever. There is a semester long lit review that she has us do in parts and the way she has us turn in the paper is so dysfunctional. I submitted the paper 4 times and she said it was not received. Does not respond to emails. Does not discuss grades for some reason. Terrible class and terrible professor.

Will fail you if you miss more than 50% of classes. She doesn't like blackboard so she is using Teams for our class, which isn't awful but it's quite annoying to have to go between the two for my other classes. Class is basically a semester long lit review

The midterm assignment was that you needed to write the definitions for the key terms and questions in every chapter all by hand. After we turned in the assignment, we learned that our midterm grade was mostly based on attendance and class participation, not the pages of handwritten notes.

If you have a problem, do not email her or the TA's because they will never respond to you. If you are having a problem, you are on your own. If you miss more than 5 classes, you basically fail the class, which is ironic considering she never shows up, and the midterm/final is an absolutely ridiculous assignment.

Terrible advisor and professor. Never answers your emails and somehow finds a way to blame the students. Her TA's always do all the work for her and she has still at this moment not entered a single grade for any assignments this semester. One of the laziest and possibly worst professor the CJ department has to offer.

She cancels class literally all the time, which puts you at risk of failing if you miss more than 5 classes. She doesn't provide feedback in a timely manner at all, so you are left guessing if your paper is going in the right direction. The midterm/final is awful as well, you have to handwrite key terms and answer questions for 13 chapters.

She rarely holds class. Frankly, she never teaches. Students teach themselves through an assignment called "Lead a Lesson". We create a presentation and class activity to teach the class the lesson assigned to the group. She takes forever to grade, attendance is mandatory, and our only grades are Lead a Lesson, midterm, final, and attendance.

The lit review is basically one of the only grades from the whole semester and the way she does it is so confusing. She had me go to the writing center and went over my paper with me to give me failing grade overall. Do not take.

Ms. Treadway is by far the worst teacher I've had so far at UA and I'm a junior. She is a tough grader, attendance matters and if you miss 5 or more it's an automatic fail. She's also barely in class and cancels often, so make it make sense miss girl.
