The best stats prof I've had so far! She's super organized and explains everything very well. Shows examples in class using SAS and explains every part of the code, which is provided to you. Provides great feedback on the assignments. She's awesome.

Kelly is an amazing teacher. Very approachable, clear and available for extra assistance (I see her every week for assignment clarification and reconfirmation of learning). Assignments are due every week. No tests asides the midterm and the final exam. Attendance is definitely required if you want to pass this course, but it is not mandatory.

I switched from physics into geography, so stats was a little easier for me than the calculus i was used to, so you can ignore my "easiness" rating if you struggle with math. She allowed 1 cheatsheet front and back for the midterm, and 2 for the final which helped everyone I would think, and she was always available to talk to.

Assignments take for ever, but he she is smart enough to ease the tense. She is decent and accommodating. generally it is useful course but you have to work hard and you need to attend class.

Probably the best and most helpful Prof I have had at uOttawa so far. At some times she does overcomplicate a lot of simple ideas, but overall she's really easy to learn from. Test/Exam questions are worded super weirdly to throw you off but as long as you attend class and do practices q's you should be fine!

Honestly a really good professor - Stats can be complicated/boring at times but she does her best to stick to the basics and explains things well. Textbook is crucial for clarification and for practice questions. Assignments are an easy boost. Midterm and exam were both fair, but the wording can sometimes be tricky. Would recommend for sure!

Prof. Burkett is one of the best stats profs at uottawa! Though math stats is very hard, she does her best to give clear explanations for each topic, as well as lots of examples. Homeworks were very difficult however she grades very generously and usually grades only the easier questions. Tests were very fair. 10/10!

Most of Dr. Burkett's reviews call her boring, but she is really friendly in office hours. She cares about feedback and you can tell how much she cares about the course. Assignments are a great grade-booster, and the midterm was very fair. Exam was trickier, but doable. Make sure to use the textbook for practice -- class examples aren't sufficient.
