Aftewr Stats I, I was a little afraid to take Stats II, especially in the summer. I am glad I did. Stats II was cake and it all had to do with the teacher. Tests were easy, open book. No homework and we always got out early. She Rocks!

She's a great professor, espcially for the math impaired. It was more than it to take an evening class.

Prof. Jackson is very helpful and nice. I was really worried about taking stats (dreading it) and I actually LIKE it. She is very patient. She gives a lot of HW but doesn't collect it. Makes things very clear.

Prof. Jackson is great about proving HOW math works. You don't just get formulas in this class. She tells you the why.

Awesome Awesome teacher! Easy to understand and really works with you! I hate math but she helped me understand everything! Got A's in both her Stats and Algebra classes! Only A's I ever got in any math class! TAKE HER!

Prof Jackson is one of the best teachers I have had. NOt only is she extremely bright, but she brings real life applications to the subject matter, keeping it interesting. I am sure Stat can be a boring subject, but NOT with her enthusiasm and knowledge!

Stats 1. She is very easy, and takes the course slowly and step by step theres no way you can't pass her class, she will also give you any extra time and help that she can give. She was an awesome professor and ITS A EASY A

for everyone out there who hates math and can't do it to save your life Kelly Jackson is the professor for you. She will take any amount of time to explain something to you and if you still don't get it she will sit with you in her office. I highly highly recommend her! She's fantastic!

Kelly is a really good teacher. She takes time to answer any of your questions. Even when half her class walks out on a sub, she'll still help you understand the lesson.

She is a great teacher! I never thought I would understand statistics, but she really breaks it down for you. She puts effort into making sure that everyone understands the lesson before moving on.

The class is easy enough. If you are confused with something, don't be afraid to raise your hand and ask; she always makes sure to explain thoroughly and will do her best to help you understand! There's a lot of bookwork for homework; be prepared for that. As long as you do the (not mandatory!) homework she assigns, you'll do well on the tests.

i took her this summer for math for liberal arts majors. she was great. if you suck at math you should take this class. there is no way you will get lower than a B. she makes math easy!

She made Stat II soooo easy!! TAKE HER IF YOU CAN. She doesn't just give out grades.. but it's almost like she does because you actually understand everything that she's teaching. She won't freak out if you miss class, but it's better to go anyway. She works with students and wants them to do well. Show a little effort and you'll do great.

She is an awesome teacher. She takes everything step by step and is very clear. She doesn't put pressure on you like some of these other professors. Always willing to help u and wants to make sure u understand the material instead of just breezing right through. She allows you to make your decision on whether you need to do the hw or not. I understood statistics after taking her class. Even though the subject matter is difficult she made it easy to understand. She also offers extra credit do not take any other teacher for stat. She cancels class to go to phillies games every so often haha

If you pay attention its pretty simple. Explains things very well. Aced first test and didnt take any other test (came once a week)till final.got a C. Also a PHILS fan, gotta love that! Great professor

For the summer elementary algebra review course make sure you bring your book everyday. She teaches you how to do the problems and then gives you the rest of the time to finish the work. Doesn't check work but I'd do it so you don't need to take a semester of it.

I am terrible at math and she makes everything very clear and understandable. When she's done teaching lessons I feel confident about how to do the work. Very helpful, and cares that you understand the lessons. I will definitely try to have her again for the next math class.

Professor Jackson is by far the best math teacher that I have ever had. Math has always given me a lot of stress and anxiety. I usually do well in it but have to work a lot harder to get A's in math then all my other subjects. I was never nervous taking a test in that class. She explained math in a way that made it fun and simple!!

This teacher let's you know from the start if you do your homework and study the handout sheets you will do fine. She gives you the opportunity. to pull up test grades by retaking the test with the lowest score.

