Best teacher I've ever had! Very organized and easy to understand. I am taking half semester class and she makes our 3 hour class go by quickly. If you pay attention and take good notes, you will do fine.

I had another teacher for accounting and made an F. The people making the negative comments obviously haven't had another teacher. Accounting is hard, but Mrs. Cranford explains it well and yes I do have a really good grade! Yeah!

Enjoyable class. She makes a difficult subject easy.

she teaches extremely straight forward, there is a lot of work required for her class but that would be for all accounting. GO to ALL classes, write everything she writes down on the smart board

You have to go to this class and take good notes. The book is no help.

Incredible lectures and excellent selections of homework problems. If you can do the homework and read the chapters you should make an A on the test. She is very organized, clear, and easy to understand. They should clone her for all classes.

Great teacher. You will have to study but, tests come from her lectures. Write down notes from the screen.

She won't GIVE you a grade. You have to earn it. She explains topics clearly and makes the class time fly by. She lets you drop your 2 lowest homework grades and your lowest exam score. More than fair!

Very Nice Teacher and loves to teach accounting. Not like the other ones who bring powerpoint presentations to class and blabber out from it. She teaches from scratch. Very nice and lovely. (beautiful) I am kinda flirty right now. but overall the best.

Great teaching method. If you take notes and studying them you will be prepared for the tests. She gives you more than enough chances to improve your grade. I wish she tought at UGA.

Explanation of the material is excellent. Hardly used the book. Not an easy class. Must be on time and do the homework.

Great teacher! Took another instructor and he didn't expain anything and would not answer questions in class. Her examples are clear and she is always willing to answer questions.

I took this class and had a 93 prior to the final. I dropped to an 89. She does what she says. She informed me full well prior to the final that she doesnt round at the end. She does it at each test. Go in, listen, and your going to be fine. If your not willing to commit effort dont bother.

She's a good Acct teacher. Very organized and speaks clearly. I highly recommend her, especially if your major is acct. Teaches good fundamentals.

I do not think her tests are difficult. I recomend her to anybody who are not very good at accounting.

Explaines very well. Tests are over principles not examples so you will need to know how to apply the knowledge not just spit it back out. Never miss a class. Much is explained simply in class but becomes hard to figure it out on your own.

She is really good at what she does. Her tests are easy if you study her notes she gives in class and she writes them step by step on the board. She is fun and really interesting to listen to. Her final exam is so easy everyone in our class made mostly A's and high B's. Take her for accounting 1 and 2 you won't regret it.

Does a good job of explaining. Study the notes and pay attention in class and there is no way that you can fail.

She's a great teacher for acct.Explains in detail and easy language.the online book and assigns got annoying but it helps once you get used to it. I recommend her above all other acct teachers.

Great teacher!!! I do not like ACCT too much, but she made it easy to complete this requirement. Her tests are great because you do not need to learn from the book, ONLY from her notes which are great!!! Can only recommend her!!!

She is a good and clarified teacher with all her tests and quizes. She gives and review before test, but her tests are not the same the study guides. They seem harder and trickier. Overall, she is good time wiser and a nice teacher becuase she gives extra credits.

Took for half semester summer class. If you do your homework (online through Wiley) and watch the videos then you should do fine. Very responsive and nice if you have any questions. There were around 12 chapters to read and 12 quizes, 3 tests, and a final. All were taken online, no testing center required.

I took her class online and it was the best online experience I have had. She was very understanding and helpful. I would definitely recommend her class. It did require some work but as long as you stay on schedule it won't be overwhelming.

She was very helpful but her tests were ridiculously hard when compared with homework.

Took online class in the summer. All due dates were given at the beginning, she answered email quickly, responses were clear & complete, overall great online experience. You must keep up with due dates, she doesn't accept late work. Homework counts like a test, so do all the homework. It's a gimme. Tests are tough but not impossible.

Taking accounting online is tough. Watch lectures and don't miss deadlines or you'll be in trouble. Course is organized and requirements are clear. Professor Cranford responded quickly to all emails and was a good teacher.

you do homework each week on wileyplus that is $100 dollars. Her schedule is not on the syllabus and she does quizes unannounced. Not only that but she checks on students constantly moving front and back of the class. And if you don't have the right word on there, it's wrong for w/e reason despite that the concept is the same.

