The lectures were confusing, but the material was very hard so that was to be expected. He really cares about his students and wants to see them succeed. But, you MUST do the work in order to pass this class; that is just how physics is!

funny teacher, but dont get on his bad side. Doesnt teach much but he has a good way of teaching what he does teach. Expect to learn a lot of the material on your own.

he teaches as best as he can not his fault that some people just dont get it. he makes you work for what you get and he doesnt bulls**t and he is hot tempered. he is a very good teacher i had him for one class and had him again for another class deliberately.if you really want to learn,i reccomend

What a teacher should be,,,clear great notes, lets you use a 3x5 card for tests, offers Extra Credit. Knows what he is talking about and can convey it so you don't feel like an idiot. Just be on time and SHUT OFF your CELL PHONES. I would recommend him if you need a science w/lab. QT too!

Dr.PAge is a pretty cool guy. His jokes are funny because its corny. He's pretty down to earth, just dont chit chat in class.

It was a tough class but he made it fun and interesting. We watched Futurama one day to help us understand a concept we were studying.

he got short-temper but he can explain the material really well if you go outside the class and ask for help.. He doesn't give out extra credit and toughest teacher ever..avoid taking him for PHY121..I end up getting Z in the class that will show you that he is not a great teacher.!!!

His personality will turn many students off, but that is something you have to get used to in his class. He treats people like adults. He doesn't like to answer stupid questions. He gives out a lot of homework. In general, his tests are not as difficult as the homework. I recommend him. He knows what he is talking about.

I really enjoy being in his class. He makes the subject interesting. He's very quirky and funny. Never get on his bad side by being late to class or handing in work late. If you ask him questions in class, he might make fun of you. Go see him in his office if you need extra help. Oh, and make sure you know your algebra and trig.

Tests are difficult if you do not pay attention in class. Prof makes it clear when something is important. Teacher easily misunderstood for strict prof. Dr. Page is one of the smartest people I have ever met. He has a over the top personality but is very cool. The material is difficult and he explains everything well, and is very approachable if something is not clear. Seek him out in his office or at tutors. It will help your grade. I hated physics but Dr Page made it fun. Good instructor.

He is one of the few teachers that can make class interesting. Though homework takes lots of time, his quizzes were easy. If you understand the concept properly then his exams would be easy. Extremely helpful and always available during office hours. Extremely easy grader. Take him, it would be a pleasure to have a instructor like him.

You only use the book for the homework problems, but do them BEFORE you take the quizzes and you will rock! Dr. Page does a great job of explaining everything in class. He is funny and sarcastic. Has the tendency to over explain, but don't take it personally, some people really need it! Great teacher though!

This was THE most interesting class that I've taken. Dr Page, as others have stated has a good sense of humor and can be sarcastic (not in a bad way). There was a lot of homework and if you keep up with it, the class and exams will be much easier! He provides thorough explainations and is extremely fair when it comes to grading. Awesome Professor!

He was the best professor I've had at Harper. Very intelligent and has a great sense of humor. He made astronomy very interesting. He also makes references to a lot of nerdy sci-fi shows in class and on the tests, which made me happy.

If you can't figure it out there, then ask him out of class or go to the tutoring center. He's a tough teacher, but very fair. If you are looking for an easy class. Not here.

Dr. Page is one of the best professor that I have had so far. Lectures are extremely informative and interesting, he is always willing to answer students' questions. He collects homework from time to time. If one can do the homework then the tests are doable. He always try to answer the questions outside the scope of the class.

Dr Page was awesome, I really enjoyed having him. He tries really hard to get the class involved in the discussions which helps make everyone feel comfortable. He's pretty funny, he likes Uranus jokes. As long as you study and pay attention, you'll definitely get a high grade.

Do not listen to the negative feedback. Obviously this is one of the big boy classes so you gotta step up. He's more than willing to help you out if you're having trouble. Page does his job very well. Because of this amazing man, I know find myself looking up at the sky almost every nigh. He is fun and is always trying to answer any questions his students has. He makes an effort to memorize your name which makes you feel more at ease. He responds to emails quickly and lets you bring a page of notes for each test.

He is a great teacher, obviously interested in his subject. Book work is mandatory but if you miss a day you'll survive just make sure to take advantage of the extra credit. It's a fun class with lots of activities.

Would HIGHLY recommend. If you work hard & engage in class, you will ace the class no problem. I will say that it is obvious that he doesn't like students that are slackers. But, if you're trying your best, he is more than happy to help you. His lectures are great and he is clear with what he expects. He did extra review sessions for the final.

HILARIOUS and HELPFUL! Loves to use his PhD for Uranus jokes. Always ask for help bc it involves light math. He uses the book for lab exercises, BUT he has EXTRAS!! & he has extra star/planet locators so don't buy it. MUST buy HW online code. The exams are based on what is practiced during lab/lecture. Read the PPTs, pay attn to the math in lab!