I returned to college after a 25 year break and needed Stats - ugh! This professor was AMAZING because I managed to get a A - she explained things so that you actually UNDERSTOOD the concepts and made the class enjoyable with a sense of humor, too. WONDERFUL. She was so nice, so understanding, and if you didn't understand something she would go through it with you step by step until you get it 100%. The best math teacher CCC has to offer. Just show up to class, actually listen to what she has to say, and put in the effort. She will help you with anything you need and the practice quizzes are very helpful as well! Didn't have to take the final since I aced all three tests. Can't say enough good things about Professor Jackson :-)

Far and away the best math teacher I've had. Took a five week Summer class, had to work hard but definitely mastered the concepts she taught. Really prepared me well for the next level. Tests are straight to the point, extremely helpful professor. Would take again in a heartbeat!

Professor Kelly was a great teaching Stats II. She made things practical for us to understand. Although it was an evening class, time seemed to move quickly. I highly recommend her for Stat classes!

Professor Kelly Jackson is probably the best Math teacher I have ever taken! Tests are pretty easy because she always does the review day a week before (NEVER SKIP REVIEW DAY!!! and you will pass it). Stats 2 will have 5 easy projects, Stats 1 have no project but had to bought statslab. Overall, Really recommend her! TAKE HER WHILE SHE'S AVAILABLE!

Professor Jackson was absolutely amazing. I was nervous about taking Stats, but she made the class not scary at all. If you are looking for a professor who is clear to the point, and really wants you to succeed, take professor Jackson. Online stat lab replaces lowest test grade, you get one take home test as well. Extra credit offered.

Prof. Jackson was a great teacher. She is clear and concise with her lectures. Attendance is not mandatory, but if you are not there you will have trouble catching up on your own or trying to teach yourself the material. Her exams come straight from her lectures and she teaches important content. if you pay attention you can't fail her class.

Kelly is the best Math Professor I ever had. She made lectures bearable and was easy to understand. This was my third time take stats but the first time I truly understood what I was doing. You don't need to buy the textbook, everything is pretty much taken from her website. I didn't purchase the textbook and still got an A. Highly recommend.

Dr. Jackson streamlines the learning experience. She teaches what's important and cuts the useless stuff. Very personable & approachable, makes learning easy and enjoyable. Exams are easy if you follow the lecture material, if you understand her mini-quizzes and reviews. Two in class exams, one take home, plus final. My Math LAB is extra credit!!!

Professor Jackson can be rough (she snapped "just wait!" when a student asked a question). She also takes forever posting final grades. With that said, she's the best college level math professor at CCC. She wants to help students succeed. She's always available during office hours and even had an extra final exam review. Prof. Jackson is amazing. She goes over one topic each class meeting. She teaches you exactly what you need to know, and tosses any extraneous information. She assigns a small assignment each night (completed in class), and projects every week during the second half of the semester. There are only two exams. Went at a good pace for a night class.

She only teaches what you need for the test, so the class isn't overwhelming. Lectures are straightforward and easy to understand. She's always available for extra help and offers extra credit

Professor Jackson cares about her students and wants you to succeed. Be sure to listen in class. Make sure to do all the homework and ask her any questions you may have in class. There are many different math equations and different ways to work the calc so be sure to attend every class so you don't miss any steps! Study her handouts!

Excellent teacher for learning materials hand on

I took statistics with another teacher over the summer and had to drop the class because it was too fast paced and incredibly boring. Professor Jackson makes stats interesting enough to want to pay attention. I like her teaching style, she gives you all the tools you need but I just wish she would spend more time reviewing the problems.

Take her for STAT. All her exam questions are in the quizzes. You have 2 easy 100s (online HW and a take home test) and you can get and about 20 points of extra credit. If you have a problem with the material she will go over it. Just ask. Oh and she responds to her email within minutes. Take her!

Literally the best math professor at CCC. Lectures are very straightforward and clear. Take her while she's available!! Wished she taught applied calc, because there isn't another professor that would come close to her.

The online class uses a program that paces independent learners well enough. The on-campus final, which determines if you pass or fail the class, didn't have any surprises, and was graded on the spot upon completion. Very kind professor, helpful and patient, and wants students to succeed. Responds promptly and courteously to e-mails.

