Great Command presence, knowledge of subject matter and excellant interpersonal skills.Very helpful and genuinely nice. She mixes lecture with video and does alot of powerpoint to keep it from getting boring. She also furnishes all the lecture notes online for you to download. I really loved that.

She is a wonderful teacher, she lectures are really interesting and her tests are really easy because she lets you know what you need to study for the tests. She also gives you many chances for extra credit and attendance is also worth 100 points and if you come to class every day then it will help raise your grade.

I LOVE THIS CLASS!!! Ms. Gould is a very helpful person and she gives a lot of extra credit for you to pass the class and to raise your grade up. I would take all the AJ classes with her again because she is the best. Ms.Gould ROCKS!!

Gould is an awesome teacher, if you read the book, and do the assigned work, I see no reason why you shouldn't get an A+ in this class. I did. She hands out a ton of extra credit, so boosting your grade is not something that is impossible to do. I HIGHLY recommend Professor Gould. She is a cool person but very scattered. she will say something will be on a test but then something else is on there...Attendence is mandatory because you get points taken off for absences. Lots of extra credit. EASY A!!!

OMG!!! spring of 09 was my first semester, but she was super cool. at the end of the semester you get like 50 points for your attendance. and its not like you wanna miss the class because she gives A LOT of notes, she basically spoon feeds the answers to the quizes... i loved her.... =D i totally think shes an awsome professor!

Gould is a good introduction to CJ. She has billions of great stories and videos. She does her best to ensure that you pass her class. If you show up every class and read the text, you should pass in a walk. Is she hot? Not bad for an over 40 gals. ;o) Her personality is her charm.

I FREAKN LOVE THIS TEACHER lol i took her over the summer it was an interesting class. lots of cool stories and movies. not that hard just have to read the chapters and take notes. She gives you some answers on the test and they only had 50 q's on them wasnt hard at all this class is a must.

this class is easy. all work is done online through D2L. There is 3 exams, 1 midterm, 1 final(which is all done online). and all homework assignments are submitted online, and its small, so its easy to complete. She has very interesting stories. Professor Gould is the best teacher at Sacramento City College and I employ everybody to take her classes. If you are majoring in AOJ it will be in your best interest to take her.

Best professor I have had a SCC. Her class is entertaining to say the least. She keeps it interesting and explains everything so it's crystal clear. She provides power points so you don't have to take notes if you don't want to. If you plan on going into law enforcement, take her class. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing teacher. She really knows her stuff. Had her for my first semester of taking ADMJ classes for all three of them and I loved her classes. She does easy teaching. Just take notes which you can also get from D2L and read for the quizzes which are also done on D2L and you'll pass with no problem.

Professor Gould is amazingly patient. I had a really difficult time during her course for personal reasons. Although she stayed clear on her expectations, she did so with kindness and humanity. I would definitely recommend her courses.

I can't say too much because this is the first class I've taken at SCC and my first online class ever… But the content was not difficult. She is clear on what you have to do and if you do exactly what she says, you should get an A. I would recommend this class. She seems like a passionate teacher.

Always attend class, it's easy points to receive at the end of the semester. No need for the book. I bought it and never used it and still had an A in the class. But make sure you do take notes, it's the answers to your quiz and test questions. All your tests and quizzes are all online.

My favorite professor. Had 300 word writing assignment due most weeks online. She'll give you a 10/10 if you have over 300 words. Quizzes every few chapters. Both the quizzes and writing assignments are done online. Her lectures are designed to help you on the test. Great stories about her own experiences in law enforcement.

Professor Gould is excellent, her lectures are interesting! Class goes by quick. There's a couple dropbox assignments (300 words each). 2 online quizzes (study guides). 1 midterm(same questions as quizzes) and online final exam(multiple choice and can use study guides). Do not miss more than 4 classes, you get points for attendance. Extra credit.

I was worried about taking an online class, but the assignments were super easy and actually interesting. I only say be prepared to read since it is online and there is no lecture so you should read each chapter, but about 50% of the questions on the quiz were common sense. Got 100% on every single assignment. Easy A!!

I wasn't sure about taking this online class. After all it was significantly easy, it did require you to read and complete discussions and Dropbox assignments. This class was a easy A. Stay on top of the assignments and do good on the Test, you'll pass no problem.

