It's difficult to rate Kelly's teaching ability given that class attendance for this course was not mandatory. However, I have interacted with her a number of times and she appears to be extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. She's very down to earth and seems like an overall great professor.

Kelly Swain is a great instructor for PC Essentials. No textbook is actually required in order to pass this course because all the work is done online using myitlab.com! However, I ended up getting a 62% as my final mark somehow. Furthermore, I would truly recommed taking her computer classes. Happy New Year everyone!

easy class as long as you do the work . just don't be late for the exam or she'll take off marks and i mean literally by 2 mins and she'll take off 10% , she's an on teacher , never went to any of her classes b/c it wasn't mandatory

I just want to say that Kelly is a great professor, I was 6 hours ahead and she always found a way to help me somehow. She is patient and fair and extremely helpful. I have done some online courses now and never has a teacher been so efficient in getting back to her students. Keep up the great work I hope I get another class with her.

She is really a great teacher. She crack jokes,make a student-friendly environment. she helps you in each and every section. if you have a chance to have a class with her, you are lucky.

All you have to do is attend class and complete the work (which a 5 year old could do) and you got yourself a A+. Kelly is always there to help and likes to joke around in class.

Attendance is not mandatory but I highly recommend going to classes. You'll learn a lot more by asking questions and getting the answers right away. Easy to score compared to other classes if you complete the assignments every week. Kelly is an awesome professor with great knowledge and she's very friendly.

Kelly Archibald is actually a professor willing to help and get you a good grade as long as you do the work that needs to be done. She's not a professor who will fail you, not give clear information, or not teach you she will teach you, give the exact information you are looking for and she is very understanding.

Kelly made this course to be a very positive experience for me as a 1st year business student. She didn't demand much and the course was mostly online driven. You will successfully ace her class with a 90 % if you do the weekly assigned work. She actually does in class assignments with the whole class which are very similar to the actual exam.

Shes always in class/lab if you have any questions and she'll show you exactly where you went wrong. She's funny - if you like dry sarcastic humor. Do all the work, especially the quizzes and online tutorials and you'll pass with at least an 80.

It is a jam packed course that is no fault of Kelly's, this is what the school requires. However, if you do the work, you will do well. It is demanding. Kelly will help those who ask and try. She is firm and there are no excuses. Just organize yourself so you don't have to repeat it. Don't wait until the end to finish your work or you won't.

The course itself is a lot of work. There is no avoiding that, however, Kelly is an amazing teacher. She REALLY knows her stuff! She is fun and approachable. If you attend open labs you will be just fine! If not, good luck! and you will be missing out on Kelly's welcoming and enjoyable labs.

Kelly is great. She tells you like it is at the start of the semester, do the work and it's an easy pass. She warns you to keep up with the weekly load and not leave the modules until the last minute, and it's all for your benefit. She truly does want you to do well but it's all in your hands. I really enjoyed this class and learned a lot from it.

Kelly motivated me. I dropped the course first semester but completed it for graduation. I was terrified because I am not computer savvy but she was encouraging. If you do your homework diligently, understanding the concepts will be much easier. A quick revision before each section's exams and you are good to go. Thank's Kelly for believing in me!

Despite all the feedback i've heard, I quite enjoyed Kelly's class. She was funny, easy to understand, assisted you if need be, and also allowed open labs to complete missed work, or get extra help. Plus she added bonus marks that help you keep organized. This class was my highest mark (94), and I really enjoyed it. I would take this class again.

Fashion 120 was my fear. I did not know much about computer when I started my program. I droped the course twice due to my fear of computer. After school ended April, Kelly adviced me to take this coures in the summer. Took her advice and started the class. Kelly was supportive, available outside of class,encouraging, caring and ready to help you.

She's an amazing teacher!!! if you have her then plzzzz take her ! you should be willing to put in the work, effort, time to pass this course or any course for that matter. NEVER SKIP HER CLASS or else you will be lost and will also lose the bonus attendance marks. I passed with a 94% in her class and i was never good at computers before.

This is hands down my favorite prof at Humber to date. I failed her class the first semester because I thought it was stupid and refused to do the work. I am currently working on my business plan and taking her class two years later and I dont think there is a more useful course in the Business School. Do the work and the marks will follow.

I came into this class being very uncomfortable with computers and I can honestly say that I've learned a lot. There's a good amount of homework every week but it isn't excessive, so as long as you stay on top of it you'll be fine. As for her personality, it really doesn't bother me. Her job is to give you an education not coddle you.

We had to take this class online due to COVID. I think it was easier this way. She posted Instructional Videos that show exactly what you need to do. You need to follow instructions perfectly though as the computer marks everything. Her lecture videos are all I watched and I passed with a great mark.

Kelly is a very detailed and thorough prof. Through online learning, her course was very comprehensive and helpful as she recorded all classes and had excellent demonstration videos which helped a lot. She does not require you to do home work assignments at a specific time but I urge you to do it at least a week before the exams,they are detailed.

Amazing teacher who teaches the best basics Microsoft Office software. Literally she is taking your hand and walking through with you the whole Office programs and teaches you how to use it more efficiently. Her classes are really fun and enjoyable, in her class there are no tests only assignment.