Easy A if you pay attention in lab. Such a fun and kind guy! Only thing you have to buy is the online code for HW, but you can often Google the answers. Grading system is clear. He collects lab exercise WS from the workbook. He provides copies if you don't own the book. Super awesome professor, LOVED him! He even got us cookies for finals. TAKE HIM

Dr. Page is hilarious. I hate science such as Bio, Chem and Physics but Dr. Page got me interested in Astronomy. He makes the lectures funny just pay attention and you'll do just fine. Cheat sheet for every exam and now i find myself looking at the stars 24/7. TAKE PAGE! You wont regret it! Would absolutely take another one of his classes.

Kelly is an amazing teacher! He is very nice, eager to help and willing to spend lots of time working with students outside of class. He is funny, makes his lectures interesting ,and explains difficult concepts in a manner that's easy to understand. Class is an easy A if you understand the homework. You could not ask for a better teacher than this

Honestly my favorite teacher, he is so kind and caring and loves what he does. easy class to pass, if you put minimal effort, he gives a lot of extra credit opportunities, he makes coming to class enjoyable. very caring HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Attendance is mandatory if only due to content difficulty and in-class exercises. I've only heard good things about all his other classes too!

I had a wonderful time in Dr. Page's class. I learned so much from his lectures and I didn't think his tests or homework assignments were too difficult. I took this class online and over the summer so keep that in mind, however Dr. Page was an excellent teacher that taught well given the circumstances. There is a lot of busy work but the tests weren't bad and very similar to the homework. He rambles a bit but other than that a great professor and highly recommend

I really enjoyed taking Professor Page's class. He is very knowledgeable and makes sure that his students understand the material. I was tired of science because of the high school courses classes I had taken previously, but the content is so interesting in his class. He is also very understanding and personable.

Professor Page was a good professor. He did well teaching the course material in lecture. He pushed back due dates if he felt it was fair and he was open for questions. The class did have assignments due throughout the week that you had to be on top of and the tests, which were taken in a lockdown browser, can be a bit hard. Overall Good Professor.

Dr. Page is one of the most straightforward professors I've ever had. He lays everything you need on a silver platter, so there's no reason to fail his class. He's usually available all day except before 7 AM and after 9 PM, be so be sure to send him a message on Remind, Discord, or via email, if you have a burning question.

I took this class in the summer which was a 16 week course mashed into 8 weeks, so keep that in mind. There is a lot of busy work and around 2 labs are due each week. The tests are fair if you study the material. I highly recommend attending the lectures, and if you can't try to watch them afterward.

I'm not a science major but Astronomy has always been an interest. Dr. Page is great at breaking down each section of his lectures so that you can understand it and he'll answer any questions or concerns you may have. The labs are fun, homework isn't too bad and he gives study guides for exams. Overall, he's a great Prof and I'd take class again.

Dr. Page is great! He goes into detail in his lectures to explain everything. This class is heavy, consisting of lessons, labs, discussion boards, quizzes, & exams. He will drop the lowest grade from each category, depending on how many there are. Participation MATTERS! If you don't keep up with work, you will fail. Do your work, & you'll be fine.

Dr. Page is great, his lectures are engaging and he doesn't require cameras on which is nice. There are quite a few assignments to work on but he is very generous with grading. He only counts the top scores in each grading category (exams, homework, quizzes and discussion board posts). He also offers plenty of opportunity for extra credit.

Dr. Page has a clear-cut and straightforward curriculum that very effectively teaches students the material. His lectures are easy to understand and can be very engaging. He is very easy to reach via email, discord, or office hrs. As long as you show up and do the work, you can easily get a good grade. He is also a very nice guy!

PHY202 with Dr. Page was awesome! From here is very clear and transparent with how the class is going to be graded. There was definitely a lot of outside work to be done, but it all had relevance to the exams/labs. Labs were straightforward and useful. As long as you did the HW/paid attention in class, the exams were not bad.

As a pathways student, this professor is an amazing choice. Great teacher that turns a difficult course into something vey manageable. Lot's of coursework, but completion basically guarantees you an A. Would have liked to take Physics 3 with him if my degree required it.

Best professor I have ever had. Took him for PHY202 too. He is intimidating and sarcastic but he is a very knowledgeable and humorous guy. He isn't the teacher you can suck up to but it's respectable. The tests are exactly what you do in class so if you feel tricked, you're not paying attention. Will miss the guy after I transfer

Dr. Page has clearly taught this class a lot, and knows how to explain everything effectively. He makes it less intimidating than it sounds. Lectures are clear and entertaining. Homework is reasonable and helpful. Tests are difficult(C average) but they mostly come directly from class work. This class could have sucked, but he made it great.

If you were traumatized from the Physics 1 professors like I was, this man is your saving grace. His tests are exactly like everything we did in class. The homework was just like we did in class. He didn't take off a gigantic amount of points for one little mistake. A little intimidating but its fair.

Fair and knowledgeable professor. Would take again for Physics 2.