Take this Professor IF you can!! Very organized and on top of things, she gives great feedback too. Online class you'll have a paper(WC 400) due by Friday and a quiz every other week. You have to study to get a good grade on the test! Overall, this Professor ROCKS!!

Gould is the best ADMJ professor out there and you're lucky if you take her. She gives you a writing assignment every week and an online quiz every two weeks. She makes the class interesting and tells us stories about her experience. She also shows us videos to better understand the chapter.

KG is awesome. I took her 300, 302, and 304 classes. I learned a lot from her. All my classes were online, I got an A in all 3 of them. They are super easy, you just have to do the assignments the way she tells you to and you'll pass. 1 300 word paper and a group discussion 200 words each week. You'll easily pass her tests as you'll have the book.

Really caring and engages a lot with her students. The class was a bit homework heavy which is understandable considering it was all online. The textbook, which was on Pearson Revel, was easily accessible and not difficult to maneuver. Will be taking her again next semester for 302!

Not only is she an easy grader but her papers and tests are very straight forward and come from the readings listed which are not difficult at all. Online classes obviously make you participate so not only reading and doing your assignments but also doing the discussions which are 200 words minimum I believe which is not hard.

Professor Gould is a real gem. She puts a lot of effort into her online class. She is always there to respond to any questions you may have and gives topics that you personally reflect on. The only thing that was remotely difficult was the online book she uses. The book was slightly boring, but informative. Def take her!

Had her for online class, and even thought it was online, we all were very engaged with discussions and actually lectures. Just do the work, read and you will do fine on the quizzes and tests. She is very straight forward, and has a great background in criminal justice.

Open to feedback, suggestions, and opinions or ideas. Always available and her reponses are fairly quick. Do your reading, participate in the discussions, and take the quiz, you'll pass with flying colors. No burden at all; just manage your time properly. I was her best student last semester because I contributed way more than she required!

Such an easy summer class, no final, mid term or extra quizzes. You just reply to two discussion boards write two 500 word papers and take quizzes in online book. SUPER EASY AND FUN!

If Professors could do what KG does, then college would be way easier. She doesn't give any tests on paper because she "doesn't like them." Her lectures are part of the notes and they are easy to understand. Her personal experience is very interesting and it ties into what we are talking about. I would take this class again if I could.

I took her for an online class and I have to say she is a great professor. There is lots of work but it's at your own pace. She is open to help students and a great class ! I totally recommend this class

I took her online course over the summer,so I had to do double the work. Her class is very structured. There is no midterm or final. You have to buy the online Pearson book, which was about $75 for me. There is a class discussion post every week, a (500 word) paper, and the online textbook reading. She is a fast grader and is accessible.

I loved being in her class. It is easy if you do the work. Each week, there's a discussion (300 WC), paper (500 WC), and some reading. In the textbook, each chapter has a 2 questions quiz, and at the end, there's a 20 questions test, which is very easy if you read. She's a great and organized professor. I can't say anything bad about her.

Online Asynchronous - Wonderful and respectful. Used Pearson Revel to do homework assignments/quizzes. Very easy and straightforward. 1 discussion a week along with a few Chapter sections (mini quizzes each section). Papers are bi-weekly. Put in the work, easy A :).

This intro class to ADMJ was soooo easy. You only have one online textbook that you take quizzes and notes on, a paper that is due bi-weekly min of 500 words, a weekly discussion, a minimum of 300 words, and 2 classmate replies. She offers loads of Extra credit every Thursday. Definitely recommend this professor for any ADMJ classes.

An amazing professor! I took her eight-week course. The class was very easy to navigate and not confusing. She is a fast and clear grader as well. I enjoyed the class and learned a lot. 2 discussion boards a week (300 words each) 1 paper a week (500 words) 1 or 2 small quizzes a week. No midterm or final.

The mini quizzes you take throughout the semester will make up about 70% of your grade (they are very easy). There was supposed to be a 500-word paper every week, but she reduced it to only three for the entire semester. Tons of extra credit opportunities and there is no final as well.

This class was my favorite! As long as you keep up with your assignments you are sure to pass the class. We only had to write three papers (500 words minimum) and had no final. KG is amazing, hilarious, and understanding. I 100% recommend taking this class!

I took the asynchronous course and she always made it very clear what she expected of us each week. Textbook reading, mini quizzes, a discussion post, and a 500-word minimum essay every other week. It sounds like a lot, but it was pretty easy to keep up with. As long as you keep up with your assignments, passing this class should be a breeze.
