I had her for English 101 and requested her for 102. She's funny and she teaches well. She truly loves what she does.

Very good Prof. Even if you don't love english you'll enjoy her class. You have to do good amount of reading but that is about the same for all eng 102 classes. She's fun!!!! not easy but I highly recomend it!!

Absolute best professor ever! She really cares about her students and you can see she loves what she does. Theres a fair amount of work and reading but she makes it very easy. She is extremely helpful and goes over everything so that you understand. Go to class and do the work and you will do great!

Prof. Bender is awesome. She is extremely entertaining. English is not the most fun subject, but she'll make you laugh with her jokes. She is always energetic and will put a smile on your face. She is fair in grading papers. She will even help you with your paper, all you have to do is tell her you need help. I definitely recommend her.

Prof Bender makes literature AND writing easy. She explains what she wants, shows you how to find it, and really gets into each story. I took her for a IW class and it was great! Highly recommended!!!

Professor Bender is a fun professor. The things she gives you to read are actually interesting. Her lectures do not ramble on like other professors. However, she does give many writing assignments but they don't seem long if you know a lot about the topic given to you. Other than that, you should pass with flying colors. She's pretty cool.

She is a great soul, makes class fun! She is so sweet and extremely organized. She is a pleasure to be around and she has a sense of humor. She is very helpful. I took her for both 101 and 102! Professor Bender is surprisingly athletic, but don't let that distract you from the fact that she does care about her students. She will seriously practice memorizing her students names and will learn everything about them rather then just students. She's big on saving the environment, but doesn't go into politics. If you're new to campus take her.

I took professor bender in-person and for an online creative writing class. She is very good at what she does and takes her work very seriously. She's very sweet and I really enjoyed her classes, especially the creative writing one. She is a very veryyyy tough grader and would never allow for extra credit so be careful!!

I'd take her class again!!! Attendance is mandatory to keep up with the class and at her flow. Essays and assignments will be pretty easy, she will help if you ask. 10/10 She helped me improve my writing skills.

Bender's course is pretty straight forward. Expect lots of writing but it's pretty simple. DONT USE AI, if she event thinks you are, you will fail automatically. She's a bit sarcastic but means well. I'd take her course again if I had to.

Professor Bender is quite literally the definition of a professor that loves her job. Extremely engaging with students. Grading wise, she will give a lot of feedback, which will help you A LOT. Make sure to complete all assignments on time. Mid semester she will do check ins to see what she can better help you on.