She is the BEST math teacher in the school. She is clear and always straight to the point. Go to class, listen, and pass. It really is that simple. She has a ton of office hours. Take her if you love OR hate Math. She will make learning painless.

Prof Jackson is a really great prof. She knows exactly what she's talking about. Your grade is solely based off your tests and final exam, but she does drop the lowest test grade. She's a little impatient at times so pay attention when she talks. The class is tough but she's a great teacher.

The way this class is taught she makes it easy to understand, so I'd definately would recommend coming to class, you don't really need the book but the online homework really helped prepare for each exam. As far as teaching , she is very easy going , a little impatient at times, but worth taking the class, easy easy A.

Professor Jackson is great, I've had her 3 times now! She makes what your learning simpler and really just walks you through it. She gives you homework problems on mymathlab so you do need the access code, but you don't need the physical textbook unless you'd prefer that. Her exams are easy because she doesn't put any "trick" questions on them.

I had Jackson over the summer for Stats II and it was better than taking Stats !I during the full spring semester. Jackson made everything easy to understand. Of course it was a summer class so skipping wasn't an option. Couple projects and some tests but overall I'd deff recommend.

Her styling of teaching is so effective that even for someone like me whose always been a consistent "C-average" student I was able to pass her class with an A. Here's a few things to keep in mind: - DON'T SKIP CLASS!! - Take good notes - Keep up with the HW If you follow these steps you should be good.

Prof. Jackson is the BEST! I took MTH-100 during summer session. The class is very intense, but she makes goes smooth. She has resources online, you take a quiz as group, and if you arent sure with the answer, she will go over step by-step. Very clear and very well presented material. Every test there is option for extra credit too. Awesome !

Prof. Jackson is the best. took the MTH-100 in the 5 week summer session, was very fast paced and a lot of material but Jackson streamlines the whole course. through explanations, plenty of example problems & sample tests, very direct and to the point. Do the mymathlab homework, replaces your lowest test grade during the semester.

I have taken many online courses at CCC, but this was my first online math course. Professor Jackson was excellent. Wants to see you pass and do well, but you do have to do the online work. She responds to emails in seconds (yes. seconds). I would highly recommend to anyone.

Professor Jackson is amazing. She lets you use notes on her test and gives you plenty of opportunity to keep your grade high in her class. She has to be the GOAT of math professors here at CCC. I would strongly take her again if I could but I graduate this semester! If you see her class, REGISTER ASAP.

Best math professor at CCC. She breaks down difficult equations and concepts step-by-step. I strongly advise you to do MyMathLab because you will have your lowest test grade dropped if you do so. A lot of extra credit is also a plus in Professor Jacksons class!

Took her for intro to stat very easy class. Made the lectures very simple and clear. The only homework was on MyMathLab but it was optional! She drops your lowest exam and replaced it with your homework grade if you choose to do the homework Very good professor, would take again

Kelly Jackson is the best math teacher I've ever had. I took intro to stats with her and for someone who does not understand math AT ALL, she made it so simple and I got an A. 10/10 would recommend.

Best Teacher at CCC ! Maybe impossible to fail, pay attention, ask questions. Extra credit available, drops lowest grade. You have you final grade with in minutes of turning in you final, before you walk out the door. Would take her again in a second.

Professor Jackson is really nice teacher and I definitely recommend her if you are weak or scared of Stat. I had her class traditional but because of corona virus we shifted to online. You get three extra credit which is to make donations. You are allowed to drop one test and even the finals is not mandatory. Definitely recommend her.

I thought this course would be pretty hard, but it was actually really easy! Study-guides are exactly like the tests - just different numbers. No homework was due or collected, but you can replace MyMathLab with the final. Attend class, do your work, ask questions when necessary, and you'll pass! She is very caring and great at teaching!

