Professor Barton truly saved me this semester. She is so kind and helpful and is willing to go above and beyond for her students.

She is literally the sweetest and most kindest teacher Ive ever had at Dutchess community college!! She is very easy to talk to and she really cares about her students! You will have a lot of fun in this class! Make sure to ask questions and be active and engaged with class discussions!

Professor Barton, is an AMAZING teacher . She is always asking how everyones day is, and really cares about her students . She is always there if you ever need help. Dont be afraid to ask. She is very funny as well. She has been very supportive towards me this semester. Highly recommend.

Professor Barton was the best professor Ive ever taken at DCC. She truly cares about her students and her work. Due to COVID-19, we had to switch to remote learning. While other professors added work and made the switch more complicated, Professor Barton made it easy and simple for her students to access work and to complete the semester.

Kelly Barton is an amazing Professor to have. I do recommend anyone to have her as your Professor. She is very understanding, caring, sweet and knows everything what she's talking about. I really do I hope I can have her again. She can really help, if you are going through anything.

Professor Barton made the class fun. She has great energy that keeps you engaged and interested in her class. Even through the COVID crisis she thoughtfully planned out ways to make the adjustment from classroom to online as easy on us as possible. She is dedicated, caring and is very down to earth. learned a lot about communicating.

Professor B was the best teacher I have had all semester! She is super caring and is willing to work with you if needed. You just have to be willing to participate and do the work given. If I could take the class again just for fun I definitely would.

She is amazing and really works with you and guides you in the right direction the entire time you work with her, there is a lot of communicating and group work but she makes it so much fun and so interesting even with the textbook material! Professor B has been just what I needed to succeed in this class. She's attentive and caring, and she understands human emotions very well! This course has been helpful in all situational aspects of life, but mostly, Professor B's guidance has been the greatest support!

Professor B is one of the best professors I've had. I took her class online and you need to show up for the class. She takes an interest in each student. Tests include everything in her lecture notes. If you want a professor who respects her students and wants them to succeed, this is the class to take.

I couldnt ask for a better Professor. She made my online class fun and easy to participate in. It was very important for her to remind us every week of deadlines coming up. She also put a lot of thought and preparation in planning for each class and reviewed work before every quiz and exam which helped me pass. I highly recommend this Professor

Professor B is absolutely wonderful. She genuinely cares about her students and their success. If you miss an assignment or quiz, she will open it back up and let you take it. However, late BlackBoard discussions really can't be accepted. All of her quizzes and exams are based primarily off of her chapter PowerPoints.

I thoroughly enjoyed Professor Barton's class, she made each class interesting and made sure to include every one in her discussions. She definitely wants everyone to be successful in her class and gives you all the necessary tools to do so. I hope I can take another class with Professor B soon.

If you have the option to, chose her. I have taken two of her classes and she's been nothing but a delight each time. She's a fair grader, understanding and she makes the time go by fast.

If I could recommend a professor to anyone, it would be Kelly Barton. She is engaged in class and cares about her students deeply. I took group dynamics and I didn't have a clue what I was getting myself into, however, it only took one class for me to feel welcomed and comfortable.

The BEST professor. Such a kind hearted and understanding person. she created such a safe and comfortable environment for each one of her students. She is very optimistic, motivating, enthusiastic, encouraging, and inspirational. I wish I could have her for every class that I need. I'm truly blessed to have gotten the opportunity to work with her.

Very knowledgeable, encouraging, and has great people skills. I can honestly say that I enjoyed the Zoom class every Monday. You can tell a lot of thought and care is put into how she conducts her classes to help simplify and give a realistic view of the Human Service field.

Professor B understands the struggles her students can go through. She is open to talking with students to help offer guidance for success. The interactions with the class as a whole was heartfelt. Students are able to discuss their opinions of the topic of discussion without judgment. I look forward to see her next semester.

Professor Barton has become my favorite teacher ever. She is so caring and understanding if you're going through a family situation or a personal issue. She made class so fun and positive, and makes sure you understand all the material and always answers any questions. One of the best professors ever, 10/10 recommend!

I attended Professors Barton class Wednesday evenings via zoom. She is such an awesome professor. Professor really cares about her students and wants them to succeed. she always stressed the importance of not being stressed in her class. I can not express how much I enjoyed this class. I was scared about it being online but she made the class so fun and interactive. The assignments were easy, no more than 1-2 a week. Very caring and understanding. She really puts in an effort to get to know all of her students which is amazing. 110% would take this again

Professor Barton was engaging and relaxed. She gave plenty of warning for any assignments due and was quite the cheerleader. She values each student individually and is by far the most personable and caring professor I have had yet at Dutchess Community College. Don't expect to hustle, just enjoy getting to know her and your fellow students.

This was not only an educational experience, but a moving one as well. I felt more connected in this online lecture than I have with any other college class. She really made it a positive and constructive environment. She always gives every lecture %110 percent and I feel that she is going to bring out alot of good in alot of peope.

Mrs. B was able to relate all the topics to real life situations. Her teaching style promoted a positive communication climate. We applied everything we learned to each stage of the group process in our classes. While I'm sadden that the course is ending, I'm pleased that I learned material that I can apply in my everyday life. Mrs. B is a natural.

Finishing up my second to last semester at Dutchess Community and I haven't had quite a fun experience like I had for group dynamics. She is amazing with her online courses. All -in- all, she is a really good professor and keeps the class comfortable, engaging and cares. I would recommend her as she's not too hard in grading. Participation is key!!

Mrs. B was an amazing professor!! I would 100% take her course again if I had the chance. She was such a breath of fresh air compared to other professors and always kept the classes fun and engaged, but still educational. There was some light reading needed, but it was easy reading. It felt like a breakup, leaving her class for the last time.