Extremely nice, but she a CPA accountant, so she take accounting seriously as well. Homework, we had 2 random quizzes, four test including final. On the 3rd test, she told me there only 3 then suddenly added one more. I was upset, but then knowing then not. I would recommend her, but needs class layout with syllabus.

I took a Hybrid class with Prof. Cranford. She was TOTALLY AWESOME. it was her first attempt at a hybrid class so she was very lenient but she was super helpful if you asked and explained everything to make sure we understood it. TAKE HER!

Ms.Cranford is awesome! She teaches everything from scratch in an understandable way. If you do the homework, study, and pay attention in class, you can definitely get an A :)

I'm a bit ambivalent about her class. Accounting is a hard class, but she explains her lectures SO CLEARLY, it's when you get out of class and on to God forsaken WileyPlus is where it gets hard. She's a great teacher, her tests are pretty hard and the book is very wordy and hard to understand.

Online class was very organized. All assignments & due dates are posted on the calendar. Email replies are quicker than discussion board posts. No flexibility on due dates.

Its a difficult course. She never curved in our class, so your grade is your grade. She's a good teacher but her tests are extremely hard. Had to work my BUTT off to get a B. But if you really want to be good at accounting, then its better to cry now then cry later.

Awesome teacher! Willing to help if you come to class every day. At the end of the semester she'll curve your grade if you attend class, attempt exam reviews, and finish all homework on wiley. GO TO CLASS. tests based off lecture and homework--only had to read one chapter out of the book. really easy to understand.

Homework on book site, no practice assignment & not easy HW. HORRIBLE notes! make everything yourself. quiz after each HW, test after 3 or 4 quiz. grades homework on wileyplus. test and homework are not similar! make sure you know theory and applicationmath problems.

This teacher knows how to teach. Of course this class is tough but if you do all the work and homework and study outside of class there is no reason for you not to make a B or above in this class. This is no easy A class. This is accounting just remember this.

Super kind! Mrs. Cranford is definitely passionate about accounting and finds ways to relate her real world experience to the work we did in class. Accounting is not an easy class, but she provides the resources necessary to help you learn. Not as difficult as math classes, but you still need to put in some solid effort. Textbook is on wileyplus.

BEST professor (if you're willing to put in the work). I love accounting so much because of my experience in her class. She is a great lecturer and cares about her students. Going to office hours definitely helped me get an A when I was struggling. Her finals are INSANE and dropped me to a B (from A) but she will help you in that case.

I thought she was great. It's a pretty straightforward accounting course with homework in Wiley and a few tests. She's very good at lecturing and I never had trouble understanding anything she taught. Her tests are exactly what you'd expect from the study guides and HW. She's also a really likable person. Just a great professor all round.

I was scared when I read things like "demon," and "tests and homework aren't similar at all." That was not my experience AT ALL. Tests were the exact same as the class notes and the reviews she gave us. Lectures-- clear, pace-- easy, no Wiley+, and she's super nice. If you're of average intelligence it'll be an easy A. Go to class and you're fine.

Cranford was a great teacher and she really did make an effort to give as many resources needed to make sure her students do well in the class. Her study materials really helped me on the tests. Some of the material is difficult, but accounting is just a hard subject. SOMETIMES, though, the test and homework don't match up and it gets confusing.

Professor Cranford was a really good professor, she always responded to questions quickly. She gave a lot of extra-credit and set students to success.

Very kind, but class material is TOUGH. Her note-taking style can be confusing. The study guides for exams dont really help, and the homework is nothing like what's on the exams. I felt like I was going in mostly blind, which is bad when exams count for 60% of your grade (80 if you count the final). I think practice tests would have really helped.

Accounting is not an easy course but Professor Cranford breaks down the material in a way that makes it easier to understand. This class requires effort and the concepts will not magically be comprehended.... do the homework & adaptive practice exercises. These WILL prepare you for the quizes and tests.

Ms. Cranford's course was the most challenging one I took at GSU. The exams were extremely difficult and not very similar to our homework assignments, so I felt ill-prepared. Managed to barely scrape by. The professor herself is kind and wants you to succeed. I did not click well with her teaching style.

Great professor who really cares about all her students. She teaches the material great and is super clear. The course itself is hard, but that is not her fault. All her lectures are to the point without any nonsense. If you are required to take accounting, I would definitely recommend Mrs. Cranford.