I took this class online for summer during COVID-19. Her video lectures are short and sweet. She also goes through the process of solving problems and using the calculator on the study guides in the videos. The study guides are essentially the tests but different numbers. Wonderful & helpful professor! Put in the work and you're golden!

The first time I took STATS it was a hybrid class, I received a D. It was horrible. I took Kelly Jackson this summer IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC and got an A!!!!! She is nothing short than amazing If this doesnt explain why you SHOULD take her I dont know what else will.

I took this class online while we were dealing with COVID-19. She did video lectures on YouTube, which was a great help. She thoroughly went through problems so you could understand. She was prompt in answering any questions you had and gave explicit study guides that were extremely useful for test. She is an awesome teacher!

This course was online during COVID and the layout of her course in Canvas could not have been easier to navigate. There were 2 assignments due every 2 weeks, so 12 total. The worst grade in each category (homework and tests) were dropped, AND there were 2 chances for extra credit. Can't say enough good about her & her course!

When I found out this course was online due to COVID I was nervous because statistics can be hard. Professor Jackson is one of the best professors at CCC. She provided lecture notes and YouTube videos that explained the problems step by step , making them easy to understand. She responds quickly to emails . She is awesome!!! Highly recommend !!

Had Professor Jackson for Stats II online. She is one of the best professors Ive ever had. She had a weekly zoom scheduled (attendance not mandatory). She also would zoom 1on1 if you couldnt attend. Homework assignments were very easy and she graded assignments very fast. Emails were answered so fast. No complaints, very east A!

Professor Jackson is the best! I was worried coming into this class because I am not very good at math and I was scared to take calculus. But she is an amazing teacher and cares about her students. Tests are just like study guides. She drops the lowest test grade out of 5 so if you do good on the 4 unit tests you don't have to take the final.

I could go on and on about Professor Jackson. She’s just the best! I had her for Applied Calc which was pretty intimidating for me but it went so well. As with any math course you have to put in the work but she is the most accessible teacher I’ve ever had. The course of the class couldn’t be more clear and we all grasped Calculus!

Had Prof Jackson for an online Summer course and took her again for another math course the following Fall that was in-person. Provides material to take notes in class that greatly helps in understanding the lessons. Great, structured layout to class and she will gladly provide extra help if you need it.

This was an online class and as long as you did your work on the date due, you should have no problems. She was very helpful in the beginning when the system wasn't loaded with my work course, she knew what to do. And she responds to emails quick

professor Jackson taught this class online well. She has videos that show you the steps on how to solve each problem which helped a lot. If you do well on all 3 exams you also don't have to take the final. I would absolutely take her if she's an option.

Professor Jackson's lectures were very helpful, she gave out packets, and she went step by step with the math questions. There's homework on ALEKS, extra credit, and 3 tests. If a student doesn't do good on the last test or the other two, then there is one more final exam they can do. I recommend taking her and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Easy and straight forward. Do the work and double check answers and its basically a guaranteed good grade. While there's a lot of homework its an easy grade booster. Only 4 of 5 exams counted and taken by best grades. Offers easy extra credit through school donation. Easy to earn an A or A+

Kelly is amazing. She is very clear with assignment load, and she explains everything in a way you can understand. As long as you study the sheets, she has prepared for you and practice you will pass. Her test is set up like the study guides. I highly recommend her.

What I liked about Dr. Jackson was the amount of material she provided. She gives you the notes and an annotated version. She has YouTube videos and she is available outside of class. This was my 3rd time taking statistics. The first 2 times was at RCBC. I related to Dr. Jackson's teaching more.

Kelly Jackson saved my life. You're graded on 12 things total, quizzes have multiple attempts and the final is completely optional. This was the fastest course of my life trust me your mental will be so much better off if you take her, no stress whatsoever.

Professor Jackson provides helpful videos and practice problems! I used the book a few times to reinforce concepts and explore different ways of explaining topics, but I didn't use it very often. She was quick to respond to questions, and her love of math is evident. Ensure you understand the concepts and leverage problem sets. Highly recommend!
